Immortality begin with Alchemy Grandmaster

Chapter 1285: Chapter 489: The Mirror Flower, Water Moon Annihilates the Wolf King!_2

So, his cultivation progress had barely reached [8/100].

And just now, after a session of cultivation, Luo Chen, with his keen divine consciousness, had already acutely judged his cultivation speed.

”Overall, it has increased by about six times!”

Regarding this data, Luo Chen was very satisfied, but also a bit dissatisfied.

A six-fold increase in cultivation speed meant that his initially estimated thirty years to advance to the Golden Core Second Layer could be shortened to five or six years, assuming no unexpected incidents occurred.

Advancing a minor realm in five or six years was unheard of if spoken aloud.

You should know that this is the Golden Core Period, where usually it takes several decades or even a century to make even minor progress!

It was precisely because of this that Luo Chen was very satisfied.

However, his dissatisfaction lay in the fact that the costs were simply too great!

”The cost of materials for concocting a batch of Starry Pills is about two thousand.”

”To concoct a batch of top-grade Starry Pills, at least ten batches of materials are needed, meaning the cost is twenty thousand Spirit Stones!”

”Spread over each pill, it’s still two thousand.”

”This means that just for elixirs consumed, I would have to spend two thousand a day, sixty thousand a month, seven hundred thousand a year!”

”And that’s just the cost price. Ordinary Golden Core cultivators struggle even to find third-order cultivation pills, let alone top-grade third-order elixirs. If they were to buy them with Spirit Stones, I could sell them one bottle for fifty to sixty thousand, or even seventy to eighty thousand at an auction!”

”If I include the rent for a third-order middle-grade cave mansion, it’s over a million a year... but let’s not count that, as my current immortal mansion doesn’t cost anything.”

”Such a vast expense has been incurred for a six-fold increase in cultivation speed.”

After calculating his financial situation,

Luo Chen sighed.

No wonder cultivators have such high demand for Spirit Lands after advancing to the Golden Core, yet their demand for elixirs decreases.

It’s not that they truly don’t need them, but rather that they are priceless and hard to come by!

Those legendary Pill Refinement Grandmasters also could not possibly elevate a third-order pill to top-grade level as easily as him.

Even so, ordinary Golden Core cultivators are still eager and desperate for even low-grade third-order cultivation pills.

It’s such scarcity that has made the status of high-level alchemists so esteemed.

As a rogue pill refiner like him, who had no sect affiliation before, as soon as he advanced to the Golden Core Period, followers flocked to him, and many of his peers took the initiative to build friendly ties with him.

When it was time to form an alliance, it was also effortless, with practically no difficulties.

He shook his head.

Luo Chen cast aside these thoughts.

He seriously planned his next steps.

With the current business of the Luotian Sect, he could earn at most five hundred thousand Spirit Stones a year, which included the Jade Dew Pill dealings with the Ice Castle.

Moreover, it looks like this five hundred thousand Spirit Stones may even need to be discounted.

That is because of the continued investment required to improve the environment of the Sect Spirit Lands.

The Luotian Sect will also need to invest at least a hundred thousand Spirit Stones into it every year.

This means that roughly only four hundred thousand would actually reach Luo Chen’s hands.

And his annual consumption for cultivation, not counting other killer moves, just for elixirs, would take up seven hundred thousand.

This inflow and outflow created a deficit of three hundred thousand Spirit Stones.

”I can cover it with my savings for a short time,”

”But for sustainable development...”

After some thought, Luo Chen came to a conclusion.

He still needed to continue concocting pills and selling them!

Forget the low-rank pills, just sell the Starry Pills!

It’s simple and easy; while concocting top-grade Starry Pills for himself, he could just casually concoct a batch of ordinary lower-grade Starry Pills.

There’s a big market for such pills.

Not to say too much, but just within the Luo Tian Alliance, Di Wuqi and Jiang Yu would definitely be willing to spend a lot to purchase them.

With their strength and demand, one bottle a month, with a market price of five thousand per bottle, would make sixty thousand a year, so both of them together would make one hundred and twenty thousand.

Cen Qiusheng, being older and with no hope for The Great Dao Path, probably needs less.

Set aside a budget of thirty thousand Spirit Stones for him.

Fu Jiusheng, on the other hand, give him a discount, let’s say twenty percent off!

After all, he is part of the internal staff, and it’s normal to have some benefits.

Plus, I promised five bottles for free every year.

So, between them, that amounts to a budget of about thirty thousand Spirit Stones.

”Inside the alliance, I can solve a total budget deficit of one hundred eighty thousand Spirit Stones.”

”Still not enough!”

Luo Chen thought it over and decided to consider his friends.

Song Mi, a sect master with considerable wealth, count him in.

Chen Xiuli, with her continuous income from vestment robe business, had considerable wealth as well. Also, having recently achieved Core Formation, she would definitely have a high demand for third-order elixirs, count her in too.

The two together also amounted to about one hundred twenty thousand Spirit Stones.

Luo Chen didn’t mark up the prices.

After all, these were his friends!

Providing them a channel to purchase elixirs was mutually beneficial, and they would have to be very grateful and thank Luo Chen.

Calculating this way, eighteen plus twelve, the three hundred thousand Spirit Stone gap was perfectly resolved!

”With my Pill Refinement Technique, it’s more than enough to meet the demand of this group, and even more is not an issue,”

”But I can’t be too conspicuous, this level is already sufficient.”

”I can ensure my reputation as a Third Order Pill Refiner while letting the Golden Core cultivators in the outer world know that I’m generous to close friends, and that I’ll think of them when suitable elixirs are available. Consequently, more Golden Core Cultivators with modest forces will likely seek friendly relations with me.”

”At the same time, this level of pill refinement would not take up too much of my cultivation time.”

Muttering to himself, Luo Chen made his decision.
