She wiped the corner of her mouth with the back of her hand.

Yet another ghastly crimson stain tarnished the back of her pearly white hand.

The blue radiance of her magic robe had turned dim.

Not a single rhombus mana crystal could be seen revolving around her.

Though trapped in such vile circumstances, there wasn’t a trace of sorrow, agony or despair in Zi’s eyes.

Instead, they were boundlessly cold and detached.

Fighting on with mechanical emotions, she was utterly devoid of external perturbation; like an unmovable instrument that would never err.

The side effects of employing this state for extended periods of time, all humanly emotions would slowly be grinded away. Eventually, in the end, the robot would completely replace the owner’s personality; losing all desire to eat or rest and finally perishing.

However, if not for her upgrading this ability from level 9 to 10, thereby inducing a qualitative change where its ability rank was raised from ’A+’ to ’S’, Zi wouldn’t have been able to survive till now.

In the initial stage, this ability was called ’Chaos Bloodline’, something she had acquired in one of her earliest adventures in the Star Wars world. To learn this passive ability, one was required to possess ’Basic Force’. That ability was then evaluated as merely a ’B’ rank. Furthermore, its cost of upgrade was tremendous, and to upgrade it from level 3 to 4, she needed to accomplish a mission as well!

After accomplish her mission, the ability then broke through to an ’A-’ ranking.

When the ’Chaos Bloodline’ ability was raised to level 7, she needed to accomplish another highly difficult mission. In that mission, Zi slayed a mix-blood leech dragon in the Harry Potter world. The ’Chaos Bloodline’ then achieved an ’A+’ ranking. Furthermore, it changed from a single ability into 5 tiers of possible branch abilities.

Not long after entering this world, Zi finally amassed sufficient achievement points to improve this ’Chaos Bloodline’ ability to level 10, and successfully upgraded it to an ’S’ rank ability. It was like shedding her mortal body and exchanging all her bones. The ’Chaos Bloodline’ evolved to an new and invincible ability – ’Passionless Dragonforce Bloodline’.

Without this bloodline ability, even if Demondream and her other comrades repeatedly sacrificed themselves to cover Zi, she would have perished many times long ago. Still, she had just grasped this ability, where moments that she was incapable of controlling her emotions still occurred; leading to her wasting two golden opportunities to escape.

Right now, the enemy she was facing wasn’t a nobody. Indeed, it was a former senior figure of the Illume-union – Sable.

In a not too distant building, all light had seemingly been devoured by darkness. The air echoed out a palpitating heartbeat, coupled with the breathing of chaos, urgency, greed and thirst.....hidden within that darkness, was Yuan Zhan.

Up till now, of her four great heavenly generals, Demondream had died in battle! Archeaphill had sustained fatal wounds, and managed to save his life with an ’Unmodeled Amnio-tank’. Nevertheless, his capabilities took a huge slump afterwards, plunging to a state where he wouldn’t even be able to equip Reef’s dark-gold grade shield. Thus, he naturally perished in battle shortly after!

With the demise of their MT, Sable and Yuan Zhan, who was hailed as the party’s reviving hope, had decisively and wisely submitted to their circumstances. When facing their former boss Zeus, they surrendered and turned traitor.

Following that, to earn the favourable impression of the second in command, Fu Lyanna, they spontaneously volunteered to pursue and kill Zi!

Within a short span of time, the organized party she was barely managing instantly faltered. Of the four great heavenly generals, two died and two betrayed, leaving the party leader as a widow. Furthermore, she had to flee from the vile pursuit of her former comrades.

Such a forlorn aspect, if it was anyone else, that person would’ve crumbled long ago. A pity, Zi had awakened this ability and managed to strive on in this vile impasse!

Only one notion governed her heart – to live. To stubbornly and defiantly live on, to get revenge for Archeaphill and Demondream, and lastly, for herself. Only by living would all else be possible!

Screaming against the wind, Sable was now wielding an incredibly malevolent and deadly bone long saber. This weapon was shaped like a wild beast’s vertebra, and danced with dissipating black mist as it ripped apart the air. That was the frightening scream it exuberated.

Expressionlessly leaping up, he viciously chopped down against Zi.

Due to its incomparable slashing speed when slashing through the air, it was as though a vengeful spirit was screaming in distress. One could describe this situation as gaining the upper hand just by a show of strength.

Facing Sable’s onslaught, Zi coldly pointed with her left finger. Her lips tightly pursed, before a transparent matter congealed at her fingertip and greeted Sable.

Force Wall Barrier!

Sable’s lips curled into a mocking smirk.

