The Quantum Wanderer

I am sleeping, a pile of dragonesses on top of me.  Siratra is to the side.  Cecilia wakes me up.  I stir a little, and the dragonesses wake up as well.

“It is time to get back to the encampment…”

The dragonesses start dressing their school attire.  I really enjoy seeing them naked.  Cecilia bows down, and gives me a peck on the lips.  She is then followed by the dragonesses.

They go outside the room a little bit, I am assuming that they are going to get some breakfast here.  Some time later, they come back, I had started to sleep.

I open the portal to their tent, and they crawl through it.

I see Siratra, and I get close to spoon with her, but in her sleep she moves farther.  I just turn around to my side and fall asleep again.

When I go down for breakfast, I can see that Rudolph is nervous.

“What happened, Rudolph?”

“Sir, I am sorry!  I will take personal responsibility!”

“What happened?”

“Some dragon meat is missing.”

“Oh.  Don’t worry.  The girls probably took a piece out to have breakfast.  They left in the middle of the night.”

“Oh, thanks the gods!”

“And if something like that happens, it’s ok.  Just tell me about it, I will never put this on your shoulders, ok?”

“Thank you, sir.”

He is now making a weird face.  I am kind of getting used to the amount of weird faces I am seeing almost every day.

After breakfast, Siratra asks to go to school, and I open a portal for her.  I go to the guild, I have to acquire a map with the entry to the dwarven kingdom.  After I get my map, I decide to sit down a little bit.

“Lionheart!” Richard, the ever extrovert call me out.

“Hey.”

“Are you alone?  Did the lionesses allow you to wander by yourself?”

I just put an eyebrow up.

“They did, what do you know?  They are actually doing their hunting.”

“Huh?”

“Cecilia is in magic school, and the other girls are in the knight school.  They are out on their exam.  They have to hunt a dire wolf.”

“Do you think they will manage it?”

“They are mithril adventurers.  A dire wolf is not challenge.”

“Oh?  Really?  What about you?”

I show him my mithril tag as well.  He has this funny face.

“Why do you still wear your steel one?”

“Huh.  Good question.  Mostly, I like going unnoticed.  And I can always show the other one if I have to.”

“That’s the opposite of everyone here, but to each their own.  Are you going to pick any quests? I have never seen you picking up one.  Do you not need that?”

“Something like that…  What quests are you picking up?”

“There is a den of thieves on the way to Arthuria, of course.”

“Of course?”

“Yes…  Arthuria is always a problem.”

“How many bandits?  How much is it going to pay?  Is it paying the same for dead or alive?”

“It is going to pay a gold coin for each 20 levels.  They got themselves a level measurement device that can operate on a dead body.  Pretty new stuff.  They are estimating around 50 to 100 bandits, with levels 25 and above.”

“How far is the den?”

“It’s about a week’s travel from here.”

“Neehh…  I may sound conceited, but it is just too far.  I am going to check if they have something a closer, but good luck.”

I decided to try to pick up a quest.  I go to the quest board, and I see a request for a bullgoose, and it is paying big, 30 platinum coins.  It is apparently dangerously close to another county.  If it decides to move in the direction of the city, it will become a calamity.  I could pick it up the normal way, but I decide to get it straight with the guild master, to get some anonymity.  I go to the counter, and ask the girl to speak to the guild master.  She goes out, and a couple of minutes after she gestures at me, from the top of the stairs, to come meet with the guild master.

“Hi sir Marcelo, how can I help you?”

“I saw you guys have a request for a bullgoose, I can get it.  I would just rather do it in a hush hush way, I don’t really like spreading this kind of information out.”

“Of course…  But… Just making sure, are you sure you’re not going to…  petrify?”

“I have my tricks.  Can you provide me a map on where I can find it?”

“Sure.”

He goes to his table, and grabs a map in a drawer.  He gets a pen, and circles an area, then hands over the map to me.

I take a look, it is close to a city that I haven’t visited yet.  I get out of the guild and tell Muninn and Huginn to go home, hunting a bullgoose is dangerous for them.  I go into the forest, and portal myself to the sky around the area in the map.  I do a fly spell, from a safe distance, and start looking.  I see a lot of stone statues of animals around, and then I locate the monster.  As usual, their colors are very distinctive.in

They are no longer a challenge.  I was already able to avoid the petrification process before I acquired the petrification skill, that is now in master level.  But I am going to be careful about it.  I land in a place far enough, isolate myself from the mana, and advance towards the beast.  As always, they don’t perceive anything as foe.

