The Elven Cultivator

「Chenxi Calendar, Year 9320. Spring.」

Eighteen years had passed since the Second Elder brought back news of the Giant Dragon leaving Dragon City.

Over these years, many things had happened one after another within the Silver Moon Clan.

After absorbing the twelfth Elven group, the total population of the Silver Moon Clan finally surpassed the 4,000 mark.

Compared to just over a decade ago, the population had already doubled.

Following this, the Elder Council deliberated and decided to temporarily halt the absorption of more people.

The Clan now needed time to integrate its new members, stabilize itself internally, and enhance its cohesion.

Fortunately, this period was not expected to last too long.

After experiencing the highly efficient cultivation made possible by the Eternal Tree’s high energy concentration and the Dragon Essence Elixirs, the newly joined Elves’ sense of belonging to the Clan increased dramatically.

This was the benefit of a cultivation dividend.

It allowed every individual to clearly perceive the tangible reward of ’joining means getting stronger,’ which greatly increased their sense of identification with the Clan.

They felt especially fortunate about their decision to join the Silver Moon Clan after learning about the existence of things like Rune Equipment, improved potions, special combat techniques, and Spirit Gathering Talismans.

The Clan was far stronger than they had initially believed.

And during this process, the name Anton became renowned.

Everyone knew that the Silver Moon Clan—or rather, their Clan now—had a once-in-a-generation genius.

When there were resources for cultivation, rewards for effort, and a future to strive for, winning the people’s hearts and loyalty came naturally.

Amidst this thriving prosperity, the minor chaos caused by absorbing outsiders quickly subsided.

The entire Clan entered a trajectory of rapid development and began implementing a series of reforms.

The first was the expansion of the Forest Guard.

The Forest Guard was originally not very large, mainly because few in the old Silver Moon Clan had the strength to meet the standard for guards upon reaching adulthood.

But with Anton’s improved Dragon Essence Elixirs, the Clan’s overall strength had seen a significant increase over the years.

Therefore, taking advantage of the population boom, the Forest Guard not only recruited a large number of qualified personnel from the original clan members but also absorbed adult combatants from the various Elven groups, expanding its total numbers to over twelve hundred.

The Guard’s organizational structure was also changed accordingly.

Previously, the Forest Guard was only divided into squads and companies.

Every 10 people formed a squad, led by a squad leader.

Every 5 squads formed a company, led by a company leader.

Now, a new unit, the battalion, was established above squads and companies.

Every 6 companies formed a battalion, led by a battalion commander and a vice commander.

There were 4 battalions in total.

All positions from squad leader and above were held by Silver Tier combatants.

By this calculation, the Forest Guard had at least 152 Silver Tier combatants serving in leadership roles alone.

Among them, the 8 battalion commanders were all Upper Silver or Silver Peak.

Before, the Silver Moon Clan definitely could not have mustered so many Silver-ranked combatants.

However, over the years, with the Dragon Essence Elixirs, then the Spirit Gathering Talismans, and more recently the Spirit Gathering Arrays, the number of Silver Tier combatants in the Clan had grown significantly.

Furthermore, the joining of outside Elven groups also added dozens of Silver Tier combatants to the Clan, greatly filling the gap for leadership positions.

Below the leaders, over two-thirds of the guards possessed strength at the Black Iron Tier.

This was even after the influx of outside Elven groups had significantly lowered the proportion of Black Iron Tiers.

After all, these groups had survived in harsh environments with scarce resources, leading to slow strength progression. The overall strength of their adult Elves was far inferior to that of the Silver Moon Clan.

But now that they had joined the Silver Moon Clan, they too could enjoy the benefits of cultivating with the aid of Dragon Essence Elixirs.

With a period of growth, it was believed that the proportion of Black Iron Tiers in the Forest Guard would soon rise again.

As for Golden Tier combatants, there were still only two: Cedric and Elena.

The outside Elven groups had no Golden Tier combatants; otherwise, they wouldn’t have been reduced to seeking refuge with the Silver Moon Clan.

The entire Silver Moon Clan, including Anton, currently had only six Golden Tier combatants in total, by a generous count.

Fortunately, with the construction of more and more Spirit Gathering Arrays, the Clan’s number of Golden Tier combatants would only increase in the future.

In terms of equipment, the Forest Guard’s goal was to have all members outfitted with Rune Equipment.

Each person was to have at least one Micro-Light Level weapon and a suit of leather armor.

However, because the number of personnel had increased too much in a short period, it was not yet possible to fully equip everyone.

One reason was the limited annual production of Frost Pattern Silver.

Another was that currently only Anton could craft Rune Equipment.

He only set aside a portion of his time each year to craft Rune Equipment, so production was also limited.

But there was no rush. The Silver Moon Clan rarely engaged in combat nowadays, so equipment wear and tear was low. Outfitting everyone with Rune Equipment was just a matter of time.

In addition, the Forest Guard was also equipped with a small number of Scale Rock Lizards as combat partners.

The taming of the Scale Rock Lizards was mostly complete. They were now in the large-scale breeding phase, but their numbers were still low, with only about thirty-something supplied to the Forest Guard.

Even so, this made many guards extremely excited.

It was foreseeable that once the Scale Rock Lizard population was established and supplied freely to the Forest Guard, the latter’s strength would inevitably experience a qualitative leap.

Even without considering the future, the current Forest Guard could already be considered a formidable force.

If the current Silver Moon Clan were to face the Molten Spike Tribe again, they could secure a decisive victory even without joining forces with Gray Rock Castle.

