Winnie swung her weapon with all her might, and a tornado rushed out to collide with the Water Tornado.

Winnie did not stop her movements. She advanced while waving the blade in her hand.

Wind Blades slashed out one after another.

Fanny noticed Winnie’s additional attacks and immediately shot out a Water Ball to meet them.

At this moment, winning would boil down to both sides understanding of the elements. After all, a Magic Knight belonged to the magic class.

In addition to the level, there was also the understanding of the elements.

That would sum up to one’s proficiency in the skill.

Winnie’s Wind Blade seemed swift and fierce, but in fact, it was not that sharp. More or less, it was not strong enough to overpower her opponent.

Meanwhile, Fanny’s Water Ball was more damaging.

When the Water Ball collided with the Wind Blade, it managed to block the Wind Blade’s attack.

Moreover, the number of Water Balls that Fanny released was much more than Winnie’s Wind Blade.

Winnie had to raise her shield to block as she advanced.

“Block!”

“-321.”

“Block!”

“-311.”

“Block!”

“-310.”

…

With the special characteristics of the Earth Dragon Shield, the rest of the damage was absorbed by the Earth Dragon Shield.

The true damage on Winnie’s HP also decreased.

Of course, the shield could not block the damage every time.

For example, in the previous attacks, due to how quick Winnie moved, the shield was barely able to block the attack. If Winnie did not have the reflexes to move forward, the shield would have not taken the damage.

“There are four more times before it breaks. I have to reach Fanny for the forth time. Otherwise, I would have to tank the damage.”

This was also a lesson that Li Yi had taught her when he was training with Winnie.

After the damage gets absorbed 10 times, the damage could no longer be absorbed. If the damage was absorbed again, the previously absorbed damage would be released. In this way, the ten damage absorbed would be wasted.

If one wanted to rely on the absorbed damage to reflect back on the opponent, they would have to attack the opponent at close range after absorbing the damage ten times.

This was also the reason why Winnie was in a hurry to get close to Fanny.

Although Fanny did not know about this…

However, Fanny, who had the intuition of a player, was very clear that Winnie’s goal was to get close to her.

She did not plan on letting Winnie succeed.

Of course, she was trying to keep as much distance as possible.

With her understanding of the elements, she could easily deal with the poor quality of the elements Winnie shot out.

The best strategy right now was to keep her away.

Fanny attacked while retreating to keep as much distance as possible from Winnie.

Winnie was not discouraged.

She pulled away and Winnie kept trying to get close.

At worst, she would just run head on and take the damage.

Just like that, the two of them kept pushing and pulling at each other.

“Block!”

“-311.”

“Block!”

“-305.”

“Block!”

“-300.”

…

Soon, Winnie’s shield absorbed damage up to ten times.

In order to prevent the shield from absorbing too much damage, Winnie put away the shield.

She kept waving her magic sword and approached Fanny.

This time, she completely resisted Fanny’s attack head on, trying to reduce her HP.

“What are you doing?”

Fanny was shocked. This time, it became more difficult for her to pull away from Winnie.

After all, Winnie’s attacks now completely offset her damage output.

Winnie was getting closer and closer to her.

This was starting to become more dangerous for Fanny.

She did not know what Winnie would do next. Moreover, she did not have any close-combat defensive moves.

The job class of a Magic Knight led them to rely too much on their magic swords, so she neglected to strengthen her own defense.

It was only in the middle of this fight that the other Magic Knight realized this. In the later stages, from what Li Yi remembered, Fanny began to train in both offense and defense. Then, she began to tank and deal damage.

However, in the early stages, because they were all weak, she still relied too much on her own magic moves.

Moreover, magic swords had the advantage of being able to deal damage from afar, so they completely forgot that their job class was actually a close-combat mage.

“This is my first duel, and I represent Carefree Station, so I can’t lose.”

Winnie’s stamina was running out, but she still persisted in moving forward.

Hearing Winnie’s words, Fanny raised her head and looked at Misty World on the rostrum, her eyes filled with tenderness.

“I too have my own expectations to uphold. We are both Magic Knights. Do you think I’m afraid of you?”

It was unknown if Winnie’s words struck a chord in Fanny.

She actually gave up the advantage of being a long-range player and raised her sword and charged forward like Winnie.

Of course, Winnie did not know that Fanny had a trump card as well.

Other than the Water Tornado and the Water Ball, she had something else up her sleeve.

“Water Membrane!”

This was the most highly sought after skill among the water elementals.

It would form a water membrane on the body and increase a certain degree of defense.

This skill was as helpful as the wind that wrapped around Winnie’s Earth Dragon Shield.

However, as a Magic Knight, as long as it was an element, they could have their own unique way of using it.

After all, no matter what elemental skill added in the Elemental skill, there would always be changes.

Fanny’s magic sword was covered with a thin layer of water. It turned the magic sword into a long water whip.

Fanny waved the water whip and approached Winnie. This water whip had a distance limit.

Therefore, she had to get close to Winnie.

However, at this distance, Winnie could also get close to Fanny.

Winnie raised the Earth Dragon Shield again and blocked the water whip’s heavy blow.

“Block 10 times.”

“-555.”

…

After the Earth Dragon Shield blocked this blow, the entire shield glowed with a faint red light and the surface of the shield began to burn a little.

“Haha!”

Winnie let out a soft laugh and immediately jumped up, raising the Earth Dragon Shield and charged toward Fanny.

“Dragon’s Backlash!”

The Earth Dragon Shield spat out thick steam, and the wind wrapped around the shield seemed to have turned on like a switch.

A visible air cannon was shot out.

As the two were too close to each other, the powerful air cannon pushed Winnie back.

“Water Membrane!”

A water-like ball wrapped around Fanny. However, this little bit of defense could not block the air cannon that had been buffed by the wind shield and caused a qualitative change.

This attack had the strength of a wind blade and a backlash effect.

“Ah!”

This attack smashed Fanny into the ground.
