Chapter 479: Chapter 479: Hit First, Talk Later_1

Upon hearing Yè Tiānmíng’s words, Yè Yùwǎn was taken aback and asked in surprise, ”What do you mean by that?”

”What do I mean? You don’t know? The nephew of the Martial Alliance Branch head in Dingjing who is seeking a marriage proposal is after you!” A mocking smile flashed across Yè Tiānmíng’s eyes.

”What?” Yè Yùwǎn exclaimed, turning her head to look at Ye Jianzhong for confirmation, ”Uncle, the person he wants to propose to is me?”

”Yes, it is you! And I’ve already agreed! They’ll be here any minute! Get to know each other and be married as soon as possible.”

Ye Jianzhong nodded, speaking solemnly, ”Yu Wan, Tiānmíng is right. It is your honor to sacrifice for the family, and the man’s status is so noble it can be considered a blessing for you. We are considering your best interests; you should be grateful.”

”Grateful? Ha, what a joke,” Yè Yùwǎn couldn’t help but laugh, ”Marry him if you want, but I won’t!”

Having said that, she turned and headed towards the conference room door.

”Where do you think you’re going?” Yè Tiānmíng grabbed Yè Yùwǎn and pulled her back, standing in front of the door and sneered, ”Yè Yùwǎn, Mister Qiú’s son will be here soon, where do you think you’re going? Are you trying to disgrace our Yè Family?”

”You...” Yè Yùwǎn was fuming and reached into her pocket to press the dial button. Her phone automatically called the last contact.

”What, are you going to find that bastard Jiang Chen again?” Yè Tiānmíng’s eyes narrowed as he stared straight into Yè Yùwǎn’s eyes, a mocking expression on his face.

Yè Yùwǎn shouted back angrily, ”Jiang Chen is not a bastard; he’s the man I like!”

”What?”

”Yè Yùwǎn, have you no shame?”

”Scoundrel!”

The members of the Yè Family, upon hearing Yè Yùwǎn’s words, all cursed loudly.

Slap!

Ye Jianzhong, full of fury, slapped Yè Yùwǎn hard across the face and berated her while pointing at her nose, ”You shameless woman! That man is already married, and he’s the son-in-law our Yè Family rejected. How dare you confront your elders just for him? Are you looking to become the other woman? If it weren’t for the young master from the Martial Alliance interested in you, I would tie you up and throw you into the sea to save our family from shame.”

After cursing Yè Yùwǎn, Ye Jianzhong waved his hand and shouted, ”Someone tie her up! When the young master from the Martial Alliance arrives, hand her over to them—she ought to contribute something to our Yè Family!”

”Yes!” A few young members of the Yè Family responded, taking out the ropes they had prepared beforehand and moved towards Yè Yùwǎn.

”Ha ha... Yè Yùwǎn, weren’t you acting as you pleased because of Jiang Chen? Now, let’s see how proud you are,” Yè Tiānmíng laughed heartily and stepped forward to grab Yè Yùwǎn’s arm, helping to tie her up.

Yè Yùwǎn’s face was filled with despair as she struggled frantically, but how could she, a girl, possibly get free from the grip of three or four men?

Snap!

With a crisp sound due to her struggling, Yè Yùwǎn’s phone fell to the ground.

”Hmm?” Yè Tiānmíng looked down and saw that the phone was still in a call. He bent over, picked up the phone, and looked at it, his heart skipped a beat and he exclaimed, ”Jiang Chen!”

The faces of the Yè Family members changed as they all turned to look at the phone in Yè Tiānmíng’s hand.

”I don’t care whether you are Yè Family members or related to Jing Yi and Yu Wan by blood—if you goddamn dare hurt a hair on Yu Wan’s head, I, Jiang Chen, swear, I will annihilate your entire Yè Family lineage! Boom boom...” Jiang Chen’s roar could be heard from the receiver, followed by a series of explosive sounds.

Yè Tiānmíng shuddered, and quickly hung up the phone, turning to look at Ye Jianzhong, ”Uncle, Jiang Chen knows about this, what do you think...”

”Why panic!”

Ye Jianzhong glared at Yè Tiānmíng and then chuckled coldly, ”So what if he knows? The people from the Martial Alliance will be here soon. Is he a match for the nephew of the head of the Martial Alliance Branch in Dingjing? That’s a man almost at the level of an Earth Level Martial Artist! If Jiang Chen dares to come, let him be killed. With Yè Yùwǎn in the equation, we might even get a share of Yi Chen Company haha...”