I get close to it, and I put it down with a punch on the forehead.  I feel like Ruby for a moment, and smile.  I bag it, now that it is dead, and I can feel the mana around the place coming back to normal.  I portal myself to the forest outside Ironhold, and go back to the guild.  I think I spent a total of some 4 hours on the job.  I feel like I am cheating the system, but it is not my place to complain.

I go to the counter, and again I ask to talk to the guild master.

“Hello, sir Marcelo.  Is there anything else you need?”

“Nope, the quest is done.  I was wondering what the rewards for the carcass would be.”

“But… but… The place is at least two weeks away from here.  How…?  Nevermind…”

The guild master massages his forehead a little bit, and remembers stuff that I have already brought.

“Well, I don’t quite have a number for it.  It is going to pay a lot less than a dragon, of course, but we have to auction it.”

I am thinking to myself that the leather is really good, soft and resistant.  The dragon leather I have is more resistant, but it is really hard.  And having some different meat once in a while is a good thing.

“How much to dismantle it?”

“Well, considering you did the quest so quickly, I could throw the dismantling as a bonus.”

“Cool.  By the way, please keep the guts, I have some birds I would like to feed, and using noble meat for that…  I think they even prefer the guts.”

“O..k…  Please follow me.”

We go to the secret dismantling room, and I put the bullgoose down.

“By the gods, what a beautiful beast.  Where is the fight wound?”

“Oh, they don’t run or fight, they just stand there.  So I just punched it on the head, and that’s it.”

I say that, while slapping my biceps and smiling.  With the amount of strength I already have, I didn’t even need to reinforce myself with mana.  I really don’t miss putting my life on the line, I think I matured on that aspect.

“Oh…  Sure.  I am going to need some days to have the quest’s fund available, can I ask you for a week?  I will have your bullgoose dismantled in 2 days.”

“No problem, thank you.”

I leave the room, and on my way out, I meet Richard again.

“Lionheart!  You’re not going to believe it!  Some moron is committing suicide!”

“What do you mean?”

“There was a quest for a bullgoose!  It was taken down!  Someone picked it up!”

“Really?”

“Yes.  Some people have no idea.  No amount of money is worth your life.”

“I guess.  Well, I am going home, it is getting late.”

“Sure, see you.”

“See you too.”

I go home, and I have a shower.  Right after that, Siratra asks to come home, and I portal her in.  As we are going downstairs, the girls ask me to portal them, and I open the portal to their tent.

“..told you!”

“How were we supposed to know?  That was just moronic.”

“Just look around…”

And the girls come crawling out of the portal.  I am curious.

“What happened?  Ruby?”

“Good evening, my lord.  Oh, we received the task to hunt a dire wolf, and then we went into the forest, following the scents.  It is not something we usually eat, but it smells like a…  worse Fenrir…?  So we decided to go deeper in the forest, and hunt fenrirs instead.  What would we do with dire wolf meat?  No one should be forced to eat that trash.”

She looks at Shandon and Opal that nod.

“But then Cecilia might have mentioned that we were supposed to only get a dire wolf, and as a group.  That obviously did not make any sense…  If that was the case, they would have us hunt something bigger, like a griphon.  Then we proceeded to each of us kill their prey.”

Cecilia made a face, and continued.

“When it was my turn to get one, they actually pushed me towards a Fenrir that was in the area! Then they left me there.  Your silent death did wonders, specially because I didn’t even have to get near it.  When we got to the professors…” She looked around, “I proved right.  The other groups were bringing one dire wolf each, and we got both good marks and a lot of scolding.  They even took the fenrirs as punishment.”

I feel quite split on this.  The professors getting the fenrirs was wrong.  Perhaps I should mention that to Edward.  I don’t want to push my weight around, though.

“It’s ok.  I will talk to Edward about that tomorrow morning.  And we haven’t been eating Fenrir meat anyway.  Just get ready for dinner, and then we can talk a little more.”

They went up, and after some half an hour, came back down.  They are much more relaxed.  Cecilia sits next to me.

“This thing of being able to come back home for dinner is such a cheat!  I wonder what people would say if they knew…”

“I have never lived happier times than these beside my lord…” Shandon mentioned.  I gestured for her to get closer, and I gave her a peck on the lips.  I looked at the other girls, and I gestured for them as well, and I gave each of them a peck on the lips as well.

“You all make me very happy too.  I love each and every one of you.”

They all got red on the face.  We proceeded to have dinner.  As always, Roberta really knows how do cook a steak.  The girls tell me that the following day is going to be the march back home.

The next day, Opal is the one waking me up.  She is touching me too softly, but I end up waking up anyway.  The girls are already dressed, they just woke me to open up the portal.  I do it, and they craw back into their tent.

