The Versatile Master Artist

This made Gu Weijing even less interested in attending any pool party.

Considering the time he currently spent on a Painting Knife Painting and the offer from the Scholastic Group, five thousand US dollars really wasn’t too much to ask for.

Miao Angwen’s face turned green as he listened.

Attending a party... for five thousand dollars. Did Gu Weijing think he was some kind of Virgin Mary supermodel? Dogshit!

”Give him face but he doesn’t want it.”

The delinquent beside Miao Angwen spoke up at this time, ”Brother Miao, let’s teach him a lesson, make sure he behaves.”

A lesson?

Miao Angwen suddenly laughed, realizing something.

Gu Weijing no longer had the female student council president who always took good care of him, and he himself was no longer the little nobody who relied on rented formal wear for support.

For the task handed down by that esteemed person, Miao Angwen had already fulfilled it to the utmost.

Since this guy didn’t appreciate the kindness, even if he gave Gu Weijing a small lesson now, it wouldn’t hurt.

Even...

”Are you interested in working for me?”

A difficult-to-suppress thought emerged in Miao Angwen’s mind. As soon as this thought emerged, it grew like weeds in the wilderness.

He pulled the delinquent aside and lowered his voice to ask in the other’s ear.

The delinquent, seeing Miao Angwen as if he wanted to issue important instructions, immediately nodded excitedly.

”Brother Miao wants me to deal with him, sure, these kinds of students are easy to handle, leave it to me.”

Brother Miao apparently had a grudge with this high school student, and dealing with these seemingly well-behaved students was his specialty.

The delinquent stared at Gu Weijing’s face as if he was looking at a golden opportunity.

”Deal with him, ha, I don’t want to just deal with him. As long as you break one of his fingers today, you can run with me in the future.”

Miao Angwen smiled slightly and gave a casual command.

These delinquents’ methods of dealing with people were bad, but not vicious enough.

Even if they behaved worldly, they still remained in a student mindset; extortion, bullying, humiliation, these things were childish and trivial.

Miao Angwen, who had already truly shed blood, was much more ”adult” than them.

He didn’t care how humiliating it was for Gu Weijing.

When Miao Angwen acted, he acted ruthlessly; he directly wanted the other party’s hand!

A sense of crisis!

Miao Angwen didn’t know why that esteemed person valued Gu Weijing so much, nor did he know Gu Weijing had already refused Brother Hao’s invitation.

His heart was always filled with a sense of crisis.

Miao Angwen hated Gu Weijing, he feared Gu Weijing even more.

In his dreams, he was afraid that the opportunity to work for Brother Hao would be taken by the Gu Weijing in front of him.

Miao Angwen could even ignore past grievances between him and Gu Weijing, but he could not ignore the fear of Gu Weijing taking his place in front of Brother Hao.

The rich second-generation students in the school were at most just showing off on campus.

But if you could work for Brother Hao, you could show off in a whole city.

The taste of power and wealth, once sampled, is unforgettable forever.

Harming someone’s financial path is like killing their parents.

If anyone dared to snatch Miao Angwen’s opportunity to succeed, he wouldn’t mind taking a dark hand to cripple the other party.

”Breaking a finger, this is Fitz’s campus, spreading this out isn’t good for Brother Miao...” the delinquent hesitated.

He was a bad kid,

But even he knew that breaking an art student’s finger wasn’t as simple as undetectable humiliation.

The delinquent wouldn’t care about ruining a student’s future.

But for something like this, he felt Fitz’s school authorities wouldn’t let it go as easily as a petty extortion of a few dozen dollars.

”Of course this has nothing to do with me. Remember, it was during your ’play’ that you accidentally broke his finger.”

”But...”

Miao Angwen glanced at the hesitant delinquent.

”Help me pull off this job, and you’ll be my brother. Money, women, whatever you want. Future wealth will definitely include a share for you. What... at worst, it’s just detention or a demerit, you wouldn’t care about that, right?”

The delinquent was silent for a few seconds, and the hesitation on his face gradually turned into ruthlessness.

Brother Miao was right.

At worst, it’s just a demerit, detention, or calling parents.

He was such a bad kid; he didn’t care about demerits.

Even if things went terribly, and Fitz here had a strong stance and he got expelled from one school.

Being able to firmly connect with Brother Miao’s network was worth it.

Miao Angwen saw the delinquent seemed to have made up his mind, so he patted his shoulder and said sinisterly, ”Go on, remember the right hand, thumb and index finger choose one... never mind, why not both, break two fingers, make sure to twist and snap them.”

Being an art student himself, Miao Angwen understood better how to cripple an artist.

Over thirty percent of hand functions rely on the thumb; once injured, even normal grips become difficult.

The index finger is used for positioning when holding a pen.

With a damaged index finger, the pen tip becomes unstable.

Twisting injuries and animal bite injuries are the toughest orthopedic injuries to treat; bones and tendons are severely damaged.

Even if Gu Weijing were Picasso reincarnate...

If he suffered such an injury, after years of recuperation, with a bit of luck perhaps he could hold things and carry a plastic bag, but forget about painting.

”Got it. I’ll also smash the bones throughout the hand.”

The delinquent nodded, pressing his thumb to his nose like Bruce Lee in the movies, revealing a fierce grin.

Kiddo.

Don’t blame me for being ruthless; blame your bad luck.

Who told me that by crippling you, I could get rich?

The delinquent moved forward without speaking, having his minions grab Gu Weijing’s shoulders, then drove a knee into Gu Weijing’s stomach.

He reached out to grab the boy’s right hand.

”Stop! What are you doing!”

A girl’s voice, sharp with anger, called from the distance.

Mona, having just left the public studio, tossed her backpack aside and ran over.

She had noticed Gu Weijing in trouble after seeing pictures of the delinquents surrounding him at the school gate on a social chat group.

Mona thought she didn’t care about Gu Weijing’s affairs.

He didn’t come to the studio every day for self-study; maybe he had messed with someone outside, leading to the delinquents surrounding him.

He deserved it!

She put away her phone, ready to get back to her artwork on the easel.

After Mrs. Sakai had pointed out the mistakes in her work, Mona was in the midst of reworking her ”Self-portrait,” currently halfway through coloring, she couldn’t leave.

However,

After putting down her phone, Mona felt uneasy, even mixing the wrong medium oil, resulting in unworkable paint.

This damn boy, never gives peace of mind.

”Forget it, I should go take a look. As the student council president, preventing potential on-campus bullying is part of my duty and obligation, I should check it out even if it were someone else facing this... definitely not because I care about this guy.”

Mona wrestled with her decision for a few seconds, biting her lower lip, ultimately convincing herself.

”I must clarify later that I came just because of my student council duties.”

”Act cold, don’t let that guy have wrong thoughts, don’t get entangled again, separated means separated.”

She calculated how to face Gu Weijing while packing her art supplies.

Then she grabbed her small backpack and ran towards the green corridor at the school gate.

Mona ran faster and faster.

When she got to the spot featured in the photo, she saw the moment Gu Weijing got kneed in the stomach by the delinquent.

”How dare you... How dare you... This is a school!! Where are the staff? Where are the teachers?”

She panicked, her previously prepared words and composure vanished, her mind went blank.

Mona’s hands were tightly clenched as she ran fast, her dark pupils flashing with extreme anger.

After all these years of painstakingly taking care of Gu Weijing, how dare they bully him right under my nose!

Her lips turned pale, and she trembled all over.

The Miss Female Student Council President had never felt so angry before.
