On Astral Tides: From Humble Freelancer To Astral Emperor

The Right Agenda, Radio Talk show hosted by Chuck Green, Cheyenne, Wyoming, USA

“And for our next caller, we have Michael, from Rock Springs. Hello, Michael. So, just what do you think of what’s been happening in Japan lately?”

“Well, Chuck, first I’d like to say I’m a big fan.”

“Thank you, Michael. I always appreciate that.”

“Well then…” Michael’s voice crackled over the telephone, the rural network not exactly the best. “…I have to say, Chuck, I’m horrified. Firstly, the world was made by God, we shouldn’t be letting these unholy sinners reshape it as they will. It can’t bode well, if anything, I’d say the Rapture is coming, and our Lord will be back soon. False Gods, global conflict, natural disasters. They’re all clear signs of the Rapture and Armageddon.”

“That’s very interesting, Michael. It sure would be swell if the faithful, good people of America, who follow the Bible, are finally given their reward. So, you must be happy at the prospect.”

“I wouldn’t say that, Chuck.” Michael disagreed, his tone stern. “Yes, we’ll be saved, but what of those left behind? Sure, they brought it on themselves by being wicked sinners, eating up vice and depravity, forgetting that it was God who made us. But I’m not a cruel man, Chuck…”

“No, assuredly you are not, Michael. You must be a good, God-fearing fellow, salt of the earth…” His sincere, kind voice sounded pleasant to the listeners all across Wyoming.

“Of course. Go to church every week, pay my tithe, work hard, mud on my boots, calluses on my hands. I’m not like those lazy sinners, who don’t want to do their darndest to live a good, humble life. Makes me sick. Anyway, I’m worried that they’ll break the world, just like Tokyo’s broken. I couldn’t believe it at first, it doesn’t make sense, you know?”

“Mhm, do go on…” Chuck encouraged him, humming soulfully.

“I mean, I’m a farmer, Chuck. Been tilling the soil since my grandpappy’s days, as he did, learned from his own father. If my field’s an acre, it’s always going to be an acre. You can’t tell me it isn’t some occult, Devil-loving witchcraft, changing that!”

“Definitely. Far too much ungodly sin about these days, Michael, no question of that.”

“Exactly, Chuck. And I dare say this Akio fellow is worst of all. I don’t hold much with no Catholics, I mean, those sinners worship the Pope, not our lord Jesus Christ, but… they’ve got one thing right. These so-called Gods are just false idols. Devils creeping in to follow the Antichrist and set up the Day of Judgement.”

“Oh? Didn’t they say the Antichrist would be a charming man, who cares nothing about international law or decency? And… isn’t Akio a promiscuous, foreign man?”

“That’s right, Chuck. You hit the nail right on the head there, as God is my witness. I’m sick, sick to my stomach with worry. It’s clear that we don’t have long left, and while I’m as eager to go to Heaven as anyone, be rewarded for being righteous, I can’t stomach the fact that so many didn’t listen. Why don’t they listen, Chuck? It’s all spelled out, plain as day, for those with eyes to see!”

“It is indeed. Anyway, thanks for calling, Michael, and…” Chuck let out a carefully planned chuckle. “…I hope to see you after the Rapture. But not too soon, I’d hate to miss another great season from the Wranglers.”

“Amen to that, Chuck. Amen to that.” As Michael hung up, Chuck addressed the listeners.

“Wise words from a man who could be any of you. Yes, times are strange and troubling. But here in Wyoming, we won’t let the ungodly, so-called progressives, foreigners, atheists, sinners, get a foothold. We’re a good, Godfearing, hard-working State. So, do you think that the Rapture is nigh? Michael certainly did, and he’s a man that’s been tilling these lands since his grandfather’s day, you heard him. Anyway, next caller… oh, it’s Cody, from little Saratoga. Lovely quaint town. Stopped there once, great hot springs. Good afternoon, Cody. What’s on your mind when you hear about the strange events across the Pacific?”

“Hi, Chuck. Thanks for having me. And yeah, Saratoga’s a great town. Quiet, peaceful. Anyway, I’m not sure I entirely agree with Michael.”

“Oh, how so?”

“It’s just… I think it’s a bit premature to say that all of these happenings are signs of the end of days. I watched the news, I was out-of-state at the time. I’m a long-distance trucker, you see? Was all the way over in Washington. And they were talking about it, Chuck.”

“I’ll bet they were, Cody, I’ll bet they were. They like to talk and talk, do the out-of-touch politicians.”

Cody let out a slightly nervous chuckle. “Yeah, got me there, Chuck. But still… I think it’s very worrying, you know? So much is happening abroad, and now there’s the changes in Tokyo. They say it’ll spread, don’t they? I must say, my uncle’s got a farm, he’d be overjoyed if his fields expanded and he didn’t have to pay for the land. Though he’d sure bitch and moan about the extra work harvesting crops. My old uncle’s a penny-pincher, wouldn’t pay any more farmhands.”

“Work is Godly.” Chuck agreed piously. “If everyone just worked harder, America would be a more perfect country. Too many freeloaders, who think they’re entitled to the sweat off other men’s brows, if you ask me.”

“Uh, sure. I mean, I work hard, sometimes I’m driving for forty hours out of forty-eight, you know? Me on the open road, just the radio for company.”

“And I’m glad you chose The Right Agenda to accompany you. So, you were saying you’re concerned?”

“I sure am, Chuck. Think about it. We don’t much hear about any Americans with these new powers, do we? It’s all Japan this, Japan that. Oh, some about Britain too. And then those Church people. So in Europe, I guess. Well, aren’t we getting left behind? If even the world can be expanded, and magical beings can come and go… won’t countries with these powers take our jobs, get rich while we get poorer?”

“A fair point. The rest of the world’s been taking advantage of America for far too long, so our good President says. But… let me be frank, Cody…”

“Oh, sure, of course. I always want to hear your opinion, Chuck.”

“…I think you’re naïve. Deuteronomy states… let no one be found among you who sacrifices their son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, or casts spells, or who is a medium or spiritist or who consults the dead.  Anyone who does these things is detestable to the Lord; because of these same detestable practices the Lord your God will drive out those nations before you.” He rattled off the passage, which he had already procured before he opened the talk show for the day, with quiet, yet intense confidence. “I don’t think we want to open America to the ungodly. That which walks and talks like us but isn’t us… they are the Devil’s creatures. And if the outside embraces them, well, the Lord will drive them out. Don’t be seduced, young Cody. Don’t listen to those telling you that this is good, or that we should live and let live. We’re the greatest, God-fearing, Jesus-loving country on Earth, and it’s our duty to keep it that way.”

“Uh… sure.” Cody stammered.

“You wouldn’t like it if they took your job, would you, Cody? Or your uncle lost his farm? It’ll happen. It’ll happen the moment we let our guards down, and let the wicked in. What joy for your uncle if his farm is twice the size, but he ends up in Hell after he dies? Think about that, Cody. Think about that.”

“Oh. I will. Thanks… I… have to go now.”

“It was a pleasure. Don’t be misled. It’s easy to listen to those who don’t have our best interests at heart, who don’t listen to the Lord. Anyway, we’ll soon have our next caller, but… Cody. I can tell he’s a good, hardworking young man, but… that’s exactly why he needs to stand strong against beguilement. The fruits of sin are tasty. Power, wicked power, it worms its way in. But here in Wyoming, in America, we’re far too strong to fall for such nonsense. The Lord is our shield, faith protects us. Don’t let our fellow men be seduced down the wrong path like Cody.”

He paused to let that sink in. “Now then, next up we have… oh, a Pastor. I daresay he has a wise opinion on such matters as what’s going on in the world right now. Pastor Jerimiah, thank you for calling.”

“No, thank you.” Jerimiah’s voice was rich and melodious, a man used to speaking. “Your words are an inspiration. And you tried to steer young Cody back to the righteous path.”

“I do my best.” Chuck preened. “So, what do you think of the current news?”

“You made one small mistake. The expansion of the world is only natural, as it reaches a more perfect state, ready to ascend to Heaven. The Rapture is indeed coming, where the souls of all the Godly shall be saved. But the Earth should be saved too, as it is a cradle God set us upon, to grow, to be tested.”

“I see. That’s an interesting viewpoint, Pastor. But what of Japan, then?”

“You have the right of it. This Akio Oshiro is not a Godly man. He consorts with false creatures, those not within God’s plan, and indeed seduces those with weak minds away from the true way. He surely has to be reviled and condemned. But those with faith should welcome Earth nearing perfection. The time is coming, and those of us alive are truly blessed for we shall see the brilliant light of Heaven in our lifetime. Or…” he paused meaningfully. “… the fiery depths of Hell.”

“Amen to that.” Chuck approved. “So, you sound a learned man, Pastor. Just what are those wicked creatures in Japan and around the world?”

“Mockeries of men. To be reviled, although… God is kind. Should they repent sincerely, they perhaps can still be saved. No, do not fear those across the seas who dabble with wickedness, for the Lord shall judge, and he shall not hesitate to empower the righteous. No, instead, we should fear the snakes within our bosom. Those who have no faith, those who worship false idols, those enraptured by the poison of sin and blasphemy. They are the true threats. Those who believe will be saved, but those who hinder the Lord and his works… Hell always has room for sinners!”

“Powerful and true words, Pastor Jerimiah. Powerful words indeed. I agree. Think of Michael, and his hardworking family. Cody’s uncle, a simple man. The callers before, and those afterwards. The men and women of your town, who you see at church every Sunday, those who pitch in to help out in a crisis, those who are justifiably afraid of the wicked who come bearing favours which cost a great deal, treachery wrapped up in kindness.”

“Indeed.” Pastor Jerimiah agreed. “You have the gift of the Lord’s wisdom, and a tongue to speak it. I have an… offer… to extend to you.”

“Oh, do tell. Though I’m not a greedy man, so don’t feel you have to donate to the station, or me.”

“Oh, it’s not that sort of gift. My mission, you see, will be coming to Cheyenne soon. And I would very much to meet you and pray with you. I think you would find it comforting.”

“I’m always eager to show my piety. After all, all we in Wyoming have is due to our hard work, and the Lord’s bounty. Sounds wonderful. Give my station a call and we’ll arrange some live coverage.”

“Magnificent. And let me say one final thing.” Pastor Jerimiah spoke solemnly. “Do not be seduced. What is happening around the world may seem fantastical, exciting, transformational… but the only truth is that the Lord is the way. Let your eyes look straight ahead; fix your gaze directly before you. Give careful thought to the paths for your feet and be steadfast in all your ways. Do not turn to the right or the left; keep your foot from evil. Do not be led astray, off the path. For when one leaves the path, it is far too late to turn back. All that will surround you is darkness, until you see the light, and… it will be the searing flames of Hellfire!”

“Powerful words. Thank you, Pastor Jerimiah. Do call the station and I’ll spread the word. I’m sure Cheyenne’s faithful will turn out in force to raise money and do good works. We’ll not be led astray by propaganda from foreign lands. Now then… oh, we have a new caller, Susan, from Boulder. Hello, Susan. What do you think of what Pastor Jerimiah preached?”

“Good afternoon, Chuck. I’m a huge fan. First time caller, long time listener. Pastor Jerimiah was an inspiration, as you are, doing God’s work. I’m worried for our future. Here in Boulder, we’ve got those who are excited by all the depravity and sin going on over in Japan. Marriage is between one man and one woman, that’s it, so that adulterous snake…”

19 @ That place is gorgeous. Looks really expensive. What’s it called again?

20 @ The Tengokusentou, @20. It’s in the title of the video. I’ve looked it up and it’s a super high-class hotel.

21 @CutiePie19 It’s also where that terrorist attack happened not that long ago. But this seems to be a new building.