Yè Tiānmíng was overjoyed, he dialed back using Yè Yùwǎn’s phone.

”Ha ha! Jiang Chen, come on over. This is Yè Tiānmíng. I’m waiting for you at home, in the conference room, don’t go to the wrong place!”

”I’m telling you, today we’re going to hand over Yè Yùwǎn to the folks from the Martial Alliance, if you don’t hurry, you won’t see her again!”

Yè Tiānmíng taunted Jiang Chen excessively and after finishing, he hung up the phone and laughed looking upwards, ”Ha ha... Jiang Chen, come on, your death is certain now!”

Boom—

A deafening roar erupted, and Yè Tiānmíng’s laughter came to an abrupt halt.

The Ye Family members all turned to look outside the window, where a powerful and imposing Knight XV had crashed through the Ye Family’s surrounding wall and charged into the courtyard.

”Jiang Chen, save me!” Yè Yùwǎn’s eyes lit up, and she shouted loudly.

The faces of the Ye Family changed, the Martial Alliance hadn’t arrived yet, how did this bastard get here first?

Crack!

After Jiang Chen got out of the car and saw Yè Yùwǎn tied up through the window, a surge of anger flooded his heart, and he leaped forward, smashing through the window and rushing into the conference room.

”Yè Tiānmíng, you’re courting death!” With a roar, Jiang Chen reached Yè Tiānmíng’s side, pulled Yè Yùwǎn away, and kicked vigorously at Yè Tiānmíng’s stomach.

Bang!

Spurt!

Yè Tiānmíng was sent flying backward, slamming hard against the wall, spewing a mouthful of blood, and collapsed to the ground, eyes rolled back, with a sunken chest.

The Ye Family members were shocked silly, everyone took a few steps back, keeping their distance from Jiang Chen!

Hiss!

Jiang Chen tore off the ropes binding Yè Yùwǎn with his bare hands and asked with concern, ”Yu Wan, are you alright?”

Yè Yùwǎn felt a warmth in her heart, shook her head with a smile and said, ”I’m fine!”

Jiang Chen looked Yè Yùwǎn up and down, and seeing she was indeed uninjured, he sighed in relief, then turned to sweep a glance at the members of the Ye Family, stepped forward, and viciously kicked the leg of Yè Tiānmíng, who was sprawled on the ground.

Crack!

”Ah!”

As the sound of breaking bones echoed, Yè Tiānmíng screamed in agony and passed out.

”Tiānmíng!” Ye Jianchang called out, but he dared not step forward to intervene.

Bang!

Crack!

”Ah!”

Crack!

”Ow!”

With three consecutive kicks, Jiang Chen broke all of Yè Tiānmíng’s limbs. Tiānmíng woke up from the pain twice and after the last time, he passed out again.

”Stop!” Ye Jianzhong, his face ashen with rage, shouted out.

Jiang Chen turned his head to look at Ye Jianzhong, staring at him emotionlessly.

Seeing all the Ye Family looking at him for support, Ye Jianzhong suddenly felt emboldened. He straightened up, attempting to demonstrate the grandeur of the Family Head, and stepped toward Jiang Chen.

Looking at Jiang Chen and Yè Yùwǎn, Ye Jianzhong shouted, ”Jiang Chen, this is the Ye Family’s home, not a place for you to run wild! You are a married man, yet you dare to dally with Yè Yùwǎn. You are utterly shameless. Let me tell you, the young master from the Martial Alliance will be here soon, and you’re as good as dead!”

”Yes, you’re as good as dead!”

”That’s right, if you’ve got the guts, don’t run away. When the young master from the Martial Alliance arrives, you’re done for!”

”You’re waiting to die, bastard, daring to cause trouble in our Ye Family’s home. Our Ye Family is about to become the Martial Alliance’s in-laws!”

With the thought of the Martial Alliance’s people arriving soon, one after another, the Ye Family members gathered the courage to surround Jiang Chen, berating him loudly.

”I’m shameless? You’re the fucking shameless one!” Jiang Chen shouted angrily and gave Ye Jianzhong a vicious slap across the face.
