Rebirth of the Godly Prodigal

“Dear viewers, our military fighters are currently communicating closely with the aliens…”

While the reporters at the outer area of Tianjing Mountain were desperately reporting, they all regretted it afterward…

Without any signs, the military helicopter in the sky fired two missiles. It was already quite near the UFO, and before the reporters had even finished speaking, the two missiles had already accurately aimed and shot the target!

Boom—!!!

A set of fierce explosions sounded. A big fireball in the sky immediately exploded, and blazes of fire burned in the sky, like a second sun.

Of course, this sun burned for too short a period of time, such that everyone on the ground hadn’t even had time to react, and that legendary UFO had already completely disappeared…

Pilot: “…” Reporters: “…” Onlookers: “…”

After a short while of silence, the reporters started to change their tones. “Dear viewers, the UFO has opened fire first at our military fighters, but our military fighters didn’t get injured at all, and at the same time, fired back two missiles and directly bombed the UFO to ashes. This is the end of this report, see you tonight!” They finished saying that in one breath, after which they turned and left. “What are you still standing there for? Hurry up and leave!”

The personnel carrying the camera hadn’t reacted to the situation yet. “Ah? We’re leaving just like that?”

“Rubbish!” The reporter hurriedly went into the car as he anxiously said, “They’re already opening fire, are you staying here to wait to be bombed to death? God knows whether there’s only one alien that has come here or a bunch of them…”

“Yes yes yes, I’ll leave right away!” The working personnel immediately got into the car. “Go quickly!”

In the sky.

“This… It ended just like this?” The pilot stared at the empty sky in front of him. “Have we saved the world or ignited a huge war?”

“It should be… that we’ve saved the world…” His comrade was still rather unsure. “When we came, those from above instructed that safety must be our utmost priority. In emergency situations, we can choose to solve it by military means. Looking at it now, it seems like our choice was correct? At least this has let us know that the defense of this alien surveillance aircraft is not very good. Initially, I thought that there would be some sort of protective shield…”

“That means that nothing will happen to us?” The pilot carefully asked. “It should be the case.”

“Then, that’s good. Come, let’s go back!”

…

The top floor of Tianjing University’s school building.

“What the heck, they fired!” The person holding the telescope looked at the others and shouted loudly, “A UFO! It has been bombed into ashes by our military fighters! Looks like the defense equipment of that UFO is not very advanced, haha!”

“Did you record the scene just now?” Another person asked.

“Of course! How would I possibly miss such an opportunity!”

“Upload it to the internet, what are you waiting for?!”

“OK OK OK, I’ll do it right away!”

…

Tianjing Mountain, in the forest.

“What… What the heck! My airplane model!” Hong Dali was fuming with rage. “How could those people open fire just like that! What the heck, was it easy for me to make such a good toy model? Was it easy for me!”

Little Wang Mo was on the verge of crying. “Big Bro Dali, the plane has been bombed. Sob sob sob. What should we do?”

“What else can we do!” Hong Dali furiously said, “Damn it, my toy model! It’s really expensive! And it’s been bombed to nothing just like that! No, I can’t let it slide just like that. I’ll go find Uncle Chief and ask him for compensation!”

Hong Dali grabbed his smartphone and was preparing to make the call when suddenly, he saw that there were three missed calls. “What? I’ve forgotten about this, let me see who has called… Bureau Chief?!”

He hurriedly returned the call. Hong Dali grinned and asked, “Is it Uncle Chief? It’s me, Hong Dali! Uncle Chief, are you free now? I’ve got something to ask for your help…”

“You rascal,” The Bureau Chief at the other end of call harshly said, “Just now you didn’t answer all three of my calls, and now you’ve only thought of me when you need my help? Say it, what’s the matter?”

“Ah, it’s like this!” Hong Dali sweated profusely. “It’s like this, I was playing with my airplane model at the outer area of Tianjing Mountain. Then, for some unknown reason, three military helicopters appeared. I was thinking of going closer to take a closer look at them, when suddenly, they bombed my plane without any hesitation! My toy model is really expensive, Uncle Chief. What do you think should be done?”

“The outer area of Tianjing Mountain? Airplane model?” The Bureau Chief carefully asked, “Is that airplane model silvery white in color, quite cool and quite sci-fi like? And it doesn’t have a propeller?”

“Yes! But it does have a propeller, it’s just that it’s inside the airplane model,” Hong Dali said in shock. “Uncle Chief, you even know about this?”

“You brat!” The Bureau Chief was instantly furious. “I knew it was definitely your doing! Do you know what huge trouble you’ve caused! Now the entire world thinks that it was a UFO! They’ve all thought that the aliens have gone to Tianjing Mountain! And now you tell me that it was an airplane model?! I was exactly calling you just now to ask whether it was one of your doings, and you didn’t even answer the call!”

