Catastrophic necromancer

**Chapter 750: Witnessing the Birth of a Monster**

Antares had nothing to his name. Lin Moyu finally understood why, when making the Staff of Creation, this guy had to use his own dragon scales. And when giving something to Lin Moyu, it was also dragon scales. Although dragon scales are good, it also shows that this guy is really poor. He doesn’t care about the things in the small world, and he didn’t bring anything from the great world. No wonder he’s poor.

Lin Moyu curiously asked, “For someone of your level, don’t you have a personal storage space?”

Antares replied, “Of course, we dragons have storage spaces, but they exist in a different way.”

“My collection is divided into two parts: the most precious treasures are kept in the dragon’s nest, and some are carried with me.”

Lin Moyu pursued, “And where are these things?”

“In the dragon pearl,” Antares said sullenly, seemingly unhappy.

Several dragon pearls had already been found, but a few were still lost. The dragon pearl containing Antares’ collection had not yet been recovered.

Lin Moyu took the opportunity to ask, “I’ve always wondered, with your abilities, how could you not find the dragon pearl and need others to help?”

Antares shook his head, “You think I don’t want to? My dragon pearl was cursed by a bastard, and I can’t touch it. Only when someone else touches it will the curse disappear, and I can retrieve the dragon pearl.”

“And this person must be a human from your world. That bastard is too cunning!”

Lin Moyu roughly guessed who the bastard Antares was talking about. Over the millennia, Antares had used various methods to recover some dragon pearls through humans. Originally, there were sixteen dragon pearls, and twelve had been recovered, leaving four still lost.

Lin Moyu asked, “Do you know where the remaining dragon pearls are?”

“There are four dragon pearls left, all in deep space.”

Antares had some sense of the dragon pearls and could determine their locations. Although his power could enter deep space, the curse prevented him from retrieving the dragon pearls himself.

Antares complained, “In the previous era, I had a chance to retrieve all the dragon pearls, but those guys were too arrogant. What a bunch of idiots.”

It was clear that Antares held a lot of resentment, and the four dragon pearls were very important to him.

Lin Moyu softly said, “Don’t worry, I’ll retrieve those four dragon pearls.”

His voice was not loud, but very firm.

Antares grunted in acknowledgment and didn’t continue the topic, “Although I’m poor, I can still get some materials.”

He seemed to think of something, raised his head high, and a thick mist surged into the sky.

Lin Moyu seemed to hear a loud dragon roar and vaguely saw a huge dragon claw reaching out from the mist, heading to an unknown place.

Just a few seconds later, a huge corpse was thrown down.

Lin Moyu immediately recognized it as the corpse of the King of Wild Beasts. And it wasn’t an ordinary King of Wild Beasts; it was an extremely powerful one even among its kind.

Lin Moyu didn’t say much and directly summoned the Undying Lich. The Undying Lich came from wild beasts but wasn’t a true wild beast. This time, using the corpse of the King of Wild Beasts as material to upgrade it, he didn’t know if it would work.

The result was satisfactory. The Undying Lich turned into a mass of black gas, enveloping the huge bones of the King of Wild Beasts and began to devour them.

Antares didn’t stop, and the thick mist rolled again, reaching out once more.

This time, the wait was a bit longer, about a minute.

Something fell from the sky again.

It was a huge stone, over ten meters high, like a small mountain.

The small mountain-like stone hit the ground heavily, making a sound like metal clashing.

Although it was a heavy stone, Lin Moyu felt a sharp aura from it.

Just looking at it made his skin feel like it was being cut by a blade.

Antares said, “There are countless laws, and the same goes for elements.”

“This stone is called Goldstone and contains the law of the gold element.”

Lin Moyu had never heard of the gold element and asked in confusion, “Is it like gold?”

Antares laughed, “Yes, but not entirely. In your human race, there are many traditions, one of which divides power into five elements: gold, wood, water, fire, and earth. Gold is one of them.”

Gold, wood, water, fire, and earth—how could Lin Moyu not know?

In his previous life, he had heard this classification countless times.

In the previous world, Chinese civilization had been passed down for thousands of years, constantly describing the five elements of gold, wood, water, fire, and earth.

Gold included not only gold but all metals in the world, and it also carried the meaning of sharpness and invincibility.

Antares said, “This Goldstone is a mythical material. In deep space, you can only find things of this level.”

Antares didn’t care about such things.

Mythical materials were for super gods to use.

At Antares’ level, such things were just a scratch.

But for Lin Moyu, it was a great treasure.

The family of elemental liches would gain a new member.

Lin Moyu used the Goldstone to summon an elemental lich.

The Goldstone emitted a brilliant golden light and disappeared, and then a two-meter-tall golden elemental lich appeared before him.

It was covered in the law of the gold element, exuding a sharp aura.

It looked like a sharp sword.

**[Sharp Gold Lich]**

Grade: Low.

Growth Limit: Super God Level (Sixth Tier).

**[Law Aura (Gold)]: Grants the master and all summoned creatures a gold element law aura, increasing physical attack power by 100% and partially ignoring the target’s defense.**

This was an aura that directly increased damage, and its effect didn’t seem bad.

At this time, the Undying Lich also finished devouring, and its aura reached level 94.

But its appearance didn’t change much.

It still looked small and delicate.

**[Undying Lich]**

Grade: Low.

Growth Limit: Super God Level (First Tier).

**[Undying Aura]: Grants the master and all summoned creatures an undying aura. The aura can absorb fatal damage for the master or summoned creatures and fully restore their health. Aura cooldown: one minute.**

The aura’s attributes were both expected and somewhat surprising.

After this upgrade, the aura’s cooldown time had been reduced from 24 hours to one minute.

Considering the King of Wild Beasts’ regeneration ability, it seemed normal.

It could only be said that the King of Wild Beasts was too strong, making the Undying Lich equally powerful.

Antares sighed after hearing this, “Indeed, very good.”

Lin Moyu also felt that his survivability had increased again.

It had become even more difficult for others to kill him.

Putting away the elemental liches, Lin Moyu could feel that the spell star representing [Summon Elemental Lich] seemed to have gained something, which was the elemental liches he had retrieved.

The elemental liches no longer resided in the lich space but had entered the spell star.

Under soul sensing, these liches had turned into tiny dots, seemingly in a state of slumber, ready to be summoned at any time.

The soul once again visited the skill space, and with surplus soul power, Lin Moyu continued to move the skill star cores.

The soul power drove straight in, directly enveloping the nearest skill star core and dragging it out.

Each skill star core transformed into a spell star, significantly improving his strength, and Lin Moyu was full of anticipation.

Antares looked at Lin Moyu with a complex expression, muttering, “I feel like I’m witnessing the birth of a monster.”
