Who Made Him an Antagonist

137: Chapter 137 Luo Li, who is afraid of heightsQin Ge opened the cabin door leading to the compartment where Luo Li was staying.

As soon as the door opened, a thick, icy aura rushed towards him.

It was as if he had been transported into a world of ice and snow.

The entire cabin was suffused with an intense icy aura, and even the drinks placed on the table had completely frozen solid!

Looking at Luo Li, who was sitting on the sofa, she, who was already cold and aloof by nature, had now truly turned into a giant block of ice.

Her entire body was covered in azure ice crystals, looking like a jade beauty sculpted from ice.

Luo Li suddenly turned her head, and the layer of ice crystals covering her long, curved eyelashes fell off in a flurry as she blinked.

She looked at Qin Ge with a guilty expression and whispered, ”I am sorry. I will compensate you for the damaged items in this cabin.”

She had originally thought that accompanying Qin Ge to Eagle Country to find Duke Dracula would save a lot of trouble.

At the very least, she would be more normal than her Junior Sisters and could be of some help.

Who would have thought that before even meeting Duke Dracula,

she would cause such a mess at an altitude of ten thousand meters.

Qin Ge looked at the uneasy Luo Li and asked suspiciously, ”Is this a backlash from your Physique?”

Luo Li shook her head. ”I have never encountered any backlash from my Physique.”

With her lips, which looked increasingly bright and moist beneath the ice crystals, she said softly and embarrassedly, ”I just feel uncomfortable and distressed whenever I ride in a vehicle.”

”But this is an airplane!”

”Riding in an airplane is even worse!”

Uh—

Qin Ge looked at Luo Li, whose icy aura was rippling outward in wave after wave, and finally understood.

He had thought that Luo Li was suffering from some kind of special Physique backlash and needed a warm chest to rely on and to warm her up.

It turned out that it was just a fear of heights plus motion sickness!

Qin Ge looked at the increasingly biting cold aura and said, ”Try to distract yourself.”

Luo Li gave a slight nod and shifted her gaze to the window.

It would have been better if she hadn’t; as soon as she looked out the window at the cloudless sky and the city lights below twinkling like stars,

Boom, boom, boom—

several consecutive blasts of icy aura became even more manic and turbulent.

Even the cabin where Qin Ge was currently located was instantly permeated by the cold, and even the red wine on the table froze into ice in an instant!

”I am fine.”

Luo Li turned her head to look at Qin Ge, holding her forehead. ”You should leave. If I stay here by myself for a while, it will subside soon.”

Qin Ge sat down next to Luo Li and asked curiously, ”Weren’t you staying abroad before? How did you get here?”

Luo Li, wearing a blue palace-style long dress, shifted her position to be further away from Qin Ge, then said helplessly, ”My Revered Master took me there previously. My Revered Master can suppress the restless icy Qi within my body.”

”Then how did you come to Yunhai City? It couldn’t have been your Master who picked you up, right?”

Luo Li seemed to recall some unbearable past, a flicker of struggle passing through her eyes, but she did not hide it. ”I came to Yunhai City by boat. Riding a boat is a bit better, and when I feel very uncomfortable, I can jump into the sea and wait until I feel better before getting back on the boat.”

Upon hearing this, the image of Luo Li chasing a boat in the ocean immediately flashed through Qin Ge’s mind.

However...

Qin Ge’s gaze unscrupulously examined the increasingly graceful and alluring curves of Luo Li beneath her blue palace-style dress.

He just didn’t know whether Luo Li wore this palace-style dress, a bikini, or some other swimsuit when she swam in the sea.

Casting these thoughts aside for the moment, Qin Ge placed his hand on Luo Li’s fragrant shoulder with a righteous expression.

”What are you doing?”

Luo Li slapped Qin Ge’s hand away, knitted her brows, and questioned him with dissatisfaction.

Qin Ge pointed at the frozen drinks and the wild, swirling cold currents in the cabin, and retorted with justification, ”What am I doing? Look at this cabin! Look at what you have done to it!”

”If I don’t suppress the wild icy Qi inside you, are you planning to freeze the entire plane and swim to Eagle Country together?”

Luo Li scanned the area in the direction Qin Ge was pointing and lowered her head in shame. ”I am sorry. I misunderstood you!”

”You came over here yourself, yet you act like I am taking advantage of you!” Qin Ge rolled his eyes dramatically.

Luo Li, who was also sitting on the sofa but at least a meter away, bit her lip, endured her internal discomfort, and moved to Qin Ge’s side.

Only then did Qin Ge slowly raise his hand and place it on Luo Li’s shoulder again.

They were very close, and Luo Li was very cold.

Her entire body was exuding an icy aura.

She was truly a giant block of ice.

But Qin Ge’s current constitution was already impervious to heat and cold, so he felt absolutely no discomfort.

On the contrary, he found it refreshing and cool.

He could even smell a faint fragrance drifting from Luo Li’s body into his nostrils.

A few minutes later, Luo Li shook her head uncomfortably. ”It is not working. The restless icy Qi in my body shows no signs of being suppressed at all.”

Qin Ge suppressed a laugh.

Of course it wouldn’t work.

He hadn’t even made a move to suppress it yet!

His hand was just resting on Luo Li’s shoulder.

But pointing at the cold aura in the adjacent cabin, which had not spread any further, he said with certainty, ”Who says it is not working? Hasn’t the cold aura stopped spreading?”

Luo Li bit her lip and said with difficulty, ”That is because I am not used to being touched by your hand!”

Qin Ge immediately caught the key point. ”So, as long as I touch you, you will shift your focus, thereby alleviating the negative emotions of your fear of heights and motion sickness.”

Qin Ge moved his hand from Luo Li’s shoulder to her slender, willow-like waist that could barely be grasped. ”Then wouldn’t it work if I just touched you more?”

Luo Li slapped Qin Ge’s hand away and frowned. ”Although I am leaking cold aura, it is not enough to freeze the plane and cause it to crash!”

Rumbling—

Just at that moment, the entire fuselage began to shake violently and became bumpy.

Immediately, the voice of Qiao Yingzi, who was flying the plane in the cockpit, rang out in the cabin, saying with difficulty, ”President Qin, our plane seems to have developed some kind of fault. The engines seem to have signs of freezing. If this continues, we might have to make an emergency landing on the sea. There are no airports in the vicinity at all!”

Qin Ge sighed softly. ”Forget it, then let’s make an emergency landing. At worst, we can swim to Eagle Country together. I just don’t know how much stamina it will consume. After we get ashore, I wonder if our strength will be greatly reduced. I hope we don’t get taken out by some insignificant vampire lackey before we even see Duke Dracula!”

”...”

Qin Ge muttered, complaining.

Moral blackmail was useless against Qin Ge.

As a Great Villain, he had no morals, so who could stand on the high ground of morality and point fingers at him?

But Luo Li was different.

She was full of righteousness and incorruptible.

How could she withstand such righteous complaints?

Luo Li, who had deliberately sat further away from Qin Ge, unconsciously returned to his side once again.

She lowered her head, her cold face full of difficult torment, and the shyness in the depths of her eyes could no longer be hidden.
