Chapter 806: Chapter 803: Brainwashing the Kunlun Sect Leadership

Especially the words of Daoist Tianxing, ”Please bear with this,” left everyone unsettled. Such humility was unprecedented, and it gave Xiao Tian plenty of face!

Originally, Xiao Tian was not there to stir up trouble, so when he was brought here, he went with the flow. After clasping his hands in thanks, he sat calmly in the seat of Celestial Punishment Daoist.

Although his expression did not change, Xiao Tian felt quite puzzled. Why would the high-level meeting of the Kunlun Sect invite an outsider like him, and it seemed that Daoist Tianxing knew exactly when he would arrive, waiting for him on purpose.

However, on second thought, the Kunlun Sect, as half the masters of Kunlun Mountain, would at least have full awareness of everything happening within a certain range outside their sect.

He neither concealed his presence nor deliberately hid from them, so being discovered was quite normal.

Moments later, Daoist Tianxing said calmly, ”First of all, we welcome our young friend’s arrival. Next, we will discuss some issues within the sect. If you have any insights, feel free to express them!”

Xiao Tian agreed politely. Since Daoist Tianxing had warmly invited him, listening wouldn’t hurt, but as for offering any opinions, he did not take it seriously, considering it just a formality.

Following that, Daoist Tianxing pointed out some issues concerning the disciples, but in most cases, it was a self-questioning and self-answering session.

”I feel that the disciples in our sect have become lax in their body technique. Do any of the fellow brothers have insights?” Daoist Tianxing asked, his gaze sweeping across the faces of the elders.

Before anyone had a chance to speak, he continued, ”Since none of my brothers have spoken, let me first share my views. First of all...”

After Daoist Tianxing finished reeling off a string of his own views, he once again perused the elders with his eyes and inquired, ”Do any of the fellow brothers have opinions?!”

Having spoken so extensively, which of the Kunlun Sect elders dared to openly contradict the sect leader? So they just looked at each other in silence.

In the end, Daoist Tianxing simply decided, ”Since there are no opinions, let’s proceed for now with this plan!”

The elders were flabbergasted; though they hadn’t explicitly agreed, they hadn’t explicitly disagreed either.

However, as the sect leader, Daoist Tianxing didn’t concern himself with that, interpreted the silence as tacit agreement, and signed and sealed his approval, declaring it unanimously passed.

After such scenarios occurred once or twice, the elders realized Daoist Tianxing’s purpose: he intended to break the rules established by Celestial Punishment Daoist.

Additionally, it was a clear message to everyone — in the Kunlun Sect, it was still Daoist Tianxing who had the final say!

...

When Xiao Tian was nearly dozing off, Daoist Tianxing finally stopped his solo performance and moved on to the next topic — the current situation of the Kunlun Sect.

This suddenly piqued Xiao Tian’s interest, banishing his drowsiness.

Just at this moment, Daoist Tianxing spoke, ”Regarding the current situation in our sect, I would like to invite young friend Xiao Tian to share his views. It’s said that the onlooker sees more of the game, so we hope young friend will speak frankly!”

Daoist Tianxing’s words exactly suited Xiao Tian’s intentions. He promptly stood and said, ”Since Sect Leader Tianxing has warmly invited me, I will venture to share my thoughts!”

These words were neither arrogant nor humble, providing Daoist Tianxing due respect, making it impossible for anyone to find fault.

After a pause, Xiao Tian continued, ”Regarding the current situation at Kunlun Mountain, everyone should be aware. I think those scattered rebels can’t cause much of a storm. The main forces are those led by Master Guanghuai domestically and the Water Drop Organization abroad!”

Seeing everyone nodding in agreement, Xiao Tian continued, ”At this point, both sides are evenly matched, and it can be said that the only one capable of upsetting the balance is your Kunlun Sect!”

Chuckling, Xiao Tian added, ”I suppose you’ve all been approached with olive branches by both sides lately?”

The elders’ expressions changed ever so slightly — these shrewd individuals wouldn’t expose themselves just because of Xiao Tian’s words, and immediately they all focused their eyes and minds as if they hadn’t heard anything.

Seeing this didn’t surprise Xiao Tian, but he only mentioned it without delving deeper into the issue.

Of course, Xiao Tian wasn’t speaking idly; his purpose was merely to give everyone a warning so they wouldn’t try to trip him in his subsequent remarks.

All of this was clear to Daoist Tianxing, but he didn’t stop Xiao Tian because he understood that with Xiao Tian’s intellect, he was sure to grasp his intentions and handle the matter well.

As Daoist Tianxing expected, after briefly mentioning it, Xiao Tian shifted the discussion to the main topic.

”As an outsider, I consider this a golden opportunity for your Kunlun Sect; missing it would be regrettable for a decade!”

The elders were taken aback, feeling like Xiao Tian’s comments and demeanor resembled that of a cult leader brainwashing his followers, causing them to unwittingly roll their eyes.

However, Xiao Tian wasn’t concerned about their reactions; he understood that these words only needed to be heard by Daoist Tianxing.

The other party needed a reason from him, and he was happy to offer this gesture of goodwill.

Master Guanghuai and others were already his enemies, and there was no need to mention the Water Drop Organization. Whatever loss either side incurred, Xiao Tian would be glad to see it!

Subsequently, Xiao Tian analyzed, ”Firstly, although both sides seem to be extending olive branches to you, implying you are in a passive position, I believe you can turn this passive situation into an active one.”

With these words, an elder immediately stood and questioned, ”Are you saying we should take the initiative to negotiate terms with them, and if they refuse, we’ll switch sides?!”

Xiao Tian snapped his fingers, ”Clever! But if you do it that way, you might face the wrath of the whole world even before gaining any benefits!”

”Then what do you suggest?!” The teased elder asked, not entirely pleased.

This was exactly what Xiao Tian was waiting for. Hearing it, he immediately responded, ”First, you should actively approach Master Guanghuai. Regardless of the topic, at least send a signal to outsiders that——Kunlun Sect is likely to stand on the side of Huaxia forces.”

”At this moment, external forces represented by the Water Drop Organization will certainly fall into temporary panic,” Xiao Tian added. ”Therefore, this is the time to convey a vague and ambiguous stance to these external forces.”
