Clan Cultivation: Starting with Building an Island Immortal City

53: The Heavenly Army marched eastward, burning down the enemy’s stronghold. The three men and three women who stole the Cultivation Technique from the Immortal Qin Imperial Dynasty and returned, after a thousand years of management, relying on the stolen Cultivation Technique foundation and the power of the evil marrow of the planet, actually allowed the Wo Clan to be reborn, establishing a bloody and bizarre “Dao Lineage” in that bitter, harsh land.

The Wo Clan revered these six individuals as the “Six Creation Saints,” erecting ancestral shrines, enjoying blood sacrifices, and worshipping them as gods.

These six individuals, nourished by the massive stolen resources and the extraordinary power of the evil marrow, actually defied Heaven, living for thousands of years, pushing their cultivation to an incredible realm, becoming the supreme existences in the Wo Clan’s Cultivation world, their words becoming law, controlling the fate of all living beings on Wo Island.

However, beneath the glory, a deep curse was sown.

While the evil marrow of the planet bestowed power, it also permanently solidified, and even amplified, the Bloodline defects of their clan!

After a thousand years of reproduction, the Wo Clan descendants still retained their original appearance:

The females were beautiful, but their Cultivation talent was generally inferior, making them difficult to use for important tasks.

The males were mostly short and squat, with vulgar faces; although their Cultivation talent far surpassed that of females, their ugly appearance had become a Heart Demon.

Especially those high-ranking Wo Clan male mighty figures whose cultivation had deepened, their minds were eroded day and night by the inherent violence, paranoia, and greed hidden within the evil marrow, long since becoming twisted and perverted.

They wielded the power to move mountains and overturn seas, yet they still bore a physical form they themselves detested.

Seeing that many women in their clan admired the tall and handsome foreign Cultivators or merchants who occasionally drifted there, their resentment grew over time, and jealousy burned within them.

“Why do we possess such power, yet still resemble sewer rats, unable to see the light?!”

“Why are the people of Divine Land so handsome and refined, favored by Spiritual Qi?!”

“Heavenly Dao is unfair! If it is unfair, I will defy Heaven and change my fate!”

Extreme emotions intertwined with the evil power of the evil marrow, ultimately giving birth to an utterly insane “Human Race Improvement” plan.

The Six Saints tacitly approved, and even spearheaded, a horrific catastrophe that quietly descended.

They actually turned their gaze towards—the people of Divine Land who had once bestowed upon them the grace of enlightenment!

They believed that the people of Divine Land, with their strong physiques, upright appearance, and affinity for Spiritual Qi, were the perfect “medicinal primer” for improving the Wo Clan’s inherent flaws!

Initially, they secretly abducted lone fishermen and merchants along the coast.

Later, it developed into organizing fleets to raid remote island villages, and even venturing deep inland, disguising themselves, setting ambushes, and kidnapping thousands of Divine Land commoners, secretly transporting them back to Wo Island.

In the dark, sunless secret caves, they used these living people as material to perform various cruel and forbidden arts:

Blood exchange, soul Fusion, skinning and bone grafting... In the Late Stage, they even attempted to mix Human Race embryos with powerful sea beasts and demonic creatures!

Countless Divine Land commoners and Wo Clan civilians screamed in extreme pain and died, becoming the remnants of failed experiments.

However, behind the tragedy, another kind of demon was born.

Some test subjects, under inhuman torture, underwent mutations, transforming into monsters that were neither human nor beast, both human and beast, knowing only slaughter and pain.

One branch of test subjects, forcefully fused with the genes of ferocious sea beasts such as the East Sea giant turtle, evil shark, and poisonous jellyfish, unexpectedly gave birth to a portion of terrifying mixed-bloods who retained intelligence, possessed powerful combat strength, and were more adapted to the deep-sea environment.

They had ferocious appearances, half-human and half-fish, either covered in scales or with sharp claws, possessing immense strength and excellent swimming abilities, and also inherited the violent Qi of the evil marrow of the planet, as well as mutated cultivation bodies.

However, deep within their hearts, they harbored an ingrained hatred for the Wo Clan who had created them and treated them like pigs and dogs.

Over the years, they endured and planned.

Finally, under the leadership of a mighty ruler, “King Cangming,” all the powerful mixed-blood test subjects meticulously conspired, launching a sudden attack on a stormy night!

With coordination from within and without, they broke through numerous Restrictions, massacred several of the largest secret cave laboratories, slaughtered countless Wo Clan guard Cultivators, seized warships, rushed out of Wo Island, and vanished into the vast East Sea.

They called themselves the “Blood Curse Sea Clan,” establishing strongholds in the deep sea to recuperate and multiply.

Due to their special Bloodline, they could survive underwater, and even fuse and reproduce with many marine creatures, causing their clan to rapidly expand and their power to grow day by day.

They hated all creatures on land, especially the Wo Clan, frequently harassing their coast, leading to continuous battles between the two sides, a blood feud that would be difficult to resolve for eternity.

