Gao Wu: Infinite Entries, Starting from Killing the Enemy to Plunder

96: : Killing Paradise“It’s good that you have this confidence, but I still need to give you a word of advice.”

“What is it?”

“You can kill Star Beasts as you please, but when it comes to other participants, try to be passive; that is, don’t actively attack others.”

Li Zhantian’s tone was very serious; he wasn’t joking.

Lin Wu thought about it, and it was indeed true.

Even in the Galaxy Pride Competition, the unspoken rule everyone defaults to is friendship first, competition second.

Lin Wu’s growth rate was too fast, even shocking Li Zhantian.

If too much trouble was left now, it would definitely be detrimental to Lin Wu’s future development.

Simply put, he couldn’t make too many enemies!

“I understand. In the upcoming rounds of the competition, I will try not to actively challenge others.”

Lin Wu readily accepted this advice.

Li Zhantian had no vested interest in harming him, and Wu Ling also didn’t offer any reminders.

“Rest for a bit. The competition starts tomorrow morning.”

“Alright.”

Lin Wu casually found a room and slept soundly… The next morning.

The competition officially entered the preparation phase.

All participants headed to the designated location on the planet to wait.

The so-called designated location was the Altar of Heaven built on the Progenitor Star.

The Human Race of the Galaxy would regularly come to the Progenitor Star to perform sacrifices to heaven, commemorating their ancestors.

Many people gathered near the Altar of Heaven.

And on the VIP platform, naturally, were Li Zhantian and others of extremely high status.

“Distinguished colleagues, esteemed participants, please allow me to introduce today’s guests!”

Li Zhantian’s voice attracted everyone’s attention, and beside him was a powerful individual dressed simply but constantly exuding the aura of a superior.

His Realm was neither higher nor lower than Li Zhantian’s, but in their interaction,

it was clear that Li Zhantian treated him extremely well.

“He is the Galaxy King’s younger brother, titled Galactic Grand Duke, and also the Commander of the Galaxy Legion, as well as the organizer of this ancestral worship event.”

“Please give him a warm round of applause.”

Enthusiastic applause erupted in the venue.

After all, he was a Galactic Grand Duke, a position second only to the Galaxy King, and he sat as an equal with powerful regional officials like Li Zhantian.

The hereditary title was very powerful.

His current ability was also very strong.

He was the Commander of the Galaxy Legion; in other words, he was the head of military power!

In an idol drama, he would be a great general.

“Hello everyone, my name is Zhu Tianyi. You can call me Grand Duke Zhu.”

“Next, I will introduce this competition.”

Hearing this, everyone perked up their ears and listened intently.

The content of the competition had been kept secret from the beginning. Both Li Zhantian and this Grand Duke could freely change the content, and even the difficulty, of the test before its official start.

This prevented cheating and introduced much unpredictability.

“For the first round of the competition, we will travel to a desolate planet in the Primordial Star System. On it, a large number of Star Beasts will be released, including one billion Venerable Rank Star Beasts, and at the same time, ten million Saint-level Star Beasts. All of these can be freely killed.”

“Killing them will earn points, and participants can also freely utilize the corpses of these Star Beasts.”

Everyone gasped upon hearing this!

Venerable Rank Star Beasts possessed Grandmaster-level combat power. Such Vicious Beasts, with a terrifying scale of one billion released at once, could directly destroy an Intermediate civilization.

Saint-level Star Beasts, needless to say, were directly comparable to the Human Race’s Star Radiance-level.

This level of combat power also saw ten million released.

“This release scale is too terrifying, isn’t it? I’m starting to not want to go. One mistake and I might die on the spot!”

“Indeed, you have to know that desolate planets are generally not large. No matter which planet they are released on, they will face Star Beasts like a surging tide!”

“I am already afraid.”

Before the competition even started, many people were already backing out.

Li Zhantian even felt it was a bit excessive.

It should be known that nearly half of the students only had Grandmaster-level combat power.

If they encountered an attack from a Saint-level Star Beast during the competition, they would probably be instantly annihilated.

The intensity of this competition could be said to be unprecedented!

Lin Wu, however, was not afraid of these things.

In the eyes of others, these were crises.

For Lin Wu,

this was simply a slaughter paradise. With so many Star Beasts, just killing a few would allow his Realm to skyrocket, and his Dantian limit could also rapidly increase!

Not to mention the entries.

These two levels of Star Beasts could be said to have many powerful entries!

Currently, his progress in the competition had entered a Bottleneck, often leading to tough battles. If he could improve again, the subsequent competitions and stages would be smooth sailing!

The Grand Duke continued to speak.

“At the same time, I would like to remind everyone again: if you want to withdraw, do so quickly. We will not be responsible for any casualties, so please make your choice promptly.”

As soon as these words were spoken,

a portion of the people couldn’t hold on any longer.

They could have lived a happy life, and there was no need for them to risk their lives here.

“Didn’t they say this was a place to gain experience? Why do I have to risk my life now? I’m withdrawing immediately; my life is more important!”

A few people left on the spot.

“I agree. It’s not that I want to run away halfway, but our strength is indeed insufficient, so we’ll respectfully take our leave first!”

More and more people chose to withdraw, almost a third of the participants left. Originally, there were tens of thousands of people in the venue, but now only twenty thousand remained.

After a long while, when all those who wanted to leave had done so,

the Grand Duke continued to speak.

“This time, we will still be using a point system. The more you kill, the more points you get.”

“The point acquisition rules are as follows: if you kill a Venerable Rank One-stage Star Beast, you will directly receive 200 points. If you kill a Venerable Rank Two-stage, you will receive 400 points.

And so on!”

These competition rules were largely similar to the previous ones.

“The same applies to Saint-level Star Beasts, starting at 400 points, and for every higher stage, the points obtained will double!

If you can kill or defeat other participants, you will directly receive half of their points.

In the first round of the competition, the top one thousand participants will qualify for the second round.

Those are the rules!”

The Grand Duke looked at the silent crowd, very satisfied, as there were no instances of people running away with their buckets.

Then he asked again,

“Are the remaining people sure they don’t want to withdraw? This time, there is a risk to life!”

“If you wish to continue the competition, you can now board the warships. They will transport you in batches to the desolate planet.”

The Grand Duke waved his hand, and a massive warship descended from the sky.

Strictly speaking, these were not warships, but rather transport ships.

They were extremely fast and highly efficient in transportation.
