Triple X System

Astral projection? He was fully aware with the term astral projection, having acquired such feet with his training with eldren. Even accidentally creating a skill called demonic astral projection.

[yes. While most people are oblivious to this fact its still a widely known concept. Which refers to the concept describing the experience of one’s consciousness leaving the physical body. Travelling in a nonphysical form through a different plane of existence.]

I get all that but if I astral projected wouldn’t I be alerted by the system? He still found it hard to believe as he wasn’t in the black soul form prior when in the labyrinth.

[if using the skill yes but users gifted with the ability to transfer their consciousness tends to do so subconsciously without intention. Particularly those who hasn’t mastered control over it. Thus travelling through a stellar space also known as the astral plane to different dimensions.]

Hearing snow he couldn’t deny she made sense. While in the castle hed encountered kimi whom he assumed was his departed aunt. But in reality was the labyrinth in disguise.

With an entirely different more beastial aura than his aunt kimi’s. Also coming into direct contact with the light, in what hed presumed was the celestial city. Thinking over such events and while he didn’t want to admit it. Everything he experienced at sandhill castle seemed too good to be true

Checking his skills there wasn’t any significant changes, except for the increase by one in his stats.

[lv: 49]

Am still on 49? According to the system notification he was green to evolve into the next rank. But his level still displayed 49 instead of the required 50.

Maybe I have to evolve first to change the level. Looking round there wasn’t anyone in site spanning for a long distance. Not even a vibration in the sand across a 70 meter radius, making the idea of evolving here sound tempting.

[while its not the best of ideas to evolve here I wouldn’t call it the worst. Considering you have probably one of the toughest challenges in front.] snow said making kyle raise a brow not expecting that.

As his personal aid she didn’t just serve as an advice giver but his lifeline. From the stories hed read evolution was a huge margin from levelling up. Mostly involving a very excruciating painfilled process for several minutes if not hour depending on the nature of evolution.

You said one of my toughest challenges, why?

During the closing moments of his fight with troy lynn had suddenly appeared. From what hed sensed her aura was powerful, possible on the same with troys but he couldn’t tell for sure. As that staff obstructed his senses.

But from what hed observed he could tell she drew power from that staff with the purple orb. Exponentially increasing her stats by a margin within mere seconds. Like some sort of portable power surge.

[from my little analysis I’ve concluded the staff acts as her backup source for power. Not her primary source, like a trump card. Though her ability remains unkown theres a wide possibility its different from lumias.]

I suspected that but how those that categorize her as a threat? He asked a bit confused.

[as youre aware there are countless abilities spread across space. Varying from elemental dealing mostly with the elements like fire, water etc.. transformative ability to transform a part of ones self. Which are further grouped into three stages according to the power scale.]

[definitive: consisting of the two mentioned above and other common abilities. Pure: dealing mainly with healing, invisibility, laser emission and other light based attacks. And lastly the unfamiliar consisting of space and time manipulation, mimicry, eternity manipulation and so on. Each having their sub branches of skills, existing or created.]

[as you may know the definitive group of abilities rises along with its user. Growing rapidly tending to reach its peak quite early if honed to the fullest. Thus being limited and easy to counteract.] she explained to which kyle listen attentively.

[the second being the pure group consisting mostly of supernatural abilities with a tendency to light properties. Unlike the first these abilities tend to grow slowly with a wide room for improvement often tricky to counteract.] she paused letting kyle digest every piece of information.

[and lastly the unfamiliar.. these abilities are hard to comprehend having a complex background. Unlike the first two they aren’t bound by natural laws, transversing the laws of reality itself.users with such abilities tend to have a rocky path to power, hitting one blockage after the other. Until eventually they transition into something beyond mortal realms.]

Youre talking about beings whove reached god rank right?

[precisely.. these beings are referred to as gods and immortal having broken through mortal boundaries and transcended into immortals. To have lived centuries establishing their sects of devoted followers and races.]

Just like athos... kyle muttered recalling the vision of a million years ago. Athos, once a devoted messanger of the light, a primordial. Was blackmailed by none other than his pier, stripped of not only his title but everything he held dear.

