My Youth Began With Him

Su Yu turned around and stood in front of the floor-to-ceiling window.

Looking out of the window, he said word by word, “It’s not as simple as liking her. I love her very much.”

An rarely saw his boss being gentle. Su Yu was only gentle to his mother.

But this tone and gentleness was something he had never seen before.

From the looks of it, he didn’t seem to be spouting nonsense.

“Boss, you’ve only known her for a short time, and you’re already talking about love? Isn’t that a little…”

An didn’t have a girlfriend, so he couldn’t understand why his boss would say that he loved the nurse he only knew for a few days.

Many people said that ‘love at first sight’ wasn’t liking a person, but their face.

If you were good-looking and went on a blind date, the other party would have a good impression of you.

However, An thought about it carefully. Miss Huo was not considered that kind of stunning beauty.

She could only be considered delicate and comfortable-looking. She dressed appropriately and had a high EQ.

Over the past few years, Imperial Star Entertainment had been like the sun at high noon. The female artists that joined were all big shots.

Some of them were supported by Su Yu himself.

Zhao Qingya, Jian Tong, Nie Lingxuan, and the girl groups were all young and beautiful.

All of them would beat this nurse in appearances…

But why did the boss…

Even though An had been with Su Yu for many years, he still couldn’t understand why.

Su Yu took a bite of the apple, turned around, and smiled. “Do you believe in deja vu?”

An didn’t seem to understand.

“Although I haven’t known her for long, I have a strong sense of familiarity… I think she must be the woman I loved deeply in my previous life.”

Su Yu’s words were about his past life.

With An’s level of culture, he couldn’t understand it.

Su Yu didn’t tell An too much. If he told him about the parallel universe, he would be even more confused.

Therefore, he directly mentioned the theory of familiarity and his previous life.

An suddenly felt that his boss was different from before.

After waking up from the car accident this time… he felt that he had become much more mature and reliable than before.

What was important was that the moment he opened his mouth, it was all sorts of chicken soup for the soul.

An was puzzled. The CT scan showed that his boss’s brain wasn’t damaged at all.

But why did he feel different from before?

After that breakfast, Su Yu no longer took extra care of Huo Mian.

He knew Mian too well.

If he did too much, it would arouse her suspicion and disgust.

Therefore, he decided to retreat for the sake of advancing. He did not want to push the young girl too hard. If that happened, he would be in trouble.

As expected, Su Yu’s normal behavior these past few days made Huo Mian feel more at ease.

She came to check on Su Yu on time, gave him injections, medicine, and even reminded him to do regular checkups.

Three days passed in the blink of an eye.

That night, Huo Mian was working the night shift.

She came to check on him at eight in the evening.

Su Yu had already laid down early to rest.

“Did you participate in any activities today?”

“Yes, I did. I took a walk in the garden in the morning and at noon… I think my leg is fine now.”

Huo Mian nodded. “It’s not a small matter to have ligament tears, you still have to be careful not to do any strenuous exercise.”

“What do you mean by strenuous exercise?” Su Yu asked on purpose.

Surprisingly, Huo Mian immediately understood what he meant. She cleared her throat and said, “Ahem… I mean running, jumping rope, playing basketball… You can’t do these. It takes 100 days to heal your bones and muscles, so you should take care of yourself.”

“Oh… I guess I misunderstood. I thought I was going to hold it in for a long time,” Su Yu said naturally.

Huo Mian blushed even harder upon hearing Su Yu’s straightforward words.

“Eh? Mian… your face is so red. Did you wear too much make-up?” Su Yu continued to show his harmless concern.