I go back to bed, to sleep until sunrise.

After breakfast, I ask Muninn to let me know when Edward’s carriage is at his front porch, I have to talk to him about the Fenrir meat.  When Muninn caws, I go outside, and meet his carriage as it is leaving his home.  I could yell, or I can just visit him in the school.  The expedition still has to come back anyway.  So I decide to go to school with Siratra.

The walk there is a pleasant one.  The commerce is opening up, the city is waking up, ready for a new day.

We go to the command school, and then we split.  I go to the dean’s office, and let Edward’s secretary know that I would like to speak to him.

“Hi Marcelo, how are you?”

“Very well.  I even did a little questing yesterday, it was fun for a change.”

“So I’ve heard…  Is that meat good?  Your poor friends, Anthon and I, have never tasted bullgoose…”

“Poor?  Really?” I laugh.

“So, what can I do for you?”

“The expedition for the final test in the school…  Who keeps the kill?”

“The students, obviously.  You get what you hunt.  Why?  Did something happen?”

“Well…  I don’t want to force anything, but…  The girls, instead of hunting a dire wolf, decided to go for a Fenrir…”

He started laughing.

“Of course…  I can only imagine the face of the professors…”

“Each…”

“Even Cecilia?”

“Yup, even Cecilia…”

He laughed harder.

“I guess she should be promoted as well.  Fenrirs are supposed to be the target of group of mithril…  But was there a problem?”

“The professors apparently punished them for going beyond what was needed, by taking the fenrirs…  It’s not like I particularly care about a Fenrir, but it feels a little messed up.”

“Yes…  I am not liking that either.  They probably think that because you guys are…  don’t have a noble title here, that they can push you around.  I appreciate you bringing this to my attention, they should not do that to anyone.  This academy is supposed to ignore noble status.”

“Sure, thank *you*.  Let me know when you are not too busy, we can catch up.”

“Of course.”

I leave his office, and walk around.  The classrooms are empty.  I go back to Edward’s office, and I ask his secretary where the students are.  She tells me that the classes are already over.  I tell her that Siratra came to school, and she mentions that she is in professor Ambrose’s office, and tells me how to get there.

As I am approaching, I hear voices coming from the office.  They are apparently talking about something in a passionate way.  I knock.  I just hear Ambrose shouting.

“GO AWAY!”

“Ok.”

“Master?”  Siratra recognizes my voice.

“Yes.”

The door opens, she is holding it.  Ambrose is in the back, and there is a third student with them.  Ambrose seems worried about something.

“I am sorry, sir Marcelo!  Apologies, I didn’t know it was you.  I thought it was some of the morons trying to get me to change a grade!”

“No problem.  What are you guys talking about?”

“Oh, we are talking about the formula for calculating the volume of a sphere.”

“Huh…  Did you guys reach any point?”

He sighs, apparently half sad, half tired.

“Not really.  Would you like to entertain us a bit?”

“I don’t really mind, but do you guys have the time?”

“Of course, sir!”

“Ok, then.”

I move over to a clean white board, and I start by proving the formula for the series of squared numbers.  Then I give them some time to absorb that.  I could just throw the formula on the board, but I decided to show them some math behind it, so that they can use to move on.

Then I proceed to explain the formula for the surface area of a sphere, using Archimedes proof.  I have to go over it some times.  Ambrose looks like a kid.  And then I can see the cogs in his head turning, when I make the number of sides of the polygon go to infinite.

When I am showing them the way to calculate the volume of a pyramid, the Comm gem shakes.  I go outside to talk to the girls.  I tell them where I am, and they start coming up to meet us.  I go back in the room, it is starting to get late.  I can see that Ambrose is happy that I am going to continue the explanation.

I finish with the volume of the pyramid the girls arrive.  The office is too small for them to get into it, so I kiss each one of them in the mouth, and they wait outside the room, chatting about the exam.  After I finish the explanation for the volume of the pyramid, I wrap up with the volume of the sphere.

I leave them inside the room, and get outside, and chat with the girls.  I tell them that Edward is going to make sure they get their fenrirs.  They said they were ok, but then they could at least sell it to the guild.

After some time, Siratra comes out of the room.  I can hear Ambrose asking some questions, and still discussing what was written on the boards.  The girls and I decide to walk home.  We shower, have dinner, and then go to bed.

