1050 Reaching an Agreement, Full Integration

Chu Yunfan wanted to prioritize finalizing the attitude of the current three out of the original six superpowers.

Now that these three superpowers were willing to join the Federation, it was enough to finalize the general framework.

Fortunately, although the nuclear explosion had happened, the venue on the peak of the Holy Mountain was still there. Everyone could use this venue. The others had previously used it to discuss invading the Federation.

After everyone took their seats, Chu Yunfan said, “Let’s use this place to discuss integrating the Holy Land into the Federation. You three shall represent the Holy Land, while I will serve as the Federation’s representative. There should be no objections, correct?”

!!
Many people nodded. With his current power and influence, they would not doubt his identity as the Federation’s number one expert, let alone as the head of Special Ops. After all, he was among the most senior officials in the Federation.

With Chu Yunfan’s current power and influence, there was a high chance he would be elected as the Federation’s president in the future. His words were naturally worth nine previous cauldrons, and his promises were worth a thousand golds.

“Mr. Chu, how does the Federation plan to help us settle down?” one of the Divines asked.

“The Federation is divided into many satellite cities built around base cities. According to my initial plan, we will arrange for ordinary people of the Holy Land to live in these base cities or satellite cities. That way, they won’t have to worry about food or clothing,” Chu Yunfan said, “We will assign then these base cities or satellite cities to you, your sects, and your families.”

Everyone agreed after some thought. Above all else, these people knew that the Kunlun Realm was the Federation’s territory. The Federation would not allow them to unite and rebel against them.

In such a way, they had to divide and split themselves into the Federation’s vast territory. In a place unfamiliar with people and land, it was naturally impossible for them to unite and go against the government.

Fortunately, they were allowed to move their entire sect, not wholly split up. Otherwise, they would be isolated.

However, according to what they knew, Divines were considered top elites in the Federation. They dominated a region, and no one dared to provoke them. Even if they split into various places, they would not get kicked when they were down.

This was the best choice for them. After all, the Federation had far more resources and development prospects than the Holy Land.

Infinity Camp’s sect leader said, “I wonder if we could perhaps join the Federation Government?”

“Of course, you can. The Federation Government welcomes all heroes willing to serve it, especially Divines like yourself,” Chu Yunfan nodded and continued, “Experts like yourselves can choose to join the Federation Government or the Federation Army.

“However, I must say some things that you may be uncomfortable with. The Federation is not a place to play house. Whether you join the Federation Government or Army is up to you.

“But since you’ve chosen to join us and enjoy our protection and many development benefits, you must go to the battlefield whenever the Federation Government summons you.”

Chu Yunfan continued, “Unlike your Holy Land, the Federation pays attention to the equality of power and obligation. Even Divines are no exception. Although Divines are typically above the rest, you’d be wrong if you think you’re above the Federation. I’ve personally captured Divines and put them on trial before.”

His words quickly made the Divines’ hearts tremble. They were above the rest in the Holy Land, and none could restrain them. However, they would soon have to follow the Federation’s laws like ordinary people.

It was a tremendous challenge for them since they had grown accustomed to being arrogant and overbearing. Still, they knew Chu Yunfan meant what he had said. After all, he had the strength to carry out his plans.

The Divines had already prepared themselves for the Federation Government’s recruitment. Ultimately, they could not completely break away from the Federation’s system when they were in its territory.

“As for whether you want to join our government or army, I can guarantee that the Federation will treat you fairly whichever you may choose. You will be promoted as long as you contribute to the Federation,” Chu Yunfan said.

That was natural because these experts directly supplemented the high-end combat power the Federation lacked most. Chu Yunfan could not suppress them. Instead, he had to put them in important positions.

However, the influx of these experts would take much authority from the local tyrants within the Federation. The Federation only had a few experts in the past. Introducing more experts and hundreds of Divines now would make Divines more accessible than before, which was unsuitable for these people.

One could even imagine it would cause the Federation’s citizens to reject them.

Still, this was fine for Chu Yunfan as it was related to the Federation’s future development. Whoever dared to oppose him would be suppressed.

With the addition of hundreds of Divines, the importance of these people to the Federation rapidly decreased. Naturally, they had no capital to jump around.

Longevity Faith’s leader said, “We also hope for that guarantee. After all, the Holy Land needs it to integrate into the Federation.”

“My words are my guarantee,” Chu Yunfan said simply, “Of course, some might not believe it, but I believe benefits are the best guarantee. You need the Federation to provide a place to live, and the Federation needs you to provide high-end combat power.

“So, I believe that you can integrate with us successfully. It’s not just a verbal promise since we need each other, right?”

His words were unpleasant to hear, but they were still somewhat comforting. They were no longer children and understood Chu Yunfan was speaking the truth instead of giving pleasant-sounding guarantees.

Divines were of great value to the Federation. It was much more helpful than any verbal or contractual guarantee.

With this foundation, the negotiation ended successfully. Furthermore, everyone present was a big shot. As for the details, they would have to wait until Chu Yunfan returned to the Kunlun Realm and allow the Federation time to organize a delegation and discuss things.

Meanwhile, everyone had forgotten about Hellfire, the Wei Clan, Green Loti, and the other small sects. That was how cruel the world was.
