Supreme Harem God System

“Do you really think your father and I would fight and put you through the pain of choosing one of us?”

“You made that fox choose.”

“She wasn’t my wife.

My wives have special privileges.”

“What a coincidence.

My daughter has special privileges as well.”

Azriel smiled, and hearing his words, Aeliana glanced at her father with a smile on her face.

Faustina and the Progenitors calmed down. Nux’s wives were the same; the situation seemed to have eased up.

Amaya, on the other hand, frowned in confusion.

“So how does this work?”

The Devourer then glanced at Azriel and questioned directly,

“The Universe chose you to stop Nux. If you two don’t go against each other and Nux continues to devour what belongs to the Universe as he is doing right now, wouldn’t it put your position in jeopardy?

The Universe saved your life. I highly doubt it doesn’t have the means to take it away. If Nux continues to act as he pleases, won’t the Universe target you instead?

Or do you want Nux to back down?”

Once again, the atmosphere shifted.

This time, the ones who were tense were Nux’s wives, especially the ones he hadn’t taken into his Universe yet.

If Nux was forced to back down because of Azriel…

Wouldn’t this mean they would never be connected to him?

They couldn’t accept this.

No, more than that, they knew Nux would never accept it.

The women turned towards Nux, who, instead of showing any reaction, was staring at Azriel.

“My wives are losing their minds, Father-in-Law.

So stop with the games and get on with it.

What’s the plan?

Why did you come here?”

Nux wasn’t sure what the Universe was planning, and honestly, he didn’t care. After all, he knew what sort of man his Father-in-Law was. He knew Azriel would never truly go against him because of how much he loved his daughter.

The very fact that he was here after being chosen as the Universe’s Protector told him that he had come with a plan.

A middle ground where both of them could get what they wanted.

After all, this was the type of beings the two of them were.

They didn’t make choices; they grabbed what they wanted or died trying.

And Nux was correct.

The Vampire Progenitor had a plan.

“Do you not see how weak I have gotten?”

He questioned.

“How am I supposed to stop the Anomaly when I am in this state?”

“So that’s your play?”

Nux raised his eyebrow, impressed.

“Devour your wives’ connection with the Universe.”

Azriel ordered.

“And don’t do it inside the Reaper’s Veil.

Do it right here.

Challenge the Universe by targeting the people of its Protector’s previous world. Oh, and while you are at it,

Devour these old bastards too. They have fed off Yrniel for far too long. It is time they became somewhat useful.”

Nux’s expression changed.

“You want me to devour everyone?”

“You have enough spots, don’t you?”

Azriel questioned back.

“I do.”

“Then what’s with the questioning? Do what I tell you to.

Or have you grown an extra pair of balls just because I have become somewhat weaker than before?”

“Come on, Father-in-Law. You know it is not like that.”

Nux smiled at those words.

“I’ve always had an extra pair of balls. Your strength never mattered.”

“…”

“…”

Everyone turned silent. Inwardly, however, everyone nodded at those words. After all, this brat went against Azriel when he was merely a Saint.

When had he ever shown restraint?

If anything, he had become somewhat calmer compared to the troublemaker he was before.

Azriel, however, was unamused.

He simply stared at Nux with an expressionless look on his face, and Nux felt his body tremble.

For some reason, his Father-in-Law’s gaze still felt intimidating.

“Alright, alright, I’ll do what you say.”

He nodded.

“But are you sure the Universe wouldn’t target Yrniel if I do that?”

Nux questioned one last time.

He was getting what he so desperately wanted just like that. It all felt… underwhelming.

His mind was full of doubts and questions.

What if something went wrong?

Azriel, however, just waved his hand in dismissal.

“The Universe won’t react to your actions anymore.

It has given that authority to me.”

He revealed nonchalantly.

“What…?

Does this mean… you can destroy worlds using the Universe’s power now…?”

“Yes. Now, would you get to what I told you to do and stop annoying me?”

Azriel nodded as if it wasn’t a big deal.

For the first time in his life, Nux realized why people hated him every time he did something absurd and dismissed the matter as if it wasn’t a big deal.

His mouth twitched without stop as he stared at his Father-in-Law. Then, he asked another question,

“Does this mean you can get rid of the Supreme Worlds too?”

“I can.”

Azriel nodded.

“But it’s not easy. The Supreme Worlds are closest to the Universe. If I wish to destroy them, I need a strong reason.

Not that it matters. It is only a matter of time before I become strong enough to deal with them on my own.”

The Vampire Progenitor shrugged.

“What does that mean?”

Nux narrowed his eyes.

He was used to Azriel’s arrogance, but this time, something felt different…

It was as if… he was missing something.

Something this man wasn’t telling him.

And hearing his question, Azriel grinned.

“I am no longer connected to Yrniel.”

“Yes, I know that. It also means you are free to move, even when you regain all your powers.”

Nux nodded. Azriel, however, shook his head.

“That is not it.”

“Huh…?”

“The Universe chose me. My Blood Essence, which was once connected with Yrniel, is now connected with the very Universe.”

“And what does that mean…?”

“It means that I am not part of Yrniel’s cultivation bridge anymore,

I now walk on the Universe’s Cultivation Bridge.

Meaning that the restrictions that have been placed on me by the Universe have now been released,

I have no limits,

I can grow as much as I want, just like you.”

The Vampire Progenitor’s grin widened even further as he stared at his son-in-law and,

“The race is on, brat.

And this time, it will be much fairer.”
