Venerated Venomous Consort

Gu Xijiu suddenly understood what had happened.

Her body had been stolen!

The demon hit her soul away when she was in turmoil over Di Hao and then took the opportunity to seize her body.

Nevertheless, since Gu Xijiu was a Great Deity, she could condense her soul into another solid body. When she was about to pinch a spell, the demon flicked her finger and a big hole suddenly appearing beside Gu Xijiu. This big hole had a strong suction force and sucked Gu Xijiu’s soul into it.

Everything was a blur to Gu Xijiu for a moment, but when things cleared up, she found herself in a transparent cell.

The reason why she called it a transparent cell was that she could see everything in the desert from this cell. She seemed to have been separated from the desert by just a transparent film. She even found that she could also hear the demon speaking.

The demon was feeling smug. “It seems he could actually tell that it was my avatar. But now that I have occupied your shell, I doubt he would be able to distinguish us. Even if he did, he would not use a knife on me! Xijiu, I did not like your useless body. However, I will occupy it for Fuyi. I will use your body and live happily ever after with him.”

Gu Xijiu cursed at her, “You are such a pervert!”

Her inner demon smirked. “Am I? I have more unusual things to show you! This water prison was designed by me, especially for you. You will experience a mixture of water and fire in it. You have trapped me in this desert for 100,000 years, so I want to trap you in this water prison for millions of years!”

While she talked, there was some black water present in the cell.

This black water emerged from the bottom of her feet and quickly passed her leg to her waist.

This black water was obviously different from any kind of water that Gu Xijiu had seen. What she quickly realized was that nothing could float in it. She could only watch the black water flowed past her chest to her neck and then reached her chin. It did not take long before her entire body was submerged in it.

By right, if Gu Xijiu was in her soul form, she did not need to breathe and should not be afraid of the water.

However, after she was submerged in it, it felt like she was sitting in a pot of boiling water. It did not feel like a normal burning fire, but she could definitely feel as though she was being burnt!

Gu Xijiu also realized that she had a need to breathe, but she could not. It did not take long before her vision started to turn black.

But just when she felt like she was going to faint, the black water retreated, and her head was just above the water.

The water was really black, so there was nothing that she could see when the water had reached the top of her head. With the water level falling, she could finally see what was happening, and her heart sank at once.

She noticed that she was now watching a scene in the Gobi Desert. The Gobi Desert was full of large and small black stones that distinguished it from any other desert.

At the moment, three people were standing in the Gobi Desert.

Di Fuyi, Di Hao, and ‘Gu Xijiu’.

When the illusion of peach blossom garden collapsed, Di Fuyi fell from the inside and landed in the Gobi Desert.

The moment he landed in the desert, he seemed to sense something and quickly turned to see what appeared to be a mother and her son not too far away.

‘Gu Xijiu’ seemed to be seriously injured. Her face was pale, and there was blood on her lips. Nevertheless, she refused to treat her own wounds and was busy treating Di Hao instead.

Di Hao’s chest was stained red with blood. Apparently, he was seriously injured too. His eyes were closed, and he seemed to be in a drowsy state.

‘Gu Xijiu’ seemed to hear some movements in the desert and drew a sword out in her hand. “Who…”

When her eyes saw the person in the distance, she paused and stood still. She looked at the man in disbelief. “Fu… Fuyi?” Her voice trembled slightly.
