3799 Candidate For Fiancée (3)

“Furthermore, the wife of a strong man must also be strong! Only those with outstanding talents can match well. That is also the marriage tradition of our ancient gods! How can a tradition of millions of years be changed at will? If it’s changed so flippantly, I don’t know how much outsiders would laugh at us!”

“Young Master is one of the most outstanding geniuses in the history of our entire Cloudy Qilin Clan. He is the hope of the future of our clan. If you find him a woman with average talent, he will become the laughing stock of the entire God Realm! The face of the clan would also be lost! I will never agree to such a thing!”

Li Zhengwei obviously did not expect that his casual proposal would encounter such fierce opposition from his colleagues.

However, he was not frightened by the other party’s menacing appearance, and continued to explain: “Elder Yu, what you said was biased. Tradition is tradition, but you have to adapt it according to the actual situation? With our Young Master’s natural strength and talent, no matter what kind of wife he marries, who would dare to underestimate him? Besides, I’m just raising a possibility, and it doesn’t mean that the Young Master can only marry a female doctor?”

!!
“Anyway, don’t even think about what you said! The Young Master’s wife can only be the proud daughter of the Ancient God Clan. It’s best to choose one from the clan!”

“That’s right. Although women from other ancient god races are fine, they are not as reliable as the women in our clan. The Young Master bears the future of the entire Cloudy Qilin Clan on his shoulders. The one who is by his side must be reliable, and there must be no mistakes!”

“Although Young Miss Leyun’s marriage contract with the Young Master will most likely not come to fruition, there are still so many talented women in the clan, so I will definitely find someone who is worthy of the Young Master!”

Although the other Elders were not as excited as Elder Yu who refuted at the beginning, they all spoke up one after another, expressing their disapproval.

Li Zhengwei also reacted after hearing so many people talking.

In fact, this matter has nothing to do with whether his proposal was correct or not, and it has nothing to do with the marriage tradition of the ancient gods.

What really matters was the interests of the various branches of the clan!

Li Moying ascended from the lower realm, and the relationship with any branch of the clan was actually very far away. The only way to get closer to him was to marry.

Originally, Li Leyun was able to win among the many proud girls of heaven. Apart from her highest talent, she also relied on her hardest backing. She was the most outstanding woman in the Patriarch’s team.

But now, Li Leyun has repeatedly committed crimes. Although the clan has not explicitly kicked her out of Li Moying’s fiancée candidates, everyone must think that she was no longer favoured.

All the Elders who had been eyeing the Young Madam’s throne were all gearing up to send their daughters to the Young Master’s side.

Li Zhengwei himself practiced the pure way. He never married a wife in his life, and naturally he had no children. He was the only one among all the Elders, so he didn’t think so much at first.

However, he wasn’t really stupid. Now that he understood, he immediately shut up.

He was the only one in the clan who was neutral. He has never participated in this kind of factional struggle. At this time, he also knows that what he said touched the interests of everyone.

Li Shihong understood it earlier than him.

When Elder Yu jumped out at the very beginning, he knew where the problem was.

Although he also felt that what Li Zhengwei said made some sense, he could only suppress his true thoughts.