22 @ Yeah. Anyway, it’s not the sort of hotel you can just book up on a trip, you need a referral, or to be the right sort of person. It’s exclusive, if you know what I mean. You can’t just go to a booking website and find it.

23 @ How snobby. You won’t make money like that.

24 @ I don’t think that’s the point, not at all. Anyway, I’ve already seen the BBC broadcast, so keep watching. This gets crazy.

Comment deleted by moderation.

26 @ No need for that, @25. Most people like to get their news with a little… colour commentary.

27@CutiePie19 That’s right. It’s almost like we’ve got a little community going here now, it’s nice and friendly!

28 @ Didn’t you say you were at university, @CutiePie19? Shouldn’t you be getting your community there?

29 @CutiePie19 Guilty as charged, @28. Even so, this is a fun tradition now.

30 @DreamingQueen Indeed it is. And I am here to add to my list. Honestly, it’s a bit exciting. Like keeping track of celebrities, just if those celebrities were beautiful women.

31 @CutiePie19 Oh hey, @DreamingQueen, good to see you! Isn’t this place beautiful?

32 @ I think you’ll find a lot of celebrities are beautiful women, @DreamingQueen…

35 @ Tch. Jackasses who can’t be polite when they see a woman in chat or on screen.

36 @ Holy shit. Real life Yōkai. Crazy!

37 @CutiePie19 I don’t think it’s that crazy anymore. We already know Shaeula, don’t we? But isn’t it amazing? Is that a Giant? He must be ten metres tall or more!

38 @ He’s in some sort of monk robes. Buddhist, maybe? So he’s probably Japanese…

39@GamzeeMakara ReLaX aNd ChIlL, eVeRyOnE. dRiNk A fAyGo AnD tAkE a LoAd OfF. I ChEcKeD oNlInE aNd He Is PrObAbLy A dAiDaRaBoTcHi… LoOkS a ChIlL dUdE tOo…

40 @ It’s another repeat chatter. Looks like everyone’s filtering in…

41 @ Yeah, nobody wants to miss this. It’s going to be hot news, after all…

42 @DreamingQueen Welcome back @GamzeeMakara but do you have to keep typing like that? It gives me such a headache to read…

43 @ He’s committed to the gag, that’s for sure…

44 @GamzeeMakara YeS, rElAx LiTtLe DrEaMeR. jUsT gO wItH tHe FlOw AnD eNjoY tHe ShOw!

45 @DreamingQueen fine. But I don’t care about the… Daidarabotchi, did you say? Odd name. What interests me is that woman with the black hair and red eyes. Didn’t Akio just call her a heavenly maiden? She’s certainly gorgeous enough. I wonder if they’re in a relationship?

46 @CutiePie19 Still working on your list, @DreamingQueen? Everyone always jokes they want to steal it, if it has pictures. Men can be pigs, sometimes…

51 @CutiePie19 A case in point. Be nice everyone! And good job mods. Hey… have you noticed that this channel seems to get a lot of moderator attention?

52 @ChaosEngine It stands to reason. Nobody wants to offend those they shouldn’t, and while the internet offers a degree of anonymity, with seemingly magical powers in the world now, who can say if it’s possible to use one to find out who posted slander and filth? Icertainly wouldn’t chance it…

53 @ Yep, here’s @ChaosEngine the prepper king. Now all we need is the thundercock to burst in…

54 @ Don’t diss the King Of The Gods, Master Of Mount Olympus…

55 @ Lol @54, you’re him, right? Being undercover…

56 @ChaosEngine can we focus on what matters here? Remember what I talked about last time? The training school and aptitude? There is one website you should always be checking. Here. www.en.spiritual.ministry.go.jp. It’s the English mirror for their Japanese Ministry. On it you can find a lot of extremely interesting information. Anyway, let’s keep watching…

57 @ I’m watching that Tennyo… gorgeous!

58 @DreamingQueen As am I, yet… much as it pains me to say, there is more to life than beautiful women…

59 @ Oh yeah, whatever happened to goddessesgrabbed.com? When I went to check, for… academic purposes, it was a 404…

60 @ I wonder if @DreamingQueen is worried she’ll get 404’d as well… or maybe deep 6’d…

61 @ Hahahahahahaha…

Comment deleted by moderation.

63 @DreamingQueen I assure you, I am simply collecting information for noble purposes. There is nothing lewd or salacious about my files. I did find a lot of information from WTW scheduling, which you can watch on BBC digital channels very frequently now. Something’s going on there…

64 @GrumpyOldMan Whoa, that’s the sister, right? She’s super cute. Just my type…

65 @CutiePie19 Isn’t she a bit young for you, @GrumpyOldMan? Don’t get me wrong, she’s gorgeous…

66 @ Listening to @DreamingQueen and @ChaosEngine, I had been watching WTV programming. And I know that she could be called CutiePie18, and soon she’ll be 19. So it’s all good…

67 @GrumpyOldMan See @CutiePie19, still street legal. Besides, I wasn’t hitting on her, just saying sporty, pretty girls are my type. And she can summon magical golden warriors, can’t she? Although…

68 @ Yeah. Although…

69 @AngelusMaximus She is a filthy woman, who stole what does not belong to her.

73 @ Wow, no need for such vitriol. I remember that broadcast from Japan, where that man who lost his son claimed she stole his magical powers, but… wow, calling her the ‘w’ word and saying she’d burn is evil…

74 @ So glad @AngelusMaximus got banned. Bring back @KingOfOlympus, at least he’s amusing… if way too committed to the bit, like @GamzeeMakara…

75 @GamzeeMakara FuCk, I aM cAtChInG sTrAyS hErE…

76 @ Princess Eleanor mentioned! I’m definitely suspicious…

77 @DreamingQueen As am I. I suspect we’ll find out more at New Year’s Honours. I have a file already full… hmm, those two girls over there. One’s very young… sisters? I wonder who they are…

78 @ChaosEngine Again, with the wrong things. I miss @Niko.Truthseekers.com, he’s not been updating his website. Last I heard he was in Norway… anyway, here. Tokyofootage.jpg can you see the tree they are talking about? That’s not all…

79 @ Wow, I’d heard of that. Crazy…

80 @ That’s one huge tree

81 @ I want to climb it… look, there are steps… is that… some sort of terrace on top? Wouldn’t it be super windy?

82 @ How does that even work?

83 @ChaosEngine Forget the tree… no, rather, don’t, but again, check the website listed. There’s a wealth of information. What’s more interesting are the warnings of spatial expansion… I find it hard to picture, but…

84 @ABritAbroad Oh, @ChaosEngine, I’m an ex-pat working in Tokyo at the moment. I’ve seen it with my own eyes. It’s… madness, honestly. My commute to work has actually grown longer…

85 @ Traffic, huh @ABritAbroad?

86 @ Makes sense. Everyone would be driving out to see that tree…

87 @ABritAbroad You don’t know the half of it. I mean literally. Most people take the subway to work anyway, but I prefer to drive. I stubbornly did in London, of course I’ll do it in Tokyo too… but my commute is longer as the major road I have to drive down is actually longer now. It was a two-and-a-half-mile drive, now it’s actually a little over three miles, the exact same route. Yet… I still get to work quicker, even if it takes me longer. Time… time’s gone crazy…

88 @ I call bullshit on that, @ABritAbroad

89 @GamzeeMakara HeY nOW, lEt A mAn SpEaK…

90 @ChaosEngine He’s right. It’s all here in black and white on the website. Spatial expansion, time acceleration, and potential access to the spiritual world. The website makes it clear. And this is an official Japanese governmental department and its website. It’s not a joke…

91 @ Whoa, utterly crazy. How does that even work?

Comment deleted by moderation.

93 @ No need for that, @92. Keep it classy…

94 @CutiePie19 It’s like the old tales of Fairy Rings and Mounds, yeah?

95 @ I wouldn’t let anyone bar-bar my way to ringing a certain fairy and investigating her mounds…

98 @ I guess some people don’t listen to @ChaosEngine. Best keep it to innuendo, like @95. Being actually creepy won’t go well for you…

99 @DreamingQueen I do wish to see this other world someday.

100 @ChaosEngine If you live near a major capital city, you might just get your wish, @DreamingQueen. Tokyo’s the first, I expect others to follow where they lead. But I wouldn’t be careless. Safety first. Venturing into unknown lands unprepared carries many dangers. There are lists on the website of actions to take. And possible hazards. But again, this ties into the possibility of being trained to access these abilities. It’s what the Pilgrimage is supposedly about…

101 @ Forget that! Real Gods!

102 @ Been living under a rock, have you @101? We’ve seen Hachiman, or Emperor Ōjin, as they’ve sometimes called him… before, during the broadcast at the Imperial Palace

103 @ Yeah, @102. Besides, we all know our own God. @KingOfOlympus, where are you? letting these upstarts take the stage…

104 @ Emperor Ōjin is supposedly more than 1800 years old… I wish I could live that long

105 @CutiePie19 Me too, so long as I can stay cute. Hey, I wonder how old Shaeula is?

106 @DreamingQueen A dangerous question, dear @CutiePie19. You can boast as you’re still young, but… well, a woman should always be eighteen in her heart…

109 @ It does make me wonder, why are so few Gods revealing themselves? Where there’s one, there are always more…

110 @ Hah, do you think Gods are like rats and cockroaches then, @109, see one, ten nearby?

111 @ChaosEngine I am sure there are reasons. From a pragmatic standpoint, it seems extremely unlikely that all the Gods are paying attention, or from, our one planet. But while this is interesting, you should be all more focussed on the effects in Tokyo. Without seeing it myself I can’t be certain, but this should have a huge knock-on impact on GPS, the internet, phone and TV signals and much, much more… it makes some of my prior survival advice a little obsolete, but I’ll work out solutions soon…

112 @ As always, @ChaosEngine with the preppy prepper potency…

113 @ Hey, @112, nice alliteration…

… … …

692 @ Chat is buzzing today

693 @ Why wouldn’t it be, @692 this is crazy stuff…

694 @ Oh shit, Akio takes the stage! What’s he going to say?

695@CutiePie19 He really does cut a dashing figure…

696 @ Noooooooooo! Don’t you start falling for him too, @CutiePie19, I hate that the rich get richer and we poor starve, devoid of women!

697 @ Wow, incel alert @696…

698 @ I don’t blame her. I think he’s hot too, and I’m a man!

699 @CutiePie19 Don’t cry, everyone. I’m cute, but I’m a little intimidated by Shaeula and the others. Besides, he’s a long way away from me, in both distance and life…

700 @ He talks a damn good speech. What does he mean, to ‘find favour from the Kami?’

701 @ Yeah, I was wondering that too…

702 @ Me too. Like… how Hachiman did, giving his blessing to marry Princess Mikasa?

Comment deleted by moderation.

704 @ Damn, no need for such profanity. Besides, I don’t think you can simply screw a Goddess, if that’s what the Kami are. I’m sure not even Akio can do that…

705 @ChaosEngine Once more, I despair. Again, check the website. It details the Pilgrimage route and the relevant Kami of each shrine, and the best offerings. If one has faith, they say, then that can be rewarded. I expect that just like visiting Mecca, or the Camino de Santiago, or the Wailing Wall, this route will soon be an important international event.

706 @ Those shrines and temples are going to rake in the offering money…

707 @ Yeah, no religious organisations are ever poor.

708 @ So if that place is Heaven, then does that make the stairs we can see a stairway to Heaven?

709 @ There’s a lady who’s sure all that glitters is gold… and she’s buying a stairway to Heaven…

710 @ Nice @709, a bit of the Led Zeppelin…

711 @DreamingQueen The women we can see around the site sure do seem golden to me…

712 @ Trust you to know what matters, @DreamingQueen, there are more beauties every time he’s on TV… I don’t even care whether they are human or not…

Comment deleted by moderation.