And their range of activity, as their clan grew stronger, gradually touched upon a Spiritual Qi-rich Holy Land of Immortals on the shores of the East Sea—the three main islands under the jurisdiction of the Three Immortals Sect!

The Blood Curse Sea Clan discovered that the Immortal Islands were rich in Spiritual Qi, and presumptuously attempted to claim them, organizing large armies to attack the islands multiple times.

However, the Three Immortals Sect was a great Sect of the current era, and also the thousand-year leader of the East Sea, enfeoffed by the contemporary Imperial Family—the Kaiyuan Imperial Dynasty. It had numerous experts and strict Formations. How could these barbaric sea demons, who ate raw meat and drank blood, covet it?

The attacking Sea Clan were all annihilated by swift and decisive means, their corpses floating for thousands of miles, dyeing the sea red.

But this incident also thoroughly alarmed the high-ranking members of the Three Immortals Sect.

Almost simultaneously, the Sect’s sea patrol Disciples and affiliated coastal Families reported one after another:

In recent times, many inhabited islands in the East Sea, and even coastal villages on the mainland, had frequent disappearances of people and livestock. The scenes often had lingering bizarre evil Qi and some non-human hair and scales. Upon investigation, it was found to be inextricably linked to the Wo Clan and the Blood Curse Sea Clan!

The Three Immortals Sect thus learned of the Wo Clan’s insane abduction activities and the existence of the Blood Curse Sea Clan.

The three Island Masters of the Three Immortals Sect were extremely enraged upon hearing the report!

The East Sea was the territory granted to the Three Immortals Sect by the Imperial Dynasty. As a Dao field, it was their duty and the foundation of their Dao to protect the living beings of the region.

Now, there were petty villains who repeatedly defied Heavenly might, slaughtered the common people, practiced such horrifying evil arts, and even dared to covet the foundation of the Immortal Sect. This was an unforgivable crime, too numerous to record!

The three Island Masters immediately jointly submitted a memorial, sending it via Jade Slip directly to the Divine Capital of the Kaiyuan Imperial Dynasty, to personally report to the contemporary Heavenly Khan—Li Fengming.

The memorial detailed the Wo Clan’s ingratitude, theft of techniques, betrayal of morality, massacre of the common people, and creation of demonic evils, as well as the Blood Curse Sea Clan’s rampant harassment of the sea borders and invasion of Immortal Islands. Every word was filled with blood and tears, accompanied by illustrations and shadow images, and fragments of memories obtained through soul-searching, forming irrefutable evidence!

Heavenly Khan Li Fengming was furious upon reading the memorial, his imperial might shaking the Lingxiao Hall!

Heaven shows no favoritism, only assisting the virtuous.

The Wo Clan defied Heaven and Dao, harming Our people, which truly provoked the wrath of both humans and gods, and would not be tolerated by Heaven and Earth!

Therefore, We specially enfeoff the three Island Masters of the Three Immortal Islands as “Heavenly Envoys for Pacifying the Sea and Exterminating Demons,” bestowing upon them the “Sword of Vengeance for Every Scale,” one of the Six Swords of the Son of Heaven, to act on behalf of Heaven in dispensing punishment and to take overall charge of the East Sea punitive expedition.

The imperial decree stated:

You are to command all Cultivators in the East Sea, launch an expedition without delay, sweep away the evil, and utterly exterminate the Wo Clan and the demonic evil they created, the “Blood Curse Sea Clan,” to eliminate future troubles forever!

Anyone who dares to obstruct, intercede, or collude with the enemy shall be punished with the same crime and be beheaded by the Son of Heaven’s Sword!

Once the Heavenly decree was issued, the situation changed dramatically!

The Three Immortals Sect immediately issued a widespread “Immortal Alliance Conscription Order.” Large and small Sects and Cultivation Families along the East Sea coast responded to the call, gathering at the Three Immortal Islands.

For a time, above the Immortal Islands, flying ships were like locusts, banners obscured the sun, Cultivators were like clouds, and Sword Qi soared into the sky!

The three Island Masters burned incense and offered sacrifices to Heaven, bringing out the “Sword of Vengeance for Every Scale.”

When the sword was unsheathed, a Dragon roar shook the four seas, and the majestic imperial Qi intertwined with the awe-inspiring Sword Intent, casting a cold light over the East Sea, repelling all evil!

“Advance!”

With a single command, thousands of sails set forth!

The Immortal Imperial Army, mighty and vast, charged straight towards the thousand-island demonic realm shrouded in evil mist!

A world-shaking battle between an ancient Cultivation Sect and a Heaven-Defying race that stole techniques erupted with a roar!

Regarding the details of this war, the records of strange tales of the universe only contain one sentence:

【The Heavenly Army marched east, achieved victory in three days, the Wo Clan’s nest was completely burned, the Blood Curse Sea Clan was executed, and the East Sea was thus pacified】
