Rebellious Lord of All Realms: Su Chen's Dark Harem

Yun Yun’s vow to protect, Xiao Xun’er’s fiery initial heartAt the other end of the starry sea linked by consciousness, the azure light of the Wind Blades and the colored light of the phoenix intertwined like two inseparable streams, merging into a warm domain of light. Yun Yun and Xiao Xun Er sat side by side in the center of the domain, their figures appearing exceptionally soft amidst the radiance.

The shifting lights and shadows of the starry sea pulled Yun Yun’s memories back to the old site of the Cloud Mist Sect. At that time, she had just given up her position as Sect Master, her heart filled with guilt and confusion. She felt she had failed the Sect’s expectations and the disciples’ trust, and did not know where her future lay. It was during her most despondent moment that Su Chen found her.

He took her to the ruined main hall of the Cloud Mist Sect, looking at the dust-covered tables and chairs and the faded Sect plaque on the wall, and said softly, ”Yun Yun, you haven’t lost your Sect; you’ve simply found something more worth protecting.”

Su Chen’s words were like a beam of light, illuminating her confused heart. At that moment, the wind spirit power within her suddenly surged, resonating with the Nishen Mark Su Chen had left in her body. The power of the azure Wind Blades burst through her skin, carrying black nishen markings as it whistled through the hall, severing the past that bound her. Looking into Su Chen’s eyes, she said firmly, ”I am no longer the Sect Master of the Cloud Mist Sect, I am just your Yun Yun.”

Su Chen smiled and reached out to hold her hand, the warmth of his palm comforting and reassuring. ”No matter who you are, I will protect you.”

From then on, she followed Su Chen and the Sisters, experiencing trials and tribulations together. She remembered in Suotuo City, using her God-Defying Wind Blade to sever Xiao Ling’s Tang Sect Hidden Weapons, creating an opening for Xiao Wu to attack; in the Star Dou Secret Realm, her Wind Blades coordinated with Xiao Xun Er’s Strange Fire to burn back countless Spirit Beasts; on the battlefield, she used her Wind Wings to protect her injured Sisters and her Wind Blades to clear obstacles for Su Chen. Every battle further solidified her resolve to protect.

”Sister Yun Yun, what are you thinking about?” Xiao Xun Er’s voice rang out gently, interrupting Yun Yun’s memories.

Yun Yun turned to look at the brightly smiling Xiao Xun Er beside her, her eyes full of tenderness. ”I was thinking about the Cloud Mist Sect, and the first time you helped treat my injuries.”

Xiao Xun Er’s cheeks flushed slightly as she laughed, ”Back then, I wasn’t very good at controlling the Strange Fire; I almost burned your clothes off.”

The two shared a smile, their memories returning simultaneously to that night at the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well. Back then, Xiao Xun Er’s Nishen Strange Fire was suppressed by the Ancient Ice Soul and was nearly extinguished. Su Chen, disregarding the ice soul’s chilling air, held her and continuously infused his God-Defying Soul Power into her body. Yun Yun stood by their side, using her Wind Blades to fend off the ice soul’s attacks and protect them both.

”Brother Su Chen said my Strange Fire isn’t meant for destruction, but for protection.” A firm light shone in Xiao Xun Er’s eyes as the Colored Phoenix Fire in her palm flickered gently. ”From then on, I told myself that I would use this flame to protect Su Chen, protect the Sisters, and protect everything we care about.”

She remembered in the Star Dou Secret Realm, using this flame to scorch Xiao Ling’s body and watching him flee in a sorry state, her heart filled with satisfaction; she remembered at Shrek Academy, using her Phoenix Fire to block Ma Hongjun’s attack and protect Ning Rongrong; she remembered on the battlefield, her Phoenix Fire coordinating with Yun Yun’s Wind Blades to drive back countless Divine Army soldiers. Every time she used the Strange Fire, it was for protection; this had long since become her original heart.

”Me too,” Yun Yun said softly, the azure light of Wind Blades flowing at her fingertips. ”Before, I protected the Cloud Mist Sect, but now I protect all of you. Su Chen said that what’s worth protecting isn’t a cold Sect, but people. You all are the people I want to protect most.”

Her Wind Blade power and Xiao Xun Er’s Phoenix Fire power intertwined in the starry sea, the wind aiding the fire and the fire drawing strength from the wind, forming an indestructible light shield of protection. Within this shield was Yun Yun’s oath of protection, Xiao Xun Er’s original heart of flame, and the deep sisterly bond between them.

”Sister Yun Yun, in the future, we must continue to fight together and protect everyone.” Xiao Xun Er reached out and took Yun Yun’s hand.

Yun Yun squeezed back firmly, her eyes full of determination. ”Alright. No matter what danger we encounter, we will face it together.”

The two lights grew increasingly brilliant in the starry sea, echoing with the thirteen other lights to form a powerful Power of Bonds. This power crossed the barrier between consciousness and reality, surging into the battlefield. In reality, faint new flesh grew at the site of Yun Yun’s severed arm, and the azure Wind Blade power reconsolidated, becoming even more refined than before; the Phoenix Fire in Xiao Xun Er’s palm flared up, the colored flames transforming into a massive phoenix phantom that let out a clear, high-pitched cry, intimidating the surrounding Divine Army soldiers into retreating.
