Sheyan was stunned when presented with this queer suicidal move by Patrice. Instead, his nightmare imprint notified him.

[ Growth-Hunter no.k990658 has activated ’System Clone’ ]

[ You killed Growth-Hunter no.k990658’s clone ]

[ Detail: You do not receive any achievement points or slayer points, but will receive two random equipments from the clone ]

[ Detail: Growth-Hunter no.k990658 has revived in her personal room, losing half of her equipments. Her attributes will be restored to the latest moment of clone backup ]

Seeing the list of notifications, Sheyan relaxed a little; understanding that Patrice was exceedingly arrogant and would rather commit suicide than die to him.

With the pressure lifted, Sheyan slumped to the ground and coughed intensely. It was as though his lungs were tattered bellows and every cough issued a stabbing agony.

Actually, the root reason for Sheyan being battered so miserably by Patrice, was also due to the earlier bitter battles.

Previously, Sheyan faced the crushing rampage of Hammond’s child, a hybrid dinosaur boss of the Awakener realm level. He even suffered two terrifying high-voltage electric shocks and was struck into near-death state. The injuries he sustained then was extremely grave and some of his organs were probably failing.

Such injuries were equivalent to incapacitation of limbs. Although he could recover, his regeneration speed became fairly slow. Only by resting for 8-12 hours, would he be able to restore his proper bodily functions.

Thus, when Sheyan battled Plague, his wounds worsened once again. During his standoff with Patrice, one could imagine how nasty his condition was, so much so, that he had to consume the precious ’Na`vi Secret Medicine’ to force out a victory.

As for Patrice and Plague, their relationship was truly peculiar.

Oh, Patrice was bisexual while Plague had given up on romance after being hurt by a man before entering the realm. Thus, they got along just fine but the incompatibility in personalities resulted in frequent arguments. Still, those arguments didn’t affect their relationship.

To summarize with an example, please refer to the novel – ’sword stained with royal blood’. The exact relationship between He Hongyao and Xia Xueyi.

Sheyan felt much better after coughing. Still, his organs transmitted pangs of convulsing pain that prompted him to quickly consume some other medicines.

Meanwhile, Zi’s situation was grim. One could seemingly observe an inferno in Skull’s and Zeus’s eyes, as they pressed in within 10 meters of Zi. Two other Growth-Hunters they shielded behind them began pouring out assaults.

If not for Zi’s matchless offensive might and her ruthlessness in dispatching others, in addition to the enemies experiencing a disease outbreak, they would’ve long broken through her defense.

In spite of that, Zi was on the verge of collapse as her complexion paled considerably. She was purely relying on will and mental strength.

Truth to be told, after experiencing such an insane roller coaster of a journey in this Jurassic Park World, her mental fortitude was simply exceptional.

Think about it, what was her mental state upon entering this world?

Harboring great expectations as she led her party to seek for revival in this world.

Yet in the end, she was betrayed. All her loyal subordinates perished. She was forced into a dead end.

What sort of traumatic blow was that to one’s mental capacity?

Following that, came the rescue; a glimmer of hope at her darkest hour…...only to be sandwiched by two redoubtable MT parties before departing this world!!!

Regaining heart, only to have one’s hopes dashed once again.

During then, her will was utterly crushed. Nevertheless, Sheyan forcibly reignited it with his indomitable charm and methods!

Hence, as she stood at the end of this tunnel, her willpower and belief had reached an all time high.

Perhaps to a Growth-Hunter, combat statistics were king while willpower and belief was purely intangible fantasy. Still, even the greatest weapon requires some skill to use.

After all, a Growth-Hunter was similarly human and not a robot. Just like the difference between a common pilot and an elite pilot, one would exhibit different levels of combat prowess with the same equipment.

Under normal circumstances, one’s willpower and belief may not manifest much difference. However, humans are without errors, and frequently during times of crisis when the pressure multiplies, the chances of mistake increases as well. That is where willpower and belief comes into play, allowing one to display a composed fortitude to grasp the errors of others or resolve one’s own error.

That was also why Zi could persevere until now.

