The strength is the sum of the whole class, and he is promoted to the Grandmaster level at the beginning.

99: Qilin Class Recruitment“To be precise, China’s current central hub is in the deeper No Mans Land,” the Principal explained. “In the era before Martial Dao’s resurgence, No Mans Land was a forbidden zone for humans, full of dangers.”

“However, after the Martial Dao era, various Secret Realms and ruins appeared one after another. No Mans Land provided China with immense resources, but relatively, it also brought disaster to China.”

“Similar places include China’s Dragon Vein Land, and the former Wild Man’s Peak.”

“Nowadays, China’s Secret Realm Cities, after so many years of development, have formed two distinct levels of differentiation from China.”

“The Martial Artists in Secret Realm Cities, their overall strength far surpasses those in China.”

“It’s just that the power of the aristocratic families in Secret Realm Cities is also very significant.”

“Actually, this isn’t due to the higher-ups being inactive. Rather, in the Early Stage of the Martial Dao era, during the Great Chaos Era, the aristocratic families rose in power, and their combat strength was already enough to influence the decisions of the higher-ups.”

Yu Xiu’s brows remained tightly furrowed as he asked, “According to your statement, the founder of the Blood God Sect wasn’t truly a defector?”

“Precisely!” The Principal nodded. “At that time, the aristocratic families were powerful, and many commoner Geniuses constantly sought refuge with them for resources.”

“If this continued, the aristocratic families would become like ancient clans, with commoner Geniuses relying on them and acting as pawns. If it evolved into this, China would fall into great chaos, and commoner Geniuses would never have a chance to rise again.”

“Therefore, the purpose of the Blood God Sect was to secretly gather commoner Geniuses, cultivate them in secret, and even send some to Secret Realm Cities for training, preventing them from becoming pawns for the aristocratic families.”

“However, Elder Ge left China for too long, causing some within the Blood God Sect to violate their original promises and beliefs.”

“This is why you see some Blood God Sect members acting so fanatically.”

“So, some of the current Blood God Potions are genuine Blood God Potions; their side effects can be gradually controlled, and as long as they are not consumed in large quantities, there isn’t a big problem.”

“But some Blood God Potions are pirated. They only pursue rapid strength enhancement, and their side effects increase exponentially.”

Yu Xiu suddenly asked, “Principal, do you think these so-called pirated Blood God Potions might be a trick played by the higher-ups, a deliberate means to mislead the aristocratic families?”

“Or, could the pirated Blood God Potions actually be created by the aristocratic families behind the scenes?”

The Principal was stunned by his words.

He remained silent for a long time.

“I don’t know about that either. Perhaps it’s as you’ve guessed, perhaps not.”

“In any case, what is your choice now? Are you willing to fight for the commoners?”

Yu Xiu shook his head and said, “I am not willing. Right now, I haven’t thought that far ahead. I just want to protect the people I care about and provide them with a stable and safe living environment.”

The Principal nodded, indicating his understanding.

“The instructions from the higher-ups are that even if you refuse, they will do their best to help you and give you the green light.”

“The best Secret Realm can also be yours, but you will need to contend for it yourself. Forming a team will also be given the green light.”

“The higher-ups hope that in the future battle of No Mans Land, your figure and your team will be present.”

No Mans Land?

Yu Xiu did not answer, because he himself did not know what the future would hold.

Perhaps he would go, perhaps not.

…

After bidding farewell to the Principal.

Yu Xiu returned to his dormitory.

Rather than a dormitory, it was more like a villa, because this villa area was the Advanced mentor apartment of Huaxia University.

The mentors living here were at least Advanced Great Grandmasters, and there were many Martial Venerables as well.

Therefore, Yu Xiu’s strength made his residence here compliant with regulations.

In short, these Advanced mentors did not feel any dissatisfaction due to Yu Xiu’s moving in.

Ultimately, everything still came down to strength.

The next day, Yu Xiu arrived at the club area arranged by the school.

This was a three-story building, entirely dedicated to club activities, and the sign for “Qilin Class” was already erected at the entrance.

Yu Xiu looked around inside; there was a lounge, a training room, and even specialized equipment for testing strength and Qi and blood.

It must be said that Huaxia University had given the best response to Yu Xiu’s requests.

“Boss!”

“We’re here.”

Yu Xiu had previously informed the people from Qin Province at Huaxia University. These were all students who had participated in the Provincial Training Camp before, and in a way, they were Yu Xiu’s direct subordinates.

“The recruitment for the club is up to you. According to school regulations, there’s no limit to the number of people our club can recruit.”

“However, we can’t just recruit anyone. Club members are future reserve members for our team.”

“The quality of the club members will directly affect the upper limit of our team.”

“Therefore, I’ve decided that the club will only recruit Martial Artists of Third Realm and above. Their inherent strength and Realm strength cannot differ by more than five percent. That is to say, for a Realm strength of 10,000 kilograms, their inherent strength cannot be less than 9,950 kilograms.”

“If someone possesses a special Talent, their Realm can be lowered to Fifth Realm Martial Artist.”

As Yu Xiu’s voice fell, someone asked, “Boss, how do we handle loyalty and such?”

“Club members are just reserves. Loyalty and character will be observed and assessed gradually.”

Yu Xiu said, “When recruiting, you can openly announce that the club members are reserve members for the team.”

“The team hasn’t been officially named yet. We’ll have to wait until after military training for the higher-ups to grant legal permission to form a team.”

“As for the team’s future benefits, they will be gradually improved and announced later.”

The few people from Qin Province chuckled, “Boss, if these people knew you had the authority to form a team, they would be shocked.”

“Indeed, by then, not to mention Huaxia University, students from other schools would probably be shocked too.”

“Boss is the first person to obtain permission to form a team as a student.”

“Although others obtained enough points in the Training Camp, their strength was too low, and obtaining permission to form a team was something that happened long after graduation.”

“Moreover, their teams generally consist of one hundred people, unlike our Boss. This is a massive team of seven hundred people. With Boss’s strength, it won’t take long to exchange military merits for more team members. Later, that will be a thousand-person combat team, which is equivalent to a regiment in the army.”

“A standard regiment has 1,500 people, but for Boss, 1,500 people won’t be a difficult matter.”

Listening to the praises and flattery of the few people, Yu Xiu’s expression remained calm.

“Alright, go get to business immediately.”

“Don’t worry, Boss, I’ve already contacted the school’s forum administrator. The draft has been edited, and now it just needs to be uploaded to the forum and stickied.”

“As for the conditions and regulations for finding people, just put up a sign at the entrance.”

“Don’t worry, Boss, we’ll handle the recruitment perfectly.”

“I can already imagine the huge crowd.”
