Chapter 3626 - 3626 Playing Around (1)

3626 Playing Around (1)

There was only a very brief sentence written on the IOU: “On X year, Xmonth, Xday, Lu Dongfeng seeked a medical consultation with Liu Buyan, an earth-level Spirit Medicine Master and took a top saint grade Fire Rejuvenation Pill, worth ten thousand low-grade jade quartz. Here is the IOU as a record and he is to pay Liu Buyan ten thousand low-grade jade quartz within seven days, and if the time limit is exceeded, the interest will be 100 low-grade jade quartz per day.”

It can be said that the content on this IOU was not at all different from the facts.

Although there was a clause that interest must be paid beyond the time limit, it was still within reasonable grounds. Such a requirement will appear on any IOU, lest the person who wrote the IOU would delay the payment with excuses.

This IOU was too normal!

!!
However, how could Liu Buyan not play tricks?

The four judges and Lu Dongfeng didn’t believe that he would be so kind. They checked the IOU several times, but still couldn’t find any problems.

Liu Buyan was not in a hurry, and kept watching calmly from the side.

No matter how they looked at it, they couldn’t find anything wrong with it, because he hadn’t tampered with the IOU in the first place.

After a long time, although Liu Buyan didn’t urge him, the crowd around him couldn’t stand it anymore, and they were even more impatient than him.

“What the hell is going on here? Why haven’t you signed yet?”

“It’s just a piece of paper, how many words can there be on it? After looking at it for a long time, don’t tell me you want to renege on your debt?”

“Today we have learned a lot! The majestic heaven-level Spirit Medicine Master is usually very arrogant in front of us, and looks rich and powerful. As a result, now he doesn’t pay for the medicinal pill!”

“Today was really a big show! It’s infinitely more exciting than the usual Pill Competitions!”

The discussion of the onlookers became louder and louder, reaching the ears of several judges, and immediately made them all blush and feel ashamed.

Today was the most shameful day of their lives!

From the beginning to the end, Liu Buyan was just trampling on their confidence and pride.

Moreover, even though they knew that they were being tricked by Liu Buyan, they still couldn’t reason it out with him!

It was simply because Liu Buyan’s alchemy skills were so outstanding that he completely crushed Lu Dongfeng.

If it wasn’t for the few of them being smart enough to use unfair means to suppress Liu Buyan and forcibly prevent him from winning, then these subsequent things might not have happened.

This was really lifting a rock and hitting yourself in the foot!

Thinking of this, the few people stopped hesitating and said directly to Lu Dongfeng: “Young Master Lu, there should be no problem with the IOU, why don’t you sign your name now! Ten thousand low-grade jade quartz should not be regarded as a lot for Elder Lu. Just give him the money when the time comes.”

Lu Dongfeng secretly groaned in his heart.

During this period of time, Elder Lu heard about the Young Master of the Cloudy Qilin Clan who was seriously ill, and has been doing various experiments, trying to develop a medicine that could cure him, so that he can climb the high branch of the Cloudy Qilin Clan .

For this reason, he used countless precious medicinal materials every day, and spent money like running water.

Ten thousand low-grade jade quartz may not be a big deal to the former Elder Lu and he’ll just casually pay for him.

However, now is the time when he’s short of money, and if Lu Dongfeng still bothers him with this kind of thing, it will definitely not please him!

However, he couldn’t say these words.

In desperation, he could only take the brush and paper, and signed his name on the IOU in despair.
