Gene Domination: The Loli Who Devours Worlds

Chapter 193: Chapter 192: Settlement and Return

Underground base, at the entrance of the secret room.

No one dared to say no to Lilith’s demands.

Even though these high-ranking military officials knew that scientific research results capable of changing the global landscape must never fall into anyone’s hands, especially a creature of unknown origin and terrifyingly immeasurable strength.

But so what?

In the face of absolute power, all principles and bottom lines were merely laughable struggles.

The general led Lilith through layers of heavily guarded checkpoints—fingerprints, irises, voiceprints, and dynamic passwords—every security measure was useless before Lilith.

It wasn’t because they weren’t advanced enough, but because no one dared to stop her.

Finally, they arrived in front of a hidden secret room.

The heavy alloy door slowly opened, revealing rows of neat server cabinets.

The general took a palm-sized silver hard drive from a wall safe and held it with both hands, respectfully presenting it to Lilith.

“This is all the research data from the Gene Energy Company.”

His voice trembled slightly as he tried his best to maintain his final composure.

“Raw data, experimental records, gene sequences, virus formulas—everything is here. The military backed it up in three copies; this is one of them.”

Lilith took the hard drive and weighed it in her hand.

Small and light.

Yet it carried secrets enough to change the world.

The corners of her mouth curled up slightly, revealing a smile.

The smile was very faint, even arguably kind.

But in the next second, the words she spoke caused the temperature in the entire room to plummet.

“If I find out that the contents in here are fake…”

She paused, her crimson vertical pupils slowly lifting to rest on the trembling general before her.

“You, and all of America—”

“Will no longer need to exist.”

As the childish voice fell, the general’s body jolted violently.

*Thud!*

He fell directly to his knees!

His knees hit the cold floor with a dull thud.

This old man, who held the highest military power in America and usually stood at the pinnacle of power, was now like a frightened quail, trembling all over, his forehead dripping with cold sweat.

He didn’t doubt the truth of what this little loli said in the slightest.

Because the image of that crimson lightning beam sweeping through Chicago was still deeply branded in his mind.

Those five people, those high and mighty beings who were like gods, were crushed like ants before her.

If she wanted to destroy this country, it really was only a matter of time.

“No! No, no, no!”

He shook his head frantically, his voice filled with panic and urgency.

“Everything in here is real! Absolutely true! I guarantee it with my life!”

He looked up, his gaze level with Lilith’s.

In those cloudy eyes, besides fear, there was also a hint of humble pleading.

Lilith watched him quietly, her crimson eyes showing no ripples of emotion.

She could feel that the fear in his eyes was genuine.

That kind of trembling from the depths of the soul could not be faked.

“I hope so too.”

She spoke indifferently.

Then, she took a step, her military boots treading across the floor as she passed by the kneeling general.

When she reached the door, she stopped.

She didn’t look back.

She only used that childish voice to leave behind one last sentence.

“Stay alive.”

“To prove that you are telling the truth.”

Having said that, she stepped over the threshold and walked out of the secret room.

Behind her, the general knelt where he was, gasping for breath, his clothes soaked through with cold sweat.

She was only trying to scare him.

Destroy all of America?

She certainly had the ability, but she wouldn’t do it.

Once she truly began to destroy America, all of America’s nuclear bombs would probably come after her.

Although she was confident she could dodge most of them, if the quantity was too large and the range too wide, they wouldn’t even need a direct hit.

The shockwaves, radiation, and high temperatures of a nuclear explosion would be enough to cover a vast area, or even detonate in advance to seal off her location.

Before determining whether nuclear bombs could pose a threat to her, she wouldn’t do something so crazy.

Besides—

She didn’t have the time.

She had already taken what she needed to take.

She had already killed the people who needed to be killed.

The mission was also complete.

Lilith walked out of the underground base and looked up at the sky.

In the next moment, her figure vanished directly from where she stood.

No light, no ripples, no warning whatsoever.

She just disappeared into thin air.

As if she had never existed.

Leaving only The Pentagon and those officers inside who had collapsed to the ground, unable to wake up from that nightmare for a long time.

And that vanishing figure, along with the shadow she left behind, would be a nightmare that all of America could never escape for the rest of their lives.

…

Pure white settlement space.

Cold, crisp system notifications rang out in Lilith’s mind one after another.

[Ding! Scenario World: “Rampage” is being settled…]

[Mission Completion: Invader kills (5/5), additional Mutated Giant Beast kills (74)]

[Overall Rating: S+]

[Basic Rewards: Points +100, Free Attribute Points +5]

[Extra Reward for killing Invaders: Free Attribute Points +5]

[Kill Rewards: Points +500]

[Item Gains: None]

[Total Gains: Points +600, Free Attribute Points +10]

[Ding! Your current overall rating is S+, Hunter rank increased to: D+]

Lilith opened her eyes and looked at the light screen in front of her.

D+.

She frowned slightly.

Raising the Hunter rank was harder than she had imagined.

From D-rank to D+, it only increased by one small stage.

At this rate, she would need to get at least an S-rank rating in the next dungeon to promote to C-rank.

And only at C-rank could more system permissions be unlocked.

“If it weren’t for my own weakness in the first dungeon, and the G-Virus in the Resident Evil dungeon being devoured by me, causing the mission to fail…”

She murmured softly.

If she had been able to get an S+ rating both those times, she would be at least C+ by now.

According to her deductions, those top SSS-Rank Hunters…

Such as Luna, their Hunter ranks have likely already increased to C+.

But there was no disappointment on Lilith’s face.

Instead, the corners of her mouth curled up slightly into a smile.

Rank?

That was merely a label given by the system.

True strength was never measured by rank.

In her current Second Form, all her attributes were doubled.

Her Third Form, under the self-evolution of the G-Virus, was about to complete its final transformation.

Once that G-0 Tyrant body fully matured—

She had enough confidence to look down on all players on the entire Blue Star, and even nuclear bombs.

This was her foundation.

Lilith pulled back her thoughts, her gaze falling on the last line of the light screen.

[Do you wish to return to the real world?]

She reached out and tapped confirm.

A flash of white light.

In the next second, she appeared in her own lair.

The familiar Cave, the familiar scent, the familiar darkness and dampness.

Lilith stood in the center of the Cave and took a deep breath of this familiar scent.

Then—

She smiled.

That smile was exceptionally bright in the darkness.

“Since my strength has increased significantly…”

She whispered to herself, her voice echoing in the empty Cave.

“Then, it is also time—”

“To integrate all the Factions in all of America.”
