Apocalypse Rebirth: Making Billions With My Fortune-Telling Skill

Xavier stared at him, his mind completely reeling.

He couldn’t stop wondering—what exactly was the nature of the relationship between April and Samuel?

Recently, it felt as though Samuel was always at her side, anticipating her every need before anyone else could even open their mouth. She called for him naturally, trusted his presence implicitly, and now... she was sitting in the living room having a private lesson on sex education with him? Wasn’t that a bit unnatural unless there was something underneath?

A subtle, uneasy prickle settled in Xavier’s chest. Does April like Samuel in that way? He knew Samuel was fiercely dedicated, but seeing how comfortably April interacted with him made Xavier wonder if there was an underlying dynamic he had completely overlooked.

Still, Xavier reasoned, he wasn’t being pushed out. Samuel had actively invited him into the lesson, practically handing him the opportunity he could probably never take on his own. He would figure out the truth between them eventually.

What plagued him more right at this moment was the surreal, deeply awkward reality of the immediate situation.

Am I really about to touch April’s chest while Samuel stands right there watching us though?

The thought made a fresh wave of heat shoot straight up Xavier’s neck. Samuel was technically his employee first—he was his chief assistant who handle logistics long before he started working with April and they practically became inseparable.

Having his own subordinate stand over him like an instructor while he intimately handled the woman he cared about felt utterly bizarre. But this bizarre situation was handed to him by said subordinate, so who was he to complain? As log as april was okay with it.

Xavier swallowed hard, turning his head slowly to look down at April. He searched her calm, clear face, his voice raspy with a mix of hesitation and deep, burning focus.

”April...” Xavier murmured softly, his eyes locked onto hers. ”Are you truly comfortable with this? I won’t touch you unless you explicitly want me to. And Samuel will be watching too, plus... there’s your period and—”

”It’s fine, I promise,” April interrupted smoothly, her eyes completely unbothered and direct. ”And my period won’t stop you from sucking my nipples. I asked Nat for it and I don’t regret it, but I am very curious about this gentle touch that can drive me to that peak, as well as get rid of this unsatisfied ache pulsing on my nipples.”

Xavier’s breath hitched violently at her blunt explanation. The stark contrast between her clinical tone and the intensely erotic reality of her request made his heart hammer wildly against his ribs.

He was the saint, he was the boring one, he was the last person she would normally go for things like this, and yet... Seeing that she was entirely willing, his heart couldn’t stop pounding, a fierce fondness for her blooming heavily. There was longing, there was devotion, there was tust, there was promise, and there was there was a dark, quiet hunger that he could no longer pretend wasn’t there.

”Alright. If you don’t mind, then I don’t mind either.”

Samuel stepped forward, gesturing calmly toward the hallway.

”Then, it’s settled. To begin with, Master Reed, this environment is far too open and exposed for such an exercise,” Samuel noted in his crisp, instructional tone. ”I suggest we relocate to Miss April’s bedroom, where she can lie down comfortably, and you can receive proper guidance without distraction.”

Xavier cleared his throat, rolling up the rest of his sleeves just a fraction higher to hide the slight tremor in his hands. He stood up and offered April his hand, a charming, albeit slightly shy, crooked smile gracing his flushed face.

”Lead the way, then,” Xavier said softly, his golden eyes darkening with nervous anticipation as they headed up the broad staircase to her room. ”Though I hope you’re prepared to give clear instructions, Samuel... I’ve never exactly taken a class on this before.”

”Do not worry, Master Reed,” Samuel replied, a subtle glint catching the edge of his lenses as he tilted his glasses up. ”I know what I am doing.”

Behind that calm, flawless facade lay a vast store of precise, exhaustive knowledge. Samuel had spent months meticulously researching every detail of female anatomy, arousal, and pleasure—a devotion originally cultivated for the sake of his ex-girlfriend, Mei.

Yet, after their breakup, he had never once implemented any of it, swearing off the vulnerability of falling for another woman again and rather focusing on work. He had assumed that knowledge would remain purely theoretical forever.

Now, standing steps away from the woman who had effortlessly shattered his guarded heart, he channeled all that research into a single purpose. He would ensure that every ounce of April’s curiosity was answered and every physical craving satisfied with utmost care, even if those desires were brought to fruition through another man’s hands.

They reached April’s bedroom, where the soft, dim ambient lighting cast a warm, heavy atmosphere across the room.

April stepped inside, unbothered as always, and walked straight over to the mattress. She sat down near the edge, her eyes looking back at Xavier with unblinking, calm expectation.

Xavier followed her inside, his boots quiet against the rug as he paused near the side of the bed. He unbuttoned the top two buttons of his collar to catch his breath, his pulse thumping heavily in his throat.

He shot a brief, tense glance toward Samuel, who had already positioned himself near the foot of the bed—poised, silent, and completely attentive, like a seasoned professor presiding over an important exam.

”Lie back comfortably, Miss April,” Samuel instructed smoothly, his voice dropping into that deep, steady tone of absolute authority. ”Master Reed, take your place beside her.”

Xavier swallowed hard, his heart doing a nervous flip in his chest. Bracing himself, he stepped up to the edge of the large mattress and sat down beside April, the bed dipping beneath his weight as his breath hitched slightly at her proximity.

Samuel, meanwhile, moved across the room. Pulling the high-backed armchair into a position where his view remained completely unblocked, he sat down.

Crossing one leg over the other, Samuel rested his notebook on his knee, holding his pen ready to take notes. His dark eyes remained fixed on the two of them behind his glasses with serene, clinical focus.

”Master Reed, shift closer so you may reach her without straining your posture.”

Xavier adjusted his seating, shifting his knees toward April’s waist as she reclined back against the plush pillows. Her gaze remained direct, unbothered, and entirely calm as she looked up at him, her dark eyes reflecting the soft, warm glow of the bedside lamp.

”First,” Samuel’s voice drifted over from the armchair, precise and measured, ”unbutton her blouse slowly. Sudden or rushed movements induce unintended tension in the recipient. Keep your touch light, deliberate. That way, her body understands the signal better.”