714 @ No kidding, if non-humans are pretty women, I’d even go for a Lamia, a Mermaid, or a Dragon…

Comment deleted by moderation.

716 @ He’s talking about it being public. @ChaosEngine was right. As usual…

717 @ I feel bad about it. My mother’s a super devout Christian, all this talk of other Gods and creatures makes her feel the world is going to Hell. Everyone’s a sinner, she says…

718 @ Ouch, @717. That’s rough. I mean, I’m a Catholic, but I don’t think we need to go back to the Inquisition days or burn witches. I mean, they were just poor, lonely old women, am I right?

719 @ You never know, @718. The world’s a strange place…

720@DreamingQueen Yes, because of course a witch would let a bunch of idiot peasants burn her at the stake if she had evil powers…

721 @ Can’t argue with that logic…

722 @ Yep, cast-iron argument there…

723 @ConfusedDenier I’m an atheist. Uh… no, that doesn’t make sense, does it? I’m looking at a God on the video…

724 @ Akio’s my God! Or no, maybe he’s my Devil! I wish I could have even one beauty like he does…

Comment deleted by moderation.

726 @ConfusedDenier If Gods are a matter of certified fact, but I don’t want to worship them… what the hell would I be called?

727 @ Good question, @ConfusedDenier…

728 @ If a Goddess is hot enough, I’ll worship at her feet for sure…

729 @ Is a God even really a God? Like the Japanese call a lot of them Kami… maybe we should coin a phrase…

730 @Planescaper The Lady of Pain would not be pleased. She’d maze them all… anyway, I suggest, @ConfusedDenier, that we call them Powers. As basically they’re only a lot more knowledgeable and stronger than we humans. That way we can respect them but not worship them. Maybe you could be called an objector rather than an atheist, since you don’t want to give them any praise or worship, but acknowledge what you see before your eyes, like all rational people…

731 @ A journey of self-improvement, huh? I like it…

732 @ I just feel guilty when he talks about the terror attacks. It was horrible, but my dear old mom, she’s Irish, and does the old ‘I don’t condone it, but I can see why they’d do it…’ spiel.

733 @ Mine too, @732. The world should have moved on, we’re not in the bad old days anymore…

734 @ Yeah, the old Troubles playbook. I’d thought that was fading out.

735 @ Yeah, you’d think everyone would listen to the Pope. He condemned the attacks…

736 @CutiePie19 I like the message. He doesn’t shy away from how difficult it is to come together, but… he’s right. I don’t want to see dead children or be a slave to faith…

737 @ Nobody does, @CutiePie19. I’m a father, if my little ones were caught up in such an attack, I’d go insane…

738 @ They would be welcomed in Heaven though. It would be sorrowful, but did not God command Abraham to take Isaac to Mount Moriah…?

739 @ Oh, looks like we’ve got a believer in Revelation here. If you like Heaven so much, do us all a favour and send yourself there, @738.

740 @ Yeah, I don’t believe in a grand plan where kids are collateral damage. That’s no plan at all, simply evil…

741@ChaosEngine A choice, huh? Akio’s right, everyone has to pick a side. There might be more than two, though. Overall, a decent speech. I follow logic and rationality. And we’ve made progress by science and reason, rather than blind faith…

742 @ Oh look, it’s the Emperor. He’s going to speak…

743 @ I don’t like him. He’s arrogant…

744 @ At least he’s not the Prince.

745 @ Princess Mikasa’s looking very cute today. @DreamingQueen, care to share your files on her?

746 @DreamingQueen No, I think I’ll pass for now… but since the engagement I have been keeping track of her exploits. For a Princess, she’s very low-key though, so finding much out has been difficult…

747 @ I think this is unplanned. Akio and the others seem shocked…

748 @ Not a good move. After last time, I’d say a rehearsal and running it past some unbiased people would make more sense…

749 @ Bigging up Hachiman again. There’s only one Hachiman I care about, and that’s Hikigaya…

750 @ Uh?

751 @ Wow, nerd much, @749? Besides, compared to Akio who actually gets girls, that Hachiman sucks…

752 @ Google it @750 … or don’t, it’s not really worth it…

753 @GamzeeMakara ChIlL, mY dUDeS. iT mAkEs SeNsE sInCe He Is SuPpOsEd To Be PaRt Of ThEiR fAmIlY…

754 @ Why is it our over-dedicated troll here gets it…?

755 @ The big giant… Daidarabotchi… is talking? He’s… oddly well-spoken…

756 @ The camera followed the Emperor’s gaze. That woman was a knockout. Impossibly beautiful…

757 @ Yeah, @756 she has the same hair and eyes as that Tennyo. Is she another like her? But she’s with Akio’s group… @DreamingQueen…

758 @DreamingQueen I’m sure she’s one of Akio’s girlfriends, but data on her is near-non-existent…

759 @ChaosEngine Sometimes I wonder if I’m speaking to the air. Check. The. Website. Special advisor to the Ministry, Tsukiko Matsumuro. And yes, it lists her as in a relationship with Akio, who is also down as a special advisor.

760 @DreamingQueen Fascinating. Thank you again, @ChaosEngine. I’ll check the site thoroughly later…

763 @ There are so many odd creatures. Ogres… Oni, I guess, if they’re Japanese… and that’s a Tengu, and… is that a nine-tailed fox? Where are ninjas when we need them?

764 @ Nerd alert. Nerd alert. They’re coming out of the woodwork…

765 @ I’m happy to be called a nerd. But if the nine-tailed fox looked like her, I wouldn’t mind her being sealed inside me… no wait, I’d like to be inside her, if you know what I mean?

766 @CutiePie19 Eww… creeper. I’m amazed the mods let that one pass…

767 @ Hush now, it’s getting interesting…

768 @ Yeah, the Giant is a Buddhist. What a world…

769 @ Paradox of tolerance. I like it. Akio’s honest about his faults.

770 @ Womanizing is his biggest one!

771 @ Amen to that, @770

772 @ It’s going off script. I knew the Emperor should have rehearsed!

773@CutiePie19 Hey, it’s sword girl again. She’s as cute as ever. How anyone could want to treat her like an object. What a bastard…

774 @ Should a @CutiePie19 be using such language? I admit that he is a bastard though…

775 @ Cute loli alert. She’d look great in school uniform carrying a little red backpack!

776 @ Mods, check @775’s hard drive. I suspect he’d be more than banned afterwards…

777 @ Oh, I’m lucky triple seven. Anyway, Princess Mikasa is calming things down. She’s not gorgeous, but she’s sure got that hot girl-next-door vibe…

778 @ You’ll need the luck. Isn’t that like Lèse-majesté, @777? I agree though. The sort of woman that’s a guy’s secret crush…

779 @ I think she’d make a better Empress than her idiot older brother…

780 @ Now that’s Lèse-majesté!

… … …

1134 @ Holy shit! The Princess is raking her brother over the coals. And she’s being adorable doing it. Akio looks super happy…

1135 @ I would be too, if a Princess was grabbing my arm.

1136@ChaosEngine It’s a classic Morton’s fork. He’s damned either way. If he accepts, he looks terribly selfish, if he doesn’t, well, his popularity will continue to plummet, while Princess Mikasa’s can only rise. It’s cold, but… his attitude still stinks.

1137 @DreamingQueen Indeed. For a future Emperor, one would think he would be more… regal.

1138 @ConfusedDenier All this talk of Gods is a little annoying, but we’ve seen the footage of the sword girl and the storm she cut. I can see why she’s seen as the symbol of Imperial authority. And… while I think the Divine Right of Kings a load of shit… I can’t deny this is a potent symbol…

1139 @ Hot sword sisters alert! Though shouldn’t they be mirror and jewel sisters maybe? Anyway, poor Prince Gorohito got double rejected… if I was him, I’d become a shut-in…

1140 @ Hah, I bet you are anyway, @1139

1141 @ Guilty as charged…

1142 @ You go, queen, slay, slay!

1143 @ Yes, she’s on the warpath, spitting fire and facts

1144 @ Is it me or does she look way hotter when angry?

1145 @ Totally agree, @1145. My Akio hatred grows by the moment…

1146 @DreamingQueen Princess Kaoruko is her cousin, and she is also quite feisty, it seems…

… … …

1291 @ Wow, we’ve devolved into talk of boring laws. Who cares about all those details…?

1292 @ChaosEngine This is obviously a prelude to something. Watch and wait and be prepared. I think… something is shifting here…

1293 @ Trust the prepper to be paranoid…

1294 @Planescaper You don’t think… no, no, it couldn’t be…

1295 @ ???

1296 @ Yeah, don’t be a dick. If you have something to say, say it…

Comment deleted by moderation.

1298 @ Yeah, say it!

1299 @Planescaper Fine then. Sounds to me like there’s about to be a change of succession…

1300 @ What? @Planescaper no way. Japan’s way too hidebound and male-dominated for that.

1301 @ Even if Prince Gorohito’s a little bitch…

1302 @ Yep, @1301, even so…

… … …

1401 @ Oh, Looks like Akio’s like @ConfusedDenier… really letting the Gods have it. Needs to be worthy of her… sick burn…

1402 @ Hey, @ChaosEngine was right. Tsukiko Matsumuro, like he said. Up close, she’s even more beautiful. You’d think she was fake…

1403 @ I can’t believe @KingOfOlympus is missing this…

1404 @ Abdication. Fuck me, here it comes. Looks like @Planescaper wasn’t wrong…

… … …

1496 @ Empress Of Heaven? Not sure whether that’s a good thing of a copout…

1497 @ Copout, definitely, @1496. The Patriarchy wins again. How does that make you feel, @DreamingQueen, @CutiePie19?

1498 @ Lol! Roflmao!

1499 @CutiePie19 I don’t know. Seems pretty cool to me? And she might not want to steal from her brother?

1500 @ Speaking of the brother, he’s pissed off, isn’t he?

1501 @ This is impossible. You can’t do this! Lol, what a little bitch boy…

1502 @DreamingQueen Yes, the Lèse-majesté is being simply hurled around here, isn’t it? As a Queen myself, I disapprove. As a woman… I don’t see why thrones have to pass down the male line only. We women are as good as men.

1503 @ GIRL, sure. We all know the acronym…

1510 @ Wow, people are getting pissed. Mods working overtime…

1511 @Planescaper He’s dragging Akio’s sister into the mess too. A bit of a low move, but… he’s been caught in the Morton’s fork from earlier. He’s coming around, or at least putting on an outward show of such…

1512 @ Wow, did you see that? Princess Mikasa threatened Hachiman! Gives me chills…

1513 @ Unity, huh? Let’s do a poll. Who thinks that her and her brother will get on and peacefully share the throne? I say nay…

1514 @ Nay!

1515 @ Yay.

1516 @ Nay...

1517 @ Nope…

… … …

1601 @ There we have it. Thirty-two nays, eight yays. There might be trouble in paradise…

1602 @ Seems like it’s all over though. I’d give Akio the win as speeches go…

1603 @ Oh, no, now we have two kimono-clad beauties coming into view…

1604 @ Come on man, one of them is just a kid. Check his hard drive, someone!

1605 @ Looks like we’re finally going up the stairs. This should be interesting…

1606 @ It’s gorgeous. So, if we look at the map from the website that @ChaosEngine gave us…

1607 @ChaosEngine Yes, Shirohebizumi Shrine, then Hisuikomushi… it follows their Pilgrimage route, a route anyone can follow. But despite the fact they have put out a lot of information, there’s far more that can be gleaned from this. Knowledge is power.

1608 @ Oh really? Do enlighten us as always, @ChaosEngine

1609 @ Wow, such sarcasm…

1610@ChaosEngine I will. See up above, that stained glass? Those winged figures. They aren’t Angels, that’s for sure. Valkyries, I’d guess. The statues too. Some of them correspond to shrines down below, but others… see that woman?

