Red Envelope Group of the Three Realms

Chen was ready to make a move after he hung up the phone. However, his phone vibrated all of a sudden.

Monkey King: Chen, my brother. Didn’t you promise me to send me the spicy sticks?

Chen was stunned. He had almost forgotten to stick to his promise. Actually, Chen still owed Yanwang and Shennong two spicy sticks. The reason for them not coming and asking Chen for it was because the Prime of Tongtian is Chen’s master. The Monkey King did not care about all these stupid rules. When the time came, he would come forward and ask for it.

Chen: Hold on, Monkey King. I will send it to you right now.

Chen looked for a nearest good stall to purchase a packet of spicy sticks. He took three spicy sticks out from the packet and gave it to Yanwang, Shennong, and Monkey King. Yes! You read it right! Chen only gave one spicy stick per deity. He wanted to keep the value of spicy stick blown up. The ’hunger strike’ selling strategy must not be compromised. After some time, the Red Envelope group was bustling with noise and excitement.

Yanwang: Hahaha! Finally, I finally received my share of spicy sticks from Chen! I can slowly enjoy it!

Zhu Bajie: Is it really that good? (The salivating emojis)

NeZha: I have no idea what are you guys taking about. But, I think this spicy stick must be some kind of legendary delicacy. (Three curious emojis)

Monkey King: It’s more than yummy! It’s super-duper yummy! I have not felt so good for such a long time!

Sanzang: Wukong! Is the spicy stick really that good?!

Bull Demon King: My brother can never be wrong! I should get myself a spicy stick!

God Erlang: The stupid monkey has eaten it! I must eat it as well! I will not lose to him!

….

Everyone was super excited in the group. But, Shennong did not say anything in the group at all. The old man already sent a personal message to Chen.

Shennong: Chen the God! This spicy stick is too damn delicious! I want three more!

”Oh damn! Shennong really deserves to be one of the Three Kings. Only he has the ability to purchase three spicy sticks at once! However, I can’t satisfy his cravings all in one goal. The spicy sticks will become less valuable if I oversupply it to the group of deities.”

After some though, Chen replied by saying, ”I’m really sorry. The Spicy stick is an ultra-rare delicacy! I can only sell you another one. I have to satisfy the needs of others as well.”

Chen noticed that Bull Demon King and God Erlang were also potential buyers of spicy sticks. He needed to be wiser when it came to selling spicy sticks. A larger variety of customers could ensure the constant growth of Chen’s lucrative business.

Shennong: I’m okay with only one spicy stick. (disappointing face). Should I pay you a thousand Potion of Hundred Herbs again?”

Chen: Nope. I have enough Potion of Hundred Herbs. This time, I want merit points.

Shennong: No problem!

Ding!

[Congratulation! You have snatched Shennong’s Red Envelope! You have received ten thousand merit points! It has been stored inside your treasure chest!]

Chen smiled and sent a spicy stick to Shennong. After that, Bull Demon King and God Erlang looked for Chen to purchase spicy sticks as well. Chen had to rush to check up on Old Man Wen. Thus, he had no time to chit-chat with them. He collected a total of twenty thousand merit points from them. And, he sent two spicy sticks to them. Chen had earned thirty thousand merit points in a very short time.

”Eh? How come my level is not increasing? As far as I know, one only needs one thousand merit points to become Super Philanthropist.” Chen was confused. He opened up his treasure chest to check on it. He saw that the merit points were in the form of a bright, seven colored sphere, floating in the treasure chest. There was a line of words under the sphere.

[Inactivated Triple Realms Merit Points. Do you wish to withdraw it?]

”Oh… All these merit points have not been added to me. I need to activate them manually. I should check up on Old Man Wen first. I will take my time reading up on them later.” Chen could not delay his trip any longer. Without a second thought, he passed the remaining spicy sticks to Jing Fei and drove to Wen family’s mansion immediately. Wen family’s mansion was similar to Mu Rongtian’s mansion. Both of the mansions were built on the mountains. There was a big gap between two mansions. Neither of them would overshadow the other.

Wenyuan came out personally to welcome Chen when he arrived at the mansion.

”Chen! You are here finally! Quickly go in and check on my grandpa! There’s nothing that the doctor can do to cure my grandpa!” Wenyuan’s face was filled with anxiety. She did try to get close to Chen with selfish intentions, but that was definitely not an act. From there, Chen knew that Old Man Wen was in a critical condition.

Old Man Wen was lying on a bed in the master bedroom. His lips had turned purple, and his hands and legs were trembling. He was in a deep coma. There was a man with a straight face, standing beside the bed. Chen had seen this man earlier. He was none other than the CEO of Wen organization; Wen Tianyuan. Also, he was the father of Wenyuan. There was one more middle-aged man standing at the other side of the bed. He looked similar to Wen Tianyuan. He had a bronze skin tone. His temples were slightly indented. Also, his eyes were as sharp as the eyes of an eagle. A silent, yet scary aura was spilling out from him. He was Wenfeng’s father; Wen Tiandou! Jing Fei had mentioned earlier that this guy had his training at the Dragon City!

Chen was feeling curious. He activated his Netherspirit Battlescouter to check on him. He was soaked in fear when he saw the figure.

Ding!

[Cultivation: Early stage of Qi refining. Health: 5000. Combat power: 5000]

This Wen Tiandou had the same combat power with Mu Rongtian. He could easily defeat one thousand people on his own! During the ancient times, he was known as the ”Blade Master of Thousand Slash”. His combat power was insanely strong. Other than the members of Wen family, there was a doctor standing at the corner of the wall. He was around fifty to sixty years old. However, his face was filled with awkwardness, he had zero ideas on how to cure Old Man Wen.

”Mr. Chen, you are finally here! Please, save my father!”

Wen Tianyuan walked towards Chen in a rush and led him to Old Man Wen.

”Don’t worry. I can cure him.” Chen walked towards the bed and took out his Potion of Hundred Herbs. He was stopped just as he was about to feed Old Man Wen with the potion.

”Stop right there!”

Wen Tiandou asked coldly, ”What the hell are you going to feed to my father?!”

Chen frowned and he can sense hostility from him. He thought, ”If you are going to be impolite to me, I will not show you any politeness as well!”

Chen gave his worst look to him and said, ”This is a remedy from my village. You can never understand, even if I explain it you!”

”You have to explain it to me! If not, I will not allow you to feed this shit to my father!” Wen Tiandou said with determination.

Chen grunted and said condescendingly, ”Hmph! I have come to save Old Man Wen out of my kindness! I do not owe anything to your family! I’m sick of being treated like an asshole! I will leave now!”

”Chen!”

”Mr. Chen!”

Wenyuan and Wen Tianyuan quickly rushed to Chen and held on to him.

”Chen, please don’t go. Only you can save my grandpa!” Wenyuan was hugging Chen’s arm. She did not want Chen to leave.

Wen Tianyuan scolded Wen Tiandou, ”Second brother! Our father is dying soon! Only Mr. Chen can save him! You are stopping him from saving our father! You are just pure toxic!”

”What are you talking about? I can not understand a single word coming out from your mouth.” Wen Tiandou laughed and said coldly.

”Our father has not yet changed his will. You are hoping that he dies now, so that, Wenfeng would be able to inherit the family business!”
