Don't Burn Them! Even Witches Have Value!

After grasping the tail of destiny, Lynn felt his breathing instantly become unobstructed.

Although he had struck a critical body part, to be honest, he was very afraid in his heart at this moment. After all, the other party’s combat power was clearly not on the same level as his own.

However, in order to create the conditions for Elysia to launch a surprise attack, he couldn’t let go right now.

Thus, he pinched the joint of her tailbone even harder.

”Nn... Ah... Stop... Stop it...”

For some unknown reason, the wolf girl’s voice trembled and became soft.

Her body also lost its strength, and she sprawled weakly on Lynn’s back.

No, she might be feigning surrender.

Lynn thought this way and then held on tightly, refusing to let go.

”Mmph!”

Scorching hot breaths puffed onto the top of Lynn’s head.

And the ham he had been thinking about constantly finally fell to the ground.

”Now’s the time! She no longer has a hostage!”

Lynn shouted anxiously at Elysia, only to see a strange expression appear on the latter’s face.

”What?”

He watched blankly as the witch not only remained indifferent, but even withdrew the magic fireball in her hand.

He completely couldn’t understand it. What was she doing?

Just as Lynn started trying to think, a sobbing sound came from his back:

”Wuwu... wuwuwu…

Iyanna... Won’t be able to get married anymore...

Wuaaaaah...”

The girl’s crying echoed through the quiet kitchen.

Lynn completely couldn’t imagine that it came from a dangerous existence who had nearly crushed him to death with her thighs.

He subconsciously released the tail in his hand.

But the other party didn’t react, still sprawled on his body and crying loudly.

He completely couldn’t understand it. Even the fluctuations of the stock market were easier to predict than this kind of thing.

Lynn, at a loss for what to do, was pinned to the ground by the crying girl. He looked at Employee Number One again for help.

Then he saw her expression that was clearly looking at trash.

And on the other side, Theodore rubbed his chin.

”Relying on indecency to make the opponent lose their combat power?

The behavioral patterns of Milanese nobles are truly peculiar.”

Elysia slowly stepped forward and affirmed with a disgusted tone.

”Yes indeed, most nobles are perverts like this.”

Hey! Why was he assumed to be a pervert?!

He was clearly the victim here, alright?!

——————————

Under the perverted lord’s miraculous operations and the perfect assistance of the two employees, the intruder who attacked the ham was finally caught and brought to the fireplace.

Looking at the wolf girl tied to the chair with her head lowered, Lynn finally saw the color of her fur under the firelight.

How should he put it…? It looked very much like the color scheme of a husky.

Especially the two tufts of white fur located in the front of her forehead amidst the black fur.

However, Lynn would soon understand that the other party wasn’t only like a husky in terms of fur.

”Good! As the Lord of Blackstone, I officially exercise my right of judgment!

I declare the Blackstone Supreme Court officially in session!”

Lynn borrowed Theodore’s wig, sat on the sofa, and knocked on the coffee table in front of him with a wooden gavel he had grabbed from who knows where.

”Defendant! State your name!”

Facing Lynn’s scolding, the girl still kept her head lowered, looking as if she had lost all hope in life.

She completely ignored the questioning and only repeatedly murmured like a broken machine.

”Iyanna’s no longer clean...”

”Good, the defendant’s name is Iyanna. Recorder, please record this truthfully.”

Theodore touched his short blond hair that had been underneath his wig, completely unable to grasp the current situation.

He only knew that Lynn kept clamoring about bringing all evil to justice, and then he seriously began going through the court process.

”Defendant, you are accused by the plaintiff... which is me, the judge, of illegal trespassing, infringement of property, and suspected murder.

Do you admit to these charges?”

”Iyanna has been defiled...”

”Good, the defendant has not denied it. Then, will the witness please speak.”

”Speak my foot! Can you let us sleep now?! What time is it already?!”

Elysia sat grumpily on another chair, crossing her arms over her chest and shouting loudly.

”We must seek justice for the murdered ham. This is a necessary process.”

Wiping the tears from the corners of his eyes, Lynn continued to knock the wooden gavel.

”The witness didn’t see the process of the attack and intrusion! The witness only saw a perverted lord indecently assault a girl, making her cry!”

Veins bulged on Elysia’s forehead.

”I just grabbed her tail...”

Lynn tried to defend himself.

And upon hearing these words, Iyanna, whose face had been ashen, suddenly burst into loud crying again.

”Wuwu... Mom said...

If a man... touches my tail... I’ll have a baby...

Only... the person Iyanna likes... can touch... Iyanna’s tail...

Wuwuwu...”

‘Don’t casually teach your children strange knowledge! Unknown Mother!’

Lynn felt his head hurt.

”Wuwu... humans... broke into... our home...

Mom said... as long as I keep running south... I’ll be able to see... them again in the future...

Iyanna kept running... and then found... this home...

Why... Why do you have to... snatch away Iyanna’s home…?

Always snatching it away...

Human... bastards... wuwu...”

Listening to the wolf girl’s crying, Lynn roughly guessed some of her past.

It was obvious that this girl’s family had encountered some misfortune, so she had fled to Blackstone Fief.

Then, because she was wary of humans, she hid in Reinhardt Castle, which happened to be empty before he arrived.

The silly wolf girl treated this place as her new home, and he and the others were seen by her as the people who snatched her home away.

Look at this, this was a typical misunderstanding caused by a lack of understanding of the law.

As a kind-hearted person, he should give her a free lesson of basic legal knowledge, and then happily deport her.

”Is that so…?”

Just then, Elysia’s murmur came from the side.

Lynn looked up and found that, at some unknown point, tears had already moistened this girl’s eyes.

Did she resonate with the other’s somewhat similar experience?

Truly a meaningless action

Lynn snorted disdainfully.

However, thinking about it carefully, Iyanna’s talent was very good, and she was a Battle Aura-type talent.

Furthermore, perhaps hidden in her background story was some strong claim to the Frost Kingdom.

He was merely considering it from the perspective of profit, and he felt that keeping her wouldn’t be bad either.

Besides, she had highly likely been in the castle all this time eating the food that was supposed to be inherited by him.

This wouldn’t do. There was no such thing as free food and lodging in Lynn’s dictionary.

He would just treat it as raising a security captain.

Thus, after joining forces with Elysia and Theodore to conduct legal and physiological education until dawn, Iyanna finally understood the fact that she had been eating and drinking heavily in someone else’s home all along.

Aside from that, she also learned that merely touching her tail wouldn’t make her pregnant with a baby.

”Mmm, I’m sorry. Mishter Lynn, Iyanna didn’t know this big house had an owner.”

Looking at the husky girl with her ears drooping, Lynn made an amiable smile.

”It’s fine, it’s completely understandable.

Come, sign this contract, and you can continue to eat and drink here in the future.”

”Mmm, what’s a corn-tract?”

”It’s nothing. Come, just press your handprint here. After you press it, the rest of the ham will be given back to you.”

”I’ll press! I’ll press! Ehehe.”

T/N - Ah, another poor soul has been conned. She didn’t even know what a contract was, let alone what was in it. She sold her soul for food, lodging, and ham.

Also, so the tail thing was because Iyanna’s Mother scared her about it as a kid. I won’t discard the tradition theory just yet though. There has to be a reason why her Mother made up that story. It’ll probably be brought up in the future for comedic effect.
