Medic Martial Dragon King

Jinhai’s First Hospital, also an intensive care unit.

Ye Jingyi lay still on the hospital bed while Zhang Long stood to one side with his brothers, and Li Jiangming stood tremblingly on the other, glancing at Zhang Long from time to time.

Just then, there was a clamor of footsteps, and Zhou Ru and others hurried to the ward.

”What happened here? How did Jing Yi get hurt? Wasn’t she supposed to go with you to find Young Master Yu?” Zhou Ru frowned and glared at Li Jiangming.

Seeing Zhou Ru and the others, Li Jiangming grew bolder, knowing that Zhang Long wouldn’t do anything to them, and suddenly, with a twist of his eyes, he pointed at Ye Jingyi and said, ”This is all Jiang Chen’s fault. Jing Yi was trying to save Yu Wan and went to catch Jiang Chen, but he actually pushed Jing Yi and made her hit a table, and he also injured me and left Young Master Yu disabled. Now Young Master Yu is still unconscious! You Ye family are now completely done for!”

”What? Jiang Chen left Young Master Yu disabled?!” The faces of Zhou Ru and the others changed drastically, and Zhou Ru cursed vehemently, ”Jiang Chen, that bastard, is going to destroy our family!”

Ye Yanni blurted out, ”Jiang Chen even hit Jing Yi, he’s simply a beast, an ungrateful white-eyed wolf!”

”That bastard, why doesn’t he just die! He’s nothing but trouble for our family, and now he has even put Jing Yi in the hospital, he deserves to be shot!” Ye Jianxiong said through gritted teeth.

”Everyone shut up!” Zhang Long shouted angrily, glaring fiercely at Li Jiangming: ”Stop spouting nonsense here, it was you who lured Miss Ye to the Sun’s, wanting to harm her, and now you have the audacity to play the victim, believe it or not, I’ll end you!”

Li Jiangming’s face changed, and he quickly hid behind Zhou Ru.

Zhou Ru and the others glanced at Zhang Long, their eyes betraying disbelief.

”You’re in cahoots with Jiang Chen, of course, you’d speak for him!” Ye Yanni gave Zhang Long a mocking look as she spoke.

However, none of the Ye family dared to say anything too offensive, as Zhang Long’s status still caused them considerable apprehension!

At that moment, a rush of urgent footsteps sounded again, and Zhou Ru and the others turned to look, as Dark Wolf and a group of men in black suits stormed into the ward.

”It’s her, Ye Jingyi, and these few, her family members, take them all away!” As soon as he entered the ward, Dark Wolf pointed at Ye Jingyi and shouted.

”What are you doing?”

”Who are you?”

Zhou Ru and the others asked in a panic.

”Don’t you dare harm Miss Ye!” Zhang Long shouted, rushing to the bedside, staring down a group of men in black suits.

Dark Wolf looked at Zhang Long and said coldly, ”Zhang Long, dare to meddle in the Sun family’s affairs, and I see you don’t want to continue in our circles!”

”The Sun family? Why would the Sun family want to capture us? It’s got nothing to do with us! It’s all that good-for-nothing Jiang Chen’s fault, take him!”

”Exactly, exactly, Jing Yi has already divorced Jiang Chen, the divorce papers are signed, Young Master Yu’s incident really has nothing to do with us!”

Zhou Ru and the others quickly said.

”I don’t care, it’s the old master’s order, take them all away!” Dark Wolf said coldly.

A group of men in black suits stepped forward and seized Zhou Ru and the others.

”Big brother, big brother, I’m not involved! I’m Young Master Yu’s friend!” Li Jiangming said urgently.

Dark Wolf gave Li Jiangming a cold look and said chillingly, ”If it weren’t for you, Young Master Yu wouldn’t have been injured.”

Bang!

Dark Wolf kicked Li Jiangming violently to the ground and waved, ”Take him away!”

Two men in black suits stepped forward and grabbed Li Jiangming.

”Don’t you dare harm Miss Ye.” Zhang Long did not intervene with Zhou Ru and the others, but when the men in black suits moved to take the unconscious Ye Jingyi from the hospital bed as well, he suddenly shouted and charged at them.