“Uh…” Hong Dali placed the smartphone half a meter away from himself. “That… Uncle Chief, calm down, calm down… That, then what about my airplane model? You have to serve me justice on that, right? It’s not against the law for me to play with models…” Speaking up to this point, Hong Dali sniffled. “I still have quite a lot of them here. If you don’t do something for me, I’ll make sure that they fill the skies and let everyone think that the aliens have really invaded!”

“You rascal!” The Bureau Chief was speechless. “You can’t part with just a mere airplane model? Do you know how much money those two missiles cost? One bomb costs 500,000 yuan! Would that model of yours be more expensive than the missiles?”

“Of course, it’s more expensive!” Hong Dali said matter-of-factly. “Would my things be cheap?”

That was true, this fellow could squander in all kinds of ways. Moreover, this plane could fly so high up and it even looked so cool…

“Forget it, where are you now? Don’t move, wait for me. I’ll be there right away.” After speaking, the Bureau Chief hung up the call.

“Hey, hey!” Hong Dali furiously threw the phone away. “What the heck! He hasn’t said anything about how to compensate for my plane and has already hung up!”

His lackey went to retrieve the phone. Hong Dali was still angry. “After he comes, I must get a fair sum of money from him!”

Just then, Tang Muxin felt that something was wrong. “Dali, Uncle Chief said just now that the whole world thinks that that was a UFO. This, it couldn’t be true, right?”

“How would I know?” Hong Dali thought for a while. “But judging from the appearance of our remote control airplane, it does look somewhat like a UFO… Forget it, come come come. Everyone, get a plane each, let’s play together! Control them all well, I want them to be in an ‘S’ shaped formation at one point of time, then a ‘B’ shaped formation at another…”

Everyone instantly joked and laughed as they went to take the remote controls to prepare to play. Hong Dali comforted little Wang Mo. “It’s alright, I have a bunch of airplane models here, we can play one of them and bomb the other, don’t fret! After we get back, I’ll give you another one for you to play at home!”

This time, little Wang Mo was finally happy. “Thank you, Big Bro Dali!”

Everyone played with the models together, and in no time, they had lined up a whole 10 perfect-grade airplane models. Of course, their quality was still a little lacking compared to that first one that was bombed. But anyway, it wasn’t a big difference…

Not long after they started playing, the sound of a helicopter’s propeller sounded, and a military helicopter landed on a grass patch not far away. Once the Bureau Chief got off the plane, he pointed at Hong Dali and scolded. “Little brat, you’ve played it too big this time, don’t you know! You’re still playing! Any more of this and it will create fear all around. Would you be able to bear the consequences?!”

“Uncle Chief has come?” Hong Dali grinned and pointed at the sky. “Uncle, look, I’ve told them to form an ‘S’ shaped formation at one point of time, a ‘B’ shaped formation for another…”

Bureau Chief: “…”

Silent tears rolled down his face, and by his ear was the sound of a camel’s bell 1 …

The Bureau Chief raged. “Hurry up and make those planes land. I’ve really got something serious to talk to you this time!”

“Oh…” Hong Dali asked everyone to make the planes land, and then asked, “Uncle Chief, what are you here for? Let’s talk in the car.”

“Alright, you little rascal…” As the Bureau Chief got onto the car, he chided Hong Dali. “Luckily I found out early. If not, this matter would be magnified on a global scale!”

After the two of them got onto the car, the Bureau Chief asked, “You little rascal, where did you get that airplane model? Don’t tell me it’s a production of the toy factory. It’s definitely impossible that a toy factory would have the technology to be able to control the airplane model from a distance up to over 1000 meters.”

“This?” Hong Dali glanced around and, after seeing that there was nobody around, he grinned and said, “Of course, it was reformed by Chuyin. How would the toy factory have this type of technology? They only produced the outer layer and the basic spare parts, while the core parts are all manufactured from my laboratory.”

“This makes more sense.” The Bureau Chief nodded. “I’ll not go further into whether what you’re saying is true or not. Let me ask you, is this technology in your hands now?”

I’m the only one who knows how to do machine breakdown, assembly, and transformation in the whole wide world. Of course, it’s in my hands!

Hong Dali fiercely nodded. “Of course!”

“That’s good!” The Bureau Chief thought for a while, then continued, “Dali, listen carefully. The matter this time is a serious one. To put it seriously, this would cause fear and terror among the people, and you’d have to go to jail!”

“Uncle Chief, you’re too mean.” Hong Dali pouted. “If it would land me in jail, would you still have managed to come?”

“Little rascal,” The Bureau Chief was angered to the point of amusement. “You’re really good at not disadvantaging yourself.”

“I get disadvantaged every day.” Hong Dali continued to pout. “The airplane has been bombed, yet you’re not even compensating me.”

“Do you believe that I’ll really smack you!” The Bureau Chief now only felt that Hong Dali was extremely detestable. “I’ll stop taking nonsense with you. For the UFO incident this time, initially, according to the normal procedure, we’d only need to block all the news of this issue and clarify all rumors. But these are not all that I’m thinking of!”
