Imperial God Emperor

Chapter 692, Take sides

It did not occur to anyone that the young leader of the cavalry would really attack.

Ye Qingyu instantly sensed the terrifying power of the Suanni subspecies. The divine fire that it spewed out contained the power of annihilation. Even a Heaven Ascension expert would most likely be unable to withstand this flame. It was clear that this was not just a warning from the young leader, but his killing intent had been ignited from the beginning.

On the other side.

Old man Yan Wushuang and skinny old man Shuang Wuyan also did not have the slightest intention to interfere when they saw this scene.

Ye Qingyu’s eyes grew cold.

A wisp of invisible ice intent began to move.

The ball of divine fire a meter away from Ye Qingyu came into contact with the force of the ice. As though it had struck something, after a while, it was annihilated, disappearing without a trace.

“En?”

The young leader had an abrupt change of expression, staring fixedly at Ye Qingyu.

Ye Qingyu did not look at him at all. He instead turned his head to face the two envoy elders standing to one side.

The skinny old man Shuang Wuyan was expressionless.

The fat old man Yan Wushuang dabbed at the beads of sweat across his face, grinning, “Don’t look at us. This kind of matter, you need to deal with yourself. Although our responsibility is to protect you, in fact, we just need to ensure that your group of people is alive. One or two deaths is nothing... Of course, the main thing is that we simply cannot anger the people of the Violet Gold divine residence.”

The expressions of Wen Wan, Ximen Yeshu, and the others immediately darkened when they heard this.

It was only at this time that they really realized that these two so-called envoy elders were, in fact, two weirdos, and also not very reliable.

Ye Qingyu didn’t say anything.

He found it a little strange.

These Violet Gold guards had arrived so abruptly, and appeared to show such a strong hostility, as though they came specifically for the Heaven Wasteland diplomatic corps. The problem was that it was their first time in the ruins domain, and they had never been to Sunrise City before; they should not have angered anyone.

Opposite.

“How dare you stop me?”

High on the back of the Suanni, the young leader, clad in battle armour, was fierce and arrogant. His slender eyes were narrowed, a frightening blade-like light swimming inside. He was like a python staring at his prey, emitting a dangerous aura all over.

“Our people, though he stood up to you, but you were at fault first. He did not deserve to die, but you tried to kill him. Is that not a little too far?” Ye Qingyu was neither overbearing nor servile.

The Heaven Wasteland diplomatic corps came to the Chaos Ruins Domain to strive for the independence of Heaven Wasteland Domain, and of course, to becoming enemies. This was certainly true, but if someone was deliberately aggressive and making things difficult, there was no need to endure humiliation. After all, blind forbearance would never win real respect for Heaven Wasteland Domain.

“At fault first?” The young leader snorted. “You dare to reason with me? Who are you?”

Hahaha!

Behind him, all the Violet Gold armoured cavalry as though they had heard something ridiculous, were roaring with laughter. It was filled with mockery and contempt.

And in the midst of this laughter, there was a hint of ridicule flashing in the young leader’s eyes.

He gently stepped on the Suanni with his toes.

“Roar——!”

The Suanni subspecies roared, soared into the air, and charged down toward Ye Qingyu’s face.

The tremendous beast carried flames that set the air ablaze. It aimed not only to kill, but to kill by stepping on their faces.

Ye Qingyu’s eyes finally flashed in anger.

Before the others could react, a white-robed figure flashed, and one of the feet of the Suanni beast subspecies was already firmly held in Ye Qingyu’s hand. With a gentle swing of his arm, the almost six-meter-tall beast, like a fluttering straw, was instantly flung up and tossed away like a sandbag.

The Suanni beast growled in horror and fear.

But under that tremendous power, it had no control over its own body.

“Roar!” Its mountain-like body was hurled dozens of meters away, slammed into the city wall of Sunrise City, making a whine. It produced a painful groan as it was pinned to the golden wall, before sliding slowly down and falling motionless in the corner.

It had lost consciousness.

The young leader was in an even more embarrassing situation.

Caught off guard, he was flung off the back of the Suanni beast, almost catapulted with the battle beast.

“Ah... how dare you! Lower domain bastard, you have a death wish!” With a bellow of rage, the young leader barely steadied himself in mid-air. A violet gold divine light surged like a raging wave, and a bone chilling power pervaded the air. He glared at Ye Qingyu, motioning with his hand, “Surround him, kill him!”

Clang! Clang! Clang!

The Violet Gold divine guards lifted their spear, sending a burst of cold light flashing in the air, and pointed the sharp tip of the spear at Ye Qingyu in unison.

The Suanni beast subspecies was similarly in a thundering rage, scarlet red flames and smoke flowing out the gaps of the armour. The earth quaked, the air trembled, and a terrifying imposing aura like a collapsing mountain came pressing towards Ye Qingyu and the Heaven Wasteland diplomatic corps.