1611 @ Sure do. Even as a statue she’s stunning. Her cold eyes… the sculptor did a fantastic job for sure…

1612 @ChaosEngine She’s surely important. But note a few details. How she seems rather familiar in appearance to someone here, and also her hair…

1613 @DreamingQueen Oh I get it. She seems very similar to Himeko Shiratori, who we can’t find much information on. And that fiery hair… just like at the London press conference…

1614 @ Lol, @DreamingQueen has great eyes… only when it comes to perving on women. She’s either a guy or bats for the other team for sure…

1615 @ Hey, don’t be rude, @1615…

Comment deleted by moderation.

1617 @ Up on the ceiling, that’s Amaterasu and Tsukuyomi, right? The Sun and Moon that the Imperial children were arguing about earlier. It does seem a very Japanese display, as expected, but… why Valkyries too? That Himeko statue doesn’t fit either…

1618 @ I think it makes sense, @1617, if you think about it. Akio namedropped a number of Gods and Goddesses earlier and in the past. Tyr is Norse… Chang’e… never heard of her, but sounds Chinese, maybe? Seems like we have a religious ecumenicist here…

1619 @ Ecumenicist? Someone’s showing off…

1620 @ Or has an online dictionary!

1621 @ABritAbroad I’ve picked up a few bits and pieces here and there. And I’m now an avid watcher of WTV. They do excellent dubs in English too and are starting to add other languages. The Chosen, as Akio, Princess Mikasa and others are, all have a patron God. And just because you’re Japanese doesn’t mean you’ll get a Japanese God…

1622 @ I don’t get it. Why is it we can look up Gods on the internet or in history books? It doesn’t make a lot of sense…

1623 @GamzeeMakara UsE yOuR bRaIn-PaN aNd ThInK a MoMeNt. It Is OvIoUs ThAt ThE hIStOrY wE kNoW iS lUsUs ShIt. BuT wHy WoRrY? gRaB a FaYgO aNd EnJoY tHe ShOw.

1625 @ He’s right. Though I wish he’d type like a human being.

1626 @ I wish I was chosen by a God.

1627 @ I wish I was chosen by a Goddess…

1628 @ I wish I was chosen by Himeko Shiratori

1629 @ I wish I was chosen by Tsukiko Matsumuro

1630 @ Well, I wish I was chosen by Princess Mikasa!

1631 @ Alas, @1625 that’s his style, and he claims to not be human anyway… he’s usually pretty chill though, unlike some…

1632@CutiePie19 All right, everyone knock it off. You just seem lame anyway. They all chose Akio. I don’t think I’d want to be a Gods’ Chosen anyway… far too dangerous.

Comment deleted by moderation.

1634 @ Looks like @1630 has a Princess fetish. Alas you’re out of luck. There are only so many Princesses worldwide to go around, and Akio’s buying them out of stock…

Comment deleted by moderation.

1636 @ Yeah, @1630, dream on…

1637 @ChaosEngine Indeed, @CutiePie19 there is a great deal of danger, but the greatest danger is being unprepared. Even a young child can defeat a full-grown adult, if armed with a gun…

1638 @ Damn, this guy’s got to be American. No guns here, especially not with kids…

1639 @ He’s not wrong though. Firepower, firepower, firepower. Three keys to success in any RTS or FPS!

1640 @ Oh, the cute little one in the kimono is stepping up to speak…

1641 @ Adorable. Looks like my daughter. Just she’s not that cute…

1642 @ Wow, bad parent of the year award goes to @ChaosEngine for giving his kiddywinks an assault rifle, but runner up is @1641 for giving his daughter a complex about being an uggo…

1643 @ Pervert alert. Mods, go after @1640…

1644 @ChaosEngine Honestly, you guys are mostly idiots. There is so much information on this broadcast, the website, other WTV articles, and you choose to remain ignorant, or simply fantasise about beautiful women. Trust me. Stockpile resources, make sure you are armed… as best as your country allows… and learn. I intend to. Though I believe I shall be paying Japan a visit, to see for myself what this Pilgrimage can do…

1645 @ Going all in, huh?

1646 @ Shush! Little cutie is talking. Runes, huh? And they can do what?

Comment deleted by moderation.

1648 @ A spiritual language which can shape reality? I’d call bullshit, except we’ve got nine-tailed foxes, and ten-metre-tall Giants, and Gods, and everything else…

1649 @ I’m a lecturer in classical languages at Oxford. You know… that looks a lot like Elder Futhark. I can read and speak it fluently…

1650 @ CutiePie19 But have you ever warped reality with it, @1649?

1651 @ Yeah, go on, make Oxford win the Boat Race if you can…

1652 @ Hey, it only rewrites reality, doesn’t make miracles @1651. Such a shame.

1653@ChaosEngine This is just proving my point. They want information out there, to acclimatise us. I’ve got my ear to the ground, and I mentioned medicine before. Rumour is that a factory will be set up soon for magical potions. That’s the sort of things you should be worrying about, not pretty women.

1654 @ChaosEngine But just because you know how to speak English, doesn’t mean you can code, for example. Even if you know what the words mean, without the knowledge you can’t make a computer do anything. I expect this is the same. There would have to be some magic to it. Even so… I’m taking a copy of this video and studying online. Runes…

1655 @ Runes are cool and all, but what about more ordinary magic?

1656 @ Yeah, oh, lecture over. A shame. Oh, no, it’s not terrible. Now her big sister is stepping up. She’s beautiful and well-endowed…

1657 @ And at best eighteen or nineteen. Don’t be a creeper…

1658 @ Hey, you don’t know how old he is… he might be a young man too!

1659 @ Hey, the Ministry website has tons of information, @ChaosEngine was right.

1700 @DreamingQueen Well I for one found this rather interesting. And I’ve filled out my list with more information. Oh, to be a fly on the wall in Akio’s bedroom. I am sure sapphic joy fills the air with a pink scent. There can be no way he satisfies them all alone…

1701 @CutiePie19 Hey, do you think we’ll get an announcement like this at New Year’s Honours @DreamingQueen? Will Princess Eleanor finally declare her love? I’m excited…

1702 @ Boo! Boo! Wealth inequality needs the guillotine to resolve

1702 @ Oh, a talk on Kami, interesting…

1703 @ Look, its little sword girl, she’s half asleep, how adorable…

1704 @DreamingQueen You really are a cutie, @CutiePie19. We shall have to wait and see, but from my research, and the evidence of the witness testimonies from Christmas Eve… I’d say… it’s likely.

1705 @ Enough, @DreamingQueen, @CutiePie19, don’t make us men feel bad.

1706 @ Though hey, at least we’re hanging out on the livestream with cute women…

1707 @ Pics or won’t believe they aren’t men!

1708 @ You know, I’ve learned a lot today…

1709 @ I’ve learned how much I envy Akio, @1709…

1710 @ Yes, me too.

1711 @ Yes, me three.

1712 @ Yeah, me four…

1713 @GamzeeMakara Oh No, NoT tHiS aGaIn…

Télématin Morning Newsflash, Paris, France

“Bonjour. It’s six-thirty am, and here is the morning news.” Sophia smiled professionally. She had been presenting on the channel for over twenty years now, and she had considered quitting towards the end of the year, but with the news being what it was, she was determined to stay on.

“Last night, in Japan, a shocking event occurred. The end of the so-named Pilgrimage concluded with the planned abdication of the Emperor of Japan, Akihito. This development was not entirely unexpected, as rumour was Emperor Akihito had been planning to hand down the Chrysanthemum Throne for some time, and had intimated that Prince Ayahito would also stand aside, for Prince Gorohito, the Emperor’s direct grandson. What was a shock, however, was that after a tempestuous unplanned speech, in which the Imperial Family argued with their own Princess Mikasa, and Akio Oshiro, the Emperor announced a dual Imperial system, against all precedent.”

Sophie paused for breath. “Of course, the old Insei system was cited, but it hardly fits the nature of what was announced. The Imperial authority would be split in two, with Prince Gorohito becoming Tenno Heika Chikyū…” She pronounced the Japanese a little clumsily. “…and having secular authority such as the Emperor possesses now, which is to say… not a great deal. The Imperial Family has been largely ceremonial since the end of the Second World War, though sentiment is shifting in these troubling times. While Princess Mikasa, his direct granddaughter, would also share the throne, responsible for so-called spiritual matters. Josei Tennō Tengoku.”

Once more she stumbled over the words a little.

“Now this is a shocking turn for several reasons, not least of all a patriarchal society such as Japan offering a position of power to a woman, against all tradition, but that it also gives her fiancée, Akio Moonstone Oshiro, a man who needs no introduction, a clear route to power.”

Glancing at the teleprompter, she continued reading. “Some would say, after the Imperial Regalia publicly denied Prince Gorohito, again, at the ceremony, it is only fitting for Princess Mikasa to take such a role, but it is unlikely to find favour with the older, more conservative Japanese, even if the younger generation is more accepting.”

Shaking her head minutely, almost forgetting she was live for a moment, she continued professionally. “In addition, the Japanese government has published full details of their Pilgrimage, and potential stated benefits, and encourages those in Japan and indeed worldwide, to come and follow the route, offering prayers and piety to the Japanese Gods, or the Kami, as they are called. Here in France, reaction to this has been very mixed, with much of the population either of Catholic or Muslim persuasion, who call these Kami false, or secular agnostics, who show some interest in the outcomes, though it is too soon to tell whether the Japanese will be successful in attracting pilgrims, such as Lourdes does here in France.”

Smiling at the camera professionally, she finished her headline report. “While many worldwide are watching curiously, and eagerly poring over the revealed information, and the changes in Japan cause some trepidation, other voices have spoken out. The Archbishop of Marseille has called for calm and conciliation, and for the public not to fear or persecute these Béni par Dieu, the Blessed of God, as the government has dubbed them, but has also called for them to refrain from using their new gifts for selfish gain. However, the offshoot, the Church of True Revelation released a statement, decrying this Pilgrimage as a ‘road to damnation’.”

Shaking her head ostentatiously now for theatre, she sighed. “We suppose only time will tell. Now, onto other news. In Avignon, strange disappearances have increased significantly, and the gendarmes have been dispatched to the area in numbers to try and root out what is suspected to be a cell of human traffickers, though a rogue Béni par Dieu has not been ruled out. So far, more than seventy people have vanished, and most were children or young women. Furthermore…”

Akio Watch YouTube Channel, dedicated to Akio Oshiro Moonstone and those around him, comments section. Mirrored livestream re: BBC coverage of Akio’s arrival in Britain and the New Year’s Honours ceremony 01st January 2020.

7 @ I don’t get it…

8 @ Me neither. Shouldn’t they be arriving by plane?

9 @ Exactly @17. Why is there this big boat-type thing in the Thames?

10 @ Don’t question her Majesty! Show some patriotism

11 @ It’s not a boat, nor a ship. If anything, it’s almost like a barge, a floating amphitheatre

12 @ I’d say @19, don’t question Akio, that event at the… Tengokusentou, wasn’t it… was wild. Giants and Emperors and cute girls aplenty. If he says he’ll be at New Year’s Honours, he’ll be there.

13 @ Hark at you with all your terminology, @20. If it floats, it’s a boat. Just a damn big one.

14 @ There’s a band, Royal Guardsmen, the full works.

15 @ChaosEngine This piqued my curiosity. I’ve barely had time to look into Runes and now this. If what I think is going to happen does occur, then it changes the game. The world will never be the same.

16 @ So many camera crews. We’re getting all the angles.

17 @ It’s nearly time. No way the Queen will let herself look foolish with an Akio no-show…

18 @ You’re here early, @ChaosEngine.

