Star Rank Hunter

Chapter 231: Get Me That Cillin Kid [Part 1]

Cillin felt that Bel had fallen into a vicious loop. Why? It might be because Bel had spoken too much of his miserable past that he literally couldn’t stop talking right now.

Bel was talking about the seventh time he was beaten up by his dad and tossed into the royal army with Ulaganuo of the Snowstorm Wendyska Family to drill with the guards when his communicator rang.

The prince frowned and pressed the “Accept” button when he saw the unfamiliar number displayed on the screen of his communicator.

“Prince Scott Bel, Your Highness…” Tousen’s face appeared on the screen.

“Beep——”

Bel immediately cut off the connection the moment he saw Tousen’s face. He also blocked the number.

“Where were we just now?” Bel asked Cillin.

Cillin made a “7” with his finger.

“Oh right, we were talking about me being caught for the seventh time…”

Bel was just about to continue his story when his communicator rang again. This time, the number was Musso’s.

“What is it?” Bel asked impatiently.

Musso’s smile looked a little unnatural on the screen. “Your Highness, Tousen said…”

“Beep——”

Bel cut off the connection and pulled the communicator off his wrist. Then, he looked around the room and tossed the communicator into the furnace with a thud.

Cillin: “...”

Do you have to go that far?

Meanwhile, Musso was smiling wryly at the blank screen of the communicator. He turned around to the other side and faced Tousen on the screen.

“You saw the prince’s temper with your own eyes. He doesn’t give anyone face when he gets stubborn, not to mention that such a thing doesn’t exist between us and the prince to begin with.”

“Fine. I’ll contact Prince Gen Xingming directly and tell him to contact Prince Scott Bel himself.”

After Tousen cut off the connection, he crossed his legs, put them on the table and propped his chin with his finger.

He hadn’t actually sought out Bel to talk about Cillin just now; he was trying to pass on a message. Before he came to Baaelenbaatar, he had ran into Gen Xingming of the Fuji Gen Family on a planet, and Gen Xingming had told him to pass on a message to Bel when he sees him. But now, it would seem that Bel didn’t want to hear Tousen’s voice at all. He was guarding against Tousen like he was a thief.

The more Bel acted this way, the more curious Tousen became. Although he had fought Cillin for 2 seconds only, it was enough proof of Cillin’s strength already. Other than his ability to take apart his holstered gun without him noticing in a head on exchange, What other qualities did Cillin possess to win such preferential treatment from Bel?

Although Bel was an unreliable and an unusual prince who was prone to occasional stupid acts, no one in the royal family was an easy picking. Bel might look like a silly man sometimes, but he could be more cunning than a fox if he felt like it. Just why did Bel want to pull Cillin into the Blazing eagle Vogel Family so much?

Tousen looked at the information his subordinates had collected regarding Cillin. There was too little data, and it was impossible to figure out anything from it at all. Moreover, the Sizer Family obviously had a hand in this matter since Cillin’s information was made fuzzy. Just how capable was Cillin to be able to catch the eyes of a great noble family like the Sizer Family and the prince of the Blazing Eagle Vogel Family himself?

The military region joint exercise was rapidly approaching, and everyone in every military region was doing their best to excavate new blood with potential. If it wasn’t for this, Tousen wouldn’t have come to Baelenbaatar to try his luck. After all, every school had some special talents that they nurtured specifically for the use of the army. For example, some of the courses they prepared paved a path towards the military.

Baelenbaatar was Tousen’s fifth stop; he didn’t find anyone that was met his expectations during the previous four stops. Tousen hadn’t expected to find anyone too impressive in middle schools, so he never imagined that he would run into someone like Cillin.

The impression Cillin left him was unlike that of a student at all; he reminded him of the people in AF1 and AF2. However, Cillin also carried himself with an aura that obviously distinguished him from those people. But what was it that made him feel this way?

He was like a killer, but not a killer. He was like a student in AF1 and AF2, but he was obviously not part of their group either. He just couldn’t wrap his head around it.

Tousen’s dilemma was understandable. There were Hunters in Mist Bodhisattva Empire, but they were far, far inferior the Hunters in GAL both in terms of numbers and quality. In Mist Bodhisattva Empire, great nobles wielded absolute labor and physical resources. Moreover, the royal army and the united imperial defense troops wouldn’t allow a large organization that might potentially destabilize the empire like a Hunter regiment to appear either.

If someone needed some rare minerals to be found or an unknown star region to be unearthed and developed, the great nobles would simply spend money and hire some people to do the job. Naturally, the rewards of fell into the great nobles’ pocket too.

That was why Cillin the Hunter couldn’t be understood by anyone in this place.

Failing to figure out anything useful, Tousen grabbed his communicator and entered a series of characters and symbols. They looked like a password lock.

Not long after, the line connected as a beautiful blonde with a sexy figure appeared on the screen.

“Yo, my little Tousen. Where did you find the time to call me? Ever since you left you haven’t contacted us even once. We miss you so much, you know!”

Had Tousen been someone else, her tempting words would’ve caused their imagination to run wild. But Tousen shivered as he hastily put on a smile and said, “Please don’t, Mrs Griffin. I seriously can’t handle you or the other teachers.”

Although Tousen had studied at AF3, he once went to AF1 and AF2 while he was still studying to receive training. Those training sessions turned out to be very useful when Tousen performed some military missions later on. This golden-haired beauty named Griffin was one of the people who trained him back then.

Griffin was a teacher in AF2. Although she had a sexy figure that made her look like she was just over twenty years old, she was in fact almost as old as Tousen’s grandmother. Moreover her skills were extremely deadly, and she wore the badge of a colonel.

Tousen couldn’t help but shiver again when he recalled the tragedy that was his training period.

“Mrs Griffin, I’m calling you today to check on a person with you.”
