Dimensional Keeper: All My Skills Are at Level 100

Chapter 1278  Desperate Demons

As time continued to pass, the battlefield shifted steadily in favor of the human geniuses. The once overwhelming waves of demons gradually began to thin. Every attack from the seven squads carved deeper pieces out of the advancing army, and the corpses of fallen demons accumulated across the field in dark heaps.

Victorʼs thunderous fist strikes crushed demon after demon, and each impact sent shockwaves that scattered nearby monsters before they could reform their lines. Michaelʼs lightning pierced through clusters of demon warriors with relentless precision, and the spiraling bolts created gaping holes in the demonic formation.

Seraphinaʼs golden flames spread across the ground like a radiant tide, burning through the flesh of every creature that dared approach her squad. Danielʼs shadows consumed their enemies without mercy, swallowing demon bodies until they simply vanished inside the dark fire.

Chris and Christine alternated between freezing and incinerating entire sections of demons, while Arthurʼs swords hovered above the battlefield and moved with decisive authority, slicing through the charging beasts before they could reach his squad.

With every passing minute, the demons grew fewer. Their screams became scattered and chaotic as their confidence shattered beneath the relentless assault. What had begun as a monstrous horde capable of shaking the earth was now a diminishing mass that struggled to maintain any cohesion.

The controlled unity of the human squads, guided by the lessons Max had drilled into them earlier, proved devastating. Their formation did not falter even once, and the pressure they exerted pushed the demon army into full retreat within the confined spatial barrier Max had created.

The demons tried to pull back, but every attempt ended with them slamming helplessly against the sealed boundary or being caught by the next bombardment of elemental attacks.

As the demon numbers dwindled, the attention of the squad leaders finally shifted toward something they had been too focused to notice earlier. For the first half of the battle, they had poured all their energy into cutting through endless waves of demons.

Only now, as the battlefield cleared enough for the horizon to become visible again, did they notice the demon leaders who had remained behind the collapsing frontline. These leaders had watched the battle with increasing fear, especially after realizing the humans were not weakening but growing more coordinated.

Their tall, imposing forms stood out clearly against the disordered ranks of their failing army. The pressure they emitted revealed the truth that several of them possessed power on the same level as the human squad leaders, yet they did not step forward. Their hesitation made their fear obvious.

Seraphina shifted her gaze toward them first. They were a total of six of them. Her eyes narrowed as she studied their posture, and she immediately sensed the anxiety radiating from their bodies.

”They seemed to be afraid of something.” She said solemnly.

Michael noticed her distraction and looked in the same direction, quickly understanding the situation. ”Of course they will be afraid. They are losing this battle or this war.”

Danielʼs dark flames stirred restlessly around him as he examined the demon leaders who remained huddled together, trying to keep distance from both the battlefield and Max.

Chris and Christine turned their attention toward them as well, realizing these leaders had been watching for an opportunity rather than participating in the battle. Arthur shifted slightly in the air and moved closer to the others to get a better view of the demon command structure that now stood exposed.

The humans did not need long to understand why the demon leaders had refused to act. They glanced briefly toward Max, who remained floating steadily above the battlefield. His presence alone was enough to paralyze the demons who were strong enough to recognize him.

The demon leaders exchanged uneasy glances among themselves, and some of them took small steps backward, clearly hoping for a chance to escape now that the demon army had suffered devastating losses.

However, with the battlefield locked by Maxʼs 5th level space concept, escape was not possible. The realization weighed heavily on the demons, and a growing sense of dread washed over them as they watched their army collapse and their chances of survival fade with every passing moment.

The squad leaders, finally free from the chaos of constant attacks, now focused fully on the remaining enemy elites. Their eyes sharpened. Their auras rose once again. The final phase of the battle was about to begin.

”Letʼs go and finish them too,” Victor said with a confident smile as he looked toward the remaining demon leaders who stood in the distance. Their oppressive auras, once intimidating, had diminished under the crushing reality that their army had already fallen.

Michael glanced at the demon leaders and then at their own group. ”Wait, who will fight who?” he asked with genuine curiosity. ”There are five demon leaders and seven of us.” He narrowed his eyes slightly, attempting to judge the strength of each demon, but the chaos of the earlier battle made it difficult to gauge their exact levels.

Victor paused for a moment, considering the situation with more seriousness than usual. After a brief silence, he said, ”Seraphina and I will not participate in the fight against the demon leaders. You five go ahead and kill them.”

His tone carried trust rather than doubt. He knew the five of them were strong enough individually, and together they were more than capable of handling the enemy elites.

By staying out of the battle, he was also allowing them the opportunity to gain experience against high-level enemies.

Arthur, Daniel, Michael, Chris, and Christine exchanged brief smiles. Their exhaustion had faded enough for their fighting spirit to return, and the chance to eliminate the demon leaders stirred a strong determination within them.

The five of them stepped forward, rising slightly higher into the air before shooting across the battlefield toward the demon elites who had been watching them with anxious anticipation.

The demon leaders immediately sensed the five approaching geniuses. Their bodies tensed, and their auras flared outward in self-defense. Each demon released their power in an attempt to create a pressure barrier, but it did nothing to slow the five humans.

When the two sides finally clashed, the air between them erupted with shockwaves that rippled across the sealed battlefield.