All of a sudden, along his dreadful long saber shaft, two sharp and curved ivory fangs bit into his hand

Instantaneously, two of his cyan meandering veins along both his arms burst opened. One could vividly observe that Sable’s blood and life essence was being poured into the long vertebra saber.

At once, the long saber ignited with black flames before heavily receiving the incoming force wall.

When the vertebra long saber impacted the force wall, those black flames spreaded towards the force wall and swiftly combusted.

Under the incandescent flames, one could observe many fine lines forming on the transparent force wall, transforming into a large surreptitious symbol that resembled the Empire insignia of Star Wars. The flames continued burning, as the symbol rapidly took shape in midair.

However, the flames quickly retracted towards the vertebra long saber! Seemingly about to cut off Sable’s attack!

Instead, Sable roared loudly as two more ivory fangs poked out from the vertebra saber shaft, and drilled deep into his hand. Instantly, the black flames of the saber rummaged with a fanatical resurgence, and directly ignited that large surreptitious symbol!

Boom! The symbol exploded with black flames as well.

Seizing this delay, Zi had managed to successfully make a full retreat. Her eyes had the characteristics of red phoenix eyes, slightly hooked up at the edges which enhanced her exquisite features and graceful balefulness.

A murderous intent flashed and faded in her eyes as she glared at Sable. But just as Zi was about to flee into a nearby alley, a brown root uprightly drilled out from the ground without a single warning!

Originally pliable and soft looking, the brown root blackened and speared forth with matchless velocity and incisiveness. Like a sharp black tendril, it thrusted towards Zi’s delicate waist!

Despite Zi looking as though she was caught off guard, when that incisive root was about to pierce her body, it suddenly froze and slowed down. Then like slow motion playback in movies, one could vividly notice the sharp root tendril had seemingly encountered an enormous obstacle.

Instantly after, a layer of transparent armour slowly coated Zi, and protected her from any ambushing assaults.

Numerous fine lines incessantly swarmed through the transparent armour, before forming into that unique Empire insignia.

Force Wall Spiritguard! When receiving an abrupt attack, it could guard a single attack from the enemy, and had a cooldown of 45 seconds. When it shatters, it holds a chance of recoiling damage to surrounding enemies.

However, after the first incisive root tendril was stalled….within a breath, the second root drilled out from the ground and resolutely thrusted in.

Waves of root assailed the ’Force Wall Spiritguard’ bit by bit. However, the ’Spiritguard’ actually appeared flexible as it concaved in and lessened the thrusting impact. Yet ultimately, the impact was too great, and like an exquisite porcelain being depressed in, it shattered. Icy like fragments scattered everywhere!

As multitudes of transparent fragments scattered with lethal speed, they pierced into the roots on the ground, and into the nearby darkness!

Instantly, a weird brown plant toppled over in the darkness. The plant was shaped like a spindle and was roughly two metres tall. Three fragments sliced through the bottom of the plant and severed its main stem. Then, massive amount of blood like sap gushed out highly and splashed out in all directions.

”Hais…..” A cultured male who wore gold rimmed spectacles emerged. He was gazing in from the second floor of a distant building. He wore a white tuxedo with a davetail joint tie. He was indeed Yuan Zhan.

”Your excellency Zi, you should give up on struggling. Every ’Poison Needle Cactus’ I breed requires 3,000 utility points! Since death is inevitable, why not let us conserve our strength on account of our long term servitude to you? What’s the point of such meaningless struggle?”

”Can’t you be like Demondream? When I carved her head off, I still kissed her deathly pale lips and her closed eyes. How melancholic and romantic that was?”

”You…..” Zi’s eyes flashed with a furious glint. With that slight distraction, the snickering Sable had already grabbed his vertebra long saber, and was ruthlessly slashing over.

At this moment, Zi forcibly congealed a rhombus crystal by her side, which rapidly shifted to block his sable. Yet simultaneously, it was shattered by Sable’s saber!

Fortunately, while seizing the instance of Sable striking with his saber, she had wretchedly dodged away.

After smashing through Zi’s protective rhombus crystal, his saber continued unstoppably and struck against the steel doorpost of a bar!

Kang!! Sparks emerged as the vertebra long saber collided against the steel doorpost. The distinctly sharp sound of rattling lingered in the hearts of anyone present; inducing an unpleasant sensation of vomiting blood.

The steel doorpost broke into two, and this bar which was already severely wrecked previously, instantly collapsed with a boom. Rocks rolled everywhere as dust sediments puffed up; sealing off Zi’s escape route!
