Netori: Stealing The Hero's Party!

Chapter 929: Picking Up The Pieces - Part 3

The faerie lay quiet on her daughter’s bed. Quiet as the eye of the storm with raging winds surrounding her body. Liliyana and Amedith watched over the recovering fae, with Erika doing a quick inspection on her before she must return to her duties. A lot had been lost that day, many had laid down their lives for their cause, and many were fighting demons of both mind and body.

As the most holy Envoy of their goddesses, Erika was meant to inspire courage in the soldiers’ hearts, but for now, she couldn’t leave–not until the full extent of Will-O’s condition has been assessed. The faerie, while out of danger and under the blessing of Evangeline, could not perish outside a fight; her body was far different than that of the Valkyrie. And with no healing from rage or fighting, she was mostly relying on help from others, especially magic.

Anxious of heart, Liliyana prayed for her godmother’s quick recovery. Amedith stood by her, acting as the pillar for her to lean on whenever her spirit began to waver. Not long after the ships sailed from the coast of Alliance, Raven too arrived in Liliyana’s room after an extremely long meeting held in private with only a handful of his companions.

At first, Liliyana recoiled at the sight of him, shifting her sights to Will-O instead. But as the hero revealed what he had already told everyone else in the meeting room, the half devil lifted her gaze and stared at him. Her anger and frustration, however, could not last long–not when she knew that the beast that had forced him to act violently against them was already gone.

”It’s all that bitch Nerva’s fault,” turning the tides of violent contempt towards the witch goddess, she heaved. ”Just...Don’t ever hurt her again or anyone else, you hear?”

Staring at Raven again, she narrowed her eyebrows and exclaimed.

”You almost got her killed! And who knows what else–” Feeling a gentle squeeze on her shoulder, the she-devil’s words were abruptly cut short. Looking at Amedith, his hand resting on her, Liliyana pressed her lips together and closed her eyes as the dam of her emotion threatened to flood over. ”I-I’m sorry, I was just...”

”You don’t have to explain,” pulling her into a hug, Amedith caressed her back. ”Forget it, I’m sure it won’t happen anymore. We need to focus on the real enemy and not fight amongst ourselves.”

Letting them have a moment, the hero and Erika both turned to each other instead. The priestess was baffled to hear the news for sure, but not once did she ever question Raven being at the helm of their mission. Her trust placed in him and that of her goddess placed on his shoulders as well, was enough for her to trust the hero, be he the son of a wicked goddess or not.

”I saw you grow from a troublemaker to a man,” placing a hand on his chest, Erika gave him a smile–a rare sight these days. ”Even if she had any claim over you, Raven. It’s lost and forgotten, because that’s the nature of evil. Fickle but light casts it into the shadows.”

”Mhnmm...” The sudden mumbling of the faerie tugged at everyone’s necks at once. As the group turned to Will-O lying in bed in her enlarged body, she twisted and turned before stretching her arms and sitting upright without opening her eyes even once. Patting her mouth while yawning, the fae spread her wings and let them flutter–sending sparkling dust across the room and a hint of rosemary and lavender. ”By mother’s might, that was the best sleep I’ve had, ever.”

”Oh, thank god, you’re okay!” Leaping into her mother’s lap, Liliyana wrapped her arms around Will-O’s waist. The shocked faerie opened her eyes, looking around for a moment with apparent confusion before landing her gaze on her girl. ”Gods...I thought you were gone when–”

”Hmm? Did something happen to me?” Asked the faerie, her hands gently combing through Lily’s hair.

While the devil cried and sniffled on her lap, she tried to comfort her with her presence and looked elsewhere to figure out what was happening. Instead of an answer, however, the hero stepped forward with thanks.

”Maybe it’s best if you forget what happened. In either case, what you need to know is that I’m grateful for saving my life against that double-crossing goddess.”

”I saved your life?”

”Yes and more,” rising from her lunched stance, Erika lifted her right hand beside her with a scrutinizing look. ”But we can talk about it later.”

A mist of deep crimson emerged from the priestess’s nails, forming a small typhoon of deep red confined to the room. Passing over one of the windows, it revealed the invisible form of a horned woman, sitting in a chair. Her eyes began to glow, and her body slowly became visible. Her flesh was as red as blood, and her skin steamed with passion so deep it caused the air around her to ripple in waves.

”We have a guest,” Erika murmured, her eyes shifting from their regular blue to halfway crimson red.

Smirking at the sight, the intruder clapped her hands and stood up from her chair. Naked as sin with pierced belly, nipples, and clit, the devil’s gaze wandered while the rest prepared to fight. Alas, she wasn’t there to test the heroes, but something quite mundane for her standards.

”Mistress of lord Luseferious, Malefista,” bending her curvy, hourglass perfection, the devil gave a pretentious bow. ”One amongst many, and I have come to collect the divine soul as per our deal.”

Lifting her head, she smiled at the hero. At the same time, her nipples, her pussy, and even her asshole began to glow with a warm orange glow–a sure sign of her arousal, and an attempt to steal the hero’s seed.

”We have much to talk about,” glancing at Will-O, the devil’s tone turned more formal. ”But how about we move somewhere else first? Away from an injured person, I wouldn’t wanna disrupt her rest. And maybe...”

Smirking, she turned her head to the hero.

”Maybe we can have some fun and strike some fun deals together, what do you think?” As pressing as her presence was in the Trident, Raven lowered her weapon, for not even a devil could break a soul pact, and from the looks of it...this ’Mistress’ fancied him–a thread he could most certainly pull to gain an advantage towards numerous things.