19 @CutiePie19 I’m here too. Wouldn’t miss it for the world. I’m tired though… was a late night watching the last livestreams. It plays havoc with my skin…

20 @ If I had to guess, @ChaosEngine, you think he’s going to teleport in or something? To be fair, I can’t think of any other way he’d get here and end up in the Thames. He was only in Japan a few hours ago…

21 @ This is crazy…

22 @ABritAbroad I’ll say. Now it’s my turn to be tired. I haven’t slept, but I wouldn’t want to miss this. WTV is getting the live feed too, so I’ve got both on for colour commentary…

23 @ Holy shit, did you see that?

24 @ What a magic trick…

25 @ Why have a load of massive mushrooms appeared on the boat?

26 @ The Queen’s planning to have a party, @34?

27 @ Lol, saying the Queen was going to take magic mushrooms will get you banned, careful…

28 @ Maybe we’re all on magic mushrooms and the last few months have all been a bad trip?

29 @ Heh, true that @28

30 @ChaosEngine I get you’ve got the need to make juvenile jokes, but it’s not helpful. Focus. Besides, these mushrooms just prove my point. Notice they’re in a ring, and if they can appear…? Are you following me?

31 @CutiePie19 Oh I get it. It’s like a magical gateway, right? They say Stonehenge is a calendar, but who knows? Maybe that’s a magical gateway too…

32 @ The anticipation is killing me…

33 @ CuriousGeorge I’m actually in the crowd along the Thamas. I’ve got my own livestream going if anyone’s interested… twitch.tv/CuriousGeorge … it’s buzzing here.

34 @ When will something happen?

35 @ Me too @32, me too…

36 @ You don’t sound like a hot woman, @CuriousGeorge. So sorry, I’ll stick to the BBC coverage, at least some of the presenters are…

39 @ Damn, everyone’s so shallow, it’s… wait, what the hell, do you see that?

40 @ There are dozens of them, no… hundreds…

41 @Planescaper Mass Teleport. Very handy. Or… Gate, maybe?

42 @ Beam me up, Scotty!

43 @CuriousGeorge It’s not fake. My view isn’t the best, but I could see a big flash of purple, and suddenly people were there, pouring out. I can see Akio, and… so many women. I recognise some. Oh, there’s Shaeula. She’s giving the cheering crowd a little wave…

44 @ChaosEngine I told you. A total gamechanger. If one can cross from Japan to Britain, across half the world, in an instant… it changes so much. Transportation and freight, tourism, governmental business… and most of all… warfare. Interesting times indeed, but the Chinese say that as a curse for a reason. We’re living in the most interesting times you could imagine…

45 @ Nobody ever says that, @42…

46 @GamzeeMakara WoAh, LoOk AnD sEe… tHe PriNcEsS jUmPeD…

47 @ Will she be all right, it’s like three stories in height…

48 @ O.M.G so scary.

49 @ Princess Eleanor is soooooo cool.

50 @ Wow, she’s not even hurt. I guess Princesses are built different…

51 @DreamingQueen Oh, she’s handing him blue chrysanthemums. How… oddly fitting. New beginnings… and it’s the Japanese Imperial flower. Oh, I see Princess Mikasa amongst the crowd… along with a lot of new faces. Oh, I’m going to have to work hard to gather all this information…

52 @ Look at all the little page boys and girls laying down flower petals. Super cute.

Comment deleted by moderation.

54 @ I’d say it’s Gods’ Chosen who are built differently, @50. I do admit Princess Eleanor looks very handsome today, quite dashing…

55 @ No need for that, @53. Oh, and @52 it’s not a wedding, so they wouldn’t be pages…

56 @ Blue chrysanthemums aren’t natural. Most of them are dyed, it’s hard to breed them in nature, though it can be done…

57 @ They look really good together. See how the Princess is smiling?

58 @CutiePie19 They do, don’t they? I think they’d make a cute… uh, not really a couple, I guess? You know, right now, I almost miss @KingOfOlympus and his rude commentary. He’d be spitting fire over this…

59 @ So, waiting on @ChaosEngine to tell us we’re all idiots for missing the point and paying attention to women when we should be thinking about what it means for survival…

60 @ No, @CutiePie19, he’d be pissing lightning, remember…

61 @ The Queen is so awesome. Down with all those who want to get rid of the Monarchy!

62 @ Shaking hands, huh? They should totally kiss.

63 @ChaosEngine Actually, in this case, I’ll make an exception. This warm welcome, the actions of your Princess… the teleportation, it all paints a picture of a changing political landscape. I have a feeling by the end of today’s ceremony, the world will have changed course again… and in uncertain times…

64 @ Rule, Britannia! Rule the waves, Britons never will be slaves!

65 @ Kiss, kiss, kiss!

66 @ Smooch him, Princess, lie back and think of England!

67 @ Well, not like old Prince A did a lot to make the Royals popular, @61

68 @DreamingQueen You’re right, @ChaosEngine. Of course, I anticipated this, after the Christmas Eve leaks, but they are being rather brazen. I must update my files. Oh, Princess Eleanor and Princess Mikasa exchanged a knowing glance. I wonder, is sweet lily love, as the Japanese would call it, on the cards between them? Two roses, plucked by a brutish, handsome man, yet share tender kisses afterwards on the bed. How simply adorable…

70 @ Hush, the Queen is speaking. All Brits, stand up!

71 @ Wow, @DreamingQueen’s really off in her fantasies.

74 @ Yes, I know it’s a hot idea but keep the vulgarity toned down. Mods are watching us as always…

75 @ CuriousGeorge I can hear the speech from here, the barge has some speakers on it, very clever. The crowd’s super excited. One woman near me is screaming that she loves Akio, another’s threatening to hurl her panties at the boat. Then we have more crying out for Shaeula, for Himeko, even for the maid, Hyacinth… it’s like a concert for the Beatles, back in the day…

76 @ Aetheric Arts, huh? The Queen seems in the know…

77 @ChaosEngine I told you, it’s on the website, and also I advise stocking up on such potions and medicines when they become available, as I’ve suggested before. Even if you can’t use them yourself, think of barter in an apocalypse situation. Ammunition is worth more than gold, and this might be ammunition for special people…

78 @ I’d throw my pants at Akio, @CuriousGeorge, and I’m a man! Annoyingly enough, my younger sister thinks he’s amazing. I’m keeping her away from London today for sure!

79 @ I love you, Princess! So gorgeous, so brave!

80 @GamzeeMakara No EteRnAl AlLiEs, HuH? tRuE, bUt LiFe Is EaSiEr WhEn We AlL rElAx…

81 @DreamingQueen Yes, the fireworks were spectacular. London always puts on a great show.

82 @ Yes, I don’t think Akio would betray Britain, he strikes me as an honest man.

83 @ Does anyone know who everyone is Akio’s party is? Hey, is that his mother and father? If so, she looks very excited…

84 @ Akio’s sister is hot. Wonder if I have a chance…

Comment deleted by moderation.

86 @CuriousGoerge Yes, they were great, @DreamingQueen, I went to watch by the London Eye as I always do… oh, that’s not what’s important. There are even some celebrities in the crowd here, I’ve spotted a few footballers too…

87 @ Honest man? What a joke, @82. An honest man doesn’t sleep around

88 @ I fucking hate Akio. He’s a selfish bastard…

89 @ Yeah, what’s so special about him? He just lucked out…

92 @ Looks like the haters and real trolls have arrived. Friends of yours, @GamzeeMakara?

93 @ Jealous people are the worst. I bet even if we had his powers, we wouldn’t have the guts.

94 @ChaosEngine Yes, the barking of idiots is often loud and unpleasant. I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve heard in a bar after a shooting how ‘I’d have gone in there, guns blazing’ but in the moment, most people freeze. It takes either dedicated training to break down the instinctive fight or flight response, like in the military, or a special mindset. Of course, nobody knows what they’ll do until tested. I suggest everyone starts thinking about that… nobody wants to die pissing and shitting themselves in an emergency….

95 @GamzeeMakara NoPe, @92, No BeSt BuDs Of MiNe.

97 @ Oh, questions. Yes, BBC, a good one! Was it teleportation? If so, I don’t fancy it, what happens to the soul when your body is disintegrated and recreated? Don’t you die? Is the person still you?

98 @ Lol, Akio just oozing confidence there.

99 @ That reporter’s a bit shellshocked.

100 @ Breakfast at the Savoy, huh? Nice.

101 @CutiePie19 I bet he’d be coming to see the Princess. Sometimes I wish I had someone who’d leap across the world just to see me…

102 @ I still think he’s an arrogant prick. Why not be humble?

103 @Planescaped @97, the mushrooms indicate it’s more a gateway than teleportation, so the issue wouldn’t occur. Folding space, perhaps? I wonder if the purple sparks have anything to do with that?

104 @ClanSkryre You are quite correct. It is indeed a gateway transportation method, involving connecting two points of space to make moving between them effortless. The violet is indeed indicative of spatial distortion, via space element.

105 @ Trust the Americans to be dickheads…

106 @ Boo, hiss! Bad faith question!

107 @ Hey, looks like the filthy rats have entered the chat. You talk big @ClanSkryre, but what do you know?

108 @ Here comes the rats. But then, they say there are millions down in the subway tunnels…

109 @ The reporter’s right though. There’s only one Lord, everyone knows that. These foreign Gods are surely Devils sent to tempt us away from the righteous path…

110 @ClanSkryre You wound me. I am a rat of science, and just because I am a rat does not make me filthy. It seems prejudice from matriarch Sheshelob and her progeny has somehow entered the collective consciousness. But then… I do suppose these Skaven are rather villainous, but their ingenuity is to be praised, technology has no sin…

111 @ Akio’s being polite but sharp. I like it.

112 @ Yeah, I’m a Christian, but… I don’t approve of trying to kill the Princess!

113 @ Fox isn’t news, it’s glorified propaganda. Makes the BBC look positively glowing in comparison!

114 @ Oh, speaking of the Princess, she’s pushing back too, @112!

115 @ChaosEngine @ClanSkryre either you are a clever troll, or you know a lot more than you’re letting on. I’m curious either way. Purple is space, you say?

116 @ Not on the website, @ChaosEngine? How disappointing. LOL!

Comment deleted by moderation.

118 @ The reporter’s shut his mouth. How do you like them apples?

119 @ClanSkryre Oh, I am indeed ‘in the know’ as you say, as I work for Akio myself, and am enjoying the spectacle. The Faerie Ring Gates, as you have seen, are wonders of the Fae, and indeed connect two points in space. So if anyone tries to attack either Japan or Britain, they are in for a rude awakening. Anyway, I am enjoying the chat. Quite amusing, since my usual little friend is not about today for some reason…

120@CutiePie19 Oh wow, so gorgeous! Horse-drawn carriages! It’s like a fairy tale, like a Princess picture book…

121 @ Looks like the fun’s over for now…

122@ChaosEngine Interesting. DM me later and we’ll talk, @ClanSkryre.

123 @ Oh, but it is a Princess fairytale, @CutiePie19, wouldn’t you say?

124 @ I still hate that guy. Bastard…

125 @ Hey, late to the party, but @CutiePie19, post pics and if you’re a cutie like you say, some of us guys will gladly come flying to you!

Comment deleted by moderation.

127 @ Creeper alert…

128 @ Hey, at least we can watch everyone board the carriages. Get screengrabs of all the women, we need to work out who they are…

129 @ The Queen looks healthy, I had heard she was sick, and worried…

130 @DreamingQueen Have no fear, @CutiePie19, I have it all under control. This is being recorded as we speak…

131 @CuriousGeorge I’ll try and keep up with the carriage parade as best I can, so don’t forget to check out my livestream for commentary and shots the BBC won’t give you! twitch.tv/CuriousGeorge

… … …

1513 @ Those highlight reels were awesome and all, but can we get back to the action?

1514 @ Yeah, less reruns, more new news! Come on BBC, work your magic!