The second reform concerned the Spirit Gathering Chambers.

To date, the number of Spirit Gathering Chambers in the Clan had increased to fourteen.

As before, the Spirit Gathering Chambers remained open only to clan members of the Silver Tier and above.

However, relative to the number of Silver and Golden Tier members in the Clan, there were still too few chambers.

For this reason, the Elder Council established a series of regulations regarding the chambers. Taking into account position, rank, and performance, the system allowed all qualifying Elves to take turns using the Spirit Gathering Chambers.

At the same time, the Clan was also stepping up its efforts to collect materials, striving to build more Spirit Gathering Chambers.

Finally, there was the matter of the birth rate.

After seven long years of experiments and observation, once it was confirmed that the Fertility Pills did indeed promote childbirth and had no side effects, the Elder Council began to promote and popularize these Pills within the Clan.

The Elves were not resistant to this.

Given the long-term high-pressure survival environment of the Eldron Plain, even Elves tended to be pragmatic in their thinking.

They accepted the Fertility Pills very quickly.

However, it would take a long time to see exactly how much the birth rate would increase.

In addition, with the full support of the Elders, Anton also successfully laid down a Generative Nurturing Array centered on the Spring of Life, covering the entire settlement.

After the Array was activated, there were no obvious phenomena in the settlement.

The promotion of fertility and the nourishment of life proceeded subtly and imperceptibly.

Like the Fertility Pills, the Generative Nurturing Array would also take a very long time to show concrete results.

...

Inside the Eternal Hall, the lights were brightly lit.

The three Elders sat behind a long table, each dealing with a pile of documents.

One of the costs of the Clan’s rapid development was a sharp increase in daily affairs to be managed.

This was evident from the mountains of documents piled on the table before them.

Despite the busyness, the three of them were happy to bear it.

What they most wanted to see was the Clan developing, growing stronger, and marching toward glory.

Now that this goal was being realized bit by bit, how could they not be happy?

Just then, the Second Elder suddenly looked up, pointed at the sheepskin paper in front of him, and said, ”Intelligence from Bishui Port. Another military outpost on the Dragon’s Fang defensive line has been destroyed.”

This news immediately caught the attention of the other two Elders, who both looked up.

”Where was it this time?” the Third Elder asked.

”The Lone Rock Outpost on the western front,” the Second Elder said with a sigh. ”This is already the twenty-first military outpost destroyed in recent years.”

”Kresol Dragon City is probably going to be furious again.”

A gloating smile appeared on the Third Elder’s face.

”I heard that last time they sent five whole Golden Tier high-blood Dragon Race members to ambush the mysterious attacker, but four were killed. The last one only managed to escape by relying on an Extraordinary Level teleportation-type magical item.”

Hearing this, the Great Elder and the Second Elder also showed faint smiles.

The more setbacks Dragon City suffered, the happier they were, and they even developed a bit of a favorable impression of the mysterious person.

Not long ago, Dragon City announced the identity of the mysterious person attacking their military outposts. The person was supposedly named Canglan, who had been wanted by the Bishui Port garrison seventy-odd years ago for killing a guard of the Flame Trade Association’s president.

But they had vanished without a trace afterward and hadn’t been seen since.

It was only in recent years that they reappeared.

Many people already suspected that Canglan was also likely responsible for the death of the Flame Trade Association’s president, Everett.

After that, Dragon City also issued a bounty for the mysterious person. The reward was a staggering fifty thousand Gold Coins, which caused quite a stir for a time.

However, very few people took up the bounty.

On one hand, the vast majority of races held no goodwill toward Dragon City and were happy to see them suffer setbacks.

On the other hand, Canglan’s strength was simply too formidable.

Never mind the track record of single-handedly destroying over twenty military outposts.

To fight five Middle and Upper Gold Tier high-blood Dragon Race members, kill four of them, and almost wipe out the entire group...

Even if that level of strength wasn’t quite at Golden Peak, it couldn’t be far off.

Ordinary Golden Tier individuals didn’t dare to take this bounty, let alone common people.

Thus, to this day, Canglan remained at large, amazing many people while also becoming the subject of secret ridicule directed at Dragon City.

”I never thought the Fallen Dragon Association had an expert of this caliber,” the Third Elder said with a chuckle.

Although there was no clear evidence that Canglan was part of the Fallen Dragon Association, besides them, no one else would fight Dragon City to the death.

The three of them chatted and laughed for a while before turning to another topic.

The Great Elder’s gaze swept over the other two as he asked with a light laugh, ”How are the effects of the Origin Restoration Elixir?”

”Very good.” A smile appeared on the Second Elder’s stern face.

The Third Elder also nodded with a smile.

The Origin Restoration Elixir was a new elixir developed by Anton. It was similar to the Dragon Essence Elixir, but its effects were stronger by more than just a notch.

The Magic Power concentration of the Golden Tier far surpassed that of the Silver and Black Iron Tiers, so the effects of the Dragon Essence Elixir on them were far from good.

But the Origin Restoration Elixir was different. Even Golden Tier experts could feel a distinct acceleration in their Magic Power condensation speed after consuming it.

After cultivating with the Origin Restoration Elixir for some time, both of them had made considerable progress.

The Great Elder nodded slightly and glanced at the Second Elder.

The Third Elder was a Middle Gold, but the Second Elder was an Upper Gold Warrior.

Once his Magic Power accumulation reached its limit, he could try to awaken his own Power of Law.

If he succeeded, the Silver Moon Clan would gain another Golden Peak combatant, and the benefits to the Clan would be self-evident.