The first light of dawn filtered through the grand windows of our new manor, casting a golden glow over the sprawling bed where my mate sisters and I had gathered. I, Marcelo, lay back against the plush pillows, my cock already throbbing with anticipation. It had been too long since we’d indulged like this, and the air was thick with the scent of their arousal. Shandon, Opal, Aquamarine, and Ruby—my dragon women in human form—surrounded me, their eyes hungry, while Cecilia, the human among them, hovered nearby with her signature wicked grin. Siratra, my demoness slave, lingered in the shadows as always, her gaze fixed on us, though something about her seemed off today—a slight furrow in her brow, perhaps, or the way she shifted uneasily. But I dismissed it as her typical distance; she wasn’t one to interfere, after all. She called me ’master,’ but right now, she was content to just watch, or so I thought.

”My lord,” Shandon purred, her average enthusiasm evident in the way she crawled onto the bed, her curves pressing against my side. Her human-form skin was warm, like heated silk, and she wasted no time trailing her fingers down my chest. ”We’ve missed this... missed you claiming us.”

I grabbed her wrist firmly, asserting my dominance. ”Then show me, Shandon. All of you—show your lord how much you’ve craved this.” My voice was a low growl, commanding and unyielding, as I pulled her closer, my hard cock brushing against her thigh. The other mate sisters murmured in agreement, their bodies shifting eagerly. Ruby, ever the enthusiastic one, was already on her knees between my legs, her eyes gleaming with raw lust. ”Oh, my lord, I’ve been dreaming of your cock filling me up,” she moaned, her hands wrapping around my shaft with a possessive grip. She stroked me roughly, her pace frantic, as if she couldn’t get enough.

Opal, with her dignified mannerism, approached more gracefully, her movements poised like a queen. ”As you wish, my lord,” she said smoothly, positioning herself beside Ruby. She leaned in to kiss my neck, her lips soft yet deliberate, contrasting Ruby’s wild energy. But it was Aquamarine who surprised me first—shy as always, she hesitated at the edge of the bed, her cheeks flushing. ”M-my lord,” she whispered, barely audible. Then, in a flash of dirty audacity, she pounced, her tongue darting out to lick the tip of my cock while Ruby stroked the base. ”Taste him, sisters,” Aquamarine urged, her voice turning filthy as she sucked me deep, her shyness melting into pure depravity. I groaned, my hand fisting in her hair, guiding her roughly as I thrust up into her mouth.

From the corner of my eye, I caught Siratra adjusting her position, her arms crossed tightly over her chest, a faint sigh escaping her lips. She muttered something under her breath—maybe ”Master” again—but it lacked her usual resigned tone, carrying an edge I couldn’t quite place. Still, I didn’t dwell on it; my focus was on the feast before me. Cecilia, my villain as she called me, circled the bed with a sly smile. ”Oh, my villain, you’re going to ruin us all over again,” she teased, her human form stripped bare, revealing her perky tits and slick pussy. She straddled my face without hesitation, grinding her wet folds against my mouth. I lapped at her greedily, my tongue plunging into her depths while my mate sisters worked my cock. ”That’s it, take what you need,” I commanded, my words muffled against Cecilia’s clit. She bucked wildly, her moans echoing through the manor, but I controlled the pace, holding her hips steady as I devoured her.

The room filled with the sounds of our passion—wet slurps, gasps, and the rhythmic slap of skin. Ruby, never one to be outdone, pushed Aquamarine aside and mounted me first, sinking down onto my throbbing shaft with a triumphant cry. ”Fuck, my lord, you’re so big,” she panted, riding me hard, her tits bouncing with each thrust. I gripped her hips, slamming up into her, feeling her tight pussy clench around me. Shandon joined in, kissing Ruby deeply while fondling her breasts, their mate sister bond on full display. Opal, ever dignified, positioned herself behind Ruby, reaching around to rub her clit, amplifying her pleasure. ”Let us serve you properly, my lord,” Opal murmured, her fingers working expertly.

Aquamarine, now fully unleashed, moved to Cecilia, pulling her into a heated kiss as I continued to eat her out. ”You’re such a dirty little thing,” Aquamarine whispered to Cecilia, her words dripping with unexpected vulgarity. Cecilia responded by fingering Aquamarine’s pussy, their fingers intertwining in a mess of slickness. Meanwhile, Siratra remained in her spot, her eyes locked on the scene, but her posture was rigid, almost tense, like she was holding back words. I glanced her way briefly, thinking she might be envious or simply observing, but the thought faded as the pleasure intensified.

I flipped Ruby onto her back, taking control fully. ”Now, all of you—line up and take turns,” I ordered, my voice rough with authority. One by one, they obeyed: Shandon next, her average pace quickening as I pounded into her from behind, her ass slapping against me. Opal followed, riding me reverse cowgirl, her dignified facade cracking as she begged for more. Aquamarine surprised us again, squirting as I fucked her, her juices soaking the sheets. Cecilia climaxed on my fingers, screaming my title.

