Tabula Rasa: Adventures In A New World

“Finally done lazing about our home?”

“That’s very rich coming from you.” Krvavy idly replies, partially ignoring her brat’s annoyance.

“Hmph! It is not my fault that there is noth–!”

“Ach, girl!” Beryl interrupts that silver-blonde brat, shooting the girl a rather reprimanding look... which quickly shifts into something far more playful as her lips twist into a teasing smile. “There’s no shame in admittin’ tha’ ya’ll miss our dearest love, even if she’ll just be away from ya fer a day~! Or are ya jealous tha’ Ah’ll be by ‘er side the whole time~?”

Thea’s cheeks flush ever so faintly as she glares at the Elf. “Jealous? Of you two delving into some dirty cave filled with annoying blobs?” The sarcasm oozing from her words only grows more intense as she rolls those beautiful blue eyes of her. “Oh, I sure am.”

“Yer loss~!” The tanned tomboy lightly laughs, pressing herself right into their shared lover’s side. “Ah’ll get ta ‘ave ‘er all ta myself, from dawn till dusk~!”

“Yes, and you will spend most of that time hiking or killing living puddles.” Thea dryly replies, trying to act casual and uncaring even as she reaches over and locks fingers with the Drakling.

“Aye indeed~! Experiencin’ the great outdoors and slayin’ foes side by side~! Wha’ a wonderful date it’ll be~!”

The silver-blonde brat simply rolls her eyes once more.

An ever so slightly smug smile fills Beryl’s face, even as she turns her attention away from Thea, glancing towards the Greenskin sprawled out on their bed. “Khalia, dear, ya sure tha’ ya don’t want ta come along as well?”

“Rrrgh...” The Were-Beast quietly grumbles, not even bothering to lift her head. “Slime no fun to fight.”

“It’ll probably be different this time.” Krvavy speaks up, smiling towards her prone puppy. “I’ll be able to freeze them solid now, and then they’ll be easy to smash apart.”

“Rrgh... No,” comes Khalia’s quite simple answer.

“Of all the spells you could have learned...” Thea’s brow knits together, revealing the faintest hint of frustration as she slowly shakes her head. “Are you seriously that unoriginal?”

“Hey, it’s useful and thematic!” Krvavy gives her little princess’ hand a gentle squeeze as she defends herself.

“It is trite.” The silver-blonde noble plainly replies. “Seriously, could you not have thought of something more interesting? ‘Oh, the Dragon can breathe plumes of fire and ice!’ How interesting.”

“Soundin’ rather bitter there.” A hint of cautioned worry can be heard in Beryl’s voice as she makes that observation, leaning around the barbarian’s body to look at that brat.

“That is because I am.” Thea freely admits, not bothering to hide her annoyance.

“Then what kind of Ice Magic spell should I have gotten?” Krvavy curiously asks, not particularly bothered by her princess’ poor mood. She can tell that Thea is just playing it up to have a bit of fun. They wouldn’t still be holding hands if the girl was truly annoyed.

“I... I do not know! Maybe some sort of focused beam that freezes whatever it hits? That definitely sounds better than breathing out some chilly mist!”

“That does sound cooler, I’ll give you that, but I’m pretty sure that’d be less effective than what I have now.” The Drakling calmly replies, looking deep into her fiancée’s soft-blue eyes. “I mean, someone could block that freeze ray by just holding up a shield. But my new breath spell would just flow around it and freeze them anyway. Do you need me to read its description to you again? Not that it is particularly descriptive...”

Boreal Breath: Ice magic coalesces within your throat, bursting out with Draconic fury. Costs up to 25 Mana per second of use. Associated attributes = Insight & Charisma.

“Ugh, no!” Thea groans, prompting Krvavy to dismiss the popup with a shrug. “But I still think it is boring for you to just breathe out another element! And is it not just the same exact spell as your fire breath, just ice instead?! Were you too lazy to think of something even slightly different?!”

Krvavy leans her head down and puts her face into Thea’s personal space for no reason beyond bugging that brat. “I pretty much only bothered to learn Ice Magic so that we can freeze our food to let it last longer. Having a new spell was just meant to be a bonus.”

“Hmph!” The silver-blonde brat simply huffs as she moves away from Krvavy’s face to lean against the barbarian’s side. “At least fire breath is a classic...” She quietly grumbles to herself.

Beryl takes the brief silence that follows an invitation to resume her teasing. “Cuddlin’ our dearest love now, are ya~? Makin’ up fer the time ya’ll miss tomorrow~? Don’t worry, it’s not like ya’ll be completely alone all day~! Ya’ll ‘ave Adeline ta keep ya company~!”

The Halfling makes a faint squeak from across the room, accidentally drawing attention to her eavesdropping. Adeline’s face flushes a deep red as she burrows into her bedding, burying herself beneath her blanket in an attempt to completely hide away. That obviously doesn’t work all that well, as it just leaves a large shuddering lump showing exactly where she is.

