Chapter 1057 - 1057 The Federation’s Trump Card, Super Mechas

1057 The Federation’s Trump Card, Super Mechas

Watching their spiritual pillars getting killed one after another severely impacted the Federation’s morale.

Most began to think it was the end for the Federation. Even if a portion of the Federation survived, it would still be a severe blow.

Unlike the Holy Land, which was determined to take over the Federation, it would still consider the consequences and not provoke resistance among the people.

However, it differed for the marine folks and Infinite Demon Mountain. They wanted to destroy the Federation and wipe humankind from the Kunlun Realm. They even wanted to counterattack and infiltrate Earth.

!!
That was the fiercest enemy. They would not consider many things because they could not rule the Federation. Moreover, it was pointless for them to rule over the Federation. The only feasible path was to destroy it.

“What a vicious plan,” Chu Yunfan said with a frown.

“Have you seen any news concerning Clan Leader Tang?” He finally asked the question that had been on his mind.

“No, we’ve only seen Ebony Dragon King but not Clan Leader Tang. Still, rumors are saying she’s severely injured, so there’s no good news for now. They will surely post it on the Internet once there is,” Bai Wen explained.

Chu Yunfan agreed after some thought. He could not help but heave a sigh of relief. Although the situation was terrible, it was not irredeemable. He said, “Something vital has happened, and it’s been a few days. Is the Federation Government still undecided on what to do?”

“The Federation is still considering whether or not to start a war with the marine folks. After all, the Federation is already dealing with the behemoth Infinite Demon Mountain. I’m afraid the odds of winning are low with the addition of the marine folks,” Bai Wen said worriedly.

Chu Yunfan discovered that the Federation Government had split into two factions. One faction wanted war, while the other wanted a peace treaty with the marine folks.

The marine folks and Infinite Demon Mountain had joined forces to bully the Federation, and a war was about to break out. It was impossible to avoid it even if they wanted to. Now, the only way was to fight.

As for the peace-seeking side, the current quasi-Federation could not afford to fight against the two major forces simultaneously, especially now that so many Divines had fallen. They could not act rashly.

“At a time like this, those people still think peace talks will be helpful?” Chu Yunfan sneered.

Maybe he did not understand what those people were thinking. Maybe the marine folks would not stand on the Infinite Demon Mountain’s side as long as the Federation met their needs.

However, these people had never thought about the benefits the Federation could offer to bribe the marine folks compared to the great benefits of them destroying the Federation.

The marine folks knew doing so would cause a complete falling out with the Federation. Still, they had done it. There was only one possibility—they already planned for there to be a fallout.

However, this was also because the Federation needed a leader or influential figure to hold the fort. They could not agree with each others’ opinions and were pushing each other around.

That was the disadvantage of democracy.

“Has the rescue operation started yet?” Chu Yunfan asked.

“We’ve already mobilized all the troops we can to rescue them. However, Infinite Demon Mountain and the marine folks have prepared long ago. They have intercepted our people at the ruin’s periphery, so our people can’t break in,” Bai Wen said worriedly.

Then he quickly showed Chu Yunfan a video. The footage started above the Infinite Sea where the Federation’s army had been dispatched. Various warships, underwater space carriers, and mechas covered the sky and blotted out the sun.

However, this was the Infinite Sea region. The marine folks were even more endless. There were also countless low-intelligence sea beasts that continuously filled the sea surface, blocking the Federation Army’s advancement. It was simply impossible to kill them all.

The fleet of Infinite Demon Mountain had also appeared in the sky, trying their best to stop the Federation’s fleet from entering the ruin. Countless aerial monsters rushed in from all directions. They filled the sky and fought numerous mechas.

The battlefield looked tragic. Countless monsters died at every moment, while numerous mechas got blown up. The human experts inside them ended up in the beasts’ stomachs.

Countless monsters were constantly attacking the motherships in the water and the warships in the sky.

One side went all out in order to save their experts, while the other side risked their lives to block them.

“There are Divine monsters?” Chu Yunfan squinted his eyes.

He spotted many Divine monsters and marine folks on the battlefield fighting with all their might to stop the Federation Army. Otherwise, those monsters and sea beasts alone would not be able to stop the advance of the Federation Army.

Those Divine monsters were simply too terrifying. Even if a warship fired hundreds of cannons of various calibers at the same time, it would still be difficult to catch their shadows.

As for the ordinary mechas, they were even more vulnerable. The mechas that were comparable to Innates were too fragile in front of these Divine monsters. They could not even withstand a single blow.

In just a few days of battle, the losses had already exceeded the strength of an entire army. Divines were too important that the Federation had to save them at all costs. Otherwise, they would have given up on such a huge loss. After all, it was not worth it for the remains.

Of course, Infinite Demon Mountain and the marine folks had also suffered great losses, but they were still sending countless monsters and sea beasts to the battlefield. They didn’t want to give up.

“That’s right. These Divine monsters are too troublesome.” Bai Wen shook his head. “We don’t have the combat power to fight against them.”

“Didn’t the Academy of Science successfully develop super mechas?” Chu Yunfan asked.

At his level, he naturally knew many secrets that others didn’t know. One of them was the super mechas that the Federation had been researching and developing, which was comparable to the combat power of Divines.

In fact, it was not difficult to develop this kind of mech. With the accumulation of various high-end technology, a few could be produced. However, the problem was mass production.

Compared to the Holy Land, Infinite Demon Mountain, and the marine folks, the Federation’s biggest advantage was that it could mass-produce all kinds of high-tech weapons. It was known as the amazing ability of a violent army.

If it could not be mass-produced, it would not make much of a difference whether there was one or not. In a real large-scale battle, a few of these mechas would not be able to play a decisive role and would be used up very quickly.

However, in general, this was the top combat power that humans could currently bring out.
