“Young friend wishes to spread the Martial Tao Cultivation System…”

“It’s not impossible…”

The Cangqing Immortal quietly observed Lin Yuan for a while, and then spoke earnestly.

With the vision of a late-stage Dao Integration from the Cangqing Immortal, it was natural to see the immense potential in Lin Yuan. It was fair to say it was beyond belief.

Such a being, upon reaching the Spirit Realm, would easily step into the Unity Path Stage.

...
He might even hope to touch upon the realms above Dao Integration, looking down upon the Spirit Realm’s domain of the Immortal Kings.

To suppress or kill such an Immortal King Seed would be the most foolish choice.

Because it is pointless, if successful there would be no great benefit, and if failed, it would be a disaster.

Therefore, befriending is the best choice. Even if one cannot become friends, one must never offend.

Lin Yuan wanted to spread the Martial Tao Cultivation System in the Central Divine Continent.

This would inevitably have an impact on the Immortal Cultivation System, which is why Mu Qingliu dared not agree under any circumstance.

If she agreed, how could she explain it to the ancestors upon ascending to the Spirit Realm through the Ascension Platform?

However, as the strongest of the Daode Immortal Sect in the Spirit Realm, Cangqing Immortal did have the authority to make this decision.

“Hmm?”

“To spread the Martial Tao?”

Lin Yuan was slightly surprised to hear what the Cangqing Immortal had said.

Originally, he thought that he would at least have to fight, showcasing his strength, and then negotiate with the threat of extinguishing the lineage of the Daode Immortal Sect in the Central Divine Continent, ultimately reaching some agreement.

What if the Daode Immortal Sect reneged later? As long as Lin Yuan didn’t ascend to the Spirit Realm, the Daode Immortal Sect wouldn’t dare go back on their word.

The Blood Demon ruler could live for tens of thousands of years, so Lin Yuan, who far surpassed the Blood Demon ruler, could potentially live for millions or tens of millions of years, right?

Of course, that’s what the outside world thought.

Actually, Lin Yuan had to return to the Main World in just over two hundred years.

But only Lin Yuan knew this; the ancestors of the Daode Immortal Sect and even those in the Spirit Realm were unaware.

Even if Lin Yuan disappeared, they would only assume he was hiding in some corner, quietly watching the situation in the Central Divine Continent.

And Lin Yuan could always return after leaving this world. With the world coordinates of the Door to the Myriad Realms, he could vaguely sense the general trends of this world. And as long as he expended some World-Breaking Origin Force, Lin Yuan could also re-descend to this world.

“Ah?”

Mu Qingliu was somewhat bewildered by the side.

The Azure Ancestor was compromising just like that?

What about the ‘grandiose words’ spoken earlier?

Mu Qingliu could not understand, but he knew that every move the ancestor made had deep significance. Since the ancestor said so, he must have discovered something.

“That’s right.”

“The Central Divine Continent is but one of the million Lower Realms of the Spirit Realm, nothing significant. For a genius like the young friend, the real stage is the Spirit Realm,” spoke the Cangqing Immortal calmly.

It was something Mu Qingliu found a bit difficult to get used to for a while.

“The Spirit Realm….”

Lin Yuan glanced at the ‘coordinates’ of the Spirit Realm on the Door of the Realm.

If he encountered any bottlenecks in the future that he could not overcome through regular travel, it might be worth visiting the Spirit Realm.

“What do I need to give in return?”

Lin Yuan asked directly.

Even though the Cangqing Immortal seemed kind and approachable, Lin Yuan knew that the other party couldn’t possibly be a saint.

“Quite simple.”

“When the young friend ascends to the Spirit Realm, help the Immortal Sect once, if it’s within your power,” said the Cangqing Immortal.

This was not an excessive demand. First and foremost were the words “if it’s within your power,” which allowed great flexibility, mainly depending on whether Lin Yuan wished to help or not.

The Cangqing Immortal knew that when dealing with a genius like Lin Yuan, one should never set too stringent of a promise.

“No problem.”

Lin Yuan nodded.

He had the faint feeling that the Cangqing Immortal was ‘pleasing’, ‘investing’ in him. Without even the most basic restrictions, Lin Yuan was totally in the position of choosing to help or not.

But regardless, his goal had been achieved.

“How do we ensure it?”

Lin Yuan asked the critical question.

How to ensure that the Daode Immortal Sect would continuously allow the spread of the Martial Tao Cultivation System.

“I can make a vow on the Dao.”

The Cangqing Immortal replied without hesitation.

“A vow on the Dao?”

Lin Yuan was slightly puzzled.

“Young friend might not understand, a vow on the Dao is a pledge made in the name of the great Spirit Realm, and even Immortal Kings dare not break it,” the Cangqing Immortal explained smilingly.

“In a moment, I will make the vow and summon the attention of the Spirit Realm consciousness, and you will see,” said the Cangqing Immortal.

The atmosphere grew slightly solemn.

“I, Cangqing, under the witness of the great Spirit Realm consciousness, hereby swear…” The Cangqing Immortal went over the promises related to the spread of Martial Tao in detail.

After listening, Lin Yuan found no issues, at least the Cangqing Immortal wasn’t playing any word games.

In fact, the other party couldn’t possibly cheat on this matter. Since he wanted to befriend Lin Yuan and was optimistic about Lin Yuan’s future potential, the least he could offer was sincerity.

“A vow on the Dao…”

As soon as the Cangqing Immortal finished making the vow, Lin Yuan faintly felt a distant and magnificent fluctuation that came through.

These fluctuations did not come through the Ascension Platform but descended from outside the world.

Hum.

The vibrations circled around the Cangqing Immortal once, and Lin Yuan had the feeling that should the Cangqing Immortal break the vow, this wisp of vibrations would appear again.

“The world consciousness of the Spirit Realm can actually be used like this?” Lin Yuan was a bit surprised.

Compared to the worlds Lin Yuan had previously traversed, the world consciousness of the Spirit Realm was in an exceedingly mature state, almost indistinguishable from the Heavenly Dao.

“Young friend, do you feel reassured now?”

The Cangqing Immortal, sensing the vibrations had dissipated, looked at Lin Yuan with a smiling face.

“I have another request.”

Lin Yuan pondered for a moment and continued.