Bang bang bang!

After a struggle, Zhang Long and his comrades were outnumbered and were beaten to the ground by Dark Wolf and his men, and the unconscious Ye Jingyi on the hospital bed was carried away by Dark Wolf and the others.

Meanwhile, after Jiang Chen had been taken to the police station, because of the gravity of the situation and the police officers witnessing Jiang Chen crippling someone, they threw Jiang Chen straight into detention.

In the detention area, Jiang Chen was constantly worried about Ye Jingyi’s injuries.

The night quietly approached, and just as Jiang Chen was preparing to sleep, the door of his room suddenly burst open.

Afterward, a group of burly strong men rushed into the room and quickly locked the door behind them.

Jiang Chen’s eyes narrowed, and he coldly watched the intruders, ”What are you doing?”

”What are we doing? We’re here to take your life!” a muscular man coldly spoke as the group charged towards Jiang Chen.

A flash of cold light appeared in Jiang Chen’s eyes, and with a push off from the bed, he leapt directly toward the group of strong men.

Bang bang bang!

”Ah!”

A series of muffled thuds and screams echoed as all the strong men were floored by Jiang Chen.

Bang!

Jiang Chen kicked the lead strong man in the stomach and promptly stepped on his neck, ”Speak, who sent you?”

”And what if I tell you? It was the Sun Family Head!” the strong man shouted arrogantly, ”You messed with Young Master Yu, you’re a dead man! Your wife, her entire family, they’re all goners! They’ve already been captured by the Sun Family Head, you’re all dead!”

In an instant, Jiang Chen’s eyes turned blood red as he coldly regarded the strong man, ”Where have they been taken?”

”Haha...” The strong man laughed loudly, ”What’s it to you? They’re at the Xiangrui Night Club, what can you do? Can you even go save them now?”

Jiang Chen gave the strong man a cold glance, turned to the window, and grabbed the iron bars. With a loud shout, ”Open for me!”

A faint blood light flickered, and to the incredulous stares of the strong men, Jiang Chen forcefully bent the bars open.

”You, you... How is this possible? Are you even human?” the strong man watched Jiang Chen in shock, his words tumbling out confusedly.

Jiang Chen glanced at the strong man expressionlessly, then methodically knocked them all out. Climbing onto the windowsill, he squeezed through the window and out.

After escaping the prison, Jiang Chen used a payphone to call Zhang Long.

”Hello? Who the hell are you? What do you want?” As soon as the call connected, a cranky voice came from Zhang Long on the other end.

Jiang Chen spoke softly, ”It’s Jiang Chen.”

”Mr. Jiang?!” Zhang Long’s voice came through the receiver, filled with shock.

”It’s me,” Jiang Chen responded with a grave voice, ”How is Jingyi’s injury?”

”Jiang Chen, Miss Ye’s injury has been treated, and there’s no longer a danger to her life, but she’s still in a coma. The doctors say... Miss Ye might become a vegetative person! Moreover... the Sun Family has taken Miss Ye away!”

”What? They took Jing Yi even in her comatose state?!”

Jiang Chen exclaimed, his eyes suddenly blazing with a chilling, bloody light. He coldly said, ”I’m at a small supermarket behind the detention area... Come over immediately with your men. They’re at the Xiangrui Night Club, and we’re heading there now.”

”Yes!” Zhang Long responded respectfully.

After hanging up, Jiang Chen murmured coldly to himself, ”Sun Family, you’re courting death!”

A dozen vehicles sped over and stopped in front of the supermarket behind the detention area, with Zhang Long leading the men out of the cars.

Upon seeing Zhang Long, Jiang Chen walked out of the supermarket.

”Mr. Jiang, I’m sorry, I failed to protect Miss Ye,” Zhang Long said apologetically to Jiang Chen.

Jiang Chen glanced at the injuries on Zhang Long’s face and patted his shoulder, ”It’s not your fault, let’s go!”

The men got into the cars and sped off towards the Xiangrui Night Club.