1515 @ Wait, there’s a notification they’re ready to go live.

1516 @ Sweet, gonna be good.

1517 @ Looks like everyone is flooding back, chat is heating up…

1518 @DreamingQueen I wouldn’t miss this. A bouquet of beautiful flowers needs a wonderful vase to house them. Where better than Buckingham Palace?

Comment deleted by moderation.

1520 @ Yeah, I get the sentiments, @1519, but calling women vases is a dick move. Pun intended. Glad you’re gone.

1521 @ Indeed, it’s humour that would shame the thundercock, even…

1522 @KingOfOlympus You called, and I shall appear!

1523 @ Lol. Who said his name in the minor three times?

1524 @ He’s back, the King we don’t deserve!

1525 @ The thundercock rams down the door like a battering ram!

1526 @ What’s up? Not seen you in days, thought they’d finally managed to keep your ass banned @KingOfOlympus

1527 @ Oh wow, that’s Catherine Allison! She’s quite famous. It’s good to see her getting an award.

1528 @ Sucks to be her though, talk about being totally overshadowed by what’s to come…

1529 @ Dame Grand Cross, GBE, that’s a big deal, isn’t it?

1530 @ I’m more interested in the footage of Akio’s party. There are so many of them!

1531 @KingOfOlympus This Catherine is still a handsome woman but not worthy of my gaze. Of course, if she bows down properly before me, I shall grace her with my seed!

1532 @ The Queen’s in good spirts, it’s great to see.

1533 @ Lol, either it’s definitely our @KIngOfOlympus, or we’ve got a damn good impostor…

1534 @ It might be a coincidence… but the next guy’s award is due to the field of medicine as well, yeah?

1535 @ Poor bastard. I respect soldiers, they’ve given so much for the country…

… … …

1701 @ Yes, all doctors, nurses and the like. Definitely a pattern…

1702 @ Who the fuck cares, shut up, everyone! It’s happening!

1703 @ Holy shit! Nobody bar-bar her way to victory! Barmyway.gif

1704 @ Shaeula, she’s so gorgeous! Barmyway.gif

1705 @ Hey, anyone ever been to a Kelly’s Bar? Not your typical Irish pub, but the American chain? If so, *smooch*!

1706 @DreamingQueen Saviour of her granddaughter? There’s a story there, I’m sure. Anyway, I’ve kept up with her exploits, and indeed, @1705, I am aware. In those bars, there are Shaeula-themed displays, it seems they have a sponsorship deal. Supposedly being brave enough to kiss the life-sized Shaeula metal cutout is good fortune.

1707 @ She’s not overawed by meeting the Queen at all…

1708 @ Isn’t this a pretty picture? Someone grab a screenshot…

Comment deleted by moderation.

1710 @KingOfOlympus I would do far more than merely kiss a false idol. I would seize her lips, both sets, and set her moaning with pleasure. It would be her good fortune to mate with the King of the Gods!

1711 @ They seem so close. It’s cute… like she’s another granddaughter.

1712 @ Shaeula’s so small. Or is it that the throne is big?

1713 @CutiePie19 Be nice, @KingOfOlympus. And there are women here, please don’t be crude!

1719 @ Bah, @KingOfOlympus has brought out the misogynist trolls. Don’t worry, he’ll be banned soon…

1720 @ Wow, a Lady Companion! That’s a huge deal…

1721 @ Lady Companion! Barmyway.gif

1722 @ I just hear garter and wonder what’s under that cute green dress…

1723 @ So Shaeula’s counted as British, huh? Nice. I can root for her more now.

1724@CutiePie19 The George Cross too! She’s a decorated war hero as well! And that green dress, with the orange gloves matching her eyes. Super cute! If I was a guy, I’d totally be in love!

1725 @ChaosEngine The George Cross? I’m not entirely familiar with such medals, but it certainly gives her a strong appeal in certain circles. Not a bad move. I told you, everything’s changing rapidly, and today is one that’ll go down as another turning point. Be prepared.

1726 @ I can’t wait to see who’s next. This is wild!

1727 @ More cuties and beauties, I hope! I’m just here for the babes!

1728 @ Hyacinth? Oh, her? She’s got two appealing features… in that dress she’s explosive.

1729 @ Hey, is it me or does she look different? Wasn’t her hair more black before?

1730 @ And her skin rather paler, even a bit greyish? Now she looks like a healthy gorgeous woman. Makeup?

1731 @GamzeeMakara WoW, sUcH aNtI-TrOlL pReDuDiCe. It’S woRsE tHaN HeMoSpEcTrUm-IsM. I Am An ExPeRt On MaKeUp, ThOuGh, AnD I CaN tElL yOu ShE’s AlL nAtUrAl. AnD qUiTe ThE bAbE. I wOuLd ShArE a BuCkEt WiTh HeR iN a HeArTbEaT!

1732 @ Oh dear. I think our lightning loony is probably jerking it at the screen

Comment deleted by moderation.

1734 @ Those violet eyes, so wonderful. Could totally get lost in those…

1735 @DreamingQueen I agree, @GamzeeMakara. Once I worked out what you’d actually said, I realised you supported my viewpoint. That closeup would reveal any foundation or whitener. She’s… well, I don’t think she’s human either, is she? Maybe it’s not unusual for her appearance to change?

1736 @CutiePie19 Wow, don’t say that @1732, my delicate ears hurt…

1737 @KingOfOlympus Indeed, it is such a blasphemy to insist I, me, mighty Zeus, Lord of Olympus, would have to resort to playing with my mighty weapon, which exceeds even a Titan’s in girth. No, I would get this Hyacinth to use her bountiful chest to satisfy me, at least to begin with!

Comment deleted by moderation.

Comment deleted by moderation.

1740 @ So Hyacinth knows other Royalty? Faerie, do you think? Now I’m fired up. It’s a mystery!

1741 @ Order of the Garter again! And George Cross!

1742 @ I’m not even surprised. But… isn’t there a limited number of slots for Lady Companions? Looks like Akio’s crew is filling them all up…

1743 @ Love the hat. I’m a hat fan, and the ones everyone are wearing, they’re all simply gorgeous!

1744 @ How can the Queen top this? Can she? Oh yes, she can!

1745 @ Fuck me, that woman is beautiful! I mean, they all are, but… that silver hair, real silver.

1746 @ Holy hell… I remember on holiday in Egypt I once saw a woman with true crimson hair, a one in a million. Metallic silver like that’s got to be even rarer…

1747 @ I would give ten, no, twenty years of my life just for one night with her…

1748 @ That’s Himeko Shiratori, right? From London before…

1749 @DreamingQueen You’d be giving all your life if you tried, @1747. If she didn’t kill you, Akio certainly would. But yes, it’s her. There’s a surprisingly scant amount of information about her, though I have established what university she goes to, people post about her. But she hasn’t been for quite a while…

1750 @ I’m bored. Lady Companion, George Cross… oh, wait… not the George Cross…

1751 @ She can’t get the George Cross, she’s not British and dear old Queen Elizabeth can’t fudge it.

1752 @DoYouKnowKimchi Hi, watching from Korea. Sorry if I make mistakes, my English is only okay. Why can’t she have a George Cross?

1753 @ I’m in love.

1754 @ That figure, that dress… I think if I had a magic lamp, I’d only need one wish. I want to be Akio. That’s it.

1755 @ It’s simple, that’s only for British citizens, @DoYouKnowKimchi… and as she’s not a Fae… What. The. Fuck?

1756 @ A Goddess descends?

1757 @ A Goddess?

1758 @ A Goddess descends?

1759 @ Oh, My Goddess!

… … …

1981 @ A Goddess descends!

1982 @Planescaped Bloody hell, please stop that! All the lurkers came out and spammed the chat. But… I get it…

1983 @DreamingQueen Taṇhā? Is she like inside of Himeko? My data didn’t predict this…

1984 @ Oh, this happened before. Remember the press conference? Fiery red eyes and hair… that must be Taṇhā!

1985 @ Oh, @KingOfOlympus must be intimidated, as he’s met a true Goddess. He didn’t perv on Himeko either…

1986 @DreamingQueen Oh, so she’s apparently a daughter of Māra, according to the internet. If we can trust that… supposedly very beautiful, and tried to entrap the Buddha… I’ll be adding this to my files. Wait…

1987 @ Ah, a new medal. The Eleanor Cross! So, two more new Lady Companions, or is it really one? Hard to decide…

1988 @ I’ve just had a thought. If Taṇhā is inside Himeko, and Akio is her lover… doesn’t that mean he’s technically sleeping with a genuine Goddess too? It can’t be true, right? RIGHT?

1989 @ChaosEngine I would say this explains some of the statues in the Tengokusentou top floor earlier, and part of the stained-glass display. I wouldn’t trust random sites on the internet, but I do wonder if the Ministry will post an update. This is… very dangerous, but clearly a power play.

1990 @ I think he got banned again after the last comments, @1985, they’ve removed a couple of his worst fantasies too. Good job too. I don’t think we needed to sully our eyes with what he said he’d do to poor Hyacinth…

1991 @Planescaped Not the first God we’ve met, there were plenty of them at the Tengokusentou. And I’ve heard of Hachiman but never of Taṇhā. So she’s probably not that big a deal. Wait, Māra… he’s in a lot of games…

1992 @Planescaped Anyway, poor @Confused Denier must be having a headache. I know I am. When did we wander into the Outer Planes all of a sudden?

1993 @ My envy and hatred for Akio grows apace…

Comment deleted by moderation.

1995 @ Me too, @1754, but I think if we asked the genie for that wish or a magic unicorn who shits gold encrusted with diamonds, he’d be… here’s your unicorn…

1996 @ Let’s hope her daddy’s not a massive penis monster…

1997 @ Hey, @ChaosEngine, what do you mean, a power play?

1998 @CutiePie19 Eww, @1996, why would you say that? That’s hateful!

1999 @ Hey, you think the Goddess ever pulls pranks and switches with Himeko when they’re having sex? That’d be kind of hot….

2000 @ Woot, I’m number 2000. Got to say something awesome. Something awesome!

Comment deleted by moderation.

2002 @ Wow, the Goddess is being so gentle. The world Akio and the princess wish to protect? Do you think she means Princess Eleanor, or Himeko?

2003 @ No parents? I feel bad for Himeko

2004 @ChaosEngine It’s simple, @1997. Such an action comes out in clear defiance to the threats, well publicised, from the Church of True Revelation. More importantly, it can be assumed that Gods and Goddesses have a measure of power behind them. It’s flexing their deep foundation and potential military backing. A risky play and seemed to catch them off guard a little. Perhaps the Queen made the judgement. She’s a shrewd one.

2005 @ Don’t be mad, @CutiePie19, it’s from a video game. He’s always a gross, giant dick tentacle monster thing. But if his daughter’s hot, it’s probably just bullshit. Unless she looks like that too…

2006 @ I’m a bit worried. Japan has all these powerhouses. What if they try and take over the world?

2007 @ Yeah, that’s sad. Looks like a lot of family is here from Japan for various people, but none for Himeko…

2008 @ Wasn’t she the Anesidora woman? Come on, open up your box for us all to see, cause a sensation and get the stream banned!

2009 @ Then, @2006, all hail our gorgeous overlords. I’d let any of them step on me! Shaeula would probably be the hottest though…

2010 @Planescaped Yeah, like I said before, Gods may not be truly what we’d consider a deity, but they’re surely strong, hence Powers. So @ChaosEngine yes, it’s both a deterrent, like nuclear weapons, and a threat. Mess with us and we’ve got the big guns on our side…

2011 @ Hey, who’s the big guy? Looks hot…

2012 @ Grulgor? That’s the name called…

2013@DoYouKnowKimchi Ah! Saitama!

2014 @ABritAbroad Saitama!

2015 @CutiePie19 Yeah, he’s got that rugged, manly look down hard. I like!

