My Youth Began With Him

In the end, the police officers listened to Su Yu.

They used the police car to bring Ning Zhiyuan back.

Su Yu drove his car and followed them to the police station.

When they arrived at the police station, Ning Zhiyuan was immediately locked up in a small room.

Su Yu, on the other hand, was sitting in the captain’s seat, and someone was pouring tea for him.

The treatment was really heavens apart.

“Young Master Su, take your time, we’ll listen to you… There’s no rush, have some tea first.” The captain smiled politely at Su Yu.

Su Yu glanced at the teacup.

“I shall not be drinking any tea. It’s too late at night, so I might not be able to sleep.”

“Yes, yes, yes. I didn’t think it through. Let me get you some water.”

“No need, I’m not thirsty. I just want to say a few simple words… I didn’t know this scumbag before. On the way home, I saw him waiting outside my friend’s house with a lewd look on his face. He harassed my friend and even attacked my friend. Out of protection for my friend, I took action. That’s probably everything that happened. If you don’t believe me, you can check the surveillance cameras nearby.”

“No need, no need. Young Master Su is a man of his word. With your status, there’s no need to lie. We will deal with him seriously.”

“One more thing, I heard that he owes my friend 60,000 yuan. I think…”

Su Yu hesitated in continuing.

However, the captain was smart enough to immediately understand what Su Yu meant.

“Leave this to us. It’s getting late. Young Master Su, please go back and rest.”

“Yes.”

Su Yu nodded, stood up, and walked to the door. He turned around and said, “I don’t want to see this person outside my friend’s house again.”

“Young Master Su, don’t worry. We know what to do.”

Su Yu nodded and drove away with a smile.

As soon as Su Yu left, the police captain immediately interrogated Ning Zhiyuan.

It was true that he was waiting outside Huo Mian’s house, harassing her.

It was true that he owed Huo Mian 60,000 yuan.

Su Yu didn’t make all this up.

During the interrogation, Ning Zhiyuan kept saying that Huo Mian was his ex-girlfriend and that they had dated before, so it was not considered harassment.

However, the police didn’t care. Every time the captain heard Su Yu talk to him, he would use the word ‘friend’ to describe this woman.

And he used it three times. It was obvious how important this woman was to Su Yu.

So, he didn’t listen to Ning Zhiyuan’s words at all.

They did not force him to confess or threaten him with violence. They just locked him up.

Before the captain left, he said, “All of us are getting off work. If this guy doesn’t return the money… we’ll release him when 24 hours is up. Then we’ll catch him in a few days.”

Hearing this, Ning Zhiyuan immediately backed down.

Trembling, he called He Man.

He Man drove by to pick him up in the middle of the night. She was so angry that the couple even quarreled at the police station.

In the end, He Man left behind 60,000 yuan in cash.

Later, the captain contacted Su Yu to give him the money.

Su Yu said, “Just call my friend.”

At 10:30 PM.

Tang Chuan and Wei Liao both had left when Su Yu returned.

Only An was still watching TV on the couch.

“Boss, you’re back?”

“Yes.”

“Are you hungry? I’ll prepare some food for you.”

“I’m not hungry, you should go to bed early, I’m going to take a shower and then sleep.” Su Yu seemed to be in a good mood.

Not long after, Su Yu received a WeChat notification.

It was a video call from Huo Mian.

Su Yu picked it up happily…

“Miss Huo, please go ahead.”

“Cut the crap… Su Yu, what happened afterwards?”

“I fought for you and was brought to the police station…” Su Yu said calmly.

“What? You were taken to the police station? Which police station are you at now? I’ll bail you out.” Huo Mian knew that Su Yu was implicated by her.
