The Alpha Twins' Lottery Mate

Starlight helplessly took the phone with a soft sigh. It was almost hilarious remembering how Elle had been behaving yesterday after the incident, acting as though the entire world was about to come crashing down on her.

Now here she was, practically vibrating with excitement, looking as though she had consumed enough caffeine to power the entire academy for a week. Shaking her head in amusement, Starlight lowered her gaze back to the glowing screen, eager to see what could possibly top everything she had just read.

A NEW STAR RISES FROM THE CHAOS!

Written by: Songbird

Hello, my lovely little troublemakers of Asterion Academy! It’s your ever-watchful gossip columnist back with the absolute juiciest whispers floating through our academy halls. Grab your spicy popcorn and your favorite drink, then settle into your most comfortable seat, because this edition is one for the history books.

It’s been years since Asterion witnessed a scandal this explosive between humans and werewolves. The campus hasn’t been this chaotic in a very long time, and the air is thick with pure, unadulterated tension. There is a shift in the wind, my dear readers, and at the center of it all stands a single human girl who has managed to turn the entire academy upside down.

Starlight Dawson.

And whether you love her, hate her, or are currently stalking her Apex profile every five minutes, there is one undeniable fact:

Asterion Academy will not be the same after yesterday.

The Scandal That Lit the Match

Yesterday should have been another ordinary day at Asterion Academy, but fate clearly had other plans. It all started the moment Miss Dawson set foot on this campus. According to multiple students who witnessed the encounter, Princess Beatrice of the Perigee family, wrapped in her usual arrogance, bumped into her on her very first day and demanded an immediate, groveling apology for simply daring to occupy the same airspace. Naturally, everyone expected the human girl to lower her head, but unfortunately for the princess, Miss Dawson didn’t seem interested in following the traditional script. Instead ofp groveling, she refused to apologize. Instead of acting intimidated, she stood her ground, a defiance that rubbed our spoiled princess entirely the wrong way. Beatrice reportedly looked ready to claw her eyes out right then and there, and she likely would have if Ma’am Ezabel Beowulf hadn’t intervened and pulled her away, an incident that appears to have rubbed our spoiled princess the wrong way from the very beginning.

And if that wasn’t enough to push the royal past her breaking point, the situation only continued to escalate throughout the day. The heat finally reached a boiling point during lunchtime, right after the new students’ mandatory assembly. Beatrice allowed her violent streak to take over once again and slapped Starlight’s friend right in front of everyone, purely because the poor girl accidentally stepped into her path. Instead of backing down the way humans are traditionally expected to do, Miss Dawson stepped in, defended her friend, and slapped the sub-royal princess straight across the face, leaving the entire cafeteria in stunned silence. For a few seconds, nobody seemed to know how to react, because whether you support her actions or not, one thing is undeniable: very few humans in Asterion’s history have ever had the nerve to publicly strike a werewolf, let alone a sub-royal, and remain standing afterward.

Night Owl’s Smear Campaign

Following that explosive altercation, a certain toxic blogger decided to frame our human maverick as the aggressive villain of the century. They painted her as an out-of-control, violent newcomer trying to pick fights with werewolf royalty at every opportunity. They even went so far as to come up with mocking nicknames and insulting labels designed to turn public opinion against her.

But let’s set the record straight: Starlight Dawson wasn’t throwing hands for clout. She was standing her ground and protecting her friends from blatant, high-handed bullying. Night Owl conveniently ignored every act of provocation and instigation that led up to the confrontation, twisting the narrative to protect the precious egos of the Upper Crest while making Starlight look like the sole aggressor. Talk about a nasty, targeted hit piece!

The Video That Changed Everything

Too bad for the haters, our star girl isn’t the type to quietly swallow a smear campaign. Instead of hiding in her dorm room and crying, she dropped a nuclear bomb right onto the network.

Her response video, raw, unfiltered, and heartbreakingly sincere, struck a chord with almost everyone who watched it. It exposed the sheer abuse of power running rampant on this campus. She didn’t just defend herself, she called out the toxic hierarchy line by line, looking straight into the camera and challenging the entire status quo through tears.

The video spread through AsterBuzz like wildfire through dry grass. Students who had initially condemned her suddenly found themselves questioning everything. Within hours, students from every house were rallying under the banner of the Dawnbreakers, calling for full accountability and demanding an end to the protected bullying.

The Wolfhart Twins Enter the Arena

Just when people thought the scandal couldn’t get any spicier, the Wolfhart twins entered the chat. When the removal of their original voting endorsement video sparked a fresh wave of speculation, rumors spread across campus claiming they had revoked their support.

Certain individuals celebrated far too early. Victory posts were drafted, smug comments were made, and more than a few people seemed convinced that Miss Dawson had finally lost her most powerful supporters. But our imperial royals shut that fantasy down real quick.

They dropped a cold, ironclad official statement this morning that completely vaporized the rumors. Not only did they confirm that their support for Miss Dawson remains 100% solid, but they also explicitly threatened to ”clean up” anyone spreading lies about her.

Having both Wolfhart Alphas publicly shielding you is the kind of protection most students can only dream about. At this point, anyone still trying to drag Miss Dawson’s name through the mud should probably dig their own graves first.

From #61 to #5: A Historic Rocket Launch

Now, let’s talk about the Apex Ranking numbers, because the math is mathing in the most insane way! After yesterday’s heavy downvoting campaign dragged Starlight all the way from spot #15 down to a miserable #61, everyone thought she was finished. Fast forward to this morning, and Starlight rocketed straight up to #5 on the Apex Leaderboard! She completely shattered campus history.

Add in the fact that her newly minted AsterBuzz account gained over two hundred thousand followers in less than twenty-four hours, and it’s clear: Starlight Dawson isn’t just going to survive this academy. She’s taking it over.

Dawnbreakers are openly declaring that their target is to take their queen to the Top Three. At the rate things are going, nobody would be surprised if Miss Dawson breaks yet another record before the week is over.

Perigee Princess in Trouble?

And where does this leave our reigning subroyal highness, Princess Beatrice?

Oh, sweetie. It is an absolute disaster in the royal circles. Beatrice didn’t just lose her grip on the audience, she got knocked completely out of the top ten, tumbling all the way down to an embarrassing #30. To be dethroned and pushed down by the very human student you tried to crush? That has got to burn worse than wolfsbane. Word on the campus grapevine is that her PR team is breaking out in hives trying to stop the bleeding, while Beatrice herself is nowhere to be found. Rumor has it that damage-control meetings have been running nonstop since dawn, but judging by the current state of the rankings, they are losing that battle spectacularly.

A Seismic Shift

One thing is undeniably certain, my dear readers. Starlight Dawson is the shockwave Asterion never saw coming. She has completely flipped the power dynamics, shattered werewolf immunity, and captured the attention of the most powerful wolves on campus. Will the system bend to her, or will the beast strike back even harder? Either way, a wind of change is blowing through Asterion Academy, and we are going to live for every single second of it.