2016 @ Definitely looks like he could kill a man in One Punch…

2017 @ What’s a Chosen Hero? I’m curious…

2018 @ He’s so politely spoken, but that ‘Grul says’ stuff is funny…

2019 @ A Knight Of The Garter. And George Cross. Of course. This is setting records…

2020 @ Your granddaughter stood. Through blood, fear and pain. That is true strength! Fucking hell, gave me chills.

2021 @ Ugh, don’t want to see him in garters, just the others!

2022 @ I know, right? @2020. I’m so proud of our Princess. I think the abolitionists are screwed now.

2023 @ Grulgor had best be swift, as Akio will surely get to them fast. He will crush anyone who hurts this land for her? Hot damn, this guy’s got the looks and the smooth talking.

2024 @ Did Grulgor just out Akio and Princess Eoeanor’s relationship? Not that it’s exactly a secret after Christmas Eve…

2025 @ NOOOOOOOOO! I don’t want to see Akio taking our Princess too!

2026 @ Wow, this Na has no presence at all. Definitely fishy…

2027 @ChaosEngine Quite suspicious. Na alone isn’t much to go on, but she could be Chinese, I suppose. Makes me wonder…

2028 @ Just the Eleanor Cross, huh? Ordinarily that’d be huge, but now it seems kind of meh…

Comment deleted by moderation.

2030 @ Maybe she’s veiled her face as she’s too hot to look at? Stranger things have happened.

2031 @ Oh shit! Here comes the big one!

2032 @ Order Of The Garter or more? Place your bets!

2033 @DreamingQueen Princess Eleanor does seem remarkably at ease with him. I think it’s happening…

2034 @ Garter.

2035 @ Husband.

2036 @ Knight.

2037 @ Knight.

… … …

2106 @ Garter.

2107 @ What do you mean husband, @2035?

2018 @ Her Majesty is a laugh riot. Working eyes… she’s like a fiery old grandma…

2019 @ChaosEngine I think I get why the Queen revealed Taṇhā despite the potential threat of provoking a retaliation from offended parties. If I’m right, this is a power play that will shake the world. A true unifying force. And a Goddess can be used as both sword and shield…

2020 @ Other ideas, huh? I guess that the Order of the Garter voters lose.

2021 @ If I was Akio, I’d say… ‘give me your granddaughter!’ about now…

2022 @ Hey, isn’t that David Reckless? I’m a huge fan. Was gutted when he stopped fighting in the Octagon. Now he’s a Knight? Does that mean…

2023 @ David Reckless, Reckless by name, but not by nature!

2024 @CutiePie19, Oh, he’s a handsome pretty-boy type. Got good muscles too…

2025 @ Yeah, the Queen admitted it. David’s a Chosen. Wow, that’s bloody badass as all hell! If you combine magical powers with his fighting skills, I bet he’s a monster!

2026 @ I’d say that’d make headlines tomorrow in the papers, but… he’s got a lot to compete with.

2027 @ Looks like someone’s already unfaithful to Grulgor. For shame, @CutiePie19, I thought you were different!

2028 @ Oh wow, it’s the sword girl! Awesome! So cute!

2029 @ I hope that the Queen treats her better than the Japanese Imperial Family did…

2030 @CutiePie19 Oh, you, @2027. I’m just admiring them. Besides, I may be cute, but I’m not sure I could woo a celebrity!

2031 @ Trust in her Majesty!

2032 @ Don’t give up, @CutiePie19, I believe in you!

2033 @ Post pics and we’ll tell you if you’ve got a shot, @CutiePie19, don’t worry, we’ll be fair!

2034 @ABritAbroad You should have seen it when she cut the storms. I was in Tokyo at the time. It was crazy! Couldn’t believe my eyes. Of course, what with my wonky commute, and… I’ll be honest, I’ve seen a couple of spiritual beings in the flesh now, from a safe distance, of course… sometimes I think living in Tokyo is like dwelling in a magical fantasy land. And not the usual way we Westerners mean it!

2035 @ Okay, she’s adorable. I fully support Akio and Princess Mikasa in telling Prince Gorohito to fuck off…

2036 @ Oh my God, the Queen’s using the Ame-no-Murakumo-no-Tsurugi to Knight Akio, and she’s letting her! Adorable…

2037 @ Pics, @2034. Prove it.

2038 @ Call her Tsurugi, don’t dehumanise her, @2036, jackass!

2039 @ABritAbroad Sure thing. Weasel.jpg. And before you say it’s photoshopped, I’ve got video too. Weasel.mp4.

2040 @ Commander of an Order?

2041 @ Diamond Shield Knights?

2042 @ Whoa, Diamond Shield?

2043 @DoYouKnowKimchi My English isn’t so good, what’s this?

2044 @Chaos Engine It’s unfolding as I expected. Knights aren’t purely ceremonial anymore. Not if David Reckless is indeed a Chosen, as the Queen says, and one of his Knights now. This is the start of an extra-military, sanctioned force, and she’s putting it in the hands of a foreigner. Though she’ll only do that if they have concrete ties, so… what’s next is obvious.

2045 @DreamingQueen Princess Eleanor would rather bleed than let Akio? Quite the bold declaration. But not unexpected.

2046 @ Aww, how sweet. You know what, I ship them!

2047 @ Princess, no! Don’t do it!

2048 @ Hey, there are laws about bigamy in this country!

2058 @DreamingQueen And there we have it.

2059 @ Love divided isn’t love halved. The smooth bastard probably practised that line in a mirror.

2060 @ She’s agreed!

2061 @ Congratulations Princess!

2062 @ Boo! Hiss! Leave some for the rest of us, Akio, you bastard!

2063 @ That ring’s gorgeous…

2064 @CutiePie19 This is a fairytale romance. And that ring’s very pretty.,.

2066 @ Even if it was just Eleanor, Shaeula, Hyacinth, Shiro and maybe that Goddess, he’d be the luckiest, most greedy bastard alive. But that’s not all, is it? Not even close…

2067 @ Because of course you’d have a shot with any of them, @2062.

2068 @ChaosEngine And there you have it. Multiple displays of power and influence, and a strong message to the enemies of Britain and Japan. They stand and fight together. Coupled with… the Ring Gate, as @ClanSkryre called it… yeah. This is the birth of a new power bloc, a hegemony of might. And… sadly, some are already provoking it…

2069 @ Wait… Hold. The. Fucking. Presses. Did the Queen just… abdicate?

2070 @ She’s gone and done it. Eleanor’s going to be Queen? That means Akio…

2071 @DreamingQueen Oh my, he’s not having an affair with two Princesses now, it’s as her Majesty puts it. A Queen and an Empress… @ChaosEngine, did you expect this too?

2072 @ Headline. Akio marries Princess Eleanor. Nope. In the bin with that. Now it’s… Queen declares intent to abdicate. Princess Eleanor to be Queen. Akio bags said Queen…

2078 @ChaosEngine I did. It seems that the monarchy will be less and less ceremonial now, actually reclaiming a great deal of political power, just like in Japan. That means the man with the most influence will be Akio Oshiro. This changes everything, while at the same time doesn’t change much at all. I guess we will have to prepare. As always. Proper preparation prevents poor performance. Remember the five P’s.

2079 @ClanSkryre Yes, it is indeed a wonderful day. If only because the strain was getting to everyone. Now the engagement is declared, everyone over here can relax. Though perhaps not Eleanor. No, making it official carries a whole new selection of adorable worries…

2080 @ What. A. Day!

2081 @ Yeah, no kidding. Teleportation, Honours, marriages and abdication. Can anything top this?

… … …

6011 @ Chat’s been wild. It’s huge news.

6012 @ I can’t believe that the Pope and the President of the United States being there has barely attracted any interest.

6013 @ I still can’t get over how good Princess Eleanor looked dancing with Akio. They seem a couple already. Do you think…?

6014 @ That other girl, we’ve seen her before. Natsumi Hori, yes? She was at a royal gala before.

6015 @ WTV did a programme on her too. She’s a young lady and a martial artist, and her family makes very high-end traditional cloth and Japanese clothing but can even make Western gowns. I really want one, but they’re super pricy and there’s a waiting list…

6016 @ And then there’s the one he’s dancing with now. She’s stunning in that red dress. And we saw her at the same gala…

6017 @ That wine-red tight dress is very mature. I kind of hate that I admire Akio for his sheer gall right now.

6018 @DreamingQueen I have watched all of the portrait series on WTV as part of my research. Honestly, even without my interest, it would still be a fascinating documentary series about Japanese life for young women. Motoko Tsumura, young noble, and granddaughter of the Japanese Defence Minister. A heir to a traditional style of martial arts. And another of Akio’s fiancées. Though the documentary made plain she is very close to Natsumi. I smell lilies!

6019 @KingOfOlympus All those girls shall smell is my thunderous cock as I snatch them from Akio! He might be a strong man, but I am the King of Olympus, and cunning beyond measure. Perhaps I shall become a swan and infiltrate, or turn to light, or rain down golden… I like a pleasant golden shower, as shall they!

6020 @ They dance really well. I’m tired of saying it, but it’s like we’re watching a storybook…

6021 @ Natsumi seems a bubbly girl, while Motoko is more elegant. Normally you’d have to choose, but that bastard gets to hold a flower in both hands!

6023 @ Oh look, guess who’s back. Get unbanned yet again, @KingOfOlympus?

6024 @ The dance is coming to a close. Bets on who’s next? I’m sure there must be a next?

6025 @CutiePie19 I love the dancing and the atmosphere of the Ball. I’m just sad we can’t hear what people are saying. The commentary is nice though…

6026 @ Himeko’s my bet.

6027 @ Shaeula, surely!

6028 @ How about Hyacinth?

6029 @KingOfOlympus I have indeed come back. None can keep me from the women I crave. I concede, Akio is a worthy rival, but once they have had a taste of the thundercock, not his puny Asian chopstick, they shall abandon him and become my lovers!

6030 @ Hey. it’s Shaeula, I win!

6031 @ My hatred is boiling again…

6032 @ABritAbroad If your right arm starts hurting, just get drunk rather than embarrassing yourself…

6033 @ Oh, she’s super cute when she dances…

6034 @ClanSkryre I would be rather careful, @KingOfOlympus. Akio has threatened the very Gods themselves for those he adores. I assume you are merely playing a role, but if you are a Chosen, then by all means, make a move. You will fail, and what is yours shall be ours. In fact, quite a tempting offer…

6036 @ Never a dull moment in here. We’ve got beautiful women to ogle, and drama, and our usual bunch of idiots. I’m cracking open a beer!

6037 @ Everyone’s waiting so eagerly for their turn with Akio.

6038 @ Look, Motoko’s dancing with David Reckless. They look like they’re friends, maybe?

6039 @KingOfOlympus You would threaten me? How bold, little man. I could strike you down from where I am now, but… my eyes have been distracted by beautiful nymphs, who deserve my tender loving care. I shall sire a new generation of demigods, and all shall be beautiful and handsome as they are and I am! Believe it!

6040 @ A beer, @6036? I’m already hammered. Been on the gin, drowning my sorrows. Makes me feel worse though.

6041 @ Guess Akio’s okay with it. Maybe he’s not the jealous type?

6042 @ClanSkyre If you declare so, @KingOfOlympus. It must be nice to live in dreams. But I must insist you moderate your language. Humour is fine but cross the line and you shall regret it. You might have some skills, as it seems you can get past the bans, but I am confident I could find your location, or if not, a comrade of mine could. She is quite ingenious.

6043 @ClanSkryre Oh my no, @6041. Akio is terribly jealous. But he trusts his women. And has a friendship with David, who is also fond of Motoko and Natsumi. Platonically, of course. He is not suicidal, unlike our false God who plagues this chat.

