My Youth Began With Him

Su Yu felt that it was the biggest problem for him to distinguish the four dream creators.

“You can actually find helpers. As long as you can tell that it is your friend who entered the dream and found them, you can get your friend to help you find the dream creator.”

“Mhm, you’re right, I’ll go find Qin Chu and Huo Mian first. But, if my friends are locked up somewhere, how am I supposed to get there? Will it take as much time as the real world?” Su Yu frowned as he pondered.

“That’s not necessary. I can teach you a way to go wherever you want.”

“Teleportation?” Su Yu thought of an incredible skill he played in online games.

“Yes, it can let you do whatever you want.”

“Haha, doesn’t that mean I’m invincible?” Su Yu laughed.

“Don’t be too complacent, kid. No matter how powerful you are, that is still the territory of the dream creators… Once you enter, you will attract their attention. Trust me, they will think of ways to kill you.”

“If I’m accidentally killed, will I be finished?”

“Yes, you will be gone.”

“D*mn! No way! I haven’t rescued my friends yet! I can’t die!”

“So, Su Yu, remember what I’m about to say. This is very, very important.”

Master Wu grabbed Su Yu by the collar and dragged him to the balcony.

“Master, please say it, I will definitely keep it in mind.”

Su Yu didn’t dare to be careless. After all, this was a matter of life and death.

Master Wu pointed at the mountains and rivers outside the window and asked Su Yu, “Look, what are these?”

“Mountains and rivers.”

“Yes, you’ll see exactly the same thing in your dreams. You’ll see everything that exists in the real world… That’s why I’m especially afraid that once you enter the dream, you won’t be able to remember that you’re dreaming. It’s just like how people dream every night. They’re afraid when they dream about ghosts, and when they dream about being bitten by a dog, they’ll feel pain. It’s because no one knows that they’re dreaming. Only when they wake up from their dreams will they know that they were dreaming.”

“That’s true. Go on…” Su Yu nodded and looked at Master Wu with admiration.

“In the dream, you are a weakling. The dream creators are extremely powerful. They even deliberately create monsters and snakes that you have never seen before, or high-tech robots, or all sorts of strange things to attack you. As for you, as long as you keep telling yourself that you are dreaming, those things will naturally not hurt you.”

“F*ck, f*ck, that’s so good… Then I don’t have to be afraid of them at all, hahaha…” Su Yu was overjoyed when he discovered this bug.

“Don’t be happy too soon. Let me finish.”

“Please continue.”

“A person’s consciousness is actually very weak. At crucial moments, many people cannot remember that they are dreaming. If you accept everything that the dream creator forces upon you, you will lose. For example, the dream creator creates a killer to kill you. When the dagger is stabbed into your body, you would feel pain. Then, when you see your body bleeding, you would feel that your blood is drying up… Then you would really be finished. Do you understand?”

“I do. All I have to do is keep telling myself it’s a dream. If they shoot me, and I don’t know pain or don’t believe in them, I’ll be okay.”

“Yes, you have to stay alert at all times. Don’t believe everything that happens in your dream, especially the dream creator’s pursuit of you.” Master Wu patted Su Yu’s shoulder.

“Master, how do I kill the dream creator? Will my friends come back after I kill the four dream creators?” Su Yu asked expectantly.
