My Youth Began With Him

For the 24 years, she had been alive, Huo Mian had never seen an ocean as beautiful and unrealistic as this.

The water was so clear that she could see to its bottom; fish swam in the shallow waters, not at all afraid of human beings.

The sky was dazzling blue as if a painter had accidentally knocked over his palette…

Clouds floated on the sky like fluffy cotton candy…

This scene was hard to imagine unless one were to see it for themselves.

Even during sunset, everything was unequivocally mesmerizing.

The photography team and bodyguards behind them all took out their phones to take photos of this scenery.

Zhixin did so as well; after taking what seemed like a million photos, he shouted at Huo Mian, “Sis, don’t move, I’m going to take a photo of you!”

Huo Mian turned around and gave him a faint smile…

Zhixin took the photo; he looked at it and thought his sister looked absolutely stunning…

“President Qin, everyone’s probably tired from traveling, after resting for a while in their rooms, we’ll be ready for dinner,” the female assistant said.

Qin Chu nodded. Then, he held Huo Mian’s hand and led her into the most luxurious ocean villa.

A heart-shape made of rose petals sat on the bed, with swan-shaped towels in the middle.

Teardrop-shaped vases were placed on the tables, with golden-rayed lilies in them.

All in all, this place was filled with romance and surprises.

“Do you like it here?” Qin Chu asked Huo Mian as he held her in his arms.

“Seriously… now that I’ve seen this place, I realized that the ocean by C City isn’t an ocean; at most, it’s a dirty lake.”

Qin Chu couldn’t help but laugh at Huo Mian’s ridicule…

“You must be tired. Go take a shower and we’ll get some rest.”

“Okay.”

Huo Mian nodded. Then, she turned to go into the bathroom and enjoyed a warm bath.

The bathwater was automatically infused with rose essence; talk about perfect service.

Huo Mian was shy as she walked out in her robe…

This was because after she showered, and they were alone, they would always… do stuff.

Huo Mian thought that Mr. Qin wouldn’t be able to control himself and immediately push her onto the bed…

However, she was dumbfounded when she stepped out of the bathroom…

Mr. Qin must’ve been exhausted; he changed into beach shorts and a white tee and fell asleep on the bed.

His breathing was gentle, and his eyelashes were pretty.

Huo Mian loved watching Qin Chu sleep because he slept ever so quietly, and she could enjoy his stunning looks.

The more she looked at him, the faster her heart beat…

On their way here, Huo Mian and Zhixin drank, ate, and slept. Qin Chu, on the other hand, wasn’t as relaxed.

He worked the entire journey; after he got off the plane, he sent the documents back to GK Headquarters.

Now, he finally had the chance to grab a quick nap…

Huo Mian carefully took out a flower-patterned blanket from one of the cabinets and gently placed it on Qin Chu.

She wasn’t sleepy, so she poured herself an iced cola and sat outside on the steps.

The villa was made of wood and floated on the water. Therefore, Huo Mian’s feet touched the water as she sat down on the steps.

Her pearly feet immersed into warm seawater as she enjoyed this unprecedented peacefulness.

Qin Chu had reserved the entire island so aside from hotel employees, there were no tourists to be seen.

She glanced at the blue skies and white clouds as she listened to the sounds of seagulls. Huo Mian genuinely felt like she was at ease.

Although she wanted to remain low-key, she couldn’t help but take a photo and upload it onto WeChat friend circle.

Instead of uploading a selfie, she took a photo of the ocean scenery and uploaded it.

She wrote, “I hope that my heart can be as peaceful as the ocean.”

The location feature automatically showed that she was on Paradise Island of the Maldives.

Her friend circle blew up immediately…

“AHHHH… you’re a crappy friend, I can’t believe you went to the Maldives without telling me.” Exhausted, Zhu Lingling had just gotten off a flight. She was going to take a shower and crash but saw Huo Mian’s hate-attracting photo.

“I didn’t know I was coming until I got to the airport. Mr. Qin arranged everything/” Huo Mian smiled as she replied to her.

“Oh my god, I’m filled with envy, jealousy, and hatred… Mr. Qin is amazing, why don’t I have someone like him who would take me there?”

“You can come with Gao Ran.”

“Forget it, he barely gets any time off, it’s unrealistic for him to take me to the Maldives.”

To Huo Mian’s surprise, as soon as Zhu Lingling complained, Gao Ran replied, “If I went with you, can you live stream yourself eating poop?”