“Wonderful...” Thea simply rolls her eyes and ignores Adeline’s odd reaction, instead glaring up at the Drakling. “Can we just go to sleep already?” She impatiently whines. “I am tired of waiting around for that fat-titted Dwarf.”

“Well tha’ is a shame.” The tomboyish Elf states in a mock serious tone. “Because Krvavy ‘ere will, as always, wait up fer whoever is last ta come ta bed so tha’ she, bein’ a sappy romantic, can give us all a proper ‘good night’. And ya obviously want ta cuddle up against ‘er as ya sleep, so –”

“Ugh! Shut up! You do not need to explain what we all already know!”

“And ya don’t need ta be so impatient. Ya aren’t the one who’ll be wakin’ up before the crack o’ dawn.”

“Well, if you want to pass the time,” Krvavy interjects in an attempt to prevent an argument, “I know something we could do~.”

“You incorrigible perver–mMPH~!” Thea’s grumbling complaint is quickly muffled as the Drakling claims her lips with a hungry kiss.

“Ah really should be less agreeable sometimes...” Beryl idly muses as she watches that wonderfully lewd show, stealthily reaching over to grope at the bratty girl’s pert, and utterly undefended, breasts. “Maybe if Ah acted all bratty Ah’d get some more kisses too...?”

“Wake up, my dearest love~...”

“Mnngh...” Krvavy grumbles quietly as she is gently shaken awake, opening her eyes to see Beryl’s beautiful face hovering in front of her.

“Shh.” The tanned Elf holds a single finger to her lips. “No need ta wake the others.” She quietly whispers. “Ah’ve already pulled Thea off of ya. See, she’s buryin’ ‘er face in Khalia’s tits now~. Shame Ah won’t get ta see tha’ brat’s expression when she wakes~...!”

The barbarian slowly and carefully rises up into a sitting position, stifling a yawn as she does so.

“Come on, my dearest love, let’s get ya somethin’ ta eat. We’ve got ta get goin’ soon.”

With that the Wood Elf grabs onto Krvavy’s hand and drags her, half-crawling, across the comfortable moss bed all the way to the edge. By the time Krvavy’s feet touch the cool stone floor, she has mostly woken up.

“Breakfast is served~.” Beryl quietly sings, eyes twinkling with warmth as she pushes a bowl into the barbarian’s hands. “Eat up, my dearest love~.”

Krvavy wordlessly nods and immediately brings a spoonful of hot oatmeal to her mouth, but abruptly pauses just before it can pass through her lips. She blinks a couple times as she stares at her Elf in slightly bewildered surprise.

“Wha’, is there somethin’ on my face~?” The Wood Elf playfully asks, trailing a finger over her cheek as she meets her Draconic lover’s gaze. “Or are ya just not used ta seein’ me cover up so much o’ my skin~?”

Beryl isn’t naked like Krvavy expected her to be. Nor is she wearing her skimpy leather shorts and top. What she is wearing can only be describe as armour. Wooden armour. It is almost like what she wore when the two of them first met, except... more.

That teasing tomboy’s lips spread into a wide smile as she strikes a pose for the Drakling, standing on one foot with her arms raised high, before leaning forwards into a dramatic bow fit for the most nimble of ballerinas. The overlapping bark plates of her armour shift as she moves, yet they make next to no audible sound despite covering nearly her entire body, leaving just her head and fingers bare.

“Don’t want those slimes ta ruin wha’ little clothin’ Ah ‘ave~... Nor do Ah want them ta eat away at my flesh.” This tanned Elf’s teasing tone fades a little bit as she says that. “And while this isn’t perfect, it’ll ‘opefully give them somethin’ ta try ta eat tha’ isn’t myself...”

“I thought you weren’t going to fight them using that... paddle?” Krvavy idly wonders, before finally pushing the spoonful of oatmeal into her mouth.

Beryl holds a finger to her lips, reminding the barbarian to be quiet. “Ah’m not.” She whispers back. “Tha’ thing was a terrible idea. Fightin’ up close really isn’t somethin’ Ah’m good at... But better safe than sorry, so Ah’ll be wearin’ this armour even though Ah don’t plan on lettin’ any o’ those slimes near me.”

“Then how –?”

“Ya’ll just ‘ave ta wait and see~!” Beryl softly laughs, covering her mouth with her hand to partially muffle those musical sounds.

Krvavy simply narrows her eyes as she continues to eat her breakfast. “Are you... just going to stand there and watch me eat?” She asks after nearly a minute.

“Oh!” Beryl gasps in surprise, her cheeks flushing with just a bit of embarrassment. “Right! Sorry, Ah got... distracted!” That tomboy scrambles a little as she grabs up her own bowl and scoops a serving of oatmeal into it, causing a little more noise than she intended to.

“Mnhh...?” Adeline stirs in her bedding near the fireplace, lifting her head slightly and tiredly blinking her big hazel eyes. The Halfling doesn’t seem to notice the armoured Wood Elf standing a few steps away from her. She doesn’t seem to notice much of anything.

