A Star Reborn: The Queen’s Return

The man pulled the belt around his waist and threw it on the bed, watching Xia Yingluo. “Do you want to take it off yourself, or should I help you?”

Xia Yingluo was a little panicked. In her plan, this time she should have already hit him unconscious while he was unprepared, but in the face of such a dangerous and certain man, she was not confident for the first time in her life. “I…” She laughed dryly, trying to drag the time with small talk. “I haven’t asked your name yet?”

The man looked at her playfully. “Do you want to know?”

“I, I have to know who I am doing it with for the first time.” She raised her small face, which was obviously pure, but the words that emerged made people want to vomit blood. She was the great lady of the Li family, and was not as innocent as she looked. Although some things she had not experienced personally before, she had heard and seen a lot and had grown some wisdom to these things.

The man whispered something.

Xia Yingluo felt dizzy as if everything around her had become blurred, and even his voice was not clear. Vaguely, she only felt that he had made a very strange sound that was unlike the human language. On the contrary, it was like a resonant low-pitched sound similar to unknown creatures gathering together.

She was suspicious that she had heard wrongly.

It was hard to stop the dizziness, and she heard him ask her, “Do you remember it?”

She was a little embarrassed and said carefully, “I, I just felt very dizzy… could you say it again?”

He stood under the dim light and looked down at her.

She discovered that the color of his eyelid was very strange. It was similar to the inorganic texture of some kind of beast, his pupil was cold, without a trace of emotion, making her feel an unknown fear. She breathed shallowly and carefully stepped back.

“Wei Lingnan,” he suddenly said.

She was shocked and looked at him inexplicably.

“My name is Wei Lingnan.” The man approached her step by step. He pushed her to a corner and leaned over to lift her chin. “Remember it, Xia Yingluo. If you forget it again, I’ll be very angry… very angry.”

His soft tone was like thin ice, and the chill infiltrated into her heart.

She stared at him with wide eyes, not understanding what he meant by “again”. Could it be that she knew him before and had forgotten him? But it was impossible. If such a big and dangerous man who made her shudder had appeared in her life before, she would remember it! He… did he made a mistake? He must be mistaken!

“Mr. Wei, have you mistaken me for someone?” she said cautiously.

Wei Lingnan’s pair of smooth and cold beast-like eyes still looked at her, until her hair stood on end. After a long time, he smirked. “Mistaken? Maybe your body… will remember.”

His soft words were like a whisper, disappearing into the air.

His cold, slender fingers moved down her cheeks, stopping at her graceful slender neck, then going all the way, holding her slender waist above her clothes, the other hand releasing the button in front of her chest.

She immediately protected her chest. “Don’t!”

Was this person crazy? What did he mean her body might remember? She, Xia Yingluo, had never been touched by any man before and was a clean woman. He must have mistaken her!

She struggled and her breathing became so fast as she tried to escape from his imprisonment.

He stopped trying to unbutton her shirt but did not let her go, as if he was a cat who was teasing the mice under its claws. “Xia Yingluo, you’ve lost yourself to me, don’t tell me you don’t know what happens after you enter the hotel room?”

Her cheeks burned red, and she felt his breath lingering in her ears, her heart beating fast.

“I, of course I know.” She reluctantly calmed herself and said, “I, it’s my first time, so I’m a little nervous… Wei Lingnan, could you be gentler?” She plucked up her courage and looked at him pitifully.

He seems to find it very interesting. “Gentle?”

She was nervous and shivering but pretended it was nothing. She put one hand on his chest and said, “I’ll do it.”

He was undecided and looked at her like that.

She plucked up her courage and gently touched his body as she had seen in movies before. She felt his body temperature and firm muscles through his thin shirt cloth. It was a very strange touch, like slowly taming a beast under her hand. She was cautious at first but soon became obsessed with this feeling. She hooked her other hand around his neck and looked into his eyes, her breath unstable. “Are you satisfied?”

He still looked at her, his ice-like eyes unpredictable.

Xia Yingluo slowly wrapped both hands around his neck and made a strangling posture behind his head—her father had once taught her where she could twist the neck and misplace a human’s bones so that he would die effortlessly.

She would be very careful, very careful.

It wouldn’t kill him, she only wanted to make him lose his mobility.

Her fingers climbed up to his acupoints, and she was about to use force when suddenly, she was held down by one of his hands.

“I am a little angry now.” Wei Lingnan looked down at her eyes. He gripped her hands, slowly pulling them up and fixing them to the wall above her head. “It seems that you need a little lesson.”

She looked at him in horror. How did this man know what she was going to do?!

Although the self-defense her father had taught her was no deep mystery, she had hidden her intentions really well and there were not many people in the world who could see through her attempts. This man… was terrifying!

Wei Lingnan sneered. “I advise you not to play tricks, so you won’t suffer as much.”

With a quick movement, he tore open her clothes! The sturdy blend of long T-shirt was torn open with one hand like a torn cloth. The next second, Xia Yingluo only felt a whirlwind, and when she came back to her senses, she was thrown onto the big luxurious bed in the center of the room. Her bones were almost broken apart by the impact.

Her hair was messy and she struggled to get up, but she was immediately pinned down by him.

Xia Yingluo only felt like her thigh bones were going to be crushed by him. She exclaimed in pain and saw him tearing open the shirt on his body. Xia Yingluo suddenly opened her eyes in horror—under the ray of the chandelier, his slender body was crisscrossed with various scars. Each was deep and long, twisted and terrible, and it was indistinguishable what attack had caused it.

Especially his left chest, there was a scar running from the top down, as if tearing open his entire heart.

It was definitely a miracle that he was still alive!
