Overlord Tamer:I Only Tame Bosses

Chapter 108: Chapter 108 Bloom!

The entire hall was immediately thrown into shock, especially the students watching from the upper floors.

”Grandmaster Irmelia is here?! I have never seen her personally attend a selection ceremony before! This is the first time!” one of the last year students exclaimed in disbelief.

”Why is she here? Is that candidate actually that extraordinary?” another third-year student whispered nervously.

Countless whispers quickly spread throughout the hall. Even the candidates below understood that Grandmaster Irmelia was far from an ordinary figure. ℴℴ𝘮

Meanwhile, the other Grandmasters were also surprised by her sudden appearance, though they tried their best not to show too much shock outwardly.

To them, Irmelia was someone they did not fully understand. But at the same time, she was also someone that absolutely nobody wanted to provoke.

Meanwhile, Ronald himself was currently deep in thought. Originally, his arrangement had placed Klade as the final candidate of the ceremony because of both his fame and royal status. At that time, Ronald had never even heard of who Oliver was.

However, one day, completely out of nowhere, Irmelia personally came to meet him, something Ronald had never expected would happen.

And it was she herself who instructed him to place Oliver’s name as the very last candidate. Right now, just like everyone else within the hall, Ronald also wanted to know what exactly made Oliver so special.

Oliver looked upward toward Irmelia seated above him. She was the very person Irmine had spoken about, her sister. And also the woman who was technically Oliver’s biological mother.

Oliver slowly closed his eyes and focused deeply. Until this moment, he had still been hesitating over which monster he should summon.

But after seeing that Irmelia herself had appeared here, he no longer had any reason to hold back.

’I’ll summon my strongest monster!’

Oliver slowly extended both of his hands sideways. Then, he instantly opened his eyes and shouted loudly.

”Bloom! Floralia!”

A gigantic summoning array immediately appeared beneath him. At the exact same time, countless trees and flowers of various colors rapidly began growing from the ground.

They climbed upward along the pillars and spread throughout every floor of the hall. The entire Hall of Castillon was instantly transformed into a world of blooming nature.

Every person inside the hall was left shocked and mesmerized. The flowers released an incredibly calming and pleasant fragrance into the surroundings.

And from everyone’s mouths, only a single word escaped.

”Beautiful...”

At that moment, it felt as though they had all entered a sacred sanctuary.

”A domain!?” Grandmaster Nala exclaimed in complete shock. The other Grandmasters displayed similar expressions of disbelief, all except for Irmelia, who remained perfectly calm.

”To think someone like him can actually summon a domain. He truly is special and worthy of being the final candidate. He is the best one so far!” Grandmaster Zeon grinned excitedly.

A domain was the expansion of a monster’s power that transformed the surrounding environment into an area matching the monster’s element and abilities.

Only top-tier monsters and powerful boss monsters could achieve something like that.

Then suddenly, a gigantic closed flower slowly appeared high above the hall while pointing downward.

Moments later, the flower bloomed open. From within it emerged a beautiful humanoid female figure floating gracefully in the air.

Her mouth and nose were covered by a mask made from intertwining vines, while vines also wrapped around parts of her body, enhancing her mysterious and alluring appearance.

The moment she appeared, every powerful monster showcased before suddenly seemed overshadowed.

Oliver himself had specifically instructed Flora to conceal her face using vines in order to protect her true identity.

Everyone inside the hall was left utterly speechless. At that moment, even Klade unconsciously stood up from his seat due to sheer amazement. It honestly felt as though they were witnessing a painting come to life before their eyes.

’This reaction is exactly what I anticipated. Good job, Flora.’ Oliver thought inwardly.

He then gave Flora a small signal. Flora nodded slightly before instantly retracting the entire domain and disappearing from sight.

Countless colorful flower petals began falling gently toward the ground like rain. Many students and candidates immediately tried grabbing the petals excitedly.

Oliver slowly exhaled before looking forward calmly, waiting for the selection result. However, before he could even blink, Grandmaster Irmelia had already raised her hand.

The other Grandmasters were not even fully prepared yet. But after witnessing Irmelia’s action, they silently realized there was no point in raising their own hands anymore.

The outcome was already obvious.

”Well then... House Mythragon it is.” Oliver said calmly.

Irmelia then slowly stood up before immediately leaving the hall. It seemed she had only come here for one reason, to personally recruit Oliver.

After that, the other Grandmasters also began standing up and leaving one after another. With that, the selection ceremony was finally reaching its conclusion.

Oliver walked back toward his group when suddenly, Klade stepped forward and stopped him. Klade looked directly into Oliver’s eyes before offering his hand politely.

”I think we already know each other’s names by now. But just for formality’s sake. My name is Klade Azure. Nice to meet you.” he said.

”Oliver Overheart.” Oliver replied while accepting the handshake.

”We are both members of the same House now. Let’s work together and become the best.” Klade said with a confident smile.

”Sure.” Oliver answered casually before continuing his walk back toward Max and the others.

Max and the others still could not believe what they had just witnessed earlier. Max suddenly ran forward and wrapped his arm around Oliver’s neck excitedly.

”What the hell was that, man?! I have never seen anything like that before. It honestly felt... felt as though I was looking at a boss monster just now.” Max said in disbelief.

”It actually is a boss monster.” Oliver replied casually.

”Hahaha! You really know how to joke. I like that.” Max laughed loudly.

Oliver simply smiled after hearing that. Even if he told everyone the truth, nobody would believe him anyway. And honestly it was probably better this way.

Soon after, all the selected candidates began gathering according to their respective Academy Houses.

Among the total of one hundred and fifty accepted students, House of Mythragon surprisingly had the fewest members with only ten students.

Meanwhile, House Celestwynn possessed the largest number of students, reaching nearly fifty in total.

After that, Oliver and the other newly selected students all began heading toward their respective Houses.

However, while walking through the academy grounds, Oliver suddenly noticed a familiar face.

Auron.