Sheyan regulated his breathing as he returned to Zi. Witnessing her holding up, and reckoning time was almost up, he hurled a flask of ’Curse-Mix’ into the tunnel.

Then, he swooped in and hoisted up Zi onto his shoulder before escaping.

The unbending Zi hadn’t experienced this before. She was still focused on knocking Skull flying again, before abruptly feeling as though a cloud had picked her up; her world overturned as she seemed to be moving swiftly away.

After a brief delay, did she realized she was being carried on Sheyan’s shoulder as he fled for dear life. Her vision immediately darkened and she didn’t know whether to laugh or cry.

Any woman would surely dream of being embraced by her sweetheart. Even the less intimate kind would desire a powerful hug. Zi was no exception. She had even envisioned snuggling up to a man she admired...but never before, had she dreamt of being lifted up tightly like a sandbag by a sprinting man!

When Zeus and Skull finally barged through the poison fog of ’Curse-Mix’, Sheyan had carried Zi past a corner and boarded the elevator down. After stepping out of the elevator, he also ruined it.

At this moment, transport to the nightmare realm was restored.

Heaving a deep sigh of relief, both Sheyan and Zi simultaneously selected to return.

Their surroundings gradually blurred and when they became clear again, they were inside the world summary room.

Only now, did Zi realized her current posture was extremely inelegant.

While sprinting away, Sheyan attempted to speed up with Zi’s long legs flinging around in his face. Thus, his hand was presently and crudely grabbing onto one of Zi’s butt cheek, while his face was near her lower abdomen. It didn’t feel so awkward while fleeing, but now, even Zi felt exceedingly uncomfortable.

”Put me down.” Zi voiced out softly.

At present, Sheyan was as exhausted as a dog while panting with his tongue spilling out. Naturally, he wasn’t harboring any wild and fanciful thoughts.

Following that, Zi naturally proceeded with the summary.

In contrast, Sheyan was transported here through Demondream’s ’Spacetime Wormhole’, and wasn’t linked to this world at all. Naturally, he left in the same manner as he came.

Upon returning, Mogensha and Reef didn’t feel anything abnormal at all, and were immensely shocked after Sheyan spontaneously recounted his experience; such a tremendous affair happened after they had left.

If the two of them were present, Reef and Zi could take turns defending the tunnel exit and their situation wouldn’t have been so dire. Still, what’s done is done, regrets are useless.

Sheyan then received a notification from his nightmare imprint.

[ Will of Growth-Hunter no.89912 (deceased) has been accomplished ]

[ You can freely obtain one option from her equipment, item, achievement points or utility points as your inheritance ]

[ Detail: Your current military rank is Major. You can pay 1 achievement point and 10,000 utility points for a chance of redraw ]

[ Detail: Redraw doesn’t mean draw another. You must give up the first drawn reward to redraw ]

To Sheyan, Demondream’s equipments weren’t very enticing. Not only was she an agility type Growth-Hunter, Zi had channelled all the party’s resources to Yuan Zhan. Hence, she wouldn’t provide any outstanding equipment.

As for Demondream’s items, she would’ve definitely exhausted most of them before perishing.

Regarding utility points, although she definitely accumulated some in the realm, it wouldn’t be too excessive. Moreover, Sheyan reckon she wouldn’t present any surprises. After all, her resources could be pooled together with the party, leaving only some reserve utility points for personal use.....only achievement points incited some anticipation in Sheyan.

Brother Black didn’t really understand. Since Demondream’s utility points could be transferred to the party, why not achievement points?

Indeed, Sheyan wasn’t anticipating Demondream’s accumulated achievement points at all.

Don’t forget, Demondream’s dagger had fallen into the hands of Kaoyi of Skull Party. Therefore, she undoubtedly battled members of Skull Party before, and for a stealthy agile type killer like her, eliminating a single official Growth-Hunter of Skull Party would earn her 4 achievement points.....if Demondream eliminated ten of them, man that is impossible.

It would be a remarkable feat to harvest the lives of 2-3 individuals already. As for Sheyan, he reckoned she could at least provide 10 achievement points.
