Reborn As Noble

Chapter 1290: A Blessing Beyond Measure ( 1290 )

Francesca smiled and shook her head, glancing at Mylezra who was still gazing at Garius with a dreamy expression.

”Mylezra...”

”Hmm? Yes, Big Sister?” Mylezra turned and looked at Francesca.

”You’re already married to Garius. There’s no need to watch him like a lovesick maiden anymore. He’s not going anywhere.”

Mylezra just smiled and looked back out the window, where Garius and Alf stood in the courtyard, fully engaged in controlling the knights soaring through the sky. She mumbled softly, her voice filled with warmth.

”I waited for him for so long, Big Sister. Decades of longing, of hoping, of dreaming. And now that I’m finally his wife, my love for him hasn’t faded. If anything, it’s only grown deeper. Every moment I spend with him, every time I see him smile, every time I hear his voice... it feels like the first time all over again.”

Francesca shook her head, a fond smile on her lips.

While Garcinia let out a soft chuckle. ”Well... just let her be, Big Sister. It’s not every day we get to see our husband acting like an excited child again. It’s a nice change. Besides, love doesn’t have to fade with time, especially for an elf. Their hearts are timeless.”

Phenelopie smiled and walked toward the long cushion, gracefully taking a seat before a maid served her a cup of fragrant tea. She sipped it gently before saying.

”Love doesn’t age, Big Sister. It only deepens with time. What Mylezra feels is not the fleeting passion of youth, but the enduring warmth of a bond that has been tested by time and distance. It’s a beautiful thing to witness.”

Francesca smiled and took a graceful sip of her hot chocolate before giving Garcinia a teasing side glance.

”Garcinia, dear, you should take good care of yourself during your pregnancy. After all, Aelius and Athine are already married and expecting their own child. It would be wonderful if they had a little brother or sister to welcome into the family, don’t you think?”

Garcinia turned her head sharply, her cheeks flushing a deep red as she mumbled softly. ”I... I didn’t plan it... it just happened...”

Phenelopie let out a soft laugh, covering her lips with her hand.

Francesca smiled again, turning her gaze toward Phenelopie. ”So, Phenelopie, when will it be your turn? I believe Macia is already seven, and Eridith’s daughter, Vivica, is already six.” She glanced at Eridith, who was still enjoying her slab of roasted meat. ”And you, Eridith? When should I expect another little one to add to our family?”

Eridith choked, coughing hard as she reached for her drink and downed it in one gulp.

”Eeee~ I nearly died from that question!” she gasped, slamming the cup down. ”What’s with the sudden interrogation?!”

”Ara~?” Francesca gave Eridith a sweet, terrifying smile. ”Are you raising your voice at me, Eridith?”

”Ah...” Eridith grinned sheepishly, shrinking back in her seat as she glanced down at her plate. ”Ehehe... I... I’m not...”

Francesca glanced at all her co-wives, including Mylezra, her expression softening.

”You all already know that our husband lost his entire family when he was still a child. He was alone for so long. Now, he has a family he cherishes more than anything. He loves having children, and he never minds welcoming more into our home. He sees each one as a blessing, a piece of the family he always dreamed of.”

Phenelopie smiled and nodded. ”I know. I’ve been waiting for him to give me another child. I want to share that joy with him too.”

Eridith’s cheeks flushed red as she glanced away, mumbling softly. ”I... I don’t mind either. If our husband wants more, I’m happy to give him more.”

Mylezra smiled, her eyes shining with hope. ”I wonder when it will be my turn to bear his child, our first child.”

Francesca glanced at her before smiling softly. ”Don’t worry. I believe you will have your chance soon. Our husband’s love is boundless, and he will cherish every child you give him.”

Garcinia let out a soft chuckle, her hand resting gently on her stomach. ”What about you, Big Sister? I believe your youngest son is already seventeen now.”

Francesca glanced up and leaned back against the cushion, her gaze turning distant. She let out a soft, wistful sigh.

”My branches have already borne their fruit. Three strong sons, each a blessing beyond measure. The garden is fertile, but my season has passed. The blessings I received were enough, and now my role is to watch over the family he has built. I am content with that.”

Francesca glanced at all her co-wives and noticed they had fallen silent, their expressions thoughtful.

She smirked and gave them all a sly, teasing look before speaking. ”But don’t think I’m done just because I can’t bear more children. I still enjoy the process, you know. Every moment, every touch, every night with our husband is still as precious to me~”

Every one of the wives’ cheeks turned a faint shade of pink, a shared understanding passing between them. They all knew exactly how... dedicated and vigorous Garius could be in that regard, despite his busy schedule.

”Anyway...” Francesca clapped her hands lightly and tilted her head, her excitement returning. ”Don’t forget, our husband is still expecting two more girls he promised to take as his wives. I’m sure you all already know, right? Especially you two~” She gave a teasing side glance at Eridith and Mylezra.

Eridith huffed, stabbing a piece of meat with her fork before taking a defiant bite. ”Hmmph! I know. That demon girl. She’ll be arriving this week, right?”

Mylezra smiled, her eyes twinkling with amusement. ”Ah~ I wonder how she’ll react when she finds out that our husband married Eridith first, had a daughter with her, and then married me, all before her. I imagine she’ll have quite a few things to say.”

Garcinia and Phenelopie exchanged soft smiles.

”Mm... we all know about the promise,” Garcinia said, her hand resting on her stomach. ”Big Sister told us. We don’t mind. Besides, I’m the second wife~”

Phenelopie chuckled, sipping her tea. ”I’m the third wife, so I don’t have to worry about it. Besides, we all know our husband is... more than capable of handling all of us.”

Eridith huffed, continuing to munch on her meal.

”Ugh! I’m sure there will be chaos when she arrives and learns about it. She’ll be furious and full of rage. I hate how she’s always so reserved and silent, but then suddenly explodes like a volcano. It’s annoying!”

”Well...” Francesca said with a smile, her voice calm. ”She may be quiet and have a low voice, but her temper is legendary. It’s better to be prepared.”

Mylezra smiled, her expression thoughtful. ”Looks like it will be troublesome soon. Best if we bring her to the training ground so she can vent her frustrations there instead of causing trouble in the estate. That way, she won’t break anything important... or hurt anyone.”

Francesca let out a soft laugh and glanced at Eridith and Mylezra. ”Looks like you two are going to be busy handling her~ soon~”
