Immortality begin with Alchemy Grandmaster

Chapter 448: Chapter 196: Returning to Luo Tian, Foundation Establishment Second Layer (Monthly Ticket Requested) _3

Sima Huiniang laughed, ”He deeply appreciates your benevolence, Mr. President, so he has been working hard in the Luo Tian Creed over these years. He has taken the initiative to handle many matters, serving as a good role model.”

That turned out better than expected.

Luo Chen chuckled softly, ”Continue.”

Sima Huiniang hummed affirmatively and continued to report about what had been going on at the Luo Tian Creed over the past three years.

In truth, there weren’t that many significant changes.

After all, Luo Chen had already established the appropriate decisions before he went into closed-door cultivation. Sima Hui Niang only needed to implement them.

He had also negotiated the outside environment with Nangong Jin and Li Yixian amongst others.

There wouldn’t be any huge changes.

The changes in the Luo Tian Creed were mainly reflected in three aspects.

Salary system: since Luo Chen’s elixir trade was no longer in place to support it, Sima Huiniang adjusted it back to the standards of a normal loose cultivation organization in the Immortal Cultivation World.

Those who work more earn more. Those who don’t work, don’t earn.

Simply put, she cut back the base salary.

With this move, she was able to relieve some of the financial stress on Luo Tian Creed.

It also compelled some cultivators within the organization to take on work voluntarily.

This was a good thing!

Luo Chen had initially chosen to adopt the high salary system because of the tremendous pressure from the outside world.

Now, the circumstances were different. Cutting back the salary was necessary.

Sima Huiniang took the initiative to apply this measure and bore the brunt of the criticism.

Then, Luo Chen could gain popularity by giving out some elixirs as rewards, which could not only win over the highly skilled cultivators at the late stage of Qi Refinement but also enhance his fame.

Being this generous, Luo Chen was undoubtedly a great philanthropist!

The second change was proposing to set up a new Law Enforcement Hall at a six-hall meeting.

The hall didn’t need many people.

But it must consist of experts!

It was designed to enforce the law within the organization, working in coordination with the Merits Hall, to punish those who violated the rules.

Of course, this proposal has not been fully realized yet.

It awaits Luo Chen’s decision.

After a short pause, Luo Chen approved the proposal.

As for the position of the Law Enforcement Hall Master, Zhou Yuanli was the natural selection.

He was originally appointed with an honorary title of Law Enforcement Elder by Luo Chen.

With this, the various departments and halls of the Luo Tian Creed were fully formed.

Though small, it had all the essential parts.

Even though Luo Chen was not around for a short period, it could operate independently.

The third change was a piece of good news.

”Ling Jun is now able to stably refine the Jade Marrow Pill.”

”How stable?” Luo Chen asked, perking up immediately.

Sima Huiniang said, ”Of course, he’s not as good as you, Mr. President. For every fifteen sets of raw materials, Ling Jun can produce one pill. It is currently a Lower Grade.”

With a cost of about seventy-five Lower Grade Spirit Stones for fifteen sets of raw materials.

Currently, Qu Lingjun struggles to reliably control the quantity of successfully refined pills, with each batch producing about fifteen to sixteen pills.

For external sales, the value was only a dozen or so Spirit Stones.

In other words, each Pill Refinement results in a loss, as it brought no revenue.

However, upon hearing this news, Luo Chen was overjoyed.

”Indeed, I didn’t misjudge him. His talents in Pill Refinement are exceptional.”

From the initial memorization of the Herbal Compendium, working as a helper in the Pill Hall, to starting Pill Refinement, and then being supported by Luo Tian Creed, which provided him with a massive amount of raw materials for Pill Refinement.

All in all, it has only been six years.

It may seem like a long time.

In actuality, for a High Order Cultivator, it was merely a blink of an eye.

In a Great Sect, cultivating a Pill Refiner who could stably refine a First Order Lower Grade Pill would take at least ten years!

If one wants to make a profit, it would take even more decades.

As for Grandmaster and Grandmaster-level Pill Refiners, they are not counted by ”decades”.

Now, Qu Lingjun has completed the first step of a Pill Refiner seed in a Great Sect in just six years.

His talent in Pill Refinement is undoubtedly excellent.

Of course, Luo Chen’s insights on Pill Refinement were also part of this.

After all, he was peerless in the refinement of the Jade Marrow Pill, and it was not an exaggeration to call him a Grandmaster of this pill.

Coupled with Qu Lingjun’s own talent in Pill Refinement, this unexpected result was achieved.

Seeing the uplifted corners of Luo Chen’s mouth, Sima Huiniang heaved a sigh of relief in her heart.

Over these three years, she had been running the Luo Tian Creed alone, which was both mentally and physically exhausting.

Finally, getting Luo Chen’s affirmation now, she felt relieved.

However, the issue she was about to discuss next made her somewhat nervous.

”Mr. President, your Demon Beast...”

”Hmm, I already know about it. It’s not your fault.”

”But, that was a Second Order warrior beast!”

Luo Chen shook his head, a trace of regret appearing on his face.

What Sima Huiniang wanted to speak about was Little Red’s escape.

Little Red, a Second Order Blast Ape.

It was captured alive by him and Wang Yuan during the Beast Wave Battle.

Later, after obtaining the Beast Controlling Technique, he enslaved it.

During the Battle of Xiao Huan Mountain, it also contributed a lot.

However, after Luo Chen entered the Big River Ghost City for closed-door cultivation, this beast fled from Xiao Huan Mountain in the second year.

Not only did it flee, but it also took its offspring, a little monkey, with it.

”Without my suppression, indeed no one in the organization could control it for a long time.”

”Besides, my ’Ten Thousand Beast Scripture’ was only at a beginner’s level. Even if I kept a close eye on it all the time, I would still have to constantly apply the Slave Spirit Mark to control it.”

Luo Chen could still faintly feel the connection between him and Little Red.

But this connection was slowly weakening.

Thus, it was obvious that Little Red had already fled deep into the mountains, getting further away from him.

”Let it be, let it go!”

Not wanting to mull over unnecessary worries, Luo Chen’s eyes fell to the great hall.

While Sima Huiniang was reporting her work, many high-ranking members of the Luo Tian Creed had gradually gathered.

Facing all those familiar eyes, Luo Chen blurted out a decision that took everyone by surprise.

”Three months from now, we’ll leave The Great River District!”
