Dimensional Keeper: All My Skills Are at Level 100

Chapter 1268  Battle!

Their figures streaked across the rotten skies of Nullaria, each wrapped in their own aura of power, each carrying the blazing intensity of those who had just reached the peak of Divine Rank.

The valley below shuddered as they descended. Demonic roars erupted from within the dark stone tunnels. The demons were caught off guard for only a heartbeat before they swarmed outward in a wave of bone, claws, and corrosive energy.

The battle erupted instantly.

Victorʼs squad hit the ground first. Victor landed like a meteor, his fist driving into the earth and sending a shockwave across the valley floor. Dozens of demons were blasted backward, their bodies skidding across the jagged green surface. Before they could stand again Victor had already shouted for his squad.

”Spread and strike from the flanks. Do not stay still!”

His squad responded with precision. Arthurʼs squad came from the right and enveloped the demons with wind-infused sword light that moved like a blur. Seraphinaʼs squad filled the air with golden arrows that shot in scattered, curving paths, illuminating the battlefield with bright trails.

Each arrow pierced through multiple demons before dispersing into motes of light. Daniel and his group handled the defensive line. They erected barriers of light that blocked the corrosive blasts demons fired back at them.

The demons were ferocious. They charged without regard for injury or strategy, their bodies moving with violent, animalistic hunger. Some had twisted limbs shaped like serrated blades. Others were larger, their scales covered in dripping darkness that corroded the ground wherever it touched.

Despite their chaotic nature the demons were strong, stronger than any monsters in Acaris. They clawed, tore, and hurled chunks of corrupted stone at the charging humans.

Christineʼs squad moved with remarkable coordination. She shouted instructions sharply, her presence calming her members. When a demon lunged toward one of her younger members, she intercepted it with her spear, the weapon piercing directly through its skull.

She used the demonʼs collapsing body as a platform and leaped into the air to strike two others behind it. Meanwhile Chris used his blazing fire domain to burn down groups of demon fodder who tried to surround their flank.

Michaelʼs squad moved like a storm. He was the calmest leader of the seven. Whenever a member of his squad was in danger he moved with flawless timing, intercepting blows, redirecting attacks, or pushing his teammates into safer positions without wasting a single word.

A few of the younger geniuses panicked in front of a large demon that emerged from the tunnel mouth. The creature was the size of a house with three horns and a chest that glowed with demonic runes. It charged at them with a scream.

Michael stepped in front of them. His hand rose slowly and a dense wave of lightning exploded outward. The blast threw the large demon off its feet and ripped its chest apart. Before the creature could regain its balance two members of his squad darted forward and finished it off.

High above all of them, Max observed in silence.

His figure hovered without sound. His aura was completely withdrawn. In this silent state even an Ascendant walking beneath him would never realize he was there. His eyes followed the battlefield with calm analysis.

He watched how Victor took initiative and crushed the frontline to open space for his team. He watched how Seraphina used her arrows to guide her squadʼs movement, forcing demons into positions where her people had the advantage.

He watched how some of the younger geniuses hesitated, their inexperience showing even though they possessed enormous power. He paid attention to how each squad leader reacted, how they guided their teams with different styles. He noted every weakness that appeared, not to criticize them but to help them later.

ʼClearly not all the demons here are peak Divine Rank and yet some of our geniuses showed hesitation and weakness against them.ʼ Max noted this down. It happened because of lack of experience in the Divine Rank. They were only at peak Mythic Rank a while ago and then all of a sudden they reach peak Divine Rank. Even though they possessed enough power they werenʼt used to it like these demons do.

ʼThey would need a lot of battle to get use to their true strength.ʼ Max thought calmly.

The battle grew more chaotic. More demons emerged from within the dark tunnels. Their shadows grew dense as they poured out of the lair like a flood of corrupted life. Some demons clung to the cliff walls and leaped downward to bite at the humans from above. Others spat streams of corrosive darkness that tore the ground apart.

The squads adapted. Victorʼs group formed rotating circles that switched positions constantly to confuse the enemies. Arthurʼs squad moved behind the demons—swift, deadly, cutting down every exposed back. Seraphinaʼs rain of arrows created shifting walls of light that disrupted the demonsʼ coordination.

For every demon the geniuses struck down, three more appeared. Yet none of them faltered. They shouted to one another, covered each otherʼs blind spots, and slowly grew accustomed to the demonsʼ style of attack. The battlefield turned into a distorted arena of flying debris, violent explosions, and streaks of divine light.

Max hovered, completely still. His eyes followed every strike, every mistake, every clever move. His expression carried no worry, no urgency. He knew this was the beginning. This was their first trial. If they could not handle this, they would never be able to face the horrors waiting deeper inside Nullaria.

When one of the younger geniuses nearly got ripped apart by a demon hiding in the shadows, Daniel intercepted with a barrier that repelled the attack. Christine shouted at her squad to adjust formation. Michael calmly handled a surprise assault. Arthur sliced through a demon that tried to escape. Seraphina shot down a winged demon before it could dive.

All while Max remained above them.

And quietly, but unmistakably, he allowed himself a small nod.

They were improving already.

But it wasnʼt a challenging battle for them. The demons in this lair were in the Divine Rank sure but only a few of them were in the peak of Divine Rank. And for the human geniuses who were all at the peak of Divine Rank, this battle was rather easy for them.