6044 @ Look, it’s her. We saw her during the terrorist attacks. She’s pretty.

6045 @DreamingQueen Oh, I confess to not knowing much about her. Hmm, @ClanSkryre, care to share? If you are who you claim, not a poser like @KingOfOlympus, then do prove it.

6046 @ They seem so very close and comfortable with each other…

6047 @ Gorgeous women Akio’s danced with counter, now at five. Bets on the final total?

6048 @ That black hair is gorgeous, and she’s got big black eyes. Very Asian, but still hot…

6049 @ Fucking hell. I need to start the hard stuff too. Watching this sober is soul-destroying!

6050 @ClanSkryre I need not to prove myself, but I can. That is Eri, Akio’s childhood friend. They are indeed deeply in love. No pithy comment or lewd declaration, @KingOfOlympus?

6051 @ I’m not jealous. I’m not!

6052 @ I feel bad for the Princess. So many rivals…

6053 @ Looks like @KingOfOlympus either got banned again, or he chickened out…

6054 @ Childhood friends are awesome. Mine never spoke to me after we left school though…

6055 @DreamingQueen Thank you for the information, @ClanSkryre. I might call on you again…

6056 @ Okay, so bets on who’s next?

6057 @ I don’t want to know, @6056… it’s just depressing…

6058 @Planescaped I wonder, is anything else going to happen? It feels strange to say it, considering, but I’m starting to get bored…

6059 @ How about Hyacinth?

6060 @ Or a Goddess? That could happen…

6061 @ Bored? I feel you, @Planescaped. Though boredom isn’t quite the right term. More depression. But yeah, this parade of beauties, one can get numb to anything if there’s a lot of it…

6062 @ And of course, we’ve had such shocking revelations before, this seems ordinary now…

… … …

7096 @ So who’s next? This game’s starting to feel bitter… even when we win, all we do is lose out as men.

7097 @ Oh, isn’t that his sister?

7098 @ She’s cute, always said so.

7099 @ I wish my sister was cute. She looks like an unwashed gorilla, and has a worse temper…

7100 @ That blue dress suits her a lot.

7101 @ Must be rough. Having a successful sibling just leads to envy and frustration. You’re always being compared to them.

7102 @ They’re fucking. All Japanese guys love their sisters far too much. It’s cultural…

Comment deleted by moderation.

7104 @CutiePie19 I wish I had a sister like her.

7105 @ABritAbroad That’s total nonsense @7102. While there’s a lot of porn about that… don’t ask me how I know… taboos are still taboos. Besides, a lot of Japanese families don’t have much living space, so while siblings can end up closer than out here in the West, there’d be much fewer opportunities to hide such behaviour…

7106 @ Hey, uh, that dance…

7107 @ Yeah, it’s a bit sexy.

7108 @ Hot as fuck.

7109 @ I’m jealous. I’m crying.

7110 @ Maybe @7102 isn’t so wrong? Nah, just kidding. There’s no way.

7111 @ If they were too close, Princess Eleanor would never stand for it.

7112 @ChaosEngine And here we go again. I had hoped you’d understood what matters here. But we’re back to caring about women, rather than the uncertain future. For shame. I really don’t know why I bother…

7113 @ Hey, he just kissed her.

7114 @ Cheeks, not lips. It’s safe!

7115 @ Yep, fucking. Or he wants to. My eyes never lie!

7116 @ Hey, @KingOfOlympus, where are you? I want to hear about you snatching his sister and making Akio watch as you impregnate her!

7117 @GamzeeMakara HeY, lOvE kNoWs No BoUnDs Of GeNdEr, SpEcIeS, oR rElAtIoN. LoVe Is WhAt It Is My GoOd BrOs AnD hOeS!

7118 @ The King has fled back to his mountain.

7119 @ Not so much thundercock, as drizzle dick…

7120 @ Who cares about that? Who’s that? She looks cute, and that dress is pretty!

7121 @ That young woman watching them is more to my taste. She looks so elegant and refined.

7122 @ Anyone else losing track of how many Akio has danced with?

7123 @ He must have super-stamina. Dancing isn’t easy, and he’s been going non-stop!

… … …

8567 @ It’s getting silly now. Who’s got the running count?

8568 @ Beauty after beauty, they can’t all be his girlfriends, otherwise how does he find the time? Or do they only get a day a month?

8569 @DreamingQueen I do confess, seeing so many wonderful beauties invigorates me, but… it will be tiring gathering information on all of them.

8570 @ Whoa, holy crap, her breasts are massive. I think I’m in love…

8571 @ That golden gown is lethally sexy. A femme fatale if ever I’ve seen one.

8572 @ Oh hey, I remember, @DreamingQueen, you said you’d find it tough to share Akio, even for getting close to all the women. Changed your mind now you’ve seen what’s on show?

8573 @CutiePie19 Hey, @8570, women aren’t all about breast size you know? You’ll never find a nice girlfriend if you’ve got that attitude…

8574 @ I’ve liked so many, but… this one’s definitely my favourite. That dress, that chest, the long hair, sexy eyes…

8575 @ Hark at Miss small boobs then @CutiePie19.

8576 @ I’m taking a shot each time Akio dances with a beauty. The ambulance is already called, but what with London traffic, I probably won’t survive to see it…

8577 @DreamingQueen Well, @8572, it’s temping, but I do have my pride. I’m not one for sharing… at least with a man. Double standards, I know, but we women are allowed to be choosy.

8578 @ Boobs. Breasts. Bosoms. Tits. Bazookas. Knockers. Jugs. Hooters. Melons. Baps. Norks. Bristols.

8579 @ Those of us who are about to die, salute you @8576, you’ll be missed!

8580 @ I know who I’m dreaming about tonight.

8581 @ Send help, @8578 is having breast-related seizures.

8582@ChaosEngine Idiots…

8583 @ You’re spoilt for choice, @8580. I don’t know, this one’s gorgeous, but she’s got a lot of rivals for my dreams tonight! Maybe I’ll try real hard to dream of them all…

8584 @CutiePie19 … … … jerk. @8575 I’ll have you know I’m average sized. And no, there will be no pictures! @DreamingQueen, hug me, they’re being mean! *sobs* Here I am talking nicely to all these guys, and they’re picking on me! I just wanted to brighten their day!

8585 @ Aww, dance over. I’ll miss you, golden goddess!

8586 @ Hey, who are those two? Any ideas?

8587 @ Wow, that one in white and gold is luscious. Not as stacked as our golden girl, but still thicc and juicy!

8588 @ That blue and silver really makes her look gorgeous. Chalk up two more for Akio, the thieving bastard!

8589 @DreamingQueen Pay no attention to the jerks, @CutiePie19, you’re too sweet for them, that’s all. Hmm, this new pair is more on the elegant side… but I have no data on either. And it seems @ClanSkryre has wandered off. Alas, so has our idiotic companion @KingOfOlympus. Anyone got any info?

8590 @ Another sexy dance. I’m starting to grudgingly respect Akio now…

8593 @ I say, steady on. No call for that. Women aren’t sluts just because they are dancing with a guy who has other partners. And if you praise Akio, you can’t disdain the women…

8594 @DoYouKnowKimchi I know them! I’m shocked, @DreamingQueen! I went to the same university as the one in white and gold. Her name is Chin Soo-ah. I never spoke to her all the time I was there though.

8595 @DoYouKnowKimchi Her father is an important man. I think the other one is Park Yu-mi, only child of the head of the Doosan Group. Big money, big influence! Those others… I think they are all daughters of important Korean figures…

8596 @ Not content on stealing all the Japanese women, now he’s after Brits and Koreans too?

8597 @ Wow, that Yu-mi seems close to him. That’s a close dance.

8598 @ He’s going international!

5599 @ DreamingQueen I’ve checked online, and yes, Park Yu-mi. She has an Instagram account, not that it’s been used for much, but there are some pictures, at a club, it seems, with Soo-ah, Eri and Akio, alongside some other people. Thank you @DoYouKnowKimchi, very helpful. Oh… @ChaosEngine, have you learned your lesson? It seems knowing the women does matter. If he’s in a relationship with so many Korean women, that means politics, yes?

5600 @ This is getting outrageous. It’s like having money. Your first million is huge and changes your life. The tenth… not such a big deal.

5601 @ Screenshot. Screenshot. Screenshot.

5602 @ Wonder if the tabloids are going to run articles on everyone he danced with.

5603 @ Oh, lip kiss. I see tongue too, I think!

5604 @ Hmm, kind of hot. She’s a bold one.

5605 @ChaosEngine Very well. I concede maybe it’s not entirely stupid. But most of the idiots here are only thinking of tits and ass, not the political or cultural ramifications. They’ll be the first to die in an apocalypse, cheated by women, most likely.

5606 @ You know, we could probably categorise by which women were cheek kisses, and which were lips. And by how sexy the dances were…

5607 @ Oh Gods, if… Soo-ah, yeah… dances too hard, she’ll come spilling free. I’m here for it!

5608 @ So many more women waiting in line. Do you think Akio will be okay?

5609 @ Okay, place your bets, who’s next? No prize, just our manly honour at stake…

5610@ChaosEngine See, @DreamingQueen? You can’t tell me this behaviour is relevant?

… … …

7761 @ Wow, I’m exhausted. How many was that? Thirty, forty, fifty?

7762 @ All either cute, beautiful, charming or all three. Life really isn’t fair…

7763 @CutiePie19 Hey, the woman of your dreams could be out there waiting, don’t lose hope. I’m cute, and I’m sure @DreamingQueen is a beauty.

7764 @ Think that last one was a little young, but damn was she smoking hot. Went right for the lips too…

7765 @KingOfOlympus I see the charm of a woman from her. Worthy of my attention!

7766 @ Oh, look who’s back. Lucky us…

7767 @ Yeah, but… don’t let Akio see them first, @CutiePie19, looks like he’s got the guts for more.

7768 @ ABritAbroad I’m pretty certain I’ve seen her on a documentary about shrines. I think she was… Kana-chan? Oh, sorry, fell into Japanese habits there for a minute. Kana, she’s a shrine maiden. And Akio’s lover, I’d guess. It’s not uncommon over here…

7769 @ A bit uncomfortable, but… not like it’s illegal, I suppose. Unlike bigamy.

7770 @ Guess you came running back when the rat who ran you off disappeared, huh, @KingOfOlympus?

7771 @ I liked the woman before. Western, really pretty. Seemed a bit hesitant though. Probably Akio’s next target.

7772 @ Bigamy was illegal. I doubt the Queen will stand for our MP’s not changing the law.

7773 @KingOfOlympus I was not running, @7770. I simply had matters to attend to. Few know the trials we Gods must face! Now, I shall have to plan my visitation carefully. So many beauties, so little time…

7774 @ Anyway, I think he’s done! Round of applause all around?

7775 @ I doubt Akio would stand for it, @ 7772, I’m more scared of him, and I think they should be too lol…

7776 @CutiePie19 Yes, a heroic effort.

7777 @ Lucky quad sevens! I can take Akio on in a fight at this glorious moment!

7778 @ What was it, like three hours?

7779 @ I’m depressed now…

7780 @ Sure, nerd. Go back to your games @7777

7781 @DreamingQueen I for one have rather enjoyed the day. Both days. What glorious excitement it has been.

7782 @ No kidding, @DreamingQueen. We’ve seen so much. Couple these events with the lightshow over Tokyo and the strange new changes to the city…

7783 @ChaosEngine Yes, the only constant is change. We’ve seen the world transform, physically, which will have one hell of a cascade of terrible knock-on effects, we’ve seen the political landscape shift, with two upcoming abdications and marriages, and… that won’t be all. Set aside your foolish interests and think about the future. Prepare, and stay safe. Because the pace of changing times is accelerating, and… it’s too late to think of survival once you’re already on fire and waist deep in shit…