Is it perhaps possible to somehow kill a god and what happens if a god losses his devotees? This was the question which haunted his mind. If gods were immortal and didn’t die, didn’t it mean it was literally impossible to kill lucifer? Considering he’s not only a god but the ruler of demons?

[while gods are termed immortals being they don’t naturally die they aren’t necesarrily unkillable. There are two ways to kill a god. One being to become a god yourself through severe endurance and resilience. Second would require an artifact on the same callibre with the said god strength or higher.]

Like a god slayer. He smiled comprehending what she meant.

Theres still hope. His lips curved upwards into a light smile. Though he was nowhere near god rank or a god slayer weapon it didn’t deter his attitude of finding one.

Why wasn’t I aware of all this earlier? It was weird how she didn’t inform him about these earlier as it was unlike her to withhold such vital information since his unfortunate meeting with lucifer.

[it wasn’t considered to be important then so I didn’t disclose such.] she plainly spoke devoid of any emotion. Like a basic artificial intelligence, with no shroud of life.

Shes acting strange, but why? He wasn’t sure of snow’s recent unusual behavior but he pieced it had something to do with the primordial controlling the labyrinth.

[requirements for evolution has been met..]

[would user like to evolve?]

[yes/no?]

Staring at the screen his breath slowed down a bit reading the words over and over. it was a once in a lifetime opportunity fortunately not limited. Having a remainder of 2 days as per the system schedule.

But he was going up against one of the daughters of a king, arguably the most powerful and feared man here. Whom in her own right was powerful equipped with a strange staff which multiplys her stats in fraction of second. Not including whatever ability and trump cards she had up her sleeves.

Simply put he was outmatched with in this fight. Considering he chose to evolve here and now the initiation process would begin. Leading to his body transforming into a more better version than it is now. Which would also leave him defenseless and vulnerable to attacks according to snow.

Theres no point in stalling I might as well just do it now. Grunting his gaze hovered over the yes option about to select it when something pulled him from his trance.

Whats happening? He could feel it a change in the air like some sort of surge heating the already scorching air. Small quantities of sand spiralling in a frantic manner creating a small sized sand tornadoe in front. Sucking in nearby objects to its clutches.

[am detecting high traces of the wild purple aura from earlier. Something doesn’t seem right.] snow said her voice laced with a hint of wariness.

Nodding kyle prepared for the incoming threat. There was nowhere to escape in the desert and he had a gut feeling not to turn their backs on these things.

Swoosh! A much sharper wind cut through the air leaving small scarred marks to their cheeks.

Its sand. It was no doubt fragments of the burning sand that had done such damage. Which wasn’t strange, but the fact his body wasn’t healing itself.

[your system is trying to heal but something’s obstructing it. This is just a hunch but am inching towards a skill being in play here. Most likely to be a concealment skill by someone with a space manipulation ability.]

Well isn’t this just my lucky day. He chuckled slightly shaking his head. The chances of him completing this mission dwindling by the seconds.

Gazing at the miniature sized sand tornadoes the pressure protruding from them decreased. Along with the small gusts of sand surround it. Until it completely vanished leaving what looked like a hardened remenant.

Are those dogs? The sand statues took the form of what looked like little dogs sculpted from sand.

[they aren’t beasts but am detecting the unfarmiliar aura from them.] snow relayed to which kyle took into account.

Bam! A bang sound went off garning his attention as on of the five sand dogs was gone. On reflexes he raised the katana up just in time as an object clashed with it.

Such power and speed. I have to be careful. His eyes narrowed in on the dog darting a murderous intent towards nhim.

Bang! Bang!

Two more bang sounds erupted followed by the air behind him flaring up. About to dodge two figures stood behind him. A farmiliar black goo forming a shield big enough to stop the attacks.

Thank you. He dashed a light smile back at his parents to which they responded with one of theirs. Shifting his attention back to the dog, its body now severed into two.

Its powers split. He could feel it. A reduction in the terrifying aura from the sand dog, caused by it splitting its body.