The anger inside of Ye Qingyu was blazing fiercely at that moment.

The power of lightning and ice began to run around his body quietly.

He had already held back in his attack just now.

Otherwise, even if the young leader may not die, the Suanni beast subspecies would have been reduced to a pool of blood and flesh.

Who knew the other side was still so ungrateful.

Ye Qingyu’s face was crossed with a biting cold expression.

Fine, might as well take advantage of this opportunity to give a surprise to the various forces of the Chaos Ruins Domain. Although Heaven Wasteland Domain was a lower domain, that did not mean it had to bow to anyone. In the world of martial arts, all dignity and recognition were gained from fighting.

As long as you don’t kill people.

But just as Ye Qingyu was about to counterattack——

“Woof! Woof Woof Woof!”

A sharp and clear bark, which did not match the atmosphere, sounded all of a sudden.

Before the Violet Gold divine guards had reacted, there was a series of barks, each more reverberating than the previous, and each more drawn-out than the one before. At the seventh ‘woof’, that voice was like a roar of anger of the Dragon God of the Ninth Heaven. The resounding bellow made their head spin, their eyes blur, and their ears buzz.

The ordinary milky white dog next to Ye Qingyu moved a few steps forward, his body rapidly expanding.

Instantly, the dog grew to hundreds of meters tall. His white hair were like numerous strands of divine light, each flowing with a brilliance and full of a mysterious aura. And from that originally stupid dog head, a ruthless and murderous aura that seemed to have come from the ancient Asura battlefield erupted out from his huge mouth as he roared.

Facing the thunderous roar of the white beast that appeared all of a sudden, there seemed to be a howling wind engulfing over. The Violet Gold divine guards were all terror stricken.

The group of earthshaking Suanni beasts subspecies were all drawing back in fear.

The Violet Gold divine guards were unable to pull them back.

These Suanni beasts subspecies, as though they had encountered their natural enemy, wailed and retreated, shivering like dogs facing a giant dragon. The red flames all over their body had completely faded, and in the end, their forelegs were half kneeling on the ground, and no matter how the Violet Gold guards whipped them or commanded, they did not move the slightest!

“Woof woof, a group of ants dare to make a racket in front of Woof. Now you are behaving well.” The giant dog smugly lowed down at the Suanni beasts subspecies, and then a stream of saliva flowed out the corners of his mouth, mumbling to himself, “Looks very delicious. I wonder how it will taste!”

When the Suanni beasts subspecies heard such words with their sensitive ears, all of a sudden they began to wail tragically like they were begging for mercy.

The abrupt change of scene shocked everyone.

In mid air, the young leader was also shocked.

He looked at the white beast that suddenly appeared beneath them, infinitely bewildered.

Although the Suanni beasts subspecies was not a true Suanni beast, but the blood of its ancient ancestors flowed in its body. In the Chaos Ruins Domain, it was ranked in the top ten battle beasts. They had a ferocious and violent temperament, and had always been unafraid of death, extremely proud. But why would they be frightened to this extend by the roar of giant white dog?

This white giant dog... what sort of monster is it?

“Hey hey, alright, everybody calm down.” The envoy elder, who had been indifferently watching at one side finally smiled and tried to mediate the situation, “You are all humans, why fight against your own people? Take a step back, haha, we each step back, and treat it as nothing had happened.”

“Yes, if someone were killed, it will be time-consuming to bury them.” The thin old man also opened his mouth and said the longest sentence ever since he appeared.

Ye Qingyu looked puzzledly at the thin old man. On the basis of his speaking manner, how could he still be alive today?

The big headed silly dog did not looked too happy, growled, “Woof, fat old man, you two are being unfair. You are taking sides. Just now, as we were bullied by that group of bastards, why didn’t you open your mouth then? Now Woof has the upper hand, and was about to eat one or two of those Suanni beasts subspecies, so you jumped out and interfered.”

The chubby old man grinned, wiping the sweat on his forehead, and said with a deadpan expression, “You can’t say it like that, the Violet Gold divine guards have a high status in the city. If one or two of them were to die, then it will be a big mess. It is not a problem if one or two of the less important people of your corps were killed...”

Before he finished, the gaze that the Heaven Wasteland diplomatic corps looked the fat old man with was as if they were shooting thousands of arrows at him.

Old fish’s eyes lit up, “This fat man, haha, his shameless face is very much like me back then...”

Ye Qingyu also felt an impulse to violently beat up the fat old man.

Silly dog did not expect the fat thing to say such a thing. Speechless for a moment, he then said in a tone of disbelief, “You... fat old man, I can’t believe you would do such things so openly and unscrupulously, but act so righteous, Woof really is inferior to you.”

“Haha, thanks for the compliment.” The chubby old man grinned——