“Tsk...” Beryl clicks her tongue, slightly disappointed and annoyed with herself, before crouching down beside the tiny blonde. “Sorry fer wakin’ ya sweetie. Just go back ta sleep, alright?”

Adeline doesn’t respond to that in the slightest, simply rubbing at her eyes as she tiredly yawns. The half-asleep Halfling’s little nose scrunches slightly as she sniffs the air, her body shuddering as she picks up a pleasant scent. Her tongue hungrily slides over her parted lips as she heavily exhales, before abruptly freezing in place. Her hazel eyes grow wide with shock as a deep red hue quickly begins to fill her face.

“Huh?” Krvavy tilts her head in open confusion as she sees that tiny bunny-mouse staring intently at her. Those big eyes aren’t locked onto her face though... They’re pointed a fair bit lower... “Oh! Sorry!” The barbarian quickly realizes her mistake, hastily reaching a hand down in a futile attempt to hide her semi-stiff dick.

“Eeeie...!” Adeline jumps in surprise as Beryl gently touches the top of her head, dragging her attention away from the Drakling long enough for Krvavy to hurry over to where her loincloth was left and quickly put it on.

“We’re really sorry fer... fer this.” The Elf gently smiles as she pats and strokes the timid girl’s dark-blonde hair. “Do ya think tha’ ya can go back ta sleep, or are ya too awake now?”

The Halfling doesn’t immediately respond, simply shuddering a bit as her eyes furtively glance over towards the Drakling. Her flat chest rises and falls in her plain sleeping gown as she takes ragged and shaken breaths. “I-I-I-I...!” Adeline stutters out those uncertain sounds after an awkwardly long period of silence, her flush growing deeper before she hastily hides her face behind those big floppy bunny ears of hers.

“Ach, well...” Beryl slowly shakes her head and pulls back from the tiny blonde. “Guess you’re up now, so... want some breakfast?”

“Eeeei...?” A rather confused squeak emerges from Adeline as slowly moves one of her ears down just enough for her big hazel eye to peek past it. “Y-yes... p-pl-please... M-m-mi-miss Beryl...” She weakly whispers, her already quiet voice made near inaudible as her floppy ears muffle her words even further.

“Alrighty.” The tomboyish Elf replies in as chipper a tone she can while still keeping her voice low to avoid waking anyone else. “It’s just oatmeal, nothin’ too special. Not like the stuff ya make~. But still, it smells nice, aye?”

Giving the incredibly bashful girl a compliment, even if it is about how great she is at cooking, turns out to a bad idea. Or at least not a good idea.

Adeline’s body tenses as she makes a choked squeaking sound from behind her floppy bunny ears. An intense shiver runs through the tiny blonde as she ever so slowly lowers herself back into her bedding, burrowing beneath her blankets.

Beryl glances towards Krvavy with a look of concerned confusion on her face. The barbarian simply shrugs in response. “Okay...” The Elf cautiously mutters, looking down at the filled bowl in her hands. “Ah’ll just... leave this beside the fire fer ya, sweetie. We’ll be... We’ll be out o’ yer ‘air soon.”

With a gentle shake of her head, Beryl grabs her own bowl and heads over to the far side of the room, dragging the Drakling along with her.

“Have you noticed her acting a bit weird lately...?” Krvavy whispers as quietly as she can, not wanting Adeline to hear them talking. The awkward shyness that’s plaguing the Halfling would definitely flare up even more if she knew that they were talking about her.

“Not before this mornin’, no.” Beryl replies in an equally hushed tone, her eyebrow raised questioningly. “Why, ‘ave ya?”

“I... Maybe?” Krvavy shrugs her shoulders again, carefully glancing over to where Adeline is still burrowed in her bedding. “It’s kind of hard to tell with just how shy she normally is...”

“Aye, and ya can’t really blame ‘er fer this. The girl ‘ardly even woke up before she got an eyeful o’ yer cock...” The tomboyish Elf gently nibbles on her bottom lip, creating a truly beautiful sight that does nothing but feed the flames of Krvavy’s ever-present lust. “Should really deal wit’ tha’ before we ‘ead off... But not ‘ere, wit’ Adeline around...” A faintly playful twinkle enters Beryl’s blue-green eyes as she gazes up at her barbaric lover. “Ya wouldn’t ‘appen ta mind me servicin’ ya down in the grotto, would ya~?”

“Hahh...!” The Drakling breathes out, struggling to keep herself from laughing. “Do you really need to ask that~?”

“Aye~!” A wide smile fills Beryl’s face, even as her hushed tone turns rather teasing. “Ah ‘appen ta find it rather fun ta rile ya up~!”

“What if there comes a day when I say no~?”

“Like tha’ll ever ‘appen~!” The tanned Wood Elf gives that Drakling’s shoulder a gentle whack. “Now come on, enough playin’ around. Let’s finish off our breakfast quick as we can. So tha’ Ah can ‘ave my dessert already~.”

Krvavy’s lips curl into a smile as she brings another spoonful of oatmeal up to her mouth.
