3745 Face Slaps (12)

Seeing this, Li Shihong turned pale, but instead of pleading for Li Leyun, he said, “Hmph! Only now do you know that you are wrong? I’m afraid Young Miss Li might not forgive you! But, it’s your own fault! Don’t think I I don’t know what you did in Medial Arch City!”

Hearing this, Li Leyun shuddered all over again!

She also caused a lot of trouble at the Spiritual Armament Master Competition in Medial Arch City, and she lost all face of the Cloudy Qilin Clan.

At that time, the two elders, Li Yuntao and Li Yunhai, were furious and made it clear that they would no longer support her as Li Moying’s fiancée.

!!
Later, if it wasn’t for her chance to follow Huang Sanbai and save the dying Li Moying, based on what she did in Medial Arch City, she would be severely punished when she came back, let alone being able to be engaged with Li Moying!

Now that Li Shihong was bringing up the old matter again, it probably means that he wants to cancel the engagement between the two…

It was only then that Li Leyun realized the seriousness of the matter, and she completely let go of her last thoughts about any calculations and face as she hugged Huang Yueli’s thigh, and kept begging, “Young Miss Li, please help me! I really know I was wrong! Both you and Divine Doctor Liu are benefactors of our Cloudy Qilin Clan. It is because of my dirty mind that I have wronged you two. I deserve to die, I deserve to die! No matter how you punish me, you can punish me! I… I apologise to you, to you… to kowtow to you!”

As Li Leyun said, she wanted to kneel on the ground and kowtow.

However, her legs were still immobile after all, she couldn’t even stand up, and it was even more impossible to get into a kneeling position.

After struggling a few times, but it didn’t work, she had no choice but to give up, turning over and knocking her head on the ground.

However, at the moment when her head was about to touch the ground, she was suddenly blocked by a burst of profound force.

Immediately, she heard Huang Yueli’s soft voice above her head, “Young Miss Leyun, what are you doing? We are just ordinary healers, and you are the daughter of the Ancient God Clan. We really do not deserve such courtesy. Please get up quickly, when did I say that I don’t want to heal you?”

It was Huang Yueli herself who stopped Li Leyun.

If it was in private, then Li Leyun kowtowed hundreds of times, and Huang Yueli wouldn’t even frown.

But now, after all, this was Amethyst Paramount Palace, and moreover they were still before the Cloudy Qilin Clan’s Patriarch and many elders.

Huang Yueli knew that in this scene, even though Li Shihong had said harsh words and seemed to no longer care about Li Leyun’s life or death, in fact, in the eyes of these Cloudy Qilin Clan’s top clansmen, Li Leyun was still a member of the Cloudy Qilin Clan.

If she really wants Li Leyun to kowtow to her hundreds of times, even though Li Shihong and the others won’t say anything now, it’s hard to guarantee that they will remember her in their hearts, and the loss outweighs the gain.

It’s better to just let her go.

In this case, not only will she appear magnanimous, but it will also make Li Leyun look even more despicable.

Sure enough, as soon as Huang Yueli’s words came out of her mouth, Li Shihong’s face showed guilt.

“Young Miss Li, you are really… so kind! This niece of mine has offended you like this, yet you are still willing to save her… Sigh, I’m the one who lacked on her discipline and have caused you trouble!”

Huang Yueli smiled slightly, “Patriarch Li, you are too polite. As doctors, saving lives and healing the wounded is what we should do.”

“Ugh…”

Li Shihong sighed and stared at Li Leyun, “Look at Young Miss Li and do some self reflection!”