As the morning sun rose higher, we collapsed in a heap of exhausted limbs and satisfied sighs. The girls had gotten what they craved, their happiness palpable, but Siratra stayed put, her distant watchfulness unchanged on the surface. I pulled my mate sisters close, oblivious to any undercurrents. ”My girls,” I said, ”this is just the beginning.”

We take another shower to clean the fluids, and go down for breakfast.  As we are talking about the events that happened, Rudolph brings in a letter that has just arrived, together with a holding bag.  I open the letter.

“You broke my professor.  Again! Just kidding.  The holding bag contains the fenrirs.  Edward”

I turn to the girls.

“Edward probably gave a talking to the professors that tried to appropriate the fenrirs you girls got, and got the fenrirs back.  They are in this bag.  Who wants to keep the bag?”

“Do you need to keep any for the house?  I can sell the other ones in the guild and split the money.”

“I do have to go to the guild today…  Actually, tomorrow.  I am waiting on them dismantling something I brought in.”

“Did you do a quest?”

“Yup.  There was a bullgoose hunt. So…  Now it is getting dismantled.  I have to go by the guild tomorrow to pick it up.  They had actually asked for two days, but it might be ready, so I am going to go by to check.”  I turn around, and ask Rudolph to get close.

“Rudolph, how much Fenrir meat do we still have?  Do we have any?”

“We have sir, we sometimes buy some, though the main use is just feeding the birds and complementing the meals for the maids that have a lower level.  They don’t really eat much.”

“Does Fenrir meat go bad?  How long can it last?”

“At room temperature it might go bad.  A lot slower than other meats, like cow, dire wolf or some other lower level monsters.  But with the cold room we have, it doesn’t.”

“There are some fenrirs that the girls hunted by mistake.  Do you think keeping one is enough for some time?”

“I am sorry, sir, but…  By mistake?  Sorry sir, not my place to ask.  One would last for months.  We consume somewhere around 10 lbs per day.  But we don’t really have anyone to dismantle it.”

“Ok, I am going to see to it.”

The classes are over, so we decide to go to the guild together.  Siratra is going to stay working with Ambrose, apparently.  He is now investigating the formulas I gave him, and checking on how he can improve, and some other uses for that math.

The girls and I go to the guild.  When they enter, everyone stops what they are doing and take a look.  As I enter after them, people get back at staring at their cups and the talking resumes.

I go to the counter, and I am waiting for my turn.  The girls go to the quests section, to give a look if there is anything they would get.  After sometime, I reach the counter.

“Hello sir, how can I help you?”

At this point, Richard went back to his table, back to his ale.

“I want to sell 4 fenrirs, I want to have the fifth dismantled, and then I want to sell the leather and bones.  I want to keep just the meat.  And I also want to check on the other dismantling.”

“Other dismantling?  What do you mean?”

The attendant to her right side looked at us.

“It is something he checked with the guild master.  I heard that Daniel is working his way on dismantling something big.” She turned to me. “You will have to meet up with him, sir.”

“Thank you.”  I turn to the attendant in front of me. “Let me provide you the fenrirs then.”

I accompany her to the public dismantling station, and I drop the 5 fenrirs on the floor.  Then we go back to the counter.

“That is going to be 4 fenrirs, 75 gold each.  The last one, I can give you 50 gold and its meat.  I will be giving you the meat in two days, the time for Daniel to finish the current job and then yours. How does that sound?”

“That’s good.”

She pays me with 3 platinum and 50 gold coins.

“Anything else?”

“Can I talk to the guild master?”

“Oh, sorry, I forgot for a second.”

The same protocol happens, and I go up to meet with the guild master.

“Come in!”

“Hi, good morning.  I know that I am ahead of schedule, but I wonder if the bullgoose dismantling is close to being finished…”

“Last time I checked, it almost was.  Let’s go check it.”

We go down, and meet up with Daniel.  There are big chuncks of everything.  Bones, a single piece of the characteristic leather, meat and guts.  I put it all inside my holding bag, and then I go towards the girls.  They are taking a look at some of the top paying jobs, some involving noble escorting, some are merchant escorting, and some of them hunting something.  Nothing as big as the mines with the termites thing.

“I never thought I would say this, but it’s not quite worth it…” Cecilia was saying when I approached.

“Did you girls find anything worthwhile?”

Cecilia turned her head quickly, she hadn’t noticed that I was close.  “Not really.”

“Well, I got the stuff that I was going to pick up here already.  And I have the map with the point for the dwarves.  What do you say we do a little trip?”
