Immortality begin with Alchemy Grandmaster

Chapter 2368: Chapter 869: Alchemy Sect, You’ve Gone Too Far!

Peacock Island!

A fairly well-known Third Order Spirit Land in the Fenghua District.

Not large, but quite exquisite and beautiful.

A Golden Core Sect was established here, also named Peacock Island.

However, in recent decades, this Sect was forced to relocate to an extremely barren ordinary Spirit Land.

The reason is simple, Peacock Island was once occupied by the Five Elements Divine Sect.

Recently, seven to eight hundred members of Peacock Island have returned.

”Finally, we’re back!”

The Sect Leader of Peacock Island stood on a mountain, wings spread as if ready to fly, with a tone filled with bitterness.

After being occupied by the Five Elements Divine Sect and then enduring the Beast Tide impact in the Fenghua District, the once-strong Peacock Island can now barely gather even a thousand people.

Nearby, the only remaining Golden Core Elder consoled: ”Sect Leader, do not despair, as long as we are here and the Spirit Land is here, there will always be a time for recovery.”

Hearing this, the Sect Leader of Peacock Island nodded heavily, forcing himself to rally his spirits.

”Yes, we must not let our legacy decline, we must revive it once more.”

”I have three strategies to discuss with you, Elder, perhaps you might give some advice.”

”First, open the mountain gates widely and recruit many mortals with Spirit Roots and rogue cultivators with clear backgrounds to replenish our Sect’s living strength.”

”Second, make some adjustments to the Sect’s resources, first slightly reducing the monthly stipend for Early Stage Foundation Establishment Cultivators and concentrate cultivation resources on late-stage Foundation Establishment disciples like Xue Xiao and others to help them quickly condense the Golden Core. This way, our Peacock Island can once again gather the number of three great Golden Core Cultivators and return to the ranks of the Great Sects.”

”Thirdly, at this time when everything is in need of rejuvenation, several Nascent Soul Ascendant Sects are attempting to hold an Open War. We might also participate to gain some long-term benefits.”

Hearing the three strategies, the experienced and prudent Elder couldn’t help but stroke his beard in agreement.

The Sect Leader’s three strategies are quite solid.

Not only do they respect the past, but they are also grounded in the present, even taking into account the future distribution of benefits after the Open War.

With such a Sect Leader, what worry is there for the future prosperity of Peacock Island?

However, there are still some details that need to be considered carefully.

”Most mortals on the frontline have died, so if we are to recruit Sect Disciples, we must go to other Great Territories at the rear. Such cross-territory recruitment of mortals could easily offend other Sects, so we must act carefully.”

”Cultivating Golden Core Cultivators should not be approached with a wide net; in my opinion, the focus should be on Xue Xiao, Lu Jun, and Shu Miaomiao.”

”As for participating in the Open War...”

The Elder fell into contemplation, expressing his concerns.

Currently, those clearly preparing to hold an Open War include the Five Elements Divine Sect, Mount Sky Cliff, Luo Tian Sect, Jiuling Sect, and Shen Fu Sect. Given Peacock Island’s weak strength, they naturally cannot spread their investments thin; they must carefully choose one to stake everything on.

After the event, even if they don’t gain a Spirit Land, securing one or two shops could still provide a stable source of income.

So, who should they choose?

Just as the two hesitated, an exclamation suddenly came from afar.

The two instinctively looked up.

They saw a massive dark cloud slowly moving across the sky, flying towards Lingtian Pass.

It seemed slow, but in reality, its speed was extremely fast!

In just a moment of distraction, the dark cloud was already above Peacock Island.

”Is that a flying ship?” The Sect Leader of Peacock Island gaped, captivated by the sight.

The Golden Core Elder looked up to see hundreds of cultivators standing on one corner of the ship.

Some of the men were handsome and valiant, while the women were graceful and beautiful; they lacked the arrogance of Ascendant Sects but also showed no signs of timid weakness.

Each one had an unyielding expression, with a steady breath, as if Taishan were collapsing in front of them without a change in demeanor.

Such a demeanor was markedly different from those of various other Sects.

Especially after the hundred and fifty years of the Human-Demon War, where many cultivators were somewhat anxious, few maintained such calmness.

”Which Sect’s cultivators are these?”

The Sect Leader of Peacock Island snapped back to reality, instinctively uttering three words.

”Luo Tian Sect!”

The Golden Core Elder suddenly realized, the reputation of Luo Tian Sect’s cultivators had always been excellent despite their small numbers, aligning with the description heard.

With such demeanor, even if their realm is not high, they are bound to achieve great success in the future.

If the Luo Tian Sect settles down and recuperates well, it will surely prosper!

”Have they started the Open War?”

”It seems so; look at the flags above, Pan Shi Gang, Sky Wolf Association... even Gale Valley is involved.”

”Gale Valley wasn’t it destroyed by the Beast Tide?”

”Even our Peacock Island preserved some strength by luck, not to mention Gale Valley which has a mountain gate to rely on?”

”So many Golden Core Sects have gone; how can our Peacock Island lag behind? For this Open War, let’s stake it on the Luo Tian Sect!”

The Golden Core Elder no longer hesitated; after discussing with the Sect Leader, he personally gathered the elite cultivators to follow them.

Peacock Island’s number of cultivators was not large, only about a hundred, trailing far behind the Tianhe Lingxu Ship.

Their strength was too weak; the Nascent Soul Ascendant Sects wouldn’t notice them, thus they couldn’t take a seat.

But the Open War also had some unwritten rules.

As long as they participated and assisted the Nascent Soul Ascendant Sects, even if they only made modest requests after settling a territory, they would often be granted some favor.

Thus, in one Open War, although only a few formally participated, the number of cultivators often reached hundreds of thousands to millions!

A few were eligible to feast, but many could at least drink some soup.

The Luo Tian Sect staged quite an impressive array this time!

Not only did they have the firm support from the Tiandu Sect and Fenghua Palace, but even more from the personal appeal of the Alchemy Sect.
