God-Level Special Forces Soldier

Lin Kaizhong is notorious for being a troublemaker, and his persistence is also well-known. As long as it’s something he wants to manage, even if others don’t need him to, he insists on seeing it through to the end.

But this person has one advantage, which is extreme fairness. He always helps the party with reason on their side, which is what makes it difficult for Celestial Punishment Daoist.

Now, Lin Kaizhong openly siding with Saintly Sea Daoist, regardless of whether Yun You really spied on the opposing Secret Technique or not, outsiders will certainly view it as them being at fault, since there are very few who can uncover the truth.

The vast majority would be swayed by public opinion. When the incident of Kunlun Sect’s disciples offending a great taboo is exposed, it would be a major disaster for Yun You, Celestial Punishment Daoist himself, or even the Kunlun Sect.

Celestial Punishment Daoist, who had witnessed the demise of the Celestial Demon Stronghold, felt an indescribable sense of unease about this.

The situation had developed to this point, it was completely out of control, no longer a matter of who should step back or lose some face.

Lin Kaizhong’s involvement was undoubtedly something even Saintly Sea Daoist did not anticipate. If Celestial Punishment Daoist felt troubled by his involvement, then he could only feel furious about this sudden change.

Originally, Saintly Sea Daoist, with right on his side, merely wanted an explanation and hoped to force Celestial Punishment Daoist to step back, turning a big matter into a small one. With compensation and apology, the matter could have been resolved!

However, Lin Kaizhong’s actions undoubtedly rendered his previous plan invalid, fearing that even with complete reason on his side, Celestial Punishment Daoist would not agree to let the matter drop.

Given the situation, he had no choice but to see it through to the end. Saintly Sea Daoist felt that there was no need to be conflicted about this matter, after all, with reason on his side, it didn’t matter if things got blown out of proportion.

And Celestial Punishment Daoist was certainly aware of this, secretly giving a look to the two Lei Tong brothers behind Saintly Sea Daoist, having no choice but to adopt a ’no going back’ approach at this point!

Looking at Saintly Sea Daoist on the opposite side with a face full of righteousness, Celestial Punishment Daoist gritted his teeth in his heart, thinking, ”You’ve left me no choice!”

”Prepare to die!” Celestial Punishment Daoist suddenly shouted in rage, his Sword Momentum charging forward like a fierce tiger pouncing on its prey, instantly attacking towards Saintly Sea Daoist.

The Lei Tong brothers behind Saintly Sea Daoist weren’t idle either. After one engaged with Lin Kaizhong, the other immediately joined forces with Celestial Punishment Daoist for the attack.

Under the pincer attack, after initially holding his own, Saintly Sea Daoist began to fall behind, completely unable to counterattack and stuck on the defensive.

At this moment, seeing the elders fighting fervently, the young man from Saintly Sea Daoist’s side directly kicked Yun You to the ground, stepping on him and saying, ”Dare you Kunlun Sect come up for a fight?!”

The Kunlun Sect elite disciples exchanged glances and immediately confronted them head-on: ”Don’t blame us for not holding back if you lose!”

Though they were deeply irritated by Yun You and the others, the current conflict was no longer a personal one. The opponent stepping on Yun You was akin to hitting everyone’s face!

Coupled with the opponent’s provocation, the disciples of Kunlun Sect were infuriated and started fighting without hesitation.

As time went on, it was soon sensed by other factions of the Huaxia camp, who brought people to investigate, only to find that both sides were already locked in intense combat, with everyone seeing red.

With so many people suddenly arriving, after a few rounds of fighting, both sides halted their actions unanimously, watching each other with a wary gaze.

Seeing that the crowd was obviously on Saintly Sea Daoist’s side, Celestial Punishment Daoist sighed inwardly, knowing that continuing to fight was definitely not in his favor. He could only hope for a relatively peaceful way to resolve the issue.

However, he also understood that this hope was extremely slim. Regardless of whether Yun You was wronged this time, there was no longer any room for peaceful resolution!

...

After hearing Saintly Sea Daoist’s narration, everyone present repeatedly criticized Celestial Punishment Daoist, making him defend with a flushed face, ”My sect’s disciples just happened to be there; there’s absolutely no way they intentionally spied.”

”Whether they saw anything or not, just speaking of our Kunlun Sect’s Cultivation Technique, since when did we lose to any of you?!”

As Celestial Punishment Daoist’s words left his mouth, he saw everyone’s faces turn extremely ugly, and his heart skipped a beat, realizing something was amiss, though he couldn’t figure out what exactly he said wrong.

He was unaware that Yun You and the others had happened upon an array being jointly practiced by various sects, with several elders present having modified it. Essentially, with an unintended comment, Celestial Punishment Daoist had offended everyone present.

Lin Kaizhong snorted, ”You say you didn’t see, so you didn’t see? Provide evidence, or else you’re just a rogue, deliberately denying!”

Celestial Punishment Daoist took a deep breath, suppressing his anger, knowing that continuing to argue was meaningless. Apart from using the Soul Searching Technique to prove it, everything else would just be each side sticking to their story.

Celestial Punishment Daoist claimed Yun You didn’t see anything, asking the other side to provide evidence of what he saw; the opponent could similarly argue for evidence of him not seeing it. This topic was essentially a paradox.

Furthermore, what made Celestial Punishment Daoist suppress his anger and avoid entangling too much over this issue was the realization that if things spiraled out of control, Yun You might forcibly undergo the Soul Searching Technique.

At that point, whether Yun You was innocent or not, at the very least, becoming an idiot would be inevitable!

Just as Celestial Punishment Daoist considered forfeiting his dignity and thinking of a way to break this stalemate, Yun You spoke up in anger, and his precious son’s words caused his vision to momentarily go black.

”So what if I did see it?” Yun You said with a fierce look, lying on the cold snow: ”What’s there to even reference in your half-baked skills?”

He continued: ”I really don’t know what you’re all worried about. Do you practice Cultivation Techniques just for your own amusement? Aren’t they still completely visible when used in practice?!”

”Slap!”

A crisp slap echoed, and Yun You was instantly knocked unconscious, even his dentures fell halfway, causing his face to swell visibly once again.

Beside him, Celestial Punishment Daoist slowly stood up, his eyes already devoid of any light, ashen as if devoid of life.

There was no point in regretting not educating Yun You properly, indulging him too much so that he lacked even basic common sense. The consequences of his words now had to be borne by him.

Celestial Punishment Daoist knew that even if this matter was brought to Senior Brother Daoist Tianxing, his outcome wouldn’t be any better — without a reversal, his fate was doomed.
