Netori: Stealing The Hero's Party!

Chapter 701: The Mantle Of Heroes

The heroes who fought alongside Nightsilver, why were they forgotten? His name still echoed a millennium past his sacrifice, yet the names of his companions were buried deep under the ash of war. Some even survived the battle against the demon lord, and only time and the holy war claimed their bodies. Then why?

”Answer’s quite simple, he had too many ’party members’. About a thousand of them, from what I’ve read,” admiring the dark mantle on his desk, Darius recounted what he had learned in the academy. ”Most of them must’ve gone into hiding. Others probably died fighting alongside a god against another god. Had I known that there were gods other than Aphrodite back when I was in the academy, I probably would’ve at least tried looking into the topic of the holy war that you speak of.”

Pursing his lips with a look of uncertainty in his eyes, Darius looked up at the hero and sighed. Feeling a gentle hand running by his arm, however, the tension in his body melted in a second. Smiling, he looked at Aelin walking by him. Dressed in a casual brown gown, she carried the tea tray to a free worktable and set it on top.

”By the way, Duke Raven ’Phrodite...” Turning around with her hands on her hips and a playful smile, Aelin pointed her index finger at Raven. ”Next time, try knocking before you bust into our bedroom, alright?”

Quickly covering her mouth, she laughed into it. Her soothing voice eased the tension a little, although the twin’s lingering gaze on the succubus concerned both of the men a little. Nudging her on the shoulder, Raven knocked the blush off the woman’s face.

”O-Oh, what?” Blinking her eyes, the twin stared blankly at Raven. ”What happened?”

That look of fascination twinkling in her gaze, the hero knew it far too well. This version of Mono was a little loose in bed.

’Another reason Mono would’ve killed you.’ He thought to himself before speaking up.

”Be grateful that we need you alive, there’s plenty of girls I know that would kill a lesbian on sight. Erika, Mono, Reina, and those are just the ones that I can think of right now.”𝑓𝑟𝑒𝘦𝓌𝑒𝑏𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝘭.𝒸𝘰𝑚

At a loss for words and confused as to why Raven would even ruffle such a topic at this moment, the twin furrowed her brows and just stared at him. Before she could even come up with anything, everyone’s attention turned back to the matter at hand.

”So what can we expect from this cape? Anything special besides what we’ve already seen?” Raven asked Darius right as Aelin brought him a cup of tea in her hand. Taking the cup, both him and Darius each, the men leaned into the table and followed the golden seam. ”I have a war to take this thing into, you’re all coming too, just like last time, so...tell me everything you know because our lives may in some backstabbing way depend on a niche ability.”

”Another war?” Looking right in front at Raven, Darius stared at him for a moment and then scoffed. ”What else would the soldiers be riled up for. Whatever, not like we had any peace in the city with Reina visiting us daily.”

Setting his cup to the side, Darius folded the mantle and set it aside. Taking a seat in his chair, he then reached into his desk drawers and scrambled to find something particular. Eventually, as his fingers touched his journal’s hard cover, he quickly whipped it out and began flipping through it.

”We had some sessions on Nightsilver’s abilities, give me some time and I’m sure I can shortlist some that are imbued within the mantle.”

”Alright then, I wasn’t expecting this to be easy.” Standing straight again, Raven took a sip from his cup and turned to the smiling demon. ”Sorry, but I’ll be borrowing your husband until the war is over, no need to worry, though I’ll make sure he stays out of trouble and away from other ladies.”

Hitting Raven with a playful slap on his shoulder, Aelin went back to the kitchen, smiling. Once she was out of sight, Raven turned to the twin and offered her his cup. The woman’s eyes, however, were too focused on the retreating frame of the succubus, especially with that tail flitting about behind a curvy ass.

Scoffing to himself, Raven grabbed the twin’s fingers and dipped them into the cup. With a shriek, she recoiled–her flesh was still sensitive to the temperature, perhaps more than others because of her hermit-like lifestyle.

”What the hell was that for!?” She complained, her eyes narrowed with anger.

Without even looking up from his journal, Darius replied.

”For staring at my wife’s ass...” Leaning forward, the man who was ready to make love not half an hour ago decided not to think about the act, especially since Aelin was a deceptively whorish slut in bed who loved to boost not just her senses but his as well, along with an infinite boost to their stamina thanks to her now being a succubus.

’War, war and war, once we’re done this time we’re not leaving that bedroom for a year.’ Surprisingly enough, the lovers were thinking the same thing as each other. Their bond was so strong that it brought a dead person back to life, and now as their bodies aged more and more, the desire to mate was getting quite out of hand and mostly to breed and have children, but not ready for children yet, the two had a massive box full of Elanrian condoms stacked right under their bed.

By the time Raven and the twin left the place, the two were already thinking about making use of at least a few condoms out of the thousands that they’d brought. However, with the weight of people’s lives on their shoulders, Darius was forced to focus on the research, and Aelin decided to get some rest now, as once her husband tired himself, she would probably have to be the one to hand over the results.

However, tossing and turning in bed, it wasn’t long until she could no longer resist the temptation and returned to her husband wearing transparent lingerie with glittering fabric. Her violet skin, raw as pink flesh, was nearly left bare, was, needless to say, enough to buy the two a little passion-filled break.
