Venerated Venomous Consort

Chapter 2362: The So-Called Life-Saving Grace (5)

Di Fuyi’s body was certainly heavier than Gu Xijiu’s, so, there was a loud creaking sound when he was placed on the bamboo bed. She was somewhat surprised that he fainted right after being struck by lightning.

She looked down at the motionless man and saw that his eyes and lips were tightly closed. Based on his facial features, it seemed that he had been miserable these days. Why was he really not happy?

Although he had fainted, she could open his mouth a little to feed him water and medicine. Gu Xijiu had checked on his pulse, as well. Although two lightning bolts had struck him, it was not fatal. The reason why he passed out was probably that he was in a state of shock. He would be alright after he wakes up and takes some medicine.

“Di Fuyi…” She called for him softly. The simple act of doing so seemed to bring tears to her eyes. She quickly turned away as she was afraid that she would feel it again. However, just when she was about to get up, her neck was grabbed by his arm when she was unprepared. Gu Xijiu fell into his embrace! The familiar scent that had always accelerated her heart rate was now in her nostrils. Her heart pounded as she was trying to get off the bamboo bed. Nonetheless, she realized that he was hugging her.

She could not move for a moment, so she looked up at him. At the same time, he was looking down at her. It was a coincidence that her lips were rubbing his chin and, eventually, his lips. Gu Xijiu was stunned by that act and quickly raised her head.

Finally, she quickly moved more than a foot away from him. However, that was only the distance between their faces, and her body was still touching Di Fuyi’s. Their gazes met, and they continued to stare at one another.

“Are you awake?” Gu Xijiu was panicked and quickly asked a question.

Di Fuyi smirked. Although he just woke up, he was in a good mood. “Yes.”

He did not talk much, but his eyes were focused on Gu Xijiu. Gu Xijiu’s scalp was getting numb. She wanted to get out of bed, so she turned over. However, his arm was still on her waist. She was not able to get rid of him. Instead, she found that their bodies were now more tightly connected.

His body was a bit hot, so when Gu Xijiu lay on him, she felt like she was on a human stove. It made her face turned red, and she did not like being in uncomfortable positions. She did not want to push him too hard, so as not to cause him further injuries, so she slightly struggled and yelled, “Let me go!”

Meanwhile, Di Fuyi’s eyes seemed to be filled with tears too. It had been a long time since he hugged her! He was certainly very eager to be close to her. Since they shared an intimate night, he had always longed for her.

When he hugged her this time, the intimate experience flashed through his mind, and the blood in his body flowed quickly and concentrated at a place that had just been awakened. His eyes seemed to reveal his true thoughts. He called her softly, “Xijiu…”

All of a sudden, he flipped himself over and was now on top of her. This posture… Gu Xijiu raised her hand and wanted to push him away, but he had already started to kiss her. Gu Xijiu’s mind went blank, and before she could react, her lips had been pried open, and his tongue had gone straight into her mouth.

“Hey, you…” She wanted to say something, but before she could, her mouth was covered entirely by his! He seemed to be kissing her very passionately, so much so that the night pearl that she used to illuminate the cave fell to the ground and rolled into the distance.
